Great location and good spot to stay

Great spot to say close to the financial district. Restaurant and bar options are a nice use of space. Easily walkable. Provided amenities are slightly lacking (no shampoo/conditioner and no way to contact front desk from the room) but would still stay again.

This hotel was beautiful and convenient. My favorite part was the view to the memorial tower. The only thing that I would say that needs some work is the coordination of the server in the restaurant, everything else was great the food was delicious 😋

Excellent View

We enjoyed our stay in the property! We had some issues checking in though. We had called to extend our stay and the receptionist thought we wanted to cancel our original booking and book just the day we wanted to extend to. The issue was fixed by another receptionist and everything was smooth afterwards!

Fantastic hotel. The hotel was beautiful inside and decorated so nicely, the lounge and views are great. It is so quiet you don’t feel like you are in New York . The room came with an amazing view, bed so comfortable , so so clean! Coffee and pastries located downstairs. 2 blocks from subway. Exceptional stay.

Nice hotel

The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, once you enter your room, make sure to check that everything is working properly. For example, the shower door, the dispensers for either the shampoo or body wash etc.

A great getaway location with outstanding staff and service!

Good location in the financial district. Good size rooms. Our first room had a leaking sink and the lever of the shower didn't work leading to hardly any pressure in the shower. The hotel provided another room. The new room had an outdated bathroom and the blinds did not work. As we didn't want to move again we decided to stay. Besides again a policy no compensation was offered. The hotel has great potential but needs some maintenance.

Great place, great location! Parking was tricky and the room was small, but the price was great and there was easy access to the subway.

The room is nice, small as is common in Manhattan. The bed and pillows were super comfortable! Five stars for that. The toiletries and hair dryer however, seriously lacking. No shower cap, no body lotion, etc and the hair dryer not very good. It was weak.

I booked a reservation a month and some days in advance for the stay. I called on the way to the facility and they said they couldn’t find my reservation that I booked for a superior king, and said they had no more rooms for superior with the view. I was very disappointed that I wasn’t able to be in the room I originally booked for. The room we had was very small, with not a good view.

The entry and lobby reeked of pot. Across the street from 9/11 memorial. Good downtown location. Check in was slow. Deli food was good. Clean and modern room.

Everything about this place is amazing. This is the only place I stay when traveling to NY. The staff is great.

I thought the place was great. Our room had a beautiful view of the city, and without a doubt, it has been one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The breakfast, which costs $25, is definitely worth it for the wide variety of food they offer. I was surprised that it had a more European than American style, but it was still very enjoyable. The stay and the staff were wonderful, and without hesitation, I would return to this place.

I loved everything about my stay at The Cloud! As a matter of fact, from now on, when I need a hotel in the city I will be staying there 😄

I booked a room with a certain view. It turned out to be a scam. The photo of the room in my booking is different. We were very upset. At the reception we were refused to cancel or change the room.

It is very quite place. I was afraid since I heard NY‘s night is too much of noise, but I didnt experienced any hassles regards to my sleep in this place.

Construction makes it difficult to get ubers

No bathrobes. AC is a little bit noisy. The decoration on the wall is slightly ripped off.

A good priced hotel with a great view but no frills. Room was compact but larger than other hotels in the area. Bathroom good size with great water pressure. Cooling/heating is very efficient but very noisy. Shout out to the deli downstairs that doesn’t have a presence on their website - it’s a perfect coffee joint and bar. The Bar on 6th floor also great with great service.

Water issue

There was leak in the air conditioning unit. The carpet was soaked as well as my clothes and shoes.

Overall this property was a good stay. I would not recommend the breakfast in the hotel. Very expensive for cereal and pastries. Support a local business next door.

Hotel was fine. Great location, friendly staff. My bathtub didn't drain. Limited lighting in room. At one point there was an alarm going off in another room for an hour from 7-8a. If you don't need perfect accommodations and you want to be downtown, it's a good place.

Very nice hotel with good value for a business traveler to NYC’s financial district. Clean and modern room, courteous staff.

Staff was super helpful, location was surprisingly quiet for NYC (I couldn't hear street noise at night) but still very walkable and easy to get on the train to the rest of the city.

