Great property off the beaten path. I was expecting something nicer given the rating. Fantastic location.
Great location, clean, friendly staff. Older hotel with new decor.
Nice room and good value.
Came here for a bachelor party it went well!
As above
Unique boutique hotel with super friendly and helpful staff
Great location. Access to a lot of restaurants and not far from Canada Place.
Nice
Very nice. Clean and quiet. Friendly staff. Inner courtyard is a garden with trees and shrubs etc very nice.
Really loved this place. The staff were awesome and loved the nice surprise of complimentary bikes.
Great
Definitely coming back
Decent property in the heart of Vancouver. Very walkable everywhere and close to transit and Canada line.
Excellent customer service, room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance.
Fallen Disney characters art...
The staff all around were extremely helpful and versed on all of Vancouver's award winning attractions. The room was clean but one staff took extra time and attention over monitoring the bedding... He may have had a crush on my husband. Overall the courtyard garden was spectacular with fire pit, sitting areas and a ping pong table!!! [ my word I have not seen one of those since the 70's] Palm trees with magical twinkling lights flanked by rhodendrians pyrius', hostas, elephant ears and a mexican river rock faux river. They also have a piano and darling library in every language you can imagine. It is quite for dowtown Vancouver you can here yourself breathe but barely over the sirens which come at a frequent pace due to the St Paul hospital across the street.
Good hotel
Very good quick check in, room quite small but facilities were good. Staff were friendly and efficient.
Too much noise, from street , cars revving engines, ambulances. Too much noise, too much loud noise. How to sleep well? So much loud reverberating noise?!
Easy access from cruise terminal, Gastown, Stanley park and shopping.
It was small
Pre-cruise stay
Had a nice pre-cruise stay at the Burrard. Safe neighborhood , helpful staff and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Older hotel but kept in good condition. Note that beds were hard.
Clean and friendly staff!
It’s always great
The hotel staffs are very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The location is also fantastic in lively Vancouver Downtown.
The hotel was clean and the workers were very helpful. It was close to a lot of good restaurants and bars. I would recommend this hotel.
Perfectly located hotel with spotless rooms, friendly staff, and beautiful grounds !
Parking is challenging, not as clean . Very helpful staff
Staff never once made me feel welcome during my stay.
Perfect
It’s just okay. A place to lay your head
Hotel got an interesting garden inside that covers the parking. Location is great, walkable distance to everything you need.
Friendly hotel, front staff always willing to answer questions or lend an umbrella and bikes. We sat at the fire table at the end of each day, very relaxing after all the walking. Room was spotless! Would stay again and again.
Always a great place to stay in the center of the city.
Home away from home
Excellent value
Whenever we can, we book the Burrard in Vancouver. Great location and fits all our needs. Thenstaff is very friendly and cheerful. We send our relatives and our friends to The Burrard and they always thank us for it n
One of the most comfortable hotel beds I have experienced. Lots of road noise from Burrard Street.
I enjoy staying at The Burrard when I can!
Accessible to all. Nice and cozy. Staff are nice!
I liked the location, cleanliness and mid-century vibe
Horrible room, extremely small and bare bathroom. Sticky laminate floors and a noisy portable AC unit. Would not recommend!
Central to the area and city. Staff were wonderful, always smiling, ready to assist in any way. Site can be noisy, with sirens secondary to the hospital ER located across the street, but that was expected. The Burrard allowed us to enjoy and appreciate our one week stay in Vancouver. Thanks.
Employees were excellent, free bikes were very nice, property looks a little rough from the outside but the inside is fantastic. Only negative was a few fairs on one of the bathroom towels and bedsheets, but for the price this place is definitely worth it.
Nice hotel, convenient for restaurants, not too far to walk to Canada Place. No breakfast included, but cafe on site. Coffee machine temperamental, either overfilled small cups or dribbled out!
Helpful services
Very convenient for the hospital visit
I felt very secure and really like the location for medical appointments at the hospital across the street.
A jewel in Vancouver. Comfortable, clean and easy access to transportation.
The hotel rooms were clean well stocked but could hear neighbours. Nit the best location. Next door to homeless hostel. Even sleeping on the pavement. I didn’t feel safe in This area. Hotel felt mower like a motel with nicer rooms.
The beautiful court yard
I had an awesome day at the Burrard Hotel. Courtyard had a tropical feel to it with all the palm trees. The concierge staff were fantastic and very helpful. The rental bikes were great Marin bicycles, and better than I expected, but some of the hills are also bigger than I expected lol Small clean rooms in a convenient location downtown Vancouver. Interesting nonalcoholic beverages in the evening and small bag of snacks or veggie straws. Also umbrella loaners and can return all wet to the concierge. Overall, I found it very quiet, a little bit of sounds from one of the rooms next-door and the occasional . Café next-door was also great.
Safe part of town close to public transportation and places to eat. Room was clean, staff was kind, vibe on the property was good and parking was super secure! 10/10
Very helpful and friendly staff, great location to walk to V. downtown; appreciated the complimentary bike rental (helmet required in BC, though they have some loaners), also has one EV charging stall (Tesla).
Room was far smaller than photos present. Room was over 75 degrees when we arrived and portable air conditioner was excessively loud. Disappointing that hotel presents as modern but is certainly just quick-reno to cram many rooms into small space. No place to set luggage except on the floor which was an awful and shabby looking linoleum. It was within walking distance to many places we wanted to go and conveniently located. Prob wont book again though.
