Extremely comfortable, quiet room. Great bar service. Up-to-date decor and convenient location.

I enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and large with a nice view and the daily food perk was great. My only complaint was it was easy to hear your neighbors, their shower running etc

Amazing service. Kyran is wonderful and attends to your every need. The property is beautifully decorated with a hipster vibe. I highly recommend it for tooling around and a short Lyft ride if needed.

Nice, safe hotel

Hotel was amazing and the staff were great. Only complaint is that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The thin mattress had no support and it felt like you were sleeping on spring and metal. Parking is expensive, but we were able to park in the street overnight.

Safe and Comfy

This hotel has become my favorite in San Francisco. Great area, feels safe, clean and walkable to the Warf. The service is great and courteous and friendly. I paid more this time than last, but because it's a great place to stay, I'm willing to pay a little more for feeling safe and comfy.

We enjoyed our stay at the Clancy. The property was clean and the room was very comfortable and Spacious. I love the coffee maker and the set up. The location was fantastic. Well within walking distance of the areas that we wanted to visit for dining and Shopping. The hotel was perfectly located for catching the public transportation to visit the zoo.

It’s a great property in financial district. Lot of good lunch options. Waymo & uber are great and pick-up is right in front of main door. Few blocks of walk to Embercardero.

It should be said that there is going to be a valet parking fee to be added with your stay. Great news is that they make up for it with the credit for food and water, refillable water bottles and the cable car ride. And that it is for our stay (overnight), not per day. Of course we didn’t use the car until we left for home. Considering that this is San Francisco, I’d say it’s reasonable. This is also the fanciest dog friendly hotel I’ve been to. 😊 great fitness center too

We had a good experience but our view was not good. The view was a wall and the roof of a building.

Lovely clean well managed property.

The rooms were quiet and clean, and beds comfortable! Very easy access to Bay Bridge, downtown, Waymo electric cars, the Embarcadero, and Oracle Park. The only parking option is valet, and it is very expensive at nearly $100 per night. If you have a vehicle, make sure to check out the garage options very close by- literally across the road- at 1/3 the price and easy access without having to wait for valet. Otherwise, the lobby is really nice, a great outdoor seating area to chill, and fantastic vibe at this hotel!

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance from public transit and to Oracle Park. The welcome gifts are a nice touch too.

Great stay

The hotel itself is very nice but be very careful if valeting your vehicle. We called to have our car brought out and immediately went to the lobby when we received a text that it would be there in 10 minutes. Upon arriving out front our car was actively being towed with no valet in sight. We ran inside to find the valet, and the front desk was unbothered and unhelpful. We finally negotiated with the towing company to leave our car and found the valet who had our keys. Terrifying end to our stay. Would never stay here again.

The hotel was really nice and made it easy access to Oracle Arena. We got free water bottles, $35 toward meals and drinks, and passes to SF cable cars. They had a bar, restaurant and coffee bar. Tons of seating indoors and outside. Be prepared for really only valet parking with a steep $$$.

Overall I liked the experience but I would have liked if there was a laundry machine on site rather an offsite laundry service

Staff in the lobby were very accommodating. The location is walkable to lots of dining, Oracle field and SF Moma Museum.

Go Giants

It was a beautiful hotel that had many amenities. We went to the San Francisco Giants baseball game and it Wasn't too far from the stadium.

It’s a beautiful and affordable hotel with large and comfortable rooms. Staff very nice and helpful. Amenities were unexpected: free water bottle, cable car tickets, etc. $35 per night credit was also welcome, particularly to offset the $35 breakfast. Good variety and food was very good but it is a bit expensive. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Close to The Giants Game

Nicely updated rooms & good drinks at the bar. My only complaint is that the bar doesnt open until 3pm and closes early. We were hoping for a nightcap at the bar but it was closed when we got back at 12:15am. Minus that this place is very nice and centrally located for Giants and Warriors games.

The Clancy was conveniently located close to Oracle Park so we could walk to a baseball game. Very easy to navigate and only 30 minutes to the airport. However, valet parking was extremely expensive.

We booked the hotel Clancy for a trip to San Francisco for my husband’s 50th birthday, clean, spacious and well decorated and well kept the hotel. Staff was pleasant, friendly accountable and respectful. The property was well-maintained as well as fully staffed and has impeccable customer service. We spent a lot of time in the hotel restaurant, which was absolutely Amazing the food was always perfect. The service was impeccable weight. Staff were absolutely amazing. We looked forward to coming back to the hotel restaurant every afternoon and had at least two meals there daily. We traveled with our two daughters and they were happy and intrigued to be entire time.

Fantastic Stay

Hotel was easy to get to. Clean and central to all the activities in the city. Parking on the premises is ONLY valet and if not valet then you have to park on the street or find a parking structure. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend to anyone.

