We stayed in the room in the basement which is next to a vent of some sort. Was super noisy at all times and kept us awake!
Just disappointed we couldn’t assess the building with the door swipe then our room. After a wonderful evening in Hyde park.
I’ve been to London a couple of times, and this was by far the quietest hotel I’ve stayed at during my visit. The rooms were updated and fresh& very clean. The staff were friendly & provided exceptional service. Highly recommend! parking can be a bit of a challenge if you’re driving, so look into that before your arrival & you should be G2G!
Upon arrival my family had an issue that Fav, the front clerk, immediately assisted in helping us resolve. She alone would make me want to stay there again. Beyond that our room was really nice and our bed was so comfortable!!
One night Stay
The lady on Reception was lovely. The only issue we had was we were located on the top floor (7th floor) with two suitcases each and Concierge was on a break. Room was very quiet and clean, with Molton Brown toiletries. Comfortable bed. There was only one fire escape which was down the main staircase, hence a no-smoking hotel. Good location for Paddington station/Heathrow Express, just a few minutes walk. No amenities but bakery/restaurants/coffee shops within easy distance.
Nice room, good location, odd service / amenities
Hotel room was clean, and a close walk to the train station. Front desk was not manned all the time - had to cross the road to a different hotel for service, which made checking in not a very seamless process. There are no lifts in the hotel, but they do have staff to help with the bags. Room is old - laminate was chipping off the table - but it was clean.
Clean and cozy
Clean and well furnished room, service at reception was efficient and courteous, overall a good stay and would happily recommend
Just a short walk from Paddington Sta and Kensington Park. It was perfect in every way!
Fantastic hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Room was lovely and a really good size. Bit noisy due to traffic but ear plugs worked well. Would def stay again
Wonder gem of a hotel!
Our stay at this boutique hotel was fantastic! The room, while small, is equipped with everything you need. The shower was perfect after a long day of travel. The Molton Brown amenities were an added bonus. And the location cannot be beat. We can recommend the restaurant down the block - The Taste of India, as well as the pub across from Hyde Park, The Swan, as well as the Cleveland Arms. We would absolutely stay here again!
Hyde Park Cresent Hotel
Lovely hotel, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was stunning, the stairway and rooms are really nice. The complimentary things in the room was a lovely extra. The only thing I would say is the windows seem to be single glazed and there doesn’t seem to be any sound proofing so you can hear other rooms / lots of noises outside, I would recommend the hotel and would stay here again despite that.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Very, very small bathroom.
Good base for central London
I always have good service at this hotel. Rooms are small but well equipped. Everything you need for a short stay close to town.
A
A very unique building but not for 70 year old. I was grateful i was able to change room to 1st floor. Ordering a taxi was not convenient Going from building to building in the rain in the evening wasn't helpful at all. I used an Uber service.
Friendly staff and easy to walk to from Paddington Station.
Worth it
Great value for money and a good location
All good.
Room was very comfortable but the 3 double flights of stairs was daunting. Fortunately staff assisted with our luggage. Serviced from another hotel. However we enjoyed our stay.
Everything was great.
Small room no lift would not go there again
Very clean and comfortable. The only potential issue is that there was no lift. Be happy to stay there again.
Cute hotel with great location!
Very nice hotel and a great location! Close to Hyde park, Paddington station, buses etc. Quiet street but still local pubs around. There is no food served in the actual hotel. Be aware most pubs in London stop serving food around 9pm so plan accordingly. My only complaint for this hotel is the insanely tiny bathroom sink lol. Water splashes everywhere when you wash your face. Other than that it’s a great hotel! We would stay again. We had a balcony but the door was bolted so exit onto it was not possible. I assume it was just an ornamental balcony. We had a mini fridge in room.
The photos are not accurate. One would think that this is a large grand hotel. In truth, this is a small hotel with a limited number of rooms. I would have rather the advert be honest and say that it was a small unique location with comfortable rooms in a great location. The quad room is 2 twin beds and a sleeper couch. They were all very comfortable, but you must navigate a flight of stairs to the lower level (no elevator). This may not be the best fit for international travelers with large suitcases-we really struggled to get ours up and down the stairs. They have a great coffee offering in-room. The bathrooms were clean and very roomy. There are many restaurants and bakeries around the block. This seems like a safe neighborhood, but as always be aware of your surroundings.
Great hotel. Lovely clean room, small though. Excellent location. The gentleman I spoke to on reception to see if our room was ready was really polite and helpful. Also, no problem to leave your luggage when you check out and collect later. Thank you.
