Good stay

Front desk was awesome. Super polite and helpful. Great location and cost. Cleaners didn't clean my room once or provide new towels,etc. during my entire stay. Would still consider staying again but will communicate better about that with the front desk on a longer stay if it happens again.

Lovely stay at Crystal Beach Hotel

Another great stay at Crystal Beach. All the staff are so friendly and helpful from the front desk staff to housekeeping staff who service the rooms. Lovely little pool on the rooftop which is great too. Definitely look forward to my next visit.

Simple done right

I stayed at the Crystal Beach Hotel January 26 - February 2, 2025 with three friends. We each reserved rooms 4 months in advance. Upon arriving our check in went really smooth and we got to our rooms quickly. There is an elevator available at this hotel. The rooms were good size. The bed was comfortable. The room had a safe and a mini refrigerator. The location was great Just a couple hundred yards from the beach and far enough away from Bangala Road so you could not hear the nightly music. Plenty of restaurants and shopping right near the hotel. . What made our stay extra special was the Crystal Beach Hotel staff. AMAZING So friendly, helpful and kind. Shout out to the receptionist Pui at the front desk. She was so helpful with planning our many excursions. She remembered our names and always made sure to keep us smiling and laughing. Also the room cleaning crew. What a great job they did everyday for us. All in all just a complete top notch staff. . If you are looking for a sure thing hotel in Patong, I highly recommend Crystal Beach Hotel. . .

The Staff were Excellent, They were very accommodating, and literally fun to work with. Pui helped us immensely, with our Tourism needs, even providing us with any available discounts with the Bangla Boxing events and the Boat Ride to the Phi Phi islands. She was so entertaining to converse with and so fun! These accommodations helped our Phuket Thailand experience be such a memorable one. We shall return !

Central to shopping area and from the beach. Perfect location

I left after 15 minutes and am still waiting for a refund. The hotel felt very unsafe and the wall behind the bed was covered in mould. The balcony door didn’t lock. No washing machine as advertised. I want my money back

Great place

Great place and location. Would stay again. Convenient motorbike rental shop in the lobby and next door there’s a quick laundry service. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Great staff. The only minor issue we faced was that the bathroom sink plumbing did not have hot water line, thus the quality of my shaving was a bit compromised. I just took hot water from the shower. Given the price point, it was a great deal. The Marriott courtyard where we hung out, is just about a 7 minute walk away with a very talented band playing audience requests.

Nice pool hotel even if I never used. Beach is very close walking like 3min. Close to everything. There was some construction infront the hotel so it was noisy early in the morning. But at night not noise at all. Nice staff, guess friendly for solo travellers ;) nice place to stay.

This hotel is super clean…the area is centrally located in Patong Beach….rates ere amazingly good given the excellent condition and service of this hotel….Super friendly staff bent frontwards and backwards to make my stay truly comfortable…housekeeping staff by the name of shy is truly a gem of this place….it was my first time but it won’t be my last staying at this place….

If you looking for nice view out its not the place otherwise my wife and I loved everything else for a budget stay and going back there in couple weeks.

Simple but functional place.

Place is basic but clean and functional. Had a working safe which is always good. Aircon turns off when not in the room. Only negative is right now there construction going on next door which can be irritating early in the morning

Great value, awesome location

The location for the price is great and the rooms were very clean. Because with rooms on the ally side since the AC unit is set on the balcony and constantly blows hot air making it a little warm.

Avoid! Avoid! Hotel booking are non-refundable. Room got ants. Had to call reception every time I need to open the safe box, terrible breakfast, not a pleasent experience at sll till a limit I had to checkout 3 days earlier and booked onother hotel to enjoy my stay in a better hotel

If you want basic stop here

Hotel was very basic and obviously run on a shoestring. Asked for extra pillows- not got spares. Room was clean but had a balcony with only one chair, no bed side lights and no sitting chairs. If you were in the room you either were on the bed or in the bathroom. We didn’t eat in the hotel at all so cannot comment. The maid and night desk chap were very friendly. Other staff could be surly and unhelpful

Roof top pool a bonus!

This hotel is in a great location. It is clean and has an elevator. The room is more the suitable. I really enjoyed the roof top pool. We opted out of the breakfast it simply looked average. The wifi was great. The front staff so so, no friendly greetings or additional service. One mid morning we were off to the beach and they had no beach towels, not even offering I’m sorry or 10 minutes simply no towel??? I would return to this hotel.

