Room is clean and comfortable. This place is nearly community e.g San Chao market (in Thai is ตลาดศาลเจ้า), Walking street (On Saturday night), Ta Pee river (in Thai is แม่น้ำตาปี). You can take Tuk Tuk to everywhere in city.

Out of the way and messed up my booking.

Arrived tired and wanting room for shower and sleep. There was some confusion with booking. Anyhow it was eventually sorted. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but heyho only here for 1 night and was clean and comfortable.

Great hotel in between transit

I stayed here for one night before heading back home. The hotel is only a 30 minute car ride to the airport and is centrally located in Surat Thani. The hospital is nearby so you are a close walk away from plenty of street food vendors and a 711. I didn't see many restaurants when I was there but it was a Sunday so they could have been closed. The staff are friendly and the room was very clean. You have an option to eat breakfast there but it was closed when I stayed with them.

Hotel is nice, area is a bit sketch at night

The place was decent enough with a nice shower and room had an a/c that cranked out cold air. The neighborhood is not food for walking around at night as it did not feel safe and was poorly lit. The staff does not speak english almost at all so not much of a point to ask questions. Day market around hotel was kind of cool though. It worked for a one night stay before going to the ferry the next day to Kog Phangnon but beyond that I would not recommend the area.

Excellent

A relatively new establishment with modern basic facilities in excellent order. Comfortable bed and good shower. Helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Situated in a quiet soi just off the main road. No restaurant but a number available within walking distance. Complimentary tea and coffee and toast in the main foyer in the morning

Helpful Manager

We had a problem with some misinformation from the front desk girl. She didn't speak much English so we were misinformed. The manager came and explained the situation and smoothed out the situation. Front desk girls need more information regarding travelling around that area.

Great hotel too far from town

The Centrino is an excellent hotel in most respects: clean, bright, rooms with most of the amenities that one would expect in a good 3-star hotel. The only problem is distance from downtown. (Go out to the main and flag down a tuk-tuk. Pay about 30-40 baht to the center of town.) Staff, like staff at most Thai 3-star hotels, would rather not have to deal with guests in Englis, and don't offer help. If asked, they will try to comply, but there is only so much they can do. Even with these minor problems I would happily book there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Centrino to friends.

I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are bug and clean. Very modern. There is a lift to all floors despite seeing some reviews which said there wasn't. The location is fantastic and there are great cheap places to eat just on the left hand side on the main road. A cool quirky coffee place in the lobby.

This was just a stop off for us on our way to Samui, but never the less we were very shocked at how clean, modern and comfortable this place was, considering we only payed £12 for the night we certainly didn't expect this, overall very pleased with our stay

Comfy & Modern

We stayed here for one night between travelling from Koh Samui to Krabi. The hotel was very clean, modern and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helped us to get to the local Mall for dinner by writing the destination down in Thai for us. There are shops around the hotel and a small snack bar and cafe inside the hotel. The local transport is very cheap so be careful not to get ripped off for being a tourist. If staying at this restaurant I would recommend a trip to the Mall for a wide variety of restaurant choice. Although there are not many tourist attractions in the area, I would recommend this hotel.

Nice new hotel

the Hotel itself was excelent: very nice staff, they booked for us the ferry for the next day to Ko Phangan. Very new and clean bedrooms..Free Wifi!!! The breakfast at first's floor café was delicious. The bad point is that near there are just one seven eleven and another mini market, no restaurants available near the hotel. (the café at the hotel is open until 5 pm)

This is very good and new hotel. Location not far from shoppping mall. Reception very welcome and helpfull . The room very new and clean . Breakfast very tasty. Not far bus station to go Koh samui or one night stop to go airport

Excellent value for money

For the price I paid I did not have great expectations but the hotel is almost new, very modern, the room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, the hotel is about 10 minutes by taxi from the centre of Surat Thani and like most people I was only there for an overnight stay, the surrounding neighbourhood was nothing to get excited about, definitely a taxi into town if you want a nice restaurant or bar but I would recommend it highly, I looked at a couple of other hotels in the town centre and they did not compare at all to the Centrino.

Great overnight stop off

Nice place. Clean and tidy and nice staff. Amenities are basic but comfortable. The area is closer to the airport than most but still a 30min drive. The hotel will arrange a transfer in air-con car for 550Baht which is pretty good. The hotel is in a Thai orientated area so not much in the way of touristy type restaurants but plenty of street food vendors which I highly recommend. Family Mart and 7/11 right across the road or very near by.