I stayed here one night as I had an 18h layover in London. My room was small, but clean and comfortable. It was perfect for my stay. The hotel is close to Paddington station and close to many monuments should you feel like visiting London on a tight schedule. In my 3h walk from the hotel and back, I had the time to see the Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. Rooms might be too small to be comfortable for an extended stay, but for a couple of days, I definitely recommend this hotel.
hotel was perfect for what it was -- clean and staff pleasant -- thanks again
Great little boutique hotel
Great little boutique hotel - it’s really room-only - no other facilities - but chic & clean
Basic service at a premium price
Stayed on the hottest night of the year and the air conditioning was locked to prevent you from turning it down which made the room extremely uncomfortable- reception however was being kept nice and cool. No lift available. No one available at check out and you had to use your room key card to leave the hotel - they was no clear sign as to where to leave the card. There was a lot of shouting from an adjacent room and when I called reception I was told that no one was available to come and speak to them. Overall a basic service set at a premium price.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Have to lift heavy luggage by ourselves to third floor without any help. Front desk girl was mediocre in giving any help. Room is extremely small. In all, the worst hotel ever for us when we stayed in London. We were there for at least 20 times and we won’t go back to this hotel for sure.
Great location, simple but comfortable room.
Excellent location next to Hyde Park and within close walking distance from several tube stations, Kensington Palace, Notting Hill, and other destinations. Safe for walking at night for two women alone. Accommodation was basic but comfortable. No lift, but we didn't mind as we only had small bags. Our room strangely did not have toilet paper in it, which we didn't realize until after hours. There is no attendant at the front desk in the evenings, so someone has to come from the Westbourne across the street to assist- definitely check to make sure you have everything you need when you first get in. We paid 84GBP for 1 night, which was a good deal for our quick London trip, would stay again in a similar situation.
No elevator and no staff available to help with the bags. Hotel receptionist not available at night time.
Good
Very clean updated modern rooms, the shower was nothing short of spectacular and the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Our bed was comfy but the pillows were not the best!! Room is small but not as tiny as some of the hotels in the area we were in the westbourne which is sister hotel of crescent it’s a lot nicer than the crescent. Happy with our stay would stay again!
Very poor hotel for the money
Very poor Hotel first things first we booked with hotels .com and should have breakfast included this was not the case the hotel does not even have a Kitchen so had to eat out so taken in the extra cost this place is way over priced......Now the bad points the hotel is dirty very dirty bed sheets had hairs on them and where stained the carpet also stained see photos..we only stopped two nights so just on with it...Then the room was very very small infact so small you can`t open the bathroom door fully as it touches the bed
Lovey stay!
The staff were extremely accommodating, the hotel was situated perfectly for everything we had planned. Rooms were clean, we had a lovey stay at the Crescent!
The room was very comfy if a bit small. The bathroom toilet was a bit cramped. There were some cracks in the paint on one of the walls and some pink stains on the carpet but other than that was all very clean. Bear in mind if you’re on the 4th floor it’s a long walk up as no lift.
The Crescent Hyde Park
used as a stop over before returning home Friendly staff and very convenient
Great location, 5 mins walk Paddington.
Perfect!!
Perfect location for Hyde park. Immaculate room. Small but ideal. Lady on the desk was lovely.
Friendly staffveey welcoming . Room vlean and quiet. Would stay here again
Crescent Hyde Park
Similar standard to a Holiday Inn in respect to cleanliness although there was no bar or lounge the sister hotel across the road did have a bar and seating area but it appeared to be closed. Thought it was a bit over priced
Very clean and great service. Comfortable bed. Walking distance to Hyde Park and Paddington Station. Bathroom was clean but quite small: tiny sink and a very compact shower were not ideal for someone over 6 foot.
Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel! Well renovated rooms, comfortable beds, great location- strongly recommend!
Clean, Comfortable but no Lift
Location - near subway and Hyde Park Hotel - Clean but there is no lift. So, if upper floor is a concern to bring the luggage bags.
Beautiful hotel, great service
They have a sister hotel accross the street which is also lovely. They were really helpful and upgraded our room for free! Room was beautiful, modern, clean and facilities were great. Best hotel we ever stayed in! Great value for money
Great hotel, small but perfectly formed
Fantastic value central London accomodation. If you don’t no space in your room (this is how they make it cheaper) then it is a great bed for a few nights. Will be coming again!
