We paid for a superior room, upon arrival the bed was slanted, you could feel every spring in the mattress coming through, no heating in the room, heating not working, shower was cold in the evening, definitely not a superior room!!! I would be ashamed to be advertising this as a superior room!! Definitely will not book this hotel again!!
Let down by broken heating and smelly drains!
On arrival the hotel room seemed fine and clean, despite having to wait quite a long time due to one lift being out of service. Unfortunately when we returned to our room at midnight, the smell of drains was horrendous, I can only assume this was because we left the sink plug open which wasn’t on arrival. Also the room AIRCON was broken it was absolutely freezing. The staff did bring us a very small oil radiator which warmed the room slightly by 7am. We contemplated leaving and going home or finding another hotel which we definitely would have had it not been so late. We had to sleep fully clothed, with a robe on that was in the room. The next day the reception staff was apologetic and had even complained about being so cold themselves, they offered a 20% discount but I will be seeking a full one.. I think it’s appalling that staff are having to work in such cold conditions. The hotel is obviously in need of some maintenance. It’s a shame as the location and bar, etc and even the rooms are nice other than this. Given the circumstances, I feel my stay did not meet the standards I expected from The Cube. I would appreciate it if you could address these issues and provide full compensation for the inconvenience caused.
Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. However the hotel could use some investment. Carpets and furnishings are starting to look a little shabby. But still a good place to stay.
Chosen for my daughter’s graduation at the University Of Birmingham and for the onsite restaurant to celebrate afterwards. -Main issue is parking. I have 2 elderly parents who both have a blue badge but parking is abysmal and we struggled with that. -Only 1 lift was working which was an issue (1mobility scooter etc), so we had to wait long times to navigate floors as walking not an option. -No heating in hotel. Not a problem for us but my parents found it cold despite being given portable heaters. -Our balcony room was lovely but sadly above the bed was a collection of contact lenses on the ceiling where previous occupants have “flicked” them up. In conclusion, it’s a lovely hotel but there were issues that took the shine of what was a lovely break away.
Good overall stay
Good stay. Great breakfast with good service.
Terrible
No parking at hotel Bed had massive dip in (2036) Paint on wall peeling off Shower tiles not on properly Terrible room & experience
Was disappointed that we could only have breakfast up until 830 due to maintenance taking place. It was a rush in the morning. The hotel was nice and the bed was comfortable
Sewage smell and tired rooms!
We stayed at the cube through a recommendation from friends but we were thoroughly disappointed. The room had good views of Birmingham but the smell of sewage in the room was horrific. The room itself was tired with bits falling off and cracks everywhere. The cleanliness of the bathroom was ok for our use but wouldn’t use the shower as it was dirty. Overall, it was ok but we won’t be going back.
Amazing
Amazing location for Utilita Are a & the centre.
Not the Greatest Stay
It wasn’t great. The carpets throughout are really dirty with stains all over them especially outside our room on the 23rd floor. There is no air conditioning or it’s not working so it was so hot in the room. The staff on reception have no idea what they’re doing. The breakfast on the 25th floor was good but at £18.95 it should be.
Cold and tired.
Chose this boutique described hotel for a long weekend in Birmingham. The reception is very underwhelming, lots of light off, unmanned counters and very cold. The Receptionist was lovely and swiftly checked me in to room 2409. The room was extremely tired, cracked tiles in the bathroom, poor up keep of the shower (black mould and mastic coming away) and very cold. There was a small plug it oil radiator in the room. I plugged it in and adjusted the thermostat before going out. When I returned it was the same. In the morning I was freezing and spoke to the receptionist, Patty, who was very helpful and moved me to another room. Which was a massive improvement and warm. She gave me a coupon for a drink in the bar. When the room was made up they didn’t replace coffee, biscuits or tissue. Aside from Patty, all the staff looked so unhappy and gave such lacklustre service. In check out the receptionist told me there was a charge from the bar, I had only redeemed the coupon issued for moving rooms. He could offer no explanation or details on the charge and very begrudgingly dismissed me when I said that I had nothing to pay. The area is at the back of the Mailbox which feels like its glory has well faded since it opened with Harvey Nichols in.
Nice hotel in a good location
The hotel was really nice. A little noisy from the restaurant packing up later at night but not to bad. Please check your conformation email as regards tbe parking discout, you need to prebook it. It cannot be done at the hotel when you check out.
