Very bad hotel

My room was full of mould and smelled a lot. There was water leaking in the bathroom and also outside the window where power lines where almost sitting in water from air conditioners. I also got very sick from the air and now have a virus in my lungs

Aircon doesn’t works, toilet blocked. The owner doesn’t want to change my room and I had to use the toilet at the restaurant down the street. Dodgy Pakistani owner. Rude owner. Never coming back here. Did not refund my money. A complete Rip off

Left after one night , filthy bedding , awful

Well they say you get what you pay for and in this case I overpaid. Watch out for the elevator and all the hidden fees they might try to make you pay. Was definitely an experience but it’s doable if you just need a place to sleep but kinda takes away from the vacation having to deal with it.

Horrible place to stay in, check out the mold in the bathroom and how the fridge looks, they didn’t move me to another room because it was sold out. Do not even consider staying there.

If all you want is a bed and shower it’s ok but don’t expect a hot shower there’s no hot water

good location

It is a very nice stay at this property. A good location as it is accessable to all your needs. The room has a nice setup and amenities as expected. Services are all superb with very attentive and warm service from all. I can say that this hotel has the best quality for such a minimal cost that I have come across. A wonderful experience indeed and I highly recommend friends to come.

Room 401 air conditioner is broke. Spits out ice and doesn’t cool the room. If on too long like over night when you are trying to sleep, makes horrible noise

Stay somewhere else

Stay somewhere else if you can there's hundreds of hotels in the Phuket area. It's old and rundown. The bed was hard as a rock and it's a very noisy party Hotel. Unless you want to party all night and sleep all day. Wish I had some photos.

Never again. Joke of a place. Hostel material.

Terrible. Paid for 9 nights, left after 2 nights. Hostel quality advertised as 4 star. NEVER AGAIN. Seriously, do not waste your money. No refunds so lost a good chunk of change walking away from a 9 night booking after 2 nights then having to pay for anothee hotel. English breakfast?? What a joke! Whole place is a joke. Pool is a plunge pool, not big enough to splash around and if there were 5 people in there it'd be crowded. Worst place ever. Location is only positive about this place, but I wouldn't book based on the location. So many better places around.

Staff were really friendly. Excellent for budget accommodation. Clean and tidy. Toiet blocked and was moved ASAP to a bigger room.

Worst experience

Ants in the bed, shower drain blocked so bathroom turned into a small pool, staff were just so rude and couldn’t care. I couldn’t even book a mini bus from the girls at front desk. I actually went back to my previous hotel ( Yorkshire) where they were wonderful & helped me. This place is a run down dump and I would not stay here.

It just right for everything. Location is in center but you have to walk a lillte inside the alley. That make it quite at night. Hotel is small but staff very helpful. Room are clean and comfort. Just what we paid for. At first, we was worry because of the previous comment but after stayed we think hotel is fine and standard. Don't know why they receive negative comments. For us? We love it!

Highly recommended

The most i impressed was the hotel staff, so friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself is located in the center of Patong which are convenience to reach the beach and also the shopping mall.

Do not stay here

This was described as a 4 star hotel. It was nothing more than a dodgy guest house. I also had money stolen from my room by the staff. The room was dirty and the bathroom light didn't work. It was truly a disgusting experience staying here!

A HOSTEL disguised as 4 star

This is by all means a HOSTEL.

There is no pool or free wifi in the rooms

The jotel was ok. But they dont have a swimingpool as its says on hotels.com website. Its just a jacuzzy that nobody uses. The internet in the rooms didnt work. Whe we complained for the pool and the internet you get bad excuses.

great hotel for people on a budget

This hotel is in a great location. Close to everything. Neat clean rooms. The manager is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. We booked for 8 nights but only stayed for one. I had my 12 year old grandaughter with me and she really wanted to stay some where that had a big pool. The pool at the Chilli Salza is more like a large spa and under cover. I certainly would recommend this hotel to any one that is looking for a hotel just to sleep at. The value for money is excellent. I would have stayed for the 8 days if I didnt have a child with me.

Very friendly receptionist

We stayed in the cheaper older block of the hotel and the room wasn't great a little dirty but everything worked and the sheets were clean at least. There was 2 guys that work in the reception area, one in particular the one there most of the time couldn't of been more friendly. That and being able to cool off in very small pool made the state of room not seem as much of a issue once you had got used to it.

Smells really really bad

The hotel is out of the way, and cab drivers have a hard time finding it. Even the Tuk Tuks!!! So print out a map, because if you try and call the hotel for help, good luck getting an answer on the phone. Once we found on the side of a dirty street, we had to climb up 3 flghts of stairs to our room. The smell in the room is over powering! It smells like sewer! I have traveled to many different countries, including Iraq, Hati, and Afghanistan due to my line of work, so I have learned to make the best of a situation. However I could not get over the smell in the room. After talking to other guest, this is a universal problem at the hotel.

Good Comfortable stay

We stayed for 3 days at Superior room. Room was comfortable and nice. Had a refrigerator too. There wasn't a hot water kettle, but the staff provided us with one when we asked for. There is a laundry just opposite the hotel, which washed and ironed our clothes for 50 bath per kg. Location is good & convenient walk from all attractions.

Great location, value for money clean rooms

Pros: Good location within 5 min walking distance to Bangla, Jungceylon and beach. Decent clean rooms for the price paid considering it's peak season. Rooms are good size as well. I had room on the 5th floor so got a scenic mountain view. No insects or cockroaches, which is very important to me. Cons: No elevator, so if you have problem with stairs, ask for rooms on lower floor. Not quite used to the hard mattress. Pool is not quite a pool as other reviewers mentioned. But no issue considering the price.