Gem near Patong beach with rooftop pool

Excellent service, staff will make sure you're well taken care of. Must be a new hotel, taxi had a bit of a difficulty finding it. Checked in at 2am, no issues there. I booked a standard room, however the electric wires from the balcony were almost hanging in (3rd floor, 6 floors total) so I've upgraded for 300baht/night. Well worth it. Location is great, it's a 5 mins walk equally to Patong beach, Bangla Road and Jungceylon mall. Absolutely zero noise. Rooftop pool is clean, quite a beautiful sunset view. Spacious room with balcony however all you have is 1 chair outside which was filthy in both rooms. Didn't use lobby much so can't comment on food or drinks inside the hotel l, but I did book my trip to Phi Phi with them and that was great.

Awesome central location close to all amenities.

I have stayed at this Hotel on numerous occasions and what makes this hotel the best is the staff. They are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Their happy smiling faces and knowing your belongings are safe and secure at all times complete a fantastic holiday experience.

Relaxation trip

This hotel was good. Room are spacious and not too cramp. About 5 mins walk to the beach and 10 mins to jungceylon shopping centre. Overall was a good hotel to stay. Just a feedback that the toiletries finished, it will be good that the staff will be alerted to help to refill.

Good location

Good location in a busy area. Phuket it’s perfect for party but is expensive as well if you compare with other locations in Thailand. This hotel covers what you need, is close to the beach and Bangla Walking Street. I like the room because it was clean, spacious, quiet and good mattress that it’s not easy to find.

The Crystal Beach

This is a budget hotel that provides great value for what you pay. I stayed during low season and got a great price You definitely get your moneys worth from this hotel; there is a rooftop pool but no gym. Hotel is located on small Soi about a 10 minute walk to Bangla road or 5 minutes to the Hard Rock. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as a couple of bars right outside your door. Only possible downside (not to me) is the massage girls will give you their usual spiel everytime you walk by, personally I enjoy the friendly banter with them

Ok For 3 days would not have liked to stay longer ,beds so hard no coffee in rooms on arrival Asked about breakfast,told we dont have breakfasts,then we found out last day we could actually buy it there,the welcome card was not very well put together with hotel information office staff were lovely,but some were a bit hard to understand close to city life Pool was god sent at the end of hot day

This hotel looks better in the pictures than how really is. Not very clean but in a very good location. That's the only plus!

Stayed in the hotel on 2 occasions and the staff were very friendly that they recognized us! They were very helpful and friendly. The room itself was clean and pretty much had everything you needed to stay in patong which is pretty much sleep and be out all day. Would comeback here when I come back to patong.

Decent and comfortable hotel

Nice hotel which is about a 7 minute walk to the beach. There are restaurants, shops and some massage places nearby. Not too far of a walk to the more busier area like Bangla road.

Noisy uncomfortable room

Overal good value. Large room, excellent service, very very friendly. Rooftop pool not that big but didn't use it much. Large towels available for either the pool or the beach. Smallish balcony, but didn't really need it. 8-10 easy stroll to beach, less to many stores and restaraunts. Okay breakfast, but same, same every day; a little variety would be great. Good bargain, would definitely stay there again.

Great place for a great price!

The staff were really kind and friendly. There was a roach in our room the first night, we were too tired to care so we fell asleep. The next morning when I found the little creeper still in our room, so when we went down for breakfast, I informed the lovely lady at the front reception and she said she'd send someone up to check on it but I doubt she did because it was still there when we went back up after breakfast. We managed to get rid of it on our own, so it was fine at the end of the day. The breakfast was average, juice/tea/water, toast, eggs, pancakes, etc. It is really central to everything. Both Jungceylon and the beach are a few minutes walk. If you wanted to catch a bus to Phuket town, there's one that goes through the beach road. There are quite a lot of happening in the surroundings at all times. There so many restaurants, bars, street stalls, massages places (there are two massage places right outside the hotel and I'm pretty sure they're the happy ending kinda places :P) Tip: if you're buying stuff or getting massages, get them outside of Phuket, it's cheaper! I love and crave the loudness, the vibrant liveliness, the business. Therefore, this hotel was perfectly located for me. It's very loud, vibrant and lively at night. The music from the bars and clubs around go on into the early hours of the next morning. Wifi was good. Complimentary water. We got the hotel to sort out our taxi to the airport and we left Phuket without too much hassle

Cozy and Pleasant

Comfortable stay, the hotel is close to the beach and shops around, can be reach by walking distance. Room are cozy and the facilities are pretty well maintained. Hotel staff are very helpful with my query as well. reasonable price and worth the stay.