Needs more safety…
We visited very recently and loved the location of the hotel, very close to everything. This has the potential to be a really fantastic hotel and I believe a few years ago it probably was. However our stay wasn’t perfect. We got followed back to the hotel by a man around midnight, unfortunately the hotel has an open all door which is very unsafe. Yes you can’t use the lift without a key card but what’s to stop him from forcing us into the lift? We also had a lot of stains on the carpet and it all just felt very tired and worn. The bed however, that was perfect. The hotel itself is nice but for the same price I’d possibly choose somewhere else. Breakfast was a good 9/10 though!
Its not what they make it out to be
Stayed on the 30th October, nearly 3 weeks later still no refund for my deposit. Ignored emails. Only stayed like 8 hours max and the room was gloomy, beds put together so the gap in the middle was uncomfortable. Stayed in radisson blu the night prior, much better
Weekend Away
Reasonable room but nothing special stayed many times before as location is good for restaurants bars and transport links.
I would not recommend
The air conditioning was broken and stuck on 28 degrees, the fan in the room had one speed (the remote for adjusting was lost) and was really loud. The staff said they would fix the aircon remotely but didn’t or couldn’t. We wanted to shower and leave early as we slept so poorly, all the water was absolutely boiling (even from the cold tap) until about 7am when others got up. Really very strange. There was no one on reception when we checked out. All in all, great location but I wouldn’t return as it was highly let down by technical faults and issues resulting in an awful nights sleep.
It’s ok , can do better maximise the location standard wise.
One night at the cube
Check in process was fine. There is no parking on site for guests, though I was offered a 20% discount to park elsewhere. Room was comfortable but hot especially in the early hours. There is no A/C though 2 fans were provided. The carpets in the hallway appeared dirty whether it was the colour or wear.
Will definitely come back
Lovely room, great location and especially love the rooftop restaurant.
Very clean room. Really lovely area and a short walk to the city centre and New Street Station. Highly recommend
Ok but no heat or air con
A nice enough city hotel until you realise the air con and heating arent working. We were given a plug in radiator because we were so cold. But without the air con there's little air circulation either. Very helpful staff and a clean room, but did have coffee stains on the carpet. Really needs some investment to get it back up to scratch.
Evening was disrupted by 2 fire alarms @ 12:00am and again at 12:15am. Apart from this our stay was great however 2 false fire alarms so late did ruin the overnight experience
The hotel was dugusting, carpets were dirty. Tge shower was leaking and would not maintain a hot water temperature. The hotel bedroom heating eas not working, they promised heater but had none and said they can only offer extra blankets to keep warm. The hotel conditions and service was completely diabolical.
Hotel was great. However, the safe was not working in our room and there was no air con as it was faulty - but we wasn't t informed at check in- 3 fans were left in the room for us to use. Staff was very good and tried to help.
We had an ok stay at the cube - the standard rooms are large and clean with great views. Unfortunately the aircon was not working in the whole building, which no one told us about on check in - they just said they were working on it and had provided fans, but the room was very warm. The night team mentioned they could manually switch air con on in our room, but this didn’t happen. Breakfast on the top floor was a la carte, great view and food but limited options.
No air con room and corridors very hot. Ceiling lights not working
Nice full English breakfast and continental choices. I was there on a quiet day but I would hope that the bar stays open a little later and there would be a tea maid and coffee machine accompanying the breakfast. I imagine making your own cup of tea on a busy day would cause quite a queue. The rooms are tired and could do with a renovation but clean. The air con wasn't cooling in my room.
Nice hotel in a good location.
This trip was booked for an exhibition with 2 colleagues. Because I made the booking I was upgraded to a suite which was lovely and spacious with a balcony overlooking the canal and the city. This was a lovely room. The only downside was even as residents we were not allowed a drink after 10pm except on the Thursday night when we were served because there was a private party. We mentioned this to the bar manager who stated they were being served because they had booked the room until 11pm. I pointed out to him that between myself and my 2 colleagues we had booked rooms for 12 nights at a cost of £2,000
Worst experience and not clean
Worst experience ever not the clean standard and very old. Pictures is deceiving
Functional business hotel with no frills. Large rooms but slippery bathroom floors and the AC conked out. Views of Birmingham (not particularly exciting!) from floors 23 to 25 - which are also the only floors with hotel rooms/restaurants (rest are offices i believe).