The staff are incredible and they had a power cut saturday for hours but the staff made me feel safe and relaxed by offering refreshments and keeping me updated on power something you dont get at other hotels. This is the best hotel in London far better than the sky high priced 5 star hotels this has it all a fridge a good sized room a great bed air con whst more can yiu ask for? The staff are a truly wonderful lot.
Excellent - clean and tidy; efficient friendly staff
Very clean and comfortable. 5 minutes walk from 2 tube stations. Close to Paddington station. The proper looked newly renovated. The nespresso machine was an added bonus! Would use again when staying in London.
Great little Hotel
Beautiful hotel, so much more than we expected. Would highly recommend
All good with this hotel. Small boutique hotel but good location near Hyde Park
Amazing
Everything was so perfect, the staff, location, the room and the value of the money
I got much more than I paid for in terms of the standard of the room. I'd booked a 'Compact' room so it was as small as expected, but the quality was great. It felt like a room in a good standard business hotel with less floor space. This will be my go-to if I need a room in Paddington now.
Good value. Good location for my destination. Clues to railway station.
The property is completely remodeled and our room looked brand new. The bed was comfortable. There was good water pressure in the shower. There was a mini-fridge and hair dryer. We booked a compact room and I found it to be spacious for a small room. It was walking distance to Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Oxford Street, and Notting Hill. There were several underground stations nearby - Lancaster Gate is a 2 minute walk away. The staff was very friendly and helpful - the nicest people I encountered in London!
Very modern property. Very clean. Excellent staff. Very loud. Windows need triple glazing. You can hear the traffic in your room.
This was a great place to stay in London. It is an easy walk to Kensington Gardens, Baker Street, and Paddington Station. There are plenty of trains and buses available to get you around town. This specific area was calm and quiet, too, which was helpful. Our room was clean and lovely. I do want to mention that I did not see an elevator, so guests would need to climb stairs. Also, our Do Not Disturb sign was removed by staff who came in to clean up. Not a big deal, but a little worrisome when it happened.
A hidden gem
Amazing location for an outstanding price. The building and rooms are new and there is plenty of space. The service is high quality too, I would certainly recommend this place to all sorts of travellers.
A great find in a convenient location.
Very new, everything in the room was of high quality. Steep stairs but worth the climb. Very friendly and helpful staff and only a short walk from Paddington station for Heathrow Express. Convenient location near Hyde Park.
Decorated very well. Comfortable and very helpful staff
Very convenient location. Close to two underground stations and lots of good pubs/restaurants. No elevator. Bathroom is very tiny.
Clean place, very small and there is no elevator which sucks because you have to carry all your bags and all your bags down. It is very close to Lancaster gay and Paddington station so it’s easy to hop on train and go where you need to get going
The room was clean and comfortable. The location is close to Lancaster tube stop and Paddington station which is great if you are traveling to and from Heathrow.
Convenient to Paddington Station, Lancaster Gate Station, and Hyde Park. Would stay here again.
great location and property. close to Hyde Park, underground trains (Paddington station) and buses, near to restaurants and corner stores. property clean and bed comfortable. checkin easy. We were early so we were able to leave our bags on site whilst we walked to and around Hyde Park.
The hotel was in very good location in Paddington area. Only 7 min walk to Paddington station. The bed was so comfy and room very clean. The reception staff was also very friendly. I sure will go there again.
It was immaculate. Staff were really helpful. Very comfy and brilliant nights sleep.
Hotel was a quick 5 minute walk to Hyde Park and two bus/underground stations. The room was small but clean. I disliked that the rooms were below street level and it was very noisy at night.
The room was newly renovated and very clean. Communication with the front desk was minimal.
room is too small although all others are satisfactory.
The only down side is the lack of an elevator, however, they did offer to carry the bags up the stairs.
It is not luxury, and rather bare-bones, but that is what we expected. It is excellent value--clean, friendly helpful staff, great location close to a major tube station. There is no restaurant, but good places for breakfast are close and inexpensive. There is no elevator, so you need to be ok with stairs, which we were. The picture suggests that it is much bigger than it is. It is actually only one segment of the building shown.
The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Osman the desk clerk/concierge/manager bent over backwards to make my stay perfect. I neglected to let them know that stairs were a problem for me and my room was on the 3rd (our 4th) floor. Immediately Osman moved heaven and earth to get me a room on the ground floor. He refused a tip and insisted his job was to make me comfortable I was very impressed with him and the other staff. The rooms were much bigger than I would have expected of a London hotel.

Very clean and tidy. Easy access to Hyde Park and underground. No lift so if you have heavy luggage and on the top floor as we were be aware. Great if going to event in Hyde Park.