Very good, clean hotel. Staff was very polite and helpful with lots of Information. I would recomend it everyone who needs to stay in suratthani if u dont catch the Last ferry to the islands.

1 night transit

Locate 45 mins away Surat Thani Airport. Seatran counter is locate arrival hall and the bus stopped in the main road. 100m walk to Centrino. Easy to get tuk tuk in the main road to Seatran Company which is selling combo ticket (Seatran company~Donsak pier~Koh Samui ) The room was clean and spacious with a comfort size balcony, TV, mini bar, air-cond and toilet amenities except toothpaste/toothbrush. Free wifi with good connection. You can find 7-11, many local eateries and local hawkers on the left side of the main road. Receptionists are nice and helpful.

Not satisfied with certain member of staff

We arrived around 8pm in a group of 6 and checked in with 2 friendly & helpful staff and left our luggage at the counter, they introduced us to a riverside Thai restaurant, which was really a delight of the night. As we returned to the hotel, a different member of staff showed us to our rooms. She showed us 2 bedrooms, one was a larger room (she insisted the room is more suitable for our group and persuade us to pay additional money or simply deduct from our key deposit). We suggested her to show us the original room but she ignore and she kept on insisting its nicer and more comfortable in the bigger room with the extra floor space. She also said that both room are connected via the balconies (with a wall in between, not even able to see each others).... lol... we totally felt cheated in a way.

Helpful staff

This is our second stay at this hotel. The hotel is more than adequate for the price. It would be better if there is an elevator especially if your room is on third floor.

Great value for money

We only stayed here for one night as we were just travelling through surrathani on our way to koh samui, but it was a welcome rest. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious and the complimentary water was a nice touch. Can't really comment on the surrounding area of the hotel as we we're only there as a stop over. I would stay here again.

Hotel is great value but away from the action

Hotel is very clean and great value for money. But there is little to do in the neighborhood after dark. Front desk employees spoke barely passable English but were very friendly.

It was a nice room and good for value place to stay SLEEP and nice staff, but not convenient otherwise, no service and very few English speaking. The location is far from downtown. Beside the cleaning of the room, there is no service provided: I didn't know where to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner and there is not much restaurant or place to buy food around Centrino. No alternative to the tuk tuk you have to go and wait for under the sun on the main road, a very difficult one to cross with no crossway. So when I check out, I had to walk by myself up to the main road carrying my suitcase and computer backpack and manage to cross the 2 sides of the main road with their central flowerbed in between !!

New hotel and nice room

Room was big and clean with balcony and great wifi. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Near to Central Plaza shopping mall. Not so near to the town. TV channel only with Thai language. Coming back at night a bit scary because dogs barking and you need to have something in hand to chase the dog away.

Clean and comfortable

The hotel is very new and the the room was clean but simple.The staff were extremely helpful and arranged a taxi to the airport. They also told a tuk tuk driver he was asking too much when we arrived at hotel we paid 50 baht rather than the 200 he was asking.

Very nice and clean Hotel with AC. I've had a very good night there and will stay there again if I come back to Surat Thani...

Tolles, sauberes Hotel in zentraler Flughafennähe

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Centrino und es war hervorragend. Ein riesiges Zimmer mit großen Betten. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und man hat sich von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Die Klimaanlage war sehr leise und tadellos. Weiterhin ein riesiger Kühlschrank mit freiem Wasser. Wir hatten einen Balkon und einen tollen Sessel. Für den Preis unschlagbar! Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, auch wenn nicht alle super englisch verstanden, war es kein Problem.

Very good

I stayed here two times on the row. All very good for the lovely price. All staff doesnt really communicate with english, but there is always somebody with enough languageskills. Recommended!

Good for a couple of nights.

Great clean rooms for a couple of nights before going to the islands. Only thing is that the beds are a bit on the hard sideside.

Остановились в этом отэле на ночь в ожидании. Видно сразу отель новый только с ремонта. Все чисто и окуратно . Одно не порадовало что позавтракать не удалось так как кафе просто не работало в это утро по не понятным причинам. А в остальном твердая четверка. А за эти деньги так и вовсе 5.