Englebert Humperdinck
The staff were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and we had a very relaxing couple of nights. We wanted to stay near Gas Street as I came here many times to see my Dad's family as a youngster. We were in Brum to see Englebert Humperdinck at the Symphony Hall. Unfortunately, the concert was cancelled a few hours before the start. Despite this, we had a most relaxing and comfortable stay.
It was hotter than the sun in the rooms. No windows to open, 3 fans in the room But only 1 worked, bathroom smelt like mouldy water and sewage, bed was like wriggling around on a water bed so sleep was very difficult as kept almost rolling out of the bed. Would not stay here again which is a shame as location and food etc was fabulous. Breakfast was great. Things to do in the area great but would not stay here again unfortunately
The receptionist was very nice with checking me in and checking me out the breakfast was absolutely delicious I don't know the name of the woman that served us breakfast but she was a very lovely lady the only thing I disliked was I had asked the woman who is a receptionist in the morning around 10.30 am if I can have room service as I am going out she said she will sort it out I thanked her I come back to the hotel around 2.30 I expected my room to be clean it wasn't the room service lady came at 2.30 but she was so lovely and polite and said she doesn't mind if we stay in the room while she does the cleaning the view was lovely and all the other amenities too the room has a window but you can't open the window the AC was not working and the fan in our room was not giving cold air
Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was comfortable and spacious but the walls (?!) were very dusty and there was a lot of chipped paint.
Worst hotel
Well the A/C didn’t work and it was so hot in the room, we decorated the room with Confetti and balloons for my gf birthday, we ask about the A/C and was told sorry no Maintenance workings back till Monday and the whole A/C was not working any rooms the attitude of the reception was poor and then they charged me £50 for cleaning the room, this hotel is a joke and no parking, never stay here
Little did we know that the function room was above our room. The noise from above started from about 4PM to 2AM i the morning. The music and stamping was unbearable load which meant the room was unusable for relaxation or sleep. Ruined what could have been a nice weekend break.
The bed was so comfortable. More spacious in the room. Breakfast was ok. Although there was a lot of stains on the carpet . Also during breakfast the option i chose i was told there was no vegetarian sausages as they didnt get their order and prior to coming for breakfast a lady asked if we paying or if its already paid as its expensive to eat at Marco Pierre found it rude. Then the fire alarm rang was escorted towards the stairs to find they was locked. The lift were still working then a member of staff came and said it was a false alarm.
It was nice in room. Needs a bit of work, mould in bathroom. The hotel corridors didnt smell nice, it was like sewage. Overall had a enjoyable stay.
Best of a bad bunch. Worth reading below
I like this hotel because of it's location. However it's getting dated. Clean but chipped furniture etc. The hallways and rooms tend to be very hot and the AC isn't good. Which is why I now book a room with a balcony so I can get fresh air. Other rooms don't have opening windows. They do provide fans. My last stay had 3 fans in the room so that's rather telling. The MPW restaurant on the top floor is good, although the last time they overcooked my steak. Didn't send back as don't like food waste but they did add a discount when I told them. It's fine. But I think the mal Maison next door is stiff competition
Good location lots of restaurants and bars. Also Everyman cinema. The room was modern but had no air conditioning and was very hot all night even with 2 fans. Additional charge for breakfast which was ok for what we received. Overall felt overpriced with having to pay for breakfast and parking. Would have liked a discount for no air conditioning.
Good Morning, I am waiting on a refund on my room rate for last nightl at the cube, the heat was unbearable as the air conditioning was broken. I had to check into the AC Marriott next door. Please can you provide an update? Many Thanks Richard Riscatti
Air conditioning didn’t work in the room and it was too hot
Beautiful treat for my daughters birthday
A great city centre anniversary break
We stayed one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Check in went very smoothly and when we mentioned it was our anniversary we each received vouchers for a complementary drink which was a very nice touch. The room and bed were very comfortable with a view of the city and a large shower cubicle in the bathroom. The only minor minus was the absence of any complementary biscuits. The hotel is in the city centre and so we were able to walk around the centre in the early evening taking in the atmosphere. Both the set evening meal and breakfast were very good sitting at tables with city views and excellent service. We did have to pay £5 more each for the evening window table but as it was our anniversary it was well worth it.
There is no air conditioning in the rooms – they are ridiculously hot…!! The hotel is designed with no opening windows and the room cooling is essentially disabled. This has obviously been an issue for some time as all the rooms have desk fans, but are unbearable to sleep in. No exaggeration 40 degrees. Read the room description carefully and avoid. Not the fault of the staff on the desk, but they are fobbing people off with a story about resetting the system. Breakfast in Marco Pierre White restaurant was superb.
