Very Modern
Great modern room. Beds were comfortable and the nostalgia of the building just add to the character. I would stay here again.
No launary。parking is a little bit of expensive.
Over all good. when we went they had a cool Christmas pop up with speciality drinks.
The picture displayed a very clean bathroom with white lights. The bedroom and bathroom were both not clean. The bathtoom tiles are a greyish-white with lots of gunk in between them, even build up in the corner of the floor of the shower. We just didnt feel very comfortable or relaxed with the tiled floors being dingy. Definitely not worth all the money.
Clean and stylish hotel. Really love the interior design.
Rooms are big and clean. Conveniently located
First off, staff were excellent. My first room had cockroaches so they gave me a second. Horrible design: near empty room, two plastic chairs and a mini table plus a bed, translucent window shades in the shower. Left a night early from this bad experience and was billed for it. DTLA has so many great places to stay, so avoid this poor one.
handy to the amtrak railway station
Good
This property was listed as 0.14 miles from the LA Convention Center. In reality, it was a mile plus. As as staff, most were as pleasant as could be, a select few were extremely rude. Never asked for anything extra or above and beyond. Simply asked if my package had arrived and was treated as an annoyance without holding back the attitude. As far as the actual hotel, it was dirty, elevators broken, and overall low upkeep. The room, which was a “premium”, was a train wreck. Oddly large, empty, and strangely spaced. One TV across the room, one small table, open bathroom. All around weird. Only redeemable trait of this hotel was the diner. Great food and the prices were low.
Our stay was warm and welcoming. The only issue was parking. Regular parking was $30 however you weren’t able to come in or out. Overall everything was great.
Bad experience they did not give us the microwave we asked for time reception staff was rude
The coffee/tea bar did not seem to follow the opeartion hours posted on the website. That limited my access to it even though their menu was more appropiate for my needs.
Bed was comfortable and the room was clean
Up to scratch
Front desk was great room was nice elevator got stuck but overall nice place
Great service in a unique style hotel. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Room was nice, staff was friendly, central location was great!
Great experience overall!
I love that the lounge is open for drinks. The atmosphere is very nice. No coffee until 7am though. Please put coffee makers in rooms for us early risers.
Best hamburgers in town.
Amazing staff and super clean place.
I would definitely stay here again!
Great Stay!
The staff was very nice and accommodating! And the food at Denae’s is very good!
The property was very clean with attentive staff.
The Delphi is a "legit" boutique experience!
The hotel was beautiful and offered a "boutique" vibe throughout, however" The staff was certainly the highlight! They were all warm, welcoming, accommodating, informational and offered many "bells and whistles" and bonus features without request or necessity! I will stay again for sure! Well done Delphi!
Friendly, comfortable hotel
It was friendly, clean and adequate for what we needed. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. It wasn’t fancy but worked for us! Came down for one night to see a concert nearby so it served as a crash pad.
Perfect
The front desk staff and manager are amazing they went out their way it was just one guy that worked in valet that was racists a man with glasses the hotel needs a major facelift with the red carpet and the beds are way too low the manager are amazing the restaurant stars amazing the front desk is a vibe the hotel is fun especially at night with the entertainment it’s just that one guy he’s a major issue I would of given a five star if it wasn’t for the valet with the glasses !!!
Within walking distance to LA Live by the Arena. The staff was friendly. The room was well worn. Not great for over 50. The bed was a platform barely off the floor and difficult to get out of. The extra large tub was a huge bonus that made up for the short comings. It was definitely a great deal and the diner was fun for a late night bite to eat. Would recommend and visit again.
my special request was approved which was awesome and very much appreciated
Would definitely come back to the Delphi.
Older property that has been renovated. Used to be the standard
I enjoyed my staying
When I arrived, there was no hot water for over 24 hours. I had to go to my conference after traveling having not bathed. When I finally got hot water the next afternoon, the water pressure was laughable. The shower curtain has pink mold at the bottom and the area around the sink had hair and fuzz around it. I’ve had better amenities at a chain hotel.
The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Though I was put on hold when calling the front desk for an early check-in, the concierge apologized profusely, and answered my questions without me feeling rushed. The room was spacious, clean. And the area where the hotel is located was convenient for our stay because we had flown in for a concert and all our go-to sites were mostly a 15 minute drive away. I look forward to staying here again.
Real awesome staff really helpful and accommodating. Definitely would stay here again
The hotel is excellent. The room could have used a coffee maker or kettle. Nevertheless, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The vicinity of the hotel is rather unsafe and the streets were desolated at night.
