Loved everything, great stay, loved our room, very private. Maybe add a small recycling bin in the room :)
Street noise bothersome. Good value for your money.
Great location and welcome from Jade. Beautiful suite with view of the river. Amazing breakfast. Affordable. We loved it!
Personalized attention given by staff. Delicious breakfast and good company
The property is comfortable clean and the breakfasts were extremely good and filling. The managers were very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend staying there to anyone who asks
Colonels B&B
A great older B&B. Very clean and well managed. The bed was a little creaky but was still comfortable. Beautiful view of the river. We would stay again.
Loved the location and proximity to walking trails . Hostess Jade was a very informative person and really lovely person .
I loved the home. My room was clean, cozy and warm with big windows overlooking the /st John River. The downstairs living room had a record player and comfy couches to enjoy. The breakfast and coffee were fine. I could easily walk across the walking bridge that at one time was the rail road crossing and continue on foot to the downtown, old churches and streets of Victorian l homes. When it was dark the lights of the city reflected off the river. Very pretty.
Very clean rooms and very nice staff. It is located in a great location.
Delightful stay in a charming bed and breakfast.
What an enchanting inn. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw our room. It was in an area over the garage. We had complete privacy with a fireplace, spa tub, balcony to look out at the river and the park and a very comfortable bed. There was also extra pillows, blankets and anything else you could want in a hutch. The breakfast in the main inn was plentiful and very good and included fresh fruit as well as an egg and meat entree each morning. The location was perfect for our visit with relatives. We were unable to stay in the hotel we normally stay in when we go to Fredericton as there was a jazz festival in town. The owner of the inn also accommodated our request for an earlier breakfast time. She was gracious and helpful. How lucky for us that we lucked into this charming inn.
Great location and view!
Very spacious and comfortable room.
Great view of the park and the river.
Jade welcome. Upon arrival and show this to our spacious room which was separate from the house and above the garage. The good news is it was very private. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed our entire stay. Jade was helpful with directions 2 Queen Street via the walking bridge and we enjoyed our early evening there.
Fredericton B&B
The B&B was in a good location, the room was very spacious and comfortable (even though we didn’t get the room we had booked). It was very close to a craft brewery with a great patio. I would stay here again.
Amazing historical house! We had a super private room above the garage with a bubble bath and everything. We felt like royalty.
Walkable to town centre over pedestrian bridge. Large, spacious rooms. Great breakfast.
Great location only a 15 minute walk to the harbour where there are great restaurants and bars.
Beautiful B & B with a great view!
I stayed 3 nights in th RCD Suite! it was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. The Colonel's In B&B is a beautifully maintained historic house. Jade made the best breakfasts during my 3 day stay, I would definitely stay there the nex rime I visit Fredericton, NB.
Great B&B
Jade was very welcoming, the breakfasts (4) were delicious and each had a different touch. I stayed for 2 nights and returned for another 2 nights the next week, all for business. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The heating works properly !! You'd expect that everywhere, but no, some places are just dirt cheap on heating. The place was very clean ONly good things to say about the Colonel's Inn.
Better than any hotel!
We have our own sitting room, and the bathroom is very roomy! Very comfortable and the owner is very friendly and accommodating.
A Perfect Gem in Fredericton
This is a lovely little bed and breakfast across from the river in Fredericton. Our room above the garage had a beautiful view and a small balcony that would be perfect in the summer. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had an awesome soaker tub as well as heated floors. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. A perfect little getaway close to the heart of the city. Would definitely recommend it and hope to come back someday!
Absolutely delightful
Great bed and breakfast! Our host was friendly and welcoming. Very bright, and spacious room. Breakfast was delicious and available when we needed it. Thank you! We will definitely stay again.
Location and Comfort
Great location, river view and very close to the walking bridge to downtown. Friendly and accommodating hosts, for instance there was a care package on my door for the next morning when I noted that I would not be able to join for breakfast, nice touch! The most comfortable bed I have slept on while travelling. The room over the garage is large, private, has an ensuite, and a great little balcony. Would definitely recommend.
Took a chance and it was not what I expected.
Not an ideal choice for people visiting on business. If I was on vacation I would have given higher ratings.
Nice stay in Bethel
We were travelling cross country and stopped for a night in Bethel. The Holidae House worked out very well for us.