I’m not happy at all when we get to reception the fist thing she ask is when I’m due which I’m not pregnant, Then to be told there’s not spa which dose say on the website it dose. The room was stained on the floor the towels and hair all ova the bathroom tiles. We got woken up to the fire alarm going off to rush out to find it was a files alarm so we ask a member off staff he just laughed in our face I would never stay hear again
Stay was brilliant bar the air conditioning being broken and the room quite warm.
Lovely area but rooms are awful
Arrived and checked in ok. Went to the room and found the most pungent eye watering smell of sewage and rotten eggs in the room. Also tried to get the air on to work but it seemed to be on and noisy but no air coming out. The fact that there was already a fan in the room says that the hotel is fully aware. I had to flush the shower and sink for a while to get rid of the smell. Windows don’t open so essentially it was like a sauna. Had a number of cold showers to simply cool off. Reported it downstairs as I went out and the guy on the desk said he would reset the aircon. When I returned later that night I found no change. Slept above the sheets sweating all night. Oh, and the smell was back. In the mornings my daughter was gagging just trying to shower and clean her teeth. Mentioned the issues again on check out but no real acknowledgement of interest. Looking at the reviews it is obvious that the smell and broken aircon is a running theme that the hotel is not interested in fixing. Lovely location and great amenities around but hotel rooms are disgusting and in a poor state of repair.
Very disappointing
Paid £300 for a balcony room, no air conditioning on a very hot day! When we asked about it they said some rooms it was broken in? Private party in terrace which meant most of the area was sectioned off, party was above our room and very loud until 12pm. Breakfast was very average, not a lot of choice on buffet, cooked breakfast was fine. Marks on carpet and curtains, very disappointing stayed in much better hotels for half the price. Will not stay there again.
Great location - air con unadjustable. Bed broken
Great location, however air con couldn’t be adjusted and bed was broken.
Faulty air conditioning
Room itself was fabulous, however the air conditioning was faulty meaning the room was suffocatingly hot! I complained to reception who said they could sort it manually. This wasn’t done. I complained again to reception, who again said they would sort it out. When we returned to the hotel after attending a concert 7 hours later the AC still wasn’t working. Another guest had the same issue. Complained again and again nothing was done about it. There was no way of opening a window, so spent the night with only a fan for relief. I complained to the duty manager in the morning who gave us a 25% refund, however I got the impression she didn’t really believe me. It could have been such a different experience, as the room was lovely. We will not stay again
The air conditioning system was broken in all hotel bedrooms, so the request to move to an alternative room was not an option. A standing fan had been placed in the bedroom and operational upon arrival, but being a hot day 29C, it was not helping the situation. I felt the Reception staff should have advised upon Check-in of the problem, and what was being done to resolve. At 11:30pm I requested an additional fan, which was promptly provided. Hotel restaurant on 25th floor had amazing views of the city, and food and beverages were excellent for dinner and breakfast.
A room or a Sauna?
24th floor room has broken air conditioning, windows didnt open, and was not just hot, on one of the hottest days of the year the heat was unbearable. I knew I wouldnt sleep a wink and so managed to get a refund and change hotels, but the only tariff I could find close by was just short of £300. This room wasnt fit for human habitation.
The staff are very nice and friendly. Happy to help. The room didn't have AC or it doesn't work. It was like a sauna, felt so horrid being in there. The bathroom was a bit dirty with rust all over the towel racks not nice leaving towels on there. Bathroom was also extremely hot with no ventilation a real sauna temp in there. Overall it was an uncomfortable stay and with no ventilation or AC the heating was unbearable.
The views from the property over Birmingham are great however the hotels rooms are despicable. The first room we were given a balcony suite 2306, the room was old and curtains etc tatty. Carpets worn and dated. The balcony door handle fell off and the room smelled of sewerage. However the air conditioning seemed to work as the room was lovely and cool. We requested a new room obviously and were moved to balcony suite 2404. Directly under the roof terrace smoking area. We had no privacy and it was loud. The room again was tatty all over much the same as 2306 but generally in better condition. We wished we had stayed in the first room. The sewer smells were gut wrenching. We were literally spewing whilst brushing our teeth. To top it all off the Air Conditioning pumped out continuous hot air and the bed was broken and felt like a water bed and had no support, we had very little sleep. When we checked out I waited to be asked how my stay was by the young lady and she didn’t bother to ask so I decided to save my feedback for this review. So disappointed and we won’t return.