The hotel is old in some way, great location plus the staff was friendly.
Thank you!
The lobby and diner were fantastic. The rooms were a little dated. We were promised complimentary items daily but they were not provided.
Their phone charger melted my phone case and they have avoided any kind of reconciliation for damages. I was told multiple times a manager would contact me to resolve the situation to no avail. The management is very unprofessional.
Great value, convenient
The staff was very friendly, and the room was a good size. The location was very convenient and the valet service very prompt. The room cleaning was inconsistent, and we were not told when we checked in that they only clean if you request it. The bed is on a platform one step up so you had to be careful not to trip at night. The bathroom was divided from the bedroom by a glass wall so it was not private. The diner is excellent. Thank you to housekeeping and the front desk staff for retrieving the jewelry I forgot in the safe and ensuring I got it back after i checked out.
Great property, room and dining. The bar and restaurant are very inviting with both indoor and outdoor seating.
I would give this hotel a 9.5 out of 10 rating. Everything was amazing, gorgeous hotel, friendly staff, dining downstairs and the amenities were convenient. The only reason it gets docked a half a point is because the shower is a glass see through wall where whoever you’re sharing a room with (might be nice for couples) can directly watch you shower. Besides that, everything was perfect.
This establishment was very clean and met our needs and wants. The front desk staff were always helpful and happy to see us. They made our stay welcoming and pleasant. The fitness center had modern equipment and was always clean. Our guest room layout and bed height were unconventional but enjoyable nonetheless.
Everything on first floor lobby was grand. Service excellent. Room was unique with glass shower arrangement but did not like platform bed. I am up frequently during the night and I felt uncomfortable navigating the platform in the dark. The hallway outside the rooms was bland, narrow, and unappealing.
It was a nice stay. The room just felt outdated and dirty carpet.
Nice area, convenient
I didn’t like anything about this property during my 7 night stay. The only good review is the staff at the diner. That’s it!!! Beds were basically on the floor with a little platform and they were so uncomfortable. The staff at the front desk were rude and it took over an hour waiting on bath towels. I was unaware of many charges while staying here. For example: destination fee, parking fee, room fee, etc. I came out of pocket another $300 on top of my booking with Expedia. Safe to say I will never stay here again and I don’t recommend anyone else to stay here.
Property was easy to get to. Restaurant was good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room design was a little strange, the shower was all glass between the room, presenting a privacy issues for a shared room. Otherwise a good hotel.
The staff are friendly and helpful very cozy hotel Close to many places One thing I didn’t like is that most refrigerators don’t work properly also no where to warm up food but overall stay was good
I like the the hotel and service
.
I love staying here
Good
Great hotel for the price would go back again
Thanks!
The shower was placed in the middle of the room and had very low water flow. The liquid soap dispenser was jammed. The walls were so thin and it was really noisy. There was no hair dryer in the room and the tiles were dirty. I won’t stay here again.
The hotel is nice and clean and is close to subway and shopping malls.
Good
Australians are not used to rough and dirty parts of Downtown. Getting used to the drug addicts and weed smokers around the hotel can take longer than the duration of your holiday.
Delphi was great - we stayed in a suite and it was perfect for our 4 day adventure. Metro was close by and that was handy to get around town quickly. We took a lot of Ubers but everything seemed about 20 mins away, Good shopping nearby, and the dry bar near Macy’s was perfect for a hair pick me up (5 min walk) Staff were great when we were here. The pre check in process was a bit strange and I didn’t really like having to give my details outside of Expedia App. The pool and rooftop bar were not available, which was a bit disappointing but wasn’t advertised as being available so not tok upset about it. Denae’s is a great place to relax and the team there are wonderful. Cocktails and food were lovely and they had some cool vibes on the Saturday with a DJ. Parts of downtown can be a bit rough, but not near the Delphi. Going out alone at night in any major city can be a bit risky, and LA is no different. Go to Santa Monica for the day and go and visit Johnny at Boardwalk Rentals- such a great guy, hire a double electric “Range Rover” and see the coast the best way you can. Just be out of Venice by dark as it turns ugly at 8pm.
Good restaurants around area.
It is centrally located to everything and the stay overall was satisfactory.
We loved everything about our visit. The food at Denae's was amazing and fresh and the service what top shelf. The aroma when you walk in the Hotel was to die for, my only mistake was not purchasing a candle of that signature scent. The room was beautiful and extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The staff from the minute we pulled in , the check in, the service in general was all amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. We will definitely be staying again in the future.