I rarely stay downtown, but when I drive into the city, I need an easy commute with simple parking options. This hotel fits the bill. Easy access to the 1 to get uptown for a few shows and exceptional walking in Battery Park around the Village and SOHO. Clean and neat rooms that were fairly spacious by NYC standards. We scored a corner room with floor to ceiling windows which was a real bonus. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Pleasant workers and clean property. There is a coffee shop connected to the hotel and a nice lounge with an outside deck on the 6st floor. The location is so close to the World Trade centers. The subway line is around the corner. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We had an excellent view of The Oculus, One World Trade Center and Hudson River. Staff were excellent. Order a chocolate babka from Michaeli and enjoy your evening

Money Not Well Spent

Price gouging at its very worst. No valet parking. I have closets bigger than this room. While the view was great, still not what I would call a value by any measure. Couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

Great location! Rooms are very nice and clean! Highly recommend as it is in a very safe part of the city.

My room walls were dusty and I have allergies. No phones in the room, no ice bucket no ice maker . No free water was given . I told the manager this and all she could say was sorry I’ll talk to cleaning staff. Asked to credit something back she said no. Any other hotel accommodated their guest. I use to work at a hotel. It’s like she didn’t care . I won’t go there again

I loved the 6th floor lounge! Just wish it was bigger! Love the balcony too! Food was excellent.

A MUST stay when visiting NY!

I came to NY for a girls wknd with my friend, & we had an amazing stay! The front desk staff was courteous & helpful. BJ with guest relations was very accommodating & Sam made the best drinks! The Cloud One is my new go to hotel when visiting NY.

Its a great location by the Freedom Tower and its near water to take rides. However, the room lacked necessities like body lotion and conditioner and a bottle of water. For the price these things should have been available.

Nice facilities and rooms. Only cons are noisy air conditioners (problem solved with ear plugs) and limited public transit options for getting to east side of downtown (e.g. Pier 17).

Came with our son for a first time in NYC and the location, view, and amenities were exactly what we wanted!

One block to the World Trade Center Memorial!

Close to subway stops, 24hr CVS in walking distance, shopping and food. Very clean and friendly.

Hotel is steps from WTC, very convenient for a planned dinner in the tower and subway lines. Room was larger than many in NYC and very comfortable.

Loved this hotel!

The hotel was immaculate and the staff very friendly. We also really liked the location and the cost was very reasonable.

As close as it is to the Memorial and Museum, and within the Trade Center transportation center and near Fulton transit hub, the hotel is in a okay spot. Would have been nicer if the view was not of a building, but maybe of the rest of downtown, oh well. But really, the staff are awesome and provide excellent customer service. Would I stay there again? Hmmmm maybe.

Clean, very good last minute weekend deal, good location. Air conditioning difficult (too cold or too warm). Prices for breakfast are High, in hotel and in vicinity. Expensive neighborhood, near de WTC, lots of tourists.

Very comfortable, clean, and great location

I loved the location of the hotel, though downtown manhattan/financial district there was so much to explore. We didn’t even scratch the surface. The staff were kind , welcoming and simply amazing. They were so hospitable which made a huge difference as we have never been to NYC before. Our room size was perfect, so much space, the beds were comfortable- and the shower was exceptionally clean. One thing I always look out for is a clean shower and the hotel didn’t disappoint. I would definitely recommend a room with the city view. It was so beautiful day or night ! One thing I think the hotel could improve on is having a phone in the room. As visitors to the USA we had an eSIM which covered data but not call which meant we couldn’t call reception if we had any queries or concerns. Instead of going downstairs. Besides that we enjoyed our 6 days in NYC and I can’t wait to come back

21st Birthday Celebration Trip

We have stayed in a good few NYC Hotels but this hotel was by far the cleanest, room was spacious and the view was spectacular and all staff we encountered were super friendly and attentive. The hotel kindly gave us an upgrade to mark my daughters birthday. Our 6 night stay was incredible value and the hotel is well located within walking distance to many areas including the South Street Seaport and also there are excellent subway and path connesvtins from the WTC nearby. We slept well as there was no outside noise. Can’t wait to return again

Convenient for WTC and 9/11 events. Rooms small but clean and bed comfortable. There is a Whole Foods store and a few reasonable restaurants near by.

Be aware of the sixth floor

We enjoyed our stay, but we were charged $26 for a bagel on the 6th floor. I didn’t think that was fair, as I thought it was complimentary with our room, because no prices were posted. We got to the area 15 minutes before they closed, so we couldn’t even enjoy the view.
