Excellent front of house service. All our requests were sorted. A good sized room for London. A good breakfast. I’d recommend and we will be back.

We just returned from a 3 night stay and had auch a lovelyvstay here. We couldnt fault it, great location, friendly staff, very clean, great mini bar, super breakfast. Only thing if i was to say any negative was it can be a little noisy at night but you are in central london so have to expect some noise and the positives far outweigh this. Hope to be able to stay again.

Great Stay

Really enjoyed my stay. Room was super clean, and although there was a Christmas party happening in the same building, I couldn’t hear anything in my room - it was surprisingly very quiet. Reception and restaurant staff were very friendly too. Would definitely stay there again.

I can’t begin to say enough AMAZING things about the Clermont!!! From the second we walked in, I felt like a part of the Clermont family, and honestly like a princess! Even with a midnight arrival, we were welcomed with joyful, kind smiles! Danish was so kind, friendly, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and in the know of everything at the hotel and its surroundings. My two boys were even given Clermont teddy bears, which made their late night arrival cheerful! The rooms were stunning and spacious. The bathroom was so nicely fitted and we had every amenity we could think of - bath robes, slippers, HAND SOAP, lotion, hairnets, WATER! Believe me, free water puts any hotel at the top of the list for me these days. Our boys bed was beautifully made when we got there, as well as extra towels without even having to ask. When walking around the hotel the next day, each and every staff member made a point to say hello. Coming to a girl that is from the south (Texas), this speaks volumes to the culture that the Clermont has set. There is everything you could want close by including restaurants and tourist attractions. Everything is walkable. Breakfast was awesome. I really love the ambiance of the restaurant. Made me feel like I was in Paris. Tube is 4 minutes away! If I could recommend one thing, it would be more places to hang hats, jackets, and purses when you walk into the room, but that’s it! 5 stars for the Clermont! I can’t wait to return!

The welcome from Hally on reception was so warm and inviting. The room was great clean warm and modern. Great bathroom with underfloor heating and a big heated towel rail. Good quality bed and coffee making facilities!

Excellent central location, walking distance to many sights and attractions, convenient transport links via charring cross or embankment. Lots of restaurants and pubs. Staff are excellent, friendly and accomodating, hotel is clean and comforting. Highly recommend!

Great hotel with exceptionally good staff

Our room was very comfortable (especially the bed) and we were fortunate enough to have an upgrade. The breakfast buffet was excellent. All the staff - reception, porters, dining room and cleaning staff - were absolutely wonderful, the best we have ever encountered.

What makes a hotel great is the person in charge of making it great and in that regards the Clermont is in great hands - Michael Hedges truly cares about his guests. He’s warm, accessible and into the details. The hotel itself is ideally located right on top of Charing Cross station. It’s super easy to access from the airport and an ideal location to explore London. Not many gyms in London have a gym and I really appreciated it - especially the erg. Finally, if you stay here try the Seven Deadly Sins walk with Ulrica. It’s a short walk from the hotel and an amazing perspective on the neighborhood.

Staff were so great and accommodating. The restaurant food was delicious. Incredible welcome with cake and champagne. Location is close to lots of tourists sites and easy to use Embankment and Charing Cross Undergroubd.

Great location right on the strand and spacious room, very comfortable bed and pillows, lots of snacks in the room. Quiet for such a central location. Smiling and helpful staff. But our room had no floor heating in the bathroom and it was pretty cold. Also we had a dark room, with a windows with a view on a wall.

Hotel was great and staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also in a convenient spot and close to everything.

This hotel was wonderful for many reasons. It is right next to Charing cross station and within a 5 minute walk to Embankment. We were able to walk to many sights including the National Gallery which is less than 5 minutes from the door of the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and also a small Marks and Spencer food mart where you can get snacks, prepared meals, fruit and other small grocery items. You can not beat the location. The hotel is beautiful. We stayed in a standard room with a king size bed. The bathroom was extremely clean and very lovely. Great water pressure! The bedroom included a comfortable bed and a nice little couch and television. There are small bar fridges in the room, and all items are complimentary with the room. The housekeepers refill it with new items when they clean the rooms. The coffee and tea cupboard was also refilled daily. Excellent housekeeping staff! All staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to London. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely stay

Lovely stay for my mums 70th birthday treat. Staff were all lovely and the service was great - rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Lovely touch as a surprise in mums room of birthday cake and balloons which she was really delighted about.

The Clermont is a beautiful gem in the heart of London. The staff were exceptional and the location couldn’t be better. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent location, however there can be a lot of noise from the streets around late night. Staff are fantastic.

The Clermont Hotel

A very good 4 Star Hotel. Reception/Staff all friendly and helpful. A very good breakfast choice and service needs were met instantly. Our Deluxe Room was outstanding. It was at the back of the hotel though with a rather deflating view at a drab office block opposite. Many nationalities, especially Americans were prominent and active. The location is brilliant for all the major tourist attractions. Overall, we would be more than happy to return at a future date.

We have just spent one night at the Clermont and had the most wonderful experience from start to finish! The staff were so welcoming and made our stay really special with teddies for the children, complimentary drinks and cake in the room for a special birthday we were celebrating. Fantastic location too!

I really liked the quality and cleanliness of the room. The staff in the restaurant made a real effort with us, (Tanya/ Maria ?). She also recommended the chicken, which I tried and very much enjoyed. They also gave my children teddy bears on arrival, which was a special touch, and tokens for free beverages at the bar. The Clermont was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our 6 week European vacation.