The staff were fantastic, the rooms were unique and comfortable.
Sleek and terrific design
Sleek, clean, minimal appointments. Exceptional location. Terrific design. Great restaurant.
Comfortable Stay Interrupted by Noise
The hotel is in a great location, close to local attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were friendly, and the hotel itself had a nice ambiance. However, the walls between the rooms are extremely thin, and noise travels easily. I could hear everything happening in the room next to mine, including very private details, which made it impossible to get a good night’s rest. This issue seriously detracted from the overall experience. If you’re looking for a place in a convenient location and don’t mind the potential noise, it might be a good fit. But for light sleepers or those seeking a quiet stay, it could be challenging.
They couldn't accommodate for another room
Easy excess, heart of downtown. Varieties of foods.
Beautiful hotel
Amazing stat great service the front desk was the best
Had a great stay! :)
I felt this property was quite dated. This was the first hotel that I have been at where there is no complimentary tea or coffee in the room or in the lobby.
Upgraded to a Suite.
They upgraded us to a suite for free so that was nice, and the suite had the biggest bath tub and shower I have ever seen, The staff was super nice. My only complaint is I am disabled and they did not have a working elevator to my car in the Am when I checked out so it was super difficult to get to my car with my luggage
Stylish and Comfortable
Very stylish and interesting hotel! I enjoyed my stay in this interesting and comfortable property.
Nice property
Super cute abd clean room. I loved our views. Staff was nice. Was very satisfied with our stay.
Great room, loved the extra towels and robes. Comfortable bed.
Hotel looks good but inside the hotel everything is old outdated smells bad ripped carpets and super super old furniture completely untouched since 20 years ago
This is my second time staying at The Delphi and once again, it was a great experience. Staff is very friendly and hotel is super clean. Will definitely stay here every time I come back to LA. Thank you!
The rooms was very nice the bathroom is so beautiful
Fantastic staff and great services. Sept 2024 - the property is under partial renovation. Just something to be aware of. Dennae’s Diner was so great and convenient. That staff were top notch and very helpful with tips.
The lounge area was fabulous and had a wonderful ambience.. there was a nice scent and nice music playing anytime I entered the lounge.. Now the room itself left a lot on the table.. no drawers, limited available power outlets, a almost see through shower that can be seen from the bedroom, so you can at bare minimum see the silhouette of who’s ever showering , not cool if u have kids or staying with a friend. And the tv was on a pole from the ground . Not mounted in wall or drawer. Had a bit of old school motel vibe in the room. Not a fan of the decor. But excellent t customer service , excellent lounge area, and I did feel safe . Fellas probably not the best place to take your lady if she is particular, but it was ok for me and my buddy , we went to attend a USC GAME.
Great staff and the food at the Denae Diner is very good! Hassan, the manager is lovely. Live music Thursdays too!
.
I recently stayed for 5 nights and I enjoyed every single one of them. Staff was super friendly and answered my questions. The valet parking was easy and quick to bring my vehicle and the diner inside the hotel had very good food at a decent price. Overall the hotel was exceptional and I will definitely stay here again.
It was the perfect stay for my first time in LA. Easy check in, they were even able to to accommodate me with an early check in! Super cute room with a view of the city, in the heart of downtown Los Angelas. Would highly recommend!!
Old facility
Location was good for baseball
Good place to stay
Didn’t expect to have only one elevator working for all the customers . It was so hard to wait until the elevator came down for another bunch of customers and had to wait for a time of 10 to 15 minutes 👎👎
The staff is not very nice don’t have service mind And we are stay 2 people but they give just 1 towel
Elevators are slow and need new carpets.
Parking is 50$ with valet and $33 at a nearby booth
All was well except the elevators. Only one of four operated. The diner was excellent. Good food and drink with great service
Nice hotel. Great staff. Convenient location. However the elevators were all broken when we arrived, so the staff were shuttling big groups of people up and down one service elevator which seemed unsafe and overwhelming. To their credit, they got the elevators fixed within a couple hours.
The property was very well maintained , appealing to the eye.
Elevator didn’t work so we got stuck in elevator 3 different times during a one night stay. We had to eat lunch sitting on the floor of the elevator.
Amazing vibe and cool modern feel to the hotel. The food downstairs is delicious and fairly priced.
Beautiful hotel , affordable price right in the middle of downtown la