Nice B&B in Fredericton
Enjoyed our one night here. The B&B is very cute and the room is updated and comfortable. There was even a sitting area in the top floor room we got. The bathroom is roomy and has all amenities, there are enough plugs, and the wifi was strong. Breakfast was tasty and abundant.
Lovely old Inn
Great old Inn within easy walking distance of downtown Charlottetown and all attractions. Delicious breakfast in the restaurant.
Beautiful home, amazing food, gracious host!
Our stay at the Colonel's In was absolutely superb! We couldn't have asked for a more accommodating and delightful host. We were not familiar with the area and she provided us with lots of great recommendations during check in. Our homemade breakfast the next day was out of this world - - delicious muffins from scratch, fruit, and mouthwatering French toast. Our room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We couldn't have asked for a better stay! Caity and David from Halifax, NS
Lovely B&B in Fredricton
Loved my stay at Colonel's Inn-great old house, clean, comfortable, with many interesting things to read, look at. Owner was welcoming, friendly, and suggested many great places to eat and walks to take- resulted in a perfect, restful visit to Fredricton. Took suggested start to drive next day along old HWY 1 along St John River- beautiful views of river. I would enjoy a return to Inn and will recommend it to others. A super breakfast.
Great location facing the river. Comfy bed, breakfast was awesome and the coffee...best ever!
Nice House Nice surroundings and an excellent breakfast
Charming inn, close to the river
This is a lovely inn very close to the river. We enjoyed the largest room, over the garage. The space was clean and comfortable. The house is close to a busy street. Some guests may find front rooms a little noisy as a result. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful.
Very clean and comfortable. Excellent service. We were sad to leave.
Walking distance from downtown delicious breakfast
Warmly greeted by our host who had lots of information about Fredericton available for us, including restaurant menus and maps. House was beautiful and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and bathroom with large counter, mirror, and a nice shower. Breakfast both mornings was served at a time convenient for us and the food was homemade and incredible! Best muffins we've ever had combined with fruit and a hot plate of food different each morning. The walk to downtown Fredricton is approximately 15-20 minutes so it is perfect for anyone able to walk that distance. We really enjoyed the walk over, because passing over the bridge is quite beautiful! The room comes with a parking spot.
Quaint B & B
Room was spacious and very clean. Cindy was extremely helpful & accommodating, & made an excellent breakfast, which included homemade muffins. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend it.
The perfect B&B, in a great location
Cindy was very welcoming. Even though we arrived later in the evening than she would have liked, she appreciated the phone call to let her know. Gave us a quick tour, directions and served up a delicious breakfast. Only regret was we only spent one night!
B&B
Great experience, very nice & clean room. Would definetly stay here again. Charlie & Ana Charlotte NC
En route to Nova Scotia
We were greeted by Cindy who presented a helpful information package. On hand was a binder that included copies of restaurant menus. The B&B is located facing a park that runs along the St. John River. Nearby is the old CNR Railway bridge which is now part of the local trail system. It provided an easy 25 min walk into the downtown area that gave access to restaurants and the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Room was comfortable and very clean. Great fresh muffins and peach pancakes for breakfast. There is "For Sale" sign outside.
A great B&B in Fredericton
We stayed at the Colonel's Inn for one night in September. We arrived at about 6:30 pm and were greeted by the owner, Cindy. Going far beyond just giving us the keys and pointing us to our room, Cindy provided a helpful introduction to Fredericton, its pedestrian trails, the route into town, and the various restaurants and other attractions to be found there. Although the house is historic, our room was large and modern. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. The internet worked flawlessly and delivered a good fast connection. Breakfast the next day was excellent, consisting of some extremely good homemade cinnamon buns, a fruit salad, and some equally very good and clearly homemade french toast (complete with a cream cheese filling and blueberry topping). The feeling was very much that of a cozy B&B.
Great experience
Cindy was very accommodating when we met with an unexpected delay in our arrival time. Would love to have stayed longer than the one night we had. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the company of the other guests. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys the B&B experience.
International social experience/good conversation
Great personal experience. Met other international guests. Hostess was epitome of graciousness and the peach pancakes were out of this world. Great river view.
Lovely B&B!
We stayed one night. Lovely room and bathroom, lovely breakfast, lovely hostess! Very pleased with our stay.

Liked everything but felt conscious about walking around on the creaky 3rd floor maybe a few more rugs might help
