Handy to Newmarket

Great place to stay, so handy to Newmarket. Spacious and well equipped. Have stayed here often and never disappointed.

Great stay

Brilliant location in Newmarket adjacent to Westfield mall with shopping and dining. The modern apartment accommodation was perfectly clean and secure carpark was ideal. Friendly accommodating service from the team.

Clean & modern

Excellent location and the staff were awesome and easy to deal with, unfortunately the room was not to the standard shown in the photos. There were holes in the wall which hadn’t been adequately fixed, carpet had numerous stains, as did the duvet on the bed. The room condition was well below the standard you would expect for the price.

One night business trip

Then location was perfect, but the map described it as Epsom location so when we discovered it was in the middle of Newmarket we were thrilled. The bathrooms were not clean and needed a good scrub. Nice people on the front desk who were helpful and pleasant.

Empty section behind property needs a clean up as it was our view but not their fault. Aparent was perfect for what we needed.

Great location, nice and quiet, well appointed. No sparkling wine glasses and fridge opened wrong way. Otherwise perfect for our 1 night stay and will recommend it.

Nice big unit, bit on the dearer side. Altogether great but would’ve liked some laundry detergent and blinds for the slanted windows

Good stay with two little ones. So handy for mall and supermarket. Parking always handy and very useful having washing machine and dryer. Our choice for Auckland accommodation

Perfect Newmarket location

Great stay, girlfriends’ trip where we all rented 2x 2bdm apartments and all got our own bathroom! Very clean, full suite of amenities. So convenient to the Westfield shopping mall and restaurants. Pros outweighed the “interesting” or perhaps I should say uninteresting view of an empty lot and car park building; beds firm, carpets need deep clean or replacement.

More of an aparthotel than a hotel. Rooms are very big and comfortable. Good secure parking.

Very spacious, plenty of modern amenities. Our only frustration was we could not book for an extra night due to Coldplay concerts.

This property is ideal for somebody wanting to spend a weekend shopping in Newmarket or using it as a hub to explore Auckland city. Great value.

All's Well that Ends Well...

Checked in late through a lockbox... some issues as checkin information went to my Junk email but got sorted in the end and definitely not the fault of the Edgerley. It would be good if there were an after-hours contact number.

Always clean, will appointed and safe, secure parking. I've stayed with my family twice and will definitely go back.

A great place to stay. Even though it is near the motorway it was quiet. 5 mins walk to many food choices, supermarket, shopping. A nice balcony, clean with all necessary for a stay. It’s a mini apartment, with washing machine.

Fabulous place to stay with your family. Quiet, clean, close to large Westfield for shopping. Easy parking. Kitchen has basic cooking equipment but we managed ok. Definitely recommend.

was very nice and definitely value for money, secure building and carpark was a big plus and not having to worry about parking or security of the car after travelling took out a lot of worry

The Edgerly’s location is close to shops and the Newmarket mall with eating court, also within walking distance to the train station.

Very quiet. Only negative was a pair of ladies crusty crotch underwear in the wardrobe. Not good enough

Good accomodation! Amazing location, would have been perfect if it wasn’t for a few things. We ran out of hot water twice, two days in a row. We also washed some clothes in our in room washing machine & something was in wash machine & changed the colour of our load to blue!! & the beds are absolutely terrible - the carpet is actually softer then the beds. If it wasn’t for these things it probably would have been the best accomodation I’ve stayed at location, property & rooms itself, parking - amazing.

Nice big rooms with easy parking. Everything you need in kitchen. Could supply more.towels. Very noisy as next to motorway .. cant have ranch slider open or sit on balcony. Not hotels fault but waste ground that u look onto are awful .. big trucks stored overnight and rubbish everywhere.

Great location. Huge let down for the mattress and bedding items. Overall under average for the price you pay.