Location, location, location. Its very close to everything. We walked everywhere. The Cleremont, Charing Cross is a very nice hotel. Our room has a king size bed & a sofa bed. Room size is a decent size compare to other hotels in London. The staff is very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Great hotel in the perfect location. Just a 5 minute walk to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery, 5 minutes from Covent Garden. Lots of restaurants and theaters nearby. Great helpful staff, wonderful breakfast. 4 nights for 2 people in a standard room, 2100 00 GBP.

The Clermont is well located close to Trafalgar Square and walking distance to many attractions. The hotel is old, and while the room we had was well appointed and comfortable, it was a pain / cumbersome to get in and out of as it was located in an adjacent building. On the bright side, they were able to give us a room right away when we arrived after an overnight flight. On the downside, other than the comfortable, out-of-the-way room, the hotel dining was expensive and sub-standard. Nice looking room, but poor quality food and over zealous wait staff. Overall this hotel was ok, but not great.

Staff was efficient and Hôtel was clean. Location is convenient to see many of the tourist attractions. However, The location is next to the Underground station and it is loud. The nightlife from the station does not slow down until 3-4 am and makes it very hard to sleep at night.

Excellent location. Perfect hotel in central spot. The hotel is nice and clean. Staff is super helpful. We loved the breakfast and comfy beds. Second time staying here in span of 6 years and it was fantastic both times. We’d stay her again!

London extended stay

Our stay at the Clermont was wonderful. The location was excellent and the staff superb.

We were a bit disappointed with the service during the evening meal and the time taken to receive it. Plus it was quite chilly during the meal. Also, the table we were given at breakfast was insufficient for 3 people to eat at (high circular table). Otherwise, everything else was fantastic

We stayed at the Clermont for the last 3 nights of a nearly 3 week long vacation in the YK. It was the perfect ending to a perfect vacation! Steps from the train/tube station which made London very accessible to all of our planned excursions. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was well laid out, very clean and bed comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again!

Paid for an upgraded room but the new room had a very poorly operating Air conditioning unit making it very difficult to sleep , defiantly not worth the money with so much competition for guests . doubt we would stay there again

Great location , clean , beautiful

The hotel is above an underground station. However you’ll hear nothing. Great location to walk, grab a taxi, pharmacy, food, sites. Staff was very kind. The restaurant inside had good food, this worked out for us when we just wanted to stay in. The bed was comfortable, mini fridge and snacks were complimentary. The water pressure in the shower amazing! We would stay there again. Thank for a great stay.

Lots of minor niggles this time including faulty tv every day despite being seen to by staff, faulty phone, faulty safe, twice, one of the lifts out of order for our full stay, difficult for me as I use walking sticks and the lift was often busy, disappointing!

This is our second time at this hotel. We love the location and the access to two tube lines. The breakfast is very good and a beautiful place to rest and eat at a leisurely pace. The bar is also a big plus. We will definitely be back!

Nice hotel bit pricy but great location

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Clermont Charing Cross! The staff, especially Daphne, at reception could not have been nicer or more accommodating! So happy with this decision to stay here!

Beautiful property in a excellent location. There was loads of restaurants, easy access to two Tube stations, a train station, and water taxi. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Every day, we had water and snacks replenished. We ate at the restaurant one night and hung out in the bar another night. The setting was gorgeous but the food was mediocre and overpriced. If I had to do it over again, I don't know if I would stay again, mainly because we felt the movement of the trains in our room every few minutes. The hotel was willing to move us, but it seemed every room was a choice between a view or noise (street noise or train noise). The train noise wasn't bad enough to kerp us up at night, so I decided to kerp the view of the Thames. Also, the housekeeping was a tad lacking.

Great hotel at a great location!

Lovely beds quiet rooms great bar and nice staff convenient to all London attraction spots and steps to great shopping in Covent Garden.

Overall this was a great property, we had one misunderstanding (we put the no housekeeping please sign on the door and then were told we couldn’t request toilet paper if we did that…. For a 7 night stay with 3 adults and 2 rolls of paper- we sorted it out and got TP), and otherwise it was safe, convenient, clean, easy check in and out experience, and overall were very happy. Don’t forget they don’t use air conditioning the way we do in the states so it’s a bit HOT at times LOL

Have stayed at this location 4 times total. Very convenient location. Extremely clean and outstanding, very friendly service. Highly recommend. And a special shoutout to Rosy who works in the restaurant. She's the best!

Our room was in the attached building. It was quite small, barely any walking room between bed and window, desk,… The air conditioner didn’t work and the room was very warm for sleeping in August. No wash clothes available in the hotel.

The best hotel in London City

This is the best hotel with excellent service. Clean hotel, centrally located. Walking distance to almost every tourist place in London City and if you don't want to walk there is tube line available just at walking distance of 100/200 meter. All kind of restaurants available around the hotel.

Perhaps the best hotel I've ever stayed at, and I've stayed at a lot of four-start places around the world. Absolute first class, bottom to top.

The Clermont staff was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful. We were given complimentary wine, beer, water, coffee, and snacks in our room throughout our stay which was just lovely. The room was clean and spacious. I would most definitely stay here again when I return to London.

I have stayed at Clermont 9 times over 8 years and i have always had good service. Breakfast add on is an excellent option. I love the location.

It is located close to many of the places we wanted to visit. We were able to walk to the theatre one night. The tube station is just a few steps away. Large rooms by London standards and modern-size bathrooms. The service was great and we enjoyed the air-conditioned rooms! I would highly recommend...it cost a little more, but well worth the value.

Very convenient location!

The hotel was lovely. It saved my whole trip because the last hotel i stayed in was terrible. Clean and comfy for a family. Helpful 24 hour service. The area had basically anything i needed. I would book again if given the chance to go to London again.