Arrived at reception on Friday 23rd June 2024 around 5pm where I was not politely greeted my a dark brown guy with glasses. Didn’t tell me his name however had a bad experience with him when I asked him to upgrade me to a better floor which was 24th floor & I also told him I don’t mind paying extra. He then was very rude and start stating the obvious saying the hotel is already on the high floor I told him I stayed here previously and I know the hotels high floors are 23 & 24 but I want a room on 24 & I don’t mind paying extra. He then went got another colleague which was a lady he took her behind the room of reception and told her not to give me a better room as I could tell the way they made me feel discomfortable in the attitude and body language. I then dealt with the lady who was obviously going to talk to me like I’m a school kid so then I started recording her. She than finally upgrades my room to 24th floor but the room had no Air conditioning working & it was like 26 degrees temperature outside. Overall a bad experience and would never recommend anyone to come here they treat u like trash
Air conditioning was noisy, even when turned off
The air condition was not working and this was well aware as there were two fans in the room working continuously as I walked in. The temperature in the room was 30C. They could not transfer me to another room and they offered either to refund me completely and leave the hotel or refund half of the fees as compensation.
Great location for events at Utilita arena
Comfortable stay with a good breakfast in the deal I booked. Having stayed at the Cube before we knew what to expect. Snacks in the room no longer part of the deal. I would say the rooms need an update starting to look tired now especially when new hotel have opened in Birmingham , so unfortunately this will not be our first choice.
Not awful but wouldn't stay again
Pros - great location and view from room. Large clean room and bathroom. Cons - hot room (could hear the fan whirring but no cool air from the air conditioning). Bed was so soft it was uncomfortable. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on food or service (handed a bit of paper on check in saying no hot breakfast due to equipment issues).
Awful Room
Awful no air con working, room was so hot and unable to breathe in there, politely mentioning to reception who shrugged her shoulders and did not get back to us Unable to sleep in this room, pillows hard, bed awful
We stayed there after a while. The room has the squeakiest bed and the paint on the walls was peeling. The phone was disconnected and didn't work, so if we needed reception we had to walk down every time, not ideal. Out sink was also blocked. Staff member was nice as it wasn't personally her fault. Left after 2 hours and got a refund. Will never ever stay again.
This is most definatley not a boutique hotel, needs a good luck of paint, and quite dirty. Breakfast was also poor. We wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it at that price point
The building itself is interesting and has great views .
Slightly odd and disappointing
No staff to be seen on arrival, a strange smell in my bathroom, faded / old fashioned decor. Overall a slightly strange stay. Excellent breakfast and bar though
Nice hotel but rooms looking tired
Great location and views across the city, welcoming and friendly staff but the hotel is in need of a refurbishment. The rooms especially are looking very tired with wear marks on seating, handles falling off furniture and the bathroom looking grubby and in need of replacing. Mattress also felt very soft and well beyond its best. Disappointing condition of hotel for the cost of stay.
Cube in Birmingham
Nice weekend away inn Birmingham and hotel was amazing
Christmas weekend trip
Been staying at this hotel for 6 years..never fails to impress.. hotel and staff.. the best..
Gone down hill
Hotel has definitely gone down hill since our last stay 2 years ago. Cracked tiles in bathroom, hard pillows and cold room. Very poor service in restaurant, waiting an hour between courses and having to go to the bar for our own drinks! Will not be staying again
Lovely stay at the cube. The rooftop bar was fantastic! Slightly noisy Saturday night with people coming back quite late but this was nothing major!
feedback
the room was not as clean as would like.. the carpets were covered in stains, the windows were all dirty and the floors were too. the shower knob was not working fully whilst turned to operate the shower. the noise from the bowling alley was not the best when got back to the hotel room. the breakfast was mediocre the lift kept sticking and when mentioned to a member of staff on reception just said no one else has reported any issues so should be fine!!
super friendly and helpful staff beautiful views but tired and dirty decore
Disappointing
Rooms were not ready by 3. Carpets stained in some areas, strange smell in bathrooms. Air conditioning not working in some of the rooms. Great location, but service and quality of room, not worth the price.
Very tied and not worth the money
We a deluxe room with an awesome balcony, room was very tied, cracks in the sink and floor tiles, carpets were filthy and nets hanging off the rails, also long dark hairs on the floor. I travel a lot for work and this is way below expectations.