Disappointing

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. Overall it was OK. Parking underneath was convenient. Westfield Newmarket was a short walk away. We found it strange that there were no wine glasses in the room. Biggest problem was the washing machine/dryer combination. There were no instructions for it. I put it on and then could not open the door to add something. It didn’t dry everything and ended up taking over 3 hours to do one load.

Our room had everything we needed. Nice and close to Westfield/Archie Brothers. The one thing that has let down the look of this place is the front cream wall with the Edgeley Suites sign on it. Needs a really good clean. Overall we were happy with our stay 😊

The property suited our purposes very well...close to Broadway in Newmarket, plenty of space inside the apartment for a short stay, great shower and secure parking on-site. While very clean the apartment is starting to show some aspects of 'wear and tear'. The bedside lights are rather dim for reading but overall these were minor niggles. We will definitely stay there again.

This property is located in a great location. 5min easy walk to New Market mall. Check in is easy and the team are super friendly. We have stayed here multiple times over the past 4 years. It is consistently great. Highly recommend this accommodation.

We stayed one night here before a medical procedure, then had to che k in again for a second night at short notice. The manager was so helpful and made everything very easy. Also a great location, close to Westfield, motorway access, hospital, and medical specialists.

Very handy to westfield Newmarket 5min walk. Unit needed a good carpet cleaning as lots of stains. Very hard beds. Free parking is great and very secure.

Liked the location and staff were friendly. Unfortunately found the beds quite hard and uncomfortable. The room had a few marks on the carpet and walls, however didn’t affect the stay at the property.

Just excellent service n excellent comms when I left my air pods under the pillow. The cleaner gave them to admin. Admin organised with me to send it same day. The rooms were modern n quiet and we will stay again but I do want to compliment their excellent customer service. 10/10 for me. Brilly.

Great size rooms. Clean. Plenty of provisions like towels, tea, coffee and milk. Parking was excellent. I would love to stay here again on any return visits to Auckland.

Lovely stay

Security concerns

Located in a strange office(?) building at the end of a quiet alley next to a freeway. There’s no security and the elevators don’t require key card. Saw someone tailgate a person in. Not ideal if you’re traveling alone. Living area was fine.

Brilliant place to stay. Went out of their way to make our stay exceptional

The checking states 2pm but we had wait up to 45 minutes before the room was cleaned, we where given the keys at check in and when went up to the room is was still unmade?? so had to go and find the cleaners an get them to come and make up the room which delayed us by 45 minutes, so they really need to look into this

Convenience location

Property could be good if better managed. Carpets very stained although apartment relatively new. Rubbish areas very smelly due to inadequate cleaning. Overall ok but photos make place look way better than it is

Absolutely loved our stay here! We had 2 kids (3&4 yrs old) and this was a dream place to stay. So nice so perfect to stay at. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Good and bad

A wonderful location a block from the shopping mall, with good parking, but the interior condition and the streetscape lets it down. The carpet was stained, the walls were marked and the street was not well looked after or well lit. Notwithstanding this, it was still a good stay until the Friday night when the neighbouring apartment had a party and was playing loud music at midnight. Security couldn't do much because the offenders were not part of the hotel (they did say they would door knock on their next round) but management weren't very sympathetic the next day (they could have offered to complain to the tenant's landlord). If we had been the ones making noise, we would have received a $500 fine.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the spacious apartment with everything we needed in the room and shopping and restaurants close by

First time staying in something of this price range, but thoroughly enjoyed it. The view into the dense garden from the balcony looked awesome in the rain, and the beds were comfortable and clean.

Another great stay at Edgerley .. just a shame about the conditions of the neighbours but outside Edgerleys control

There was no hand towels no soap and no shampoo and conditioner which is normally standard

Convenient location. Clean. Very hard beds and carpets could do with cleaning or replacing. Good facilities and parking.

I was disappointed with the condition of the room stained carpet tv not working and the shower pressure was very poor , car park was a bit yuck had rubbish and broken glass everywhere . I liked the deck but the view wasn’t good at all . I’d give an overall 3/10 I stayed 2 nights for my birthday
