Room for two only had 1 cup 1 tbag 1 towel 1 sugar and smelled musty. Shower flooded washroom. Staff helpful and door security and help fantastic. Normall Clarion is lovely
A great value hotel in Nairobi CBD. We enjoyed our stay and had a good meal in the restaurant in the evening and coffee in the coffee shop in the morning. Enjoyed the steam room after a day of sight seeing
Staff taking care of my concern
Worst hotel. Filthy, noisy. We left.
This was a horrible experience. We were shown 2 rooms, our friend also 2 rooms. None were remotely acceptable. Not sure where the pictures and reviews came from, but not our experience. We had no hot water in our shower or sink, no AC, the carpet was filthy and wet, like a big dirty sponge. The rooms were noisy and no hope of opening a window as too noisy. This was a grim creepy place. The staff were trying to help, but this couldn't be fixed. Edwin at the reception desk was helpful and seemed to care, but when we met with Stephen, the General Manager, we were met with near silence. He couldn't have cared less. None of us was allowed a refund of any kind, but it was so bad we didn't at that point care, we just wanted out! If I could give zero stars I would.
Was okay, not bad for the money but bit run down
Wasn’t as good as expected, not for the price we paid. Noisy! The hotel has a bar, which was more noisy than the streets, where cars run 24 hours.
They need to put Air conditioner or fans at least in the rooms
Good hotel, clean and vry helpful frirndly staff
Value for money
Staff were very helpful. Room was decent size and comfortable. Only had hot water for shower but no way to control the temperature so not very convenient. Location was good and explored the cbd on foot during the day. Restaurant also had good food and service.
Located in a busy area, lots of street shops and buzz around. I liked it, but in case you are looking for a peaceful area, this might not be for you. The rooms were basic and functioning. My bed was maybe a bit worn out as I could feel the bed springs. Some mosquitos were harassing me during a couple of nights, otherwise slept well. The restaurant is OK, while the gym/sauna etc. seemed to be small / worn. The staff was friendly and helpful! In overall, I was happy with the price / quality ratio.
1 night stat
Good value hotel although in a shady area. Good shower.
good hotel. city center
Good hotel t reasonable price
Nice hotel in the center of the city close to everything. Cleanliness was good. Breakfast was good. Price is reasonable.
good hotel for short stay.
Very good hotel in business ares close to everything. Because of COVID, did not use much of the facilities even though they seem to be vary careful in cleaning. Breakfast was good. For business stay this was just right for me and was not expensive like many Nairobi hotels. I would stay again there.
Decent Room
My stay was good for the night. Room was comfortable. The kettle in my room 318 did not work, so I exchanged it with the room opposite mine.
Great hotel, very nice staff
Hotel is very good, clean and looks new. Shower is also OK, even though the bathroom window didn't have a curtain. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Overall great value for money.
It is labeled as a 4 star. It is most certainly not a 4 star hotel. No fan or ac in room. Mosquitos but no mosquito net. Loud. Not from the road noise but from the church next door and some work happening most of the night. Would not recommend. Better options for the money. Might have been nice when it was new.
Just a night is fine, but not for long term
The rooms are very dark... had to use flash lights... there were also bugs in the washroom... the previous reviews showed that the reception staff is friendly and they know everything but we faced the opposite... the lady couldnt find our room at first by reaching the 8th floor... that was quite funny for us... later on she was like it was behind her thats why she couldn't see it... we were leaving to walk around by 4.30pm but the staff and security said everything is closed now... i dont know how ridiculous they could be as we found all open till 7.00pm...
Room was outdated and small tv. Electrical outlet not in places of convenience. Old furniture and hot water takes forever to get hot
This place is not a 🏨 hotel! it is a dirty , smelling dump, full of flies and bugs cannot imagine they are renting this place.i had to leave this place the minute we got to the room OMG !!!!
