I was over charged for an extra day almost double
The poor was heated which was nice. The water quality was poor (yellow from the taps) and when some of the fittings were first turned on the water gave off a very bad odour. Possible stagnation or legionella issue.
I would like to appreciate Evelyn and Nicholas at the breakfast, very courteous and excellent customer service. Thank you! Ian at the front desk was pleasant too. Good hotel to stay, I would definitely recommend it.
Great
Water from the taps feeding the bath was a deep yellow in colour. excuse given was that this was bore hole water but as a qualified plumber i could tell this was not the real reason. Little used outlets like the douche and the bath in Executive suites deep yellow and smelly due to internal pipe corrosion. Where as toilet water and shower water was almost clear where the pipes have developed a limescale protective layer. The hotel needs to flush little used outlets to prevent Legionella growth and preve t corrosion especially where metal pipework was used that will suffer from dezincification over time. Customers beware Legionella could be an issue at this hotel.
A good hotel which we’ve stayed at a few times as it’s a convenient location for us. It’s away from the hustle and bustle therefore it’s nice and quiet, if you’ve been to Nairobi before you know how noisy it can be in certain places. The rooms are a good size for the price and beds are comfortable. The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay but it’s not a ‘holiday’ hotel and amenities like pool and spa are there however it’s more oriented towards a business hotel than a leisure one. If you want to relax and spend time in the hotel for most of the day(s) then it maybe worth looking at other options however they are much more expensive than this one. For the price, it certainly does the job if you want a very comfortable stay whilst you’re out exploring the city and country.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Good variety of breakfast options. Overall an enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay at the Concord again.
Covenient and reasonably priced.
It was located near the area I needed to be.
.
Amazing staff. What a great hotel. Super clean and friendly staff.
it is a standard kind of hotel
Liked concenience WHat I did not appreicate was the fact the they did no allow two members of my family to freshen up in the room - stating it was POLICY. A complete nonse - And we had to pay for the privilage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Complete nonsense. They do not care about customer service. Its the almight dollar they worship!!!
Lovely nice clean hotel; location for us was important Breakfasts excellent room comfortable clean welcoming thank so much for making our stay so happy and enjoyable Asante Sana
This is a very nice place. My only complaints would be lack of hot water for the jacuzzi tub, outdated restaurant menus and lack of tv programs other than Indian. The staff was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The rooms were very comfortable and quite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
It was an average stay for the price we paid
Average Not worth the money
Nice, convenient
Had an amazing stay but food need to improve it’s too routine and predictable
Amazing property with even better staff. They go above and beyond to make sure you are feeling welcomed.
Nice hotel, would highly recommend for tourists
expensive $50 early check in fee although they do include breakfast in it. breakfast better than many. excellent omlettes
Nice hotel
The Staffs were very friendly and very efficient
Super friendly and helpful staff! Had a great time
excellent friendly staff and very nice facilities
Pool and exercise room need maintenance
Stay was good, food and service was good. Only problem is that if you want to swim ( pool was out) and workout … machines have to be fixed .., and maintained…. We stayed for 5 days but no one fixed the pool . We were looking for swimming but very disappointed….
Very nice had a great experience but the night receptionist was not friendly seem to have attitude issues didn’t seem happy in his job. but everybody else was amazing
Excellent facility and loved the services offered by the staffs… very cooperative and warm people. Thanks to the management to provide such great hospitality and maintaining the facility in the heart of Business district.
Great stay overall. Only disappointment is that I had scheduled a massage and the masseuse didn’t show up. Otherwise, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive.
The property was clean and the breakfast buffet had a wide spread to choose from. It was difficult to get reception or guest services on the phone, but beside that it was good. Initially, they didn't acknowledge my VIP status, but as there was an issue with the ac in the room, they were forced to give the upgrade. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable.
We had a last minute booking and I'm so glad we chose this hotel. The staff were excellent. I will definitely come back again.
Ideal location close to malls and shops. Safe and quiet area. Pleasant and attentive staff. Great restaurants within the hotel. Spacious and clean room with very comfortable working space.
Food at breakfast and dinner restaurants were surprisingly good. If I were to return to the city I would stay here again.
Nice rooms, Gym equipment was not working
I had a wonderful stay , the staff was friendly as always.
The hotel is lovely and the staff is very friendly. However they could do with a variety of breakfast not the same thing every day.
Was a cosy stay altogether
If your staying for week u get tired of same breakfast and there pool always full of outsiders with a lot chemicals they don’t charge water, only Indian channels and wifi terrible
Very reasonable and breakfast buffet was good. Hallway carpets need deep cleaning.
Staff were friendly. Room was ok. Bathroom was too small.
Nice amenities and great sense of security. Suites need some very minor repairs.
it is nice place however it is far little from the different options for food and shopping not possible to go by walking
Parklands is convenient and reasonable but it's starting to look and feel run down and neglected by the owners. The staff are a mix of excellent and poor. We had road works right outside my room at night, all night long, but nobody bothered to inform me or offer a different room. The pool and gym are cold and inhospitable, the food at the restaurants overpriced and not very good. It was my second but also my last stay. It has deteriorated.