This hotel has no sign

When I arrived at the hotel the driver dropped me off a block from the hotel and I asked two tourist if they know where the hotel was and they looked at my paper and said that they had reserved a room there through a website and now the hotel says there is no room for them and it is the fault of the site itself. I found the hotel and fortunately I did get my room. Here room service is not daily and the toilet smell like street gutters I would not recommend it

Dont book this hotel

Its dirty, the staff unfriendly,and the mist shocking thing they charge 500 bath if you bring some body in your room. I ll never gonna book this hotel. There are many places on the same prices or just a 500 bath expensive. On my opinion either they change their policies or not even go there...

Chilli Salza Hotel - Panong Beach Area

Relatively easy to find if someone points you in the area. Staff is friendly. Easy access to Panong beach and bars. Cleanliness meets expectations, free Wi-Fi but it did not work in the room during the stay.

Ugly

The images pretend a nice and clean hotel. But unluckily we experienced the opposite. The AC was loud and there was a very unpleasant smell in the room. After 2 nights we decided to cancell the last night which turned out to be a wise idea!

Awesome!

I had a very good experience when I was in Phuket. Me and my bf stayed in this hotel for 4 days 3 nights throughout our days there. The hotel service was good, I love the staff name Mos. He is very friendly, caring, helpful, and is willing to share things about Phuket. We get alot of information and help from him. I can't deny that I really miss Phuket, and those late night chitchat session together.

Good only if you care about location

I only recommend you stay at this hotel if you care about location. It is very central to the city. If you care about anything else then dont stay here. The listing does not state that there are 3 other buildings in the hotel other than the new building shown in the listing. These other three buildings are a lot older and have no modern facilities

Value for price

The hotel is a bit rundown and the elevator up to the top floor could use an update but the room was ok, over expectation, decent AC and comfortable bed. Limited cleaning but good location.

Dangerous facility

The staff at the reception made a normal check in but the facility I was given was a disaster. 1. The staff from the reception followed with me to a construction that they call "elevator". It was space for one person and a suitcase. I was given instructions about how to stand inside the above mentioned construction for not disturbing its function. I should stand right very close to the right wall and not move. I followed the instructions but the construcion (fake elevator) stopped between floor 1 and floor 2. I pushed desperately the button for floor 2 and after several stops I came to Floor 2 (my floor). I noticed that nobody uses that construction as an elevator. I was told that in reality it is not an elevetar for guests, It was an arrangement for lifting construction material and in order to get a better score fore the facility that is called and rented as a "hotel" it was named "elevator". I dout that that construction meets any requirement for being used as an elevator for people- The last 2 days it was not in use, an indicator showed "Maintenance". 2. a) When I entered the room I felt a strong mold smell. Entering the bathroom I understood why. The lower part of the bathroom door and the adjacent walls were covered by thick and bad smelling layers of mold. I showed it for the receptionist lady and she took some pictures. b) The water flushing arrangement did not work.etc. etc. Score fot the facility: 0 (ZERO)

Séjour de dernière minute à un prix exorbitant versus la qualité de la prestation mais Phuket en général est devenu ultra cher et décevant par sa fréquentation de fumeurs de joint de banlieue!! Hôtel passable mais choisi par défaut! Ascenseur sans porte de sécurité…

Below expectations

Pictures look much better than in real life. A lot of noise at night due to metal sheets flapping and fluttering in the wind, cat’s mewing and arguments on the street. But very friendly and helpsome staff and you get what you pay for (budget room).

Det første værelse vi fik var beskidt, ødelagt og meget støj fra elevatoren, som vi i øvrigt ikke turde benytte pga. standen. Det nye værelse vi fik var var ganske vist blevet gjort rent, men stadig slidt gammelt hotel og der var mange myrer og andre kryb på hotelværelse. Vi kommer aldrig igen.

Sale, personnel odieux, chambre avec odeur d'humidité, pas entretenu. Séjour annulé à la vue des prestations qui ne correspondent nullement à la réalité. Les chambres donnent sur un depotoir ou une déchetterie, un cauchemar d'avoir choisi cet hôtel..

Belle hotel très bien situé près de la plage et des bars. Bien isolé contre les bruits extérieurs. Les points négatifs wifi très faibles et inefficaces aucune piscines fonctionnel contrairement a ce qui était indiqué

Eivät löytäneet varaustamme vaikka kaikki oli kunnossa. Vasta soitettuani asiakaspalveluun saatiin homma jotenkin eteenpäin. Likainen ja erittäin huonokuntoinen hotelli. Korkeintaan yksinmatkustaville joka ei paljon tasoa vaadi.

loistava sijainti

Hotellihuone, superior oli ihan hyvä. Hotellin henkilö kunta ei ollut kovin ystävällistä lukuunottamatta siivoojia jotka olivaat ainuita jotka tervehtivät. Suurena miinuksena hissin puuttuminen, ylimään kerrokseen oli noin 70 rappusta. Aamiainen ei ollut hyvä, aina samanlainen joka aamu. Hotellin sijainti oli erinomainen. Kaikki palvelut, kauppa , hieronnat, skoottereiden vuokraus, pesula ja apteekki ihan nurkilla. Bangla kadulle n. 200 m. En mene ensi vuonna samaan hotelliin, mutta lähistölle kuitenkin.

Bra beliggenhet. Er stille og rolig om natta. Badet lukter litt mugg og rommene trenger litt oppussing. Betjeningen er bra med smilende mensker. Helt greit for dere som ikke har høye krav.