Fantastic staff and services

Absolutely fantastic staff and service, awesome air conditioning all located within the heart of the action close to restaurants, the beach and a short stroll to the shopping centre. Did I mention the amazing staff?

Value For Money

Even though it isn't as near Jungceylon as seen in map, it is still within decent walking distance (about 800m walk maybe?). The hotel looks new, or well maintained. Even though my room (balcony) was on Level 2 and facing the road, I was surprised it's quiet due to the double glaced window that kept the noise out. Would love to stay there again. I wasn't expecting much given the affordable price, but it turned out better than expected.

About 5min to the beacb and 10min to the big mall and night market in Patong. Great hotel for people into the action at Patong. Not good for family and couple.

Recommendation for Crystal Beach hotel

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is new so the design is modern. The room was very clean, TV with English news programs, good shower. We chose a room to the back so it was quiet. The location is very good- close to night life, beach, ten minute walk to the Jungceylon mall. The salt water pool on the roof is very relaxing and a great bonus. We rented a motor bike next door. We had to hand in our passport during the rental period but there were no problems. The staff was helpful. They arranged for the taxi to the airport which cost us 800 Baht. There is a really nice restaurant at the end of the rode- Two Chefs- which had really nice live music. The hotel is close to the Hard Rock cafe. Note- there are many massage places around the hotel but they looked a bit inappropriate to us. Instead we went to a place on the main road around the corner called Bali Hai (Pink decorations) which was excellent. Overall we would recommend this place to anyone

Clean. Contemporary. Comfortable.

Contemporary, comfortable and clean hotel in the middle of very busy Patong Beach. Great value for the money. Breakfast was more than adequate, included fried eggs and small premade omelettes.Rooftop pool better than most, pleasant to use. Night manager rather harsh in explaining rules, seems he expected the worst from us in terms of partying, girls up in the room, etc; we gave him no cause! We did have some trouble with our minivan and then a cab finding this place - we were first dropped at Crystal Inn in Phuket town.

Nice hotel

Crystal beach is a nice hotel in a good location. Pros - clean room, pool on the roof (with a nice view), breakfast was OK (nothing special but fine for few mornings), friendly staff. Cons - there is a menu on the roof which offers an opportunity to order cocktails next to the pool, but if we wanted to do that, they said they do not have this service anymore.

Refreshingly Cool Room Close To Beach

First off this hotel is not located where Expedia or Google says it is. It's actually in a better location near Patong Beach Resort. Don't worry your bus or taxi driver knows where it is and will take you to the correct location. Besides that the hotel room is great. The AC unit is super strong and will cool you down quickly from the outside heat. The room is spacious and the bed is comfy. Nice TV with plenty of channels, a fridge, and in room safe. I felt very safe staying here. Also, the pool has a great view of the surrounding area.

Great room, basic and clean.

Room was perfect for what we needed. Close to town, sometimes a bit noisy but as expected as we were T the front of the hotel. clean room with decent bathroom. No problems except one issue using the safety deposit box which was our error which reception promptly resolved. Aircon worked well!!

good hotel very close to everything ,,didnt like the day we checked out the guy on the duty checked the room and starting asking us about the old ink stain which was on the bedsheet..he said it was done by us very annoying .they should be checking the bedsheets before putting them on the bed .

Great Hotel spacially for the price

Hotel was fabulous,staff friendly and willing to help with anything. Brekky was basic but well worth it, i am going back next year and will be using this hotel again,was clean and reasonably new. Had 14 days of absolute fun...specially for an oldie, shopping,sightseeing, all the boys stuff.

Great modern simple hotel

We had stayed at a resort in Kamala for a few nights but wanted to stay closer to the action in Patong. The Crystal Beach was great. The room was very clean, wifi was fast, the staff was very friendly. It is not a 5 star hotel, but it was new, chic, right in the mix, but not overly loud and just what we were looking for.

Saubere Zimmer, alles was mann braucht in unmittelbarer Umgebung, gute aussicht vom Dach und pool ist ganz angenehm. Kleiner balkon, und der roomservice vergass öfter was aber war nicht so tragisch. Der beste seriöse massage Saloon von patong, diwa, befindet sich direkt neben dem hotel.