Surprisingly nice and affordable hotel in downtown. Walkable for the most part and close enough to the highway that you can get just about anywhere in the bay area quickly. The only downside is parking so if youre driving, know that its almost $90/day to park with them or take your chances with packed garages

Great place to stay - has a bar, restaurant, and café for coffee on-site. Bummed to find out no pool or rooftop access. Also, the property charges $80 a night for valet - I looked for street parking and made sure to be out and about before 9 am (parking enforcement). I believe it’s free starting from 6:00 pm but double-check the Parking Authority site.

One of the best hotels I stayed in. This hotel is close an amazing gym and it’s in a great location . . All of the staff were very friendly. Especially Regina at the Restaurant and Nelson from the front desk. They both went out of their way to give me information about tours areas and the safest way to get there. I will definitely come back.

Great SF hotel

This is truly an amazing hotel and the walk to Oracle Park was less than 10 minutes. Room was quite upscale with beautiful decor/design. The only negative was at 0245 the TV turned on telling me ‘bon voyage’ as if it was my alarm clock! It gave us quite a start and it was a bit before we could return to sleep. All in all, I definitely will return here for my future trips to the bay.

Our Go- To hotel

We travel to San Francisco between 1-5 times every summer to attend Giants games. We love staying at The Clancy! It feels very safe and is only a short walk to Oracle Park. The location is also a quick uber away from tons of other things to do. The staff is always polite, though sometimes the wait at the bar or from a server is a little excessive.... though never so long that it would deter us from ordering again. We were there 2 weeks ago and will be back again next month.

Beware of hidden fees!!

It was very misleading. Staff did not tell us about what we would call hidden fees. It was not a good experience form check in to check out. Be careful with lots of hidden fees they don't tell you about or you ask and they just tell you what you want to hear and when you check out all the hidden fees show up on your bill. There are plenty of Hotels in SF that do not operate like this. We will not be staying there again,

Excellent service, if there would be anything to report would be the high price for parking especially for people staying at the hotel for multiple nights. Overall, great service.

Really great place to stay. Proximity to Oracle Park is perfect. Staff were friendly and kind. Really good noise reduction, couldn’t hear any other guests while in the room.

In the dark of night, care and accomodation

When we arrived in the afternoon, we were told that the power was out and they had no time estimate for PG&E to repair the problem. It was specific to the hotel. They offered alternative accommodations at nearby affiliated hotels (Marquis & St Francis) at great prices, but we decided to stay at least until we had attended an event wiith friends. When we returned around 9pm, they told us that the power likely would not be back on all night. Backup generators powered the elevators and hallways. Rather than transfer late in the evening, we decided to stay. They gave my wife and I flashlights. The room was beautiful with city lights illuminating all but the restroom. It was actually fun and romantic. The hotel was quiet. We slept very well. In the morning, the sunshine lit our room. We were told there was no hot water, but there was enough for our showers. We actually decided we wanted to stay another night, but the hotel decided not to remain open without power, and provided great rates nearby. The Clancy is a nice hotel, and the staff demonstrated what was clearly a policy of putting guests first and taking care of their needs. We were not charged for our room. Nor were we charged for valet parking. We took them up on going to another hotel for our second night, and thought the rates reflected The Clancy's desire to accommodate the needs of guests. In the end, it was a memorable, fun, and romantic stay; and we would gladly go to the Clancy again.

Electricity had only came back on hours before we checked in. Elevators going up did not work, going down did work. Meaning we had to climb sets of stairs to floor 9.

The customer service was ok, and staff was limited. We had to take load our luggage and take it to the room, unload it and the cart stayed next to us until the following evening. This was disappointing.

This is a more upscale spot, decent walk to Oracle. I did have an issue with the valet service being posted as $80, but they include a tax that brings the total to $91.20 per night. They also overcharged me for an extra day of valet service. On top of that, the valet lost our key and was running around calling his co workers to locate it and had my family standing there for 20 minutes. I tried to talk to a manager and they said she wasn't in yet. They asked me to call back. I did and left a message, but haven't heard back. The one star is for the misleading prices, overcharge, incompetent valet, and management's failure to follow up. Check your bill!!!

Short walk to Oracle Park

Love this hotel. We stayed here for the Giants game. It's a great location, just a short walk to the ballpark. I didn't like the idea of a $30 destination charge, but didn't realize you get all that back and then some in the form of food and entertainment credits. Will definitely be back!

Everything was good to excellant. Only drawbacks were the $80 parking. only option was valet and service was good price seems exssive. Rooms were clean and modern updates. Extra charges were options for things like microwave and such. Was walking distant to ballpark. Staff was helpful and courteous.
