Very nice indeed _ spacious Decent spa
Amazing stay
Amazing stay... From the guys at check in to Gary who helped sort out afternoon tea we couldn't have got treated any better
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Hotel was convenient and quiet
World class hotel. Staff are extraordinarily professional, courteous and kind
Great spa and location
Not the best experience because of the reception service, but good location and nice hotel.
Nice experience clean and convenient
Nice hotel
Very nice hotel breakfast good room a little on the small side but overall very happy
No mini bar. Broken plug so no bath, no early check in.
Beautiful property and great restaurant and good location
Great hotel, great location and friendly staff
I liked everything about my stay from the room to the gym and the spa which was all included with the booking. It is very central and has direct links to the major parts of Manchester. I stayed here for 1 night for a Gracie Abram’s concert and it was a lovely treat for the morning after! Only small minor issue I would say is that it wasn’t made very clear how to get to the gym/spa during my check-in. I had to ask about it later on, but wasn’t really told (or at least made clear to me) that I needed to book a slot for the pool. The gym is fine and doesn’t require booking. But just ensure that when you do check-in, book a time slot for the pool otherwise you risk not going in. However, I had an excellent experience because a member of staff allowed me and my partner to go to the pool and spa without a booking. She said if it gets busy, we may have to leave early. But that was understandable and she was very accommodating by providing us towels to take back to our hotel room. Another thing is that only 1 lift (out of the 3) takes you down to the gym/spa area. So it felt quite funny having to travel down the lift with a bathrobe on and walk down some steps to reach the -1 level. All in all, the room was spacious enough, the view was nice and there was a lot included inside the room. The receptionist staff could have tried to engage in a bit more conversation to be more accommodating during check-in/check-out/when asked queries at the desk. I felt as though they were too busy.
Lovely
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, and great location for me.
Great hotel in great location. Love our stays here
Beautiful and quiet hotel with a gorgeous pool and sauna area. Really relaxing for central Manchester.
Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean and spacious. We really appreciated the effort the hotel went to for our anniversary and her birthday it was very thoughtful. Spa was very good and the gym for a hotel gym was very very good. We would love to stay here again.
all was good, the booking app did not correctly process which meant that they did not have my details when I arrived but the staff were lovely -they could see it on my phone, I came back later and could access the room. The accessible changing room near the pool needs a seat or somewhere to put your clothes out and a locker and a ramp to the pool
Girlfriends 25th Birthday amazing stay
It was my girlfriend’s 25th birthday, we absolutely loved the stay, really luxurious hotel. Hotel very close to the city and lots of the best restaurants. Really enjoyed the spa would 100% recommend.
The Edwardian, was an all.around very nice hotel. Sometimes fancy lobbies show a hotel to look very high end and the rooms don't back this up. The Edwardian however, had very nice rooms and the facilities were great. I will return.
Overnight in Manchester
Outstanding. Professional staff throughout. Wonderful room, really spacious and well equipped
Really nice hotel. However, fire alarm went off at 3.30am and staff were not particularly helpful when we asked for reassurance on safety. Hotel should consider sending emails to reassure guests if the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night.
Great hotel and friendly staff throughout the stay. Pool area was fantastic.
Great property
Not quite top end.
A spacious room and pleasant environs. Fantastic pillows, and they haven't skimped on the toilet roll. The breakfast buffet had tasty sausages and the wait staff and location gave an air of sophistication. A few too many niggling downsides, however, given it's premium to surrounding hotels. Slightly grimy shower door handle (pictured) and: what's this hole? The provided robe was damaged and anyhow it's poor quality fabric. You're not permitted to wear footwear in the spa area, not even flipflops. This was disturbing in the heavily trafficked areas, which looked grubby here and there. And though the bath temperature pool felt luxurious there were a few things floating beneath the surface (I actually had a proper swim in it, with goggles.)
Great facilities, lovely staff
Wedding stay
We stayed 2 nights forbour wedding and had a great time. The spa was a lovely bonus to our stay and the hotel is fabulous with attentive staff. We will definitely be staying again.
Lovely but of luxury
Lovely hotel, we have stayed previously and was the same excellent experience. There was some disruption on the second night caused by other guests however when we rang reception, they sent security to resolve this.