This Hotel is absolutely beautiful. The room I stayed in was amazing. They thought of everything someone staying there might need. There was a fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, and even towelled dressing gowns. I have never stayed anywhere like this before, and if I visit Birmingham again, I will definitely be booking The Cube!
Work away
Two night stay, not exactly what you would expect from this hotel the general condition was tiered carpet’s dirty in heavily traffic Rd areas stains on bedroom carpet generally need’s refurbishment.
Ideally located city centre hotel for solo business traveller with business at the ICC / Centenary Sq or IET Austin Court areas.
Everything went well. The position of this hotel is great, by a lovely canal with lots of good bars and restaurants.
Great hotel in a great location.
Lovely stay
Hotel was lovely, lady on reception was nice and welcoming . The room was nice ,we didnt have a great view but we only had a standard double room, the lamp didnt work and theres not much lighting in the room, could do with a main light ,there was also red stain on the carpet but apart from them the roomwad nice ,bed comfortable, had a great sleep . We went to floor 25 ,to the bar and enjoyed marco pierre steakhouse . Paying for a window sit is highly recommended
Great view from our room, really good location.
Ideal location & beautiful hotel
The hotel is in an ideal location next to plenty of lovely bars and restaurants next to the canal. The rooftop bar is a must. It was lovely at night with outdoor heaters and blankets. Views were amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice. The shower was amazing with luxurious Elemis products. Highly recommend this hotel. On a 5 minute walk from the station and easy to find.
Good location and great views (especially the sunrise!). A few niggles like lights not all working etc.
Disappointed
Me and my partner were very disappointed with the noise from level above during our stay. We was expecting it to be so loud and until late. Either of us didn’t sleep much because of this reason. Room was nice and modern and shower was good on the bright side. For what we paid we would have expected better. We will not stay here again or recommend for anybody else.
From the moment we enteted the property the welcome from the staff was warm, welcoming and friendly. Our room on the 24th floor was clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows, we slept very well indeed. Our stay was due to a gift of afternoon tea for our recent wedding which was absolutely gorgeous in the restaurant on the top floor, the views across the city were outstanding, keeping the subject of food and restaurant, we had the full Englush breakfast, you will not eat for the remainder of the day, there is plenty of it. The staff are attentive ensuring you have all you need. As part of our stay we'd incorporated a trip to Edgebaston for The Hundred Cricket, the lovely lady on reception ordered a taxi for us, which arrived in minutes. The only negative is that the website states car parking ticket is valudated for a reduced rate, its not. Overall we thorougy enjoyed our stay, we highly recommend and will definitely stay again, thank you all for a thoroughly enjoyable visit.
.
Decent place to stay not the best
Room was very tired, marks on the carpet that they obviously couldn’t get out, water and mould stains on the curtains, mould in the shower, TV didn’t work, some lights didn’t work.
It was amazing ! The room was on the very high floor and we have a panoramic view of the city centre of Birmingham. Unfortunately, the Grohe water tap in the shower room was difficult to manage.
Great hotel
Fantastic views over the city and the rooftop bar was the icing on the cake.
Not a good experience I’m afraid. Tired looking room with aircon defective, broken mattress and a Tv remote that only partially worked.
The room was dirty, we found petals on the floor and it smelt. The curtain was all ripped. We paid for the balcony but it hasn’t been thought through in regards to bad weather. There was no kind length mirror.
Can i have my money back?
No aircon, Bathroom smelled disgusting, Faulty lift, Bed falling apart, no tv remote. Breakfast ok.
Whilst the rooms were clean and lovely. There was an issue with the air conditioning system which I was informed of at 2am on the day I was due to arrive. As we were in a relatively large party there was no other suitable hotels available in the vacinity that could accommodate us at such short notice.
All staff were friendly & helpful. Room was comfortable & clean. Nice Elemis products to use for your stay too.
Most of the rooms had no aircon. I was lucky enough to have aircon but my 2 colleagues didn’t. Weren’t told until we arrived
Amazing stay!
Always love staying at the cube. The restaurant is amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Allocated a room that had people in ! Room dusty and dirty round edges. Rooms tired, cracked tiles, damaged wood. Huge head on shower, not powerful.
The heating wasnt working, when reported to reception they couldn't offer another room or a heater. They recommended another hotel, it was too late for us to do that. The shower plug was blocked, reulting in the tray fillingcabd overflowing onto the bathroom floor