Great place to relax
Please is very clean, quiet and secure
The say was very nice. The hotel was comfortable, clean, good amenities. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to others to stay
Pros: The hotel is well situated close to most major areas in that region. They have ample parking and the staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The water pressure and temperature in the bathroom are absolutely perfect. They have a pool and sauna. Very good WiFi. Common areas and lobby are clean and they provide hand sanitizer on every floor and in the room as an amenity. Cons: My room was dirty; the carpet was stained in so many places that I couldn’t walk barefoot on it, the bathroom had mildew that could easily come off if you sprayed it with water. I mean caked on mildew, the glass shower panels were extremely stained. Despite my request for a nice view and quiet room, I was assigned a room that overlooked rusted tin roofs as opposed to the view of the forest which is way better and every morning, we were woken up by some outside noise which we were not able to discern. After my Expedia check-in review whereby I mentioned the state of my room, they tried to clean the mildew by the shower soap holder but missed the rest.
Checking into any hotel in Kenya is so painful despite prre-paying and providing all information online, one has to hand-write the same information again at check-in. It took over 20 min. to check-in. First, my booking was not found, then it took several efforts to copy my ID, allocate a room, make me fill out random forms, and hand me a key.
Superb
Good location, quiet and peaceful. Overall cleanliness could do better. Friendly staff
bad tv , bad internet bad food ,mini bar not working don’t try it
clean rooms and facilities, secure, friendly staff. would recommend to anyone travelling to Kenya.
Great and spacious
Great stay and fantastic staff. They made us feel welcome and were always ready to help. Nothing negative to stay. Room abs intercept were great. Very clean. Excellent stay and would stay here again. A
Excellent stay.
Very friendly staff, and very helpful.
Wonderful hotel and staff!!
We had a three day stay at The Concord Hotel at the end of a two week visit to Kenya. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and full of the nicest most hospitable people I've every met. When we arrived we received a welcome gift and when we left we received a farewell gift! There is an ATM within walking distance from the hotel. Every question or need we had was happily tended to by Bevaline. If she was not available the remainder of the staff was just as willing to accomadate us. We had a late night flight back to the US and we were allowed to stay in one, of our three rooms, until later in the afternoon. Due to covid we also had multiple forms which needed to be printed out before our flight home. Those were printed out for us with no extra charge. I would like to thank you all for that. The hotel has three separate restaurants inside with great tasting food at a very reasonable price. They offer a shuttle service to and from the airport also at a reasonable price. Instead of paying per person you just pay one price for the trip. Made it very nice for our party of 5! They have free and secure onsite parking. I just can't say enough about this hotel. Please go visit the beautiful country of Kenya and when you do I hope while transiting through the country you choose to stay at The Concord Hotel. I promise you will not be disappointed.
Team was kind and quick enough
Have stayed at this hotel several times but this time was very disappointed. Unknown to us there is no heat in the rooms and it was cold. The shower was dirty, the carpets were stained, the battery in the clock was dead. Restaurant service was terrible. Of all of the times we ate there there was not one time that they got the order right. Reception and housekeeping staff were pleasant. This hotel has really gone down in quality. Management seems to be absent or not caring. Won't be staying there again.
The property was magnificent to say the least, the staff was friendly and respectful....One area of improvement would be the restaurant/bar service, that can definitely get better with prompt service and or rather shorter wait times.
Value for money
Lovely Hotel & Good value for money
Concord in itself is a nice hotel. The room had a smart TV which meant we could enjoy some cinema whilst the city was in some mini-lockdown. The area (Parklands) apparently wasn't the best part of the city so that may work against the hotel. However, for the few nights I stayed here, I enjoyed my stay. The lobby area is lovely.
The service was fine. There was some tech problems with TV and internet and some features were unavailable like the spa.
very average and poor value for money.
80% of hotel is closed up. Was not communicated this prior to booking.
Breakfast should have been included. After paying full price. Also after requesting, staff was very rude. Otherwise it’s good hotel.
Top notch property and I hated to leave. If I go back to Nairobi again, I'll definitely stay there again!
very nice place
it was amazing, couple of restaurants for all types of eaters. well secured area to walk around. little away from the happening area. lavish rooms and good service, friendly staff's.
Modern Elegance with Superior Comfort
Definitely have a meal at Umami, the Concord's Asian cuisine restaurant. The ginger fried rice and Shechwan chicken are an excellent combo. If you're lucky Rita will be your waitress. She's fantastic along with the rest of the staff!
The Receptionist was extremely rude and offensive!
The staff was very nice and engaging, its a shame that you have to be checked again if you leave the Hotel for 10 min. I was also charged $36.00 twice for the meals of two added Guests for the breakfast buffet..
Great staff. Comfortable stay. Nice neighborhood. We would definitely return
Great stay overall
Great stay with an easy check in and check out. Very small hitch with the room check in but it was sorted out very quickly and efficiently. 7 minute walk to Diamond Plaza which is convenient to access to some restaurants and banks, etc, although depending on tastes, the food options can be slightly limited.
Not worth the money in my opinion good location and good staff but not good toilets mold and dirty looking not up to the standards of the major brands that’s for sure. Not worth it.
This hotel is very safe and service is good. It's a nice hotel, but it needs some updating. There are at least restaurants on site, which is very convenient. But they should offer more entertainment since they have the space for it. Hotel is located in residential area, so it's quiet and good for resting. It's walking distance to Diamond Plaza which has some shopping and eating spots. Taxi service is affordable around town. About 10-15 USD from airport to hotel. Overall, good stay.
Nice, clean hotel. Room was as described. Restaurants are nice. Breakfast was good.

Overall service and behaviour has declined. As a gold member I am entitled for free room upgrades and complimentary late check out but none was provided to me.