Very good hotel - only thing is that we got a accessible room that we didn’t ask for but wasn’t a big deal only staying for one night, other than that a good stay
Hotel was fully booked so wasnt as best as we have had in the past seemed very choitic especially at breakfast with early check out of 11am. Spa facilities is limited to hour on the hour and was noisy and busy
Have to book for the spa, and the bathroom flooded when the shower was on.
Property is well located with great spa and entrance. Rooms are a little tired. Front desk team are always friendly and helpful, hotel is let down by the restaurant and the staff that work there. Had to have breakfast in the bar area on a cocktail table, with lounge sofa and stool. Staff unfriendly and inattentive (didn’t get the offer to order off the menu). Dinner at my previous stay was as bad (and well over priced for service, atmosphere and food).
Excellent hotel
Disappointed Stay.
Bar Closes at 12PM, we arrived at that time asked for a drink and the manager said he would ring in a time period, room service poor, no food only paninis.
Lovely room and breakfast.
The hotel room was well layed out with an open and spacious feel. Very comfortable bed and an ability to create a nice dark environment to sleep well.
Lovely modern hotel, very good spa, though you must book access in advance, lovely bathroom, everything you need
Right in the heart of everything. Walk about to restaurant bars and things to do
Always love my stay at the Edwardian!
All the staff were lovely, they went above and beyond to make my stay perfect and surprise my partner for his birthday with a little cake in the room! Everything was perfect l!
Ordered a double bed superior room, got a twin regular room - very unhappy with this. Room service not good, basic quality. Sent message to hotel requesting to book a swimming slot with my son, no booking made, no slots available when I tried to book again on check in. Poor all around for the money paid. Disappointing.
Amazing experience. Staff was very supportive . Very good service
Positives: Breakfast (very good for a buffet) Spa facilities and gym were amazing and clearly a lot of investment had gone into this Lots of restaurants etc as in the city centre Negatives The room was very dated and not very clean, for the price this was quite disappointing. The rooms aren’t soundproofed and it was very loud at night, particularly as there are doors along the hallways which don’t have a soft close.
Brilliant staff could ask for better service
Poor service in the restaurant
Beautiful hotel with a lovely pool and spa area. Excellent location. The only issue was the restaurant which was extremely loud and not ideal for our group. The library bar was closed and not accessible to our group unfortunately. The service in the restaurant at dinner was very poor we eventually left without an offer of deserts or coffees .
The Edwardian has a good location and is a beautiful hotel.
Wouldn’t come back
The most uncomfortable nights sleep ever the bed was rock hard. No Netflix option on tv and I wouldn’t mind in a premier inn but for this level of pricing I’d be expect that. Back to the midland for us
Perfect location, swimming pool and gym was excellent and the best thing about the hotel. The room was lovely and bathroom and dressing area were spacious. There was a hair on the bed sadly and the toilet wasn’t quite clean.
The staff were very helpful . The on-site restaurant is very good as was the Spa .
Weekend stay
Checked in early and left bags at hotel as the room wasn’t ready. We were told we’d receive a text message if room was ready earlier, but we didn’t, so headed back to the hotel at 3pm and it was ready as soon as I asked. Room was nice. Some marks in bath and bed seemed very low, but none of this spoiled our stay. Coffee machine leaked all over desk when we’d come back after our evening out. My husband likes a biscuit with his coffee, but there was none on offer in the room.
Had stayed this summer and enjoyed an excellent a la carte breakfast. Sadly they now have a buffet not the same standard at all and additional costs for a few choices. Such a shame . The staff and room where great
Really disappointing experience. Booked as it was supposedly 5 star and we wanted to relax and unwind after coming back off holiday. We were unable to use the spa as it was closed when we arrived in the evening, and the dismissive and unhelpful desk staff told us it would be full the following morning and no slots were available. We were left to struggle up to the room with heavy luggage and figure out where it was as we weren’t given any guidance. The room itself was awful and more like a motel than a 5 star hotel. Uncomfortable bed, dreadful shower, no space and the television just had basic channels. No water, no tissues, just totally basic. Would have been better in a Travel Lodge. If this has been assessed as 5 star then the system needs to change.
It was all beautiful. Nothjng was too much trouble. Will definitely stay again.
Absolutely fabulous
We stayed Christmas Eve for 1 night. Book parking in advance as we think it is cheaper than paying on the day. We would highly recommend & will definitely stay again.
Fantastic location!
Fabulous hotel in a great location! Good view from the 14th floor with views of the city. We had gorgeous time! The room was good but a little dusty! Breakfast was ok, room was too crammed and noisy and some of the breakfast items were cold and others not replaced. Service was very good!
Stay for a Show
Quick check in which is good. Rooms are very nice. Pillows very soft and no support so not a great nights sleep. TV remote didn’t work very well and hardly at all, spoke with reception who said they would get it changed but after arriving back later in the evening this still was a problem and couldn’t actually work the TV at all then. Toilet cracked which I wouldn’t expect of a 5* hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Great location.
Xmas stay
Hotel entrance looked lovely. Staff all really friendly but no information about breakfast/restaurant/bars when we checked in. Room was very dated and we felt it was quite shabby. Blind broken. Great location.
Relaxing break in great hotel.
Great from check in to checkout. Nice spa facilities, excellent breakfast, a nice relaxing break!
Everything was absolutely perfect throughout our stay!
The staff was fantastic from the moment we arrived until we left. Our room was spacious & clean & nothing was to much trouble
Great location, staff friendly.
Excellent hotel well worth a visit
Nice hotel. Great location
Rooms were brilliant. Bed was extremely comfy. Everything about the hotel was quality.
Always love this place
My favorite hotel always in Manchester
5* stay
Amazing! Comfortable, clean
Great Hotel
Great hotel with excellent facilities. Modern and spacious rooms, great breakfast and in a good location. staff were pleasant and helpful.
Outstanding!
Great hotel
Nice hotel in a great location with a fantastic gym and pool
Fantastic stay again
Fantastic stay. Rooms are great and the staff are brilliant. Can’t do enough to help and are very friendly. The spa was very nice and relaxing This was our second time staying here and we will definitely stay again
Pretty well located,
Best hotel in manchester
Hopefully a one-off issue
Reception was a bit faffy unusually. Normally I can check in quickly at this hotel, but it wasn’t so quick. Checkout was similar - 4 people behind counter, but only 1/2 working on helping guests.
Excellent hotel, nice spa etc Very clean
Staff attitude was terrible, no room service after 11 pm - no residents bar or anywhere to get a drink with friends after 12.00. Very expensive and no real facilities or service to justify 5 star !
Overall amazing could not fault a single thing during our stay!
Best hotel in Manchester
Practical location. Staff not particularly friendly nor efficient.
Great facilities, really enjoyable!
Poor
The rooms are smaller than what they post the windows had dust all over I was disappointed to be honest
Great 5* hotel with all the amenities you need. Lovely gym & spa space.
Great central location with large rooms and space. Pool, gym and spa are great for central location. Staff very friendly.
Although I keep staying here you guys never have anything on file for me. This was about my 10th stay since Covid!
Luggage got stolen after handing over to concierge Staff (except secuirty manager and head concierge) was non emphatetic and pretty bad in dealing with this
The location is in the city centre and its an easy walk to different places of interest. Reception is usually good. Though I've had someone help carry my bag to the room and tell me my bags shouldn't be that heavy. The room is a bit dated but clean. The spa, hot tub and pool are nice. Will stay here again.
Nice hotel, my only complaint are the bar prices. Very expensive which explains why it was largely empty.
A lovely hotel in an excellent location. The restaurant should NOT BE overlooked.
Great stay in Manchester
Gorgeous hotel with friendly helpful staff lovely big room on 12th floor with city views.Breakfast was very good. I’d definitely stay here again.
The front desk was super friendly after a delay flight they gave us sn up grade to a suite
Spa and wellness area really good
They would not issue me a VAT receipt and blamed Expedia
Best hotel in Manchester
Amazing Experience, Was here for my wedding Anniversary. Hotel manager greeted us on arrival and handed our toddler a Teddy, which was a beautiful gesture. Facilities are top notch, Luxurious
Na
Fabulous stay great location and staff
Great location and nice spa…
The best hotel I've ever stayed in!!
The room and spa facilities were incredible. Very relaxing atmosphere throughout. My swim session was the highlight. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!
Terrific
Lovely hotel, great bar on ground flor
Overall a highly specified hotel, especially the spa. However, felt the rooms were below average standard and dated, which was a let down on the trip.
Amazing hotel

Beautiful Hotel
Hotel is in a good location, easy to walk to main amenities.. The staff are very smart and attentive, particular thanks to Gary who is wonderful we got a lovely welcome from the him when we arrived. Also Kyan looked after us on reception. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice. Room was comfy and good facilities. We used the Spa which is really nice with a good sized pool. Would definitely recommend.