Value for the money! Clean, super comfortable beds, great coffee maker and water bottles provided. Central location. Had an air conditioner that helped as a white noise machine. Hospital is close by. Great coffee shop attached and loved the happy hour at Burgos also attached.
Friendly service and a really nice vibe. Loved the atmosphere and the location. Would stay again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We always stay at the Burrard when we are in Vancouver.
Style
Great spot to stay for 2 nights in downtown Vancouver within walking distance from all neighbourhoods and Stanley park. Easy access to airport, car hire companies and Hwy’s in/out of town.
For the hotels around this price level, the design is quite unique and impressive
This is a nice place, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is located not as close (as it sounds from their description) to the subway, and opposite a hospital, which makes it quite noisy (so bring ear plugs). Also, my mattress was terribly soft. But the location is super convenient for downtown Vancouver conferences, business stays, and events.
Not bad!
Decent place. Loud traffic noise in my room and terrible water pressure, just a trickle out the shower head. Price is right, and the place is well kept for what it is. No muss no fuss.
Bed bugs in our room. Will never stay again
Was nice location, friendly staff, room a little small but for the area good. Happy to have parking included thanks to my gold status with Expedia.
Solid location. Bed was comfy. Room had the basics like coffee/creamer, a water kettle, and also a mini fridge. Ping pong table = awesome. Bike rentals included which was a nice perk. The only downside: even with the heat turned all the way down, it was very warm (even though it was cool outside), so we were left with either opening the windows or running AC, both of which are pretty loud. Would def recommend ear plugs.
I had a terrible night stay last night here at the Burrard! The guy at your front desk did all he could without any security there which is nuts. I had to call down 5 times!, between around just before 2 am and 4 am as my neighbors next to me in 416 were so darn selfish and so inconsiderate and stayed up being loud and drunk and talking loud until! They got back at about 2 am and I was trying to sleep since 12 am. I went to same concert too but am quiet and respectful back at hotels! Not like these jerks. So I was stressed and a wreck and lacked sleep and had a headache for my drive back on the hwy to Kelowna and which they did not care about! The gals this am just brushed it off as out of their pay element. I tried to paint the story their way and now have to review accordingly and thousands see the reviews. Driving tired and with a headache is very dangerous and housekeeping were already doing their thing before 8 am as I was located right next to their supplies door. When I booked and when I checked in I proactively asked for QUIET! Not pleased and nothing done to compensate such a frustrating and lousy night! I had just given the Burrard kudos too on my 1st day of being a charming place to stay but walls are so super thin and there is no control over rowdy uncaring other guests. And zero security! Nol P, room 415, Wed am left. (Apr 23).
Very convenient location and friendly staff.
good location for a one night stay
Super chic and cute. Small but that's all part of its ch
Always a great stay. Friendly staff, great location and nice rooms.
Staff was excellent
Retro Oasis in the heart of Vancouver
We loved the retro vibe, and all of the little touches- little free library, piano to play in the parking garage, beautiful courtyard. The room itself was newly remodeled and clean and bright. The staff was exceptionally helpful- giving us an upgraded room so that we we didn't have to wait until check in. They also graciously held our luggage for us before our late flight.
All good!
Everything was great. Clean and tidy rooms, staff was very friendly and nice. The outdoor amenities were cool. Walking distance to many places downtown Vancouver. Only con was the parking garage was very small and tight! Would recommend staying here for sure!
This property is in the downtown area and close to many sightseeing locations and activities The curtain was broken and would not close completely for black out environment
Great location friendly place Clean
Well located and got free parking
Can’t beat the price for the area! Great beds and quiet for being right downtown. Definitely will be our choice next time we visit Vancouver
Lic
Was good for the price. Don’t expect luxury stay but it is an excellent location if you want to explore downtown area by walking around.
Wonderful place, great features, hood location, nice people!
Location is great!
Noisy
If you don’t tolerate noise well, this is not a stay for you. Portable AC unit is loud. I’m glad it was not sweltering hot to have to listen to this all night. Every time it started I thought a trick was rolling by. Lots of construction in the area that started at 8:30. So much for a good night rest.
Nice hotel, bordering on a sketchy area but clean and convenient for downtown access.
They provide rooms with coffee and herbal tea, I hope they add Black tea bags
For the price this place was unbelievable value. It's a pretty no frills property, but it was clean and in a terrific location. Checking in is a bit stressful if driving because there is technically no parking on the street in front of the lobby, however check in was really quick and they directed me how to access the on site parking. Overall it is definitely a great choice for a value conscious traveler.
It is by a hospital so there can be sirens going at all hours. They were experiencing some flooding during my stay so there was water cleanup going on. Staff was very friendly. The café next door had good food and beverages. Walking distance to downtown and loads of restaurants and shopping.
The place are accessible and close for everything. The staff of the hotel are very helpful.
I like that its enclosed and its own private area in the middle of the town and parking was gated although dont recommend for trucks (F150 was tight). The theme was really nice that it was old fashion but clean. It advertised that continental is available but this is not true. I also wasn't a fan the shampoo and body soap is a 2 in 1.. not ideal for females.
good location
This place is my new favourite hotel in Vancouver. Perfect location to walk to tons of places. I had a room at the front of the hotel and there was little noise for me. Staff is awesome, rooms clean, very clean. Price is affordable
The courtyard was a complete surprise--a good surprise.
Great propery, would stay here again. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond on correcting a mistake I had made by myself.
This is a beautiful hotel. It has an excellent location with all the eateries, tourist places and bus and train stations close by. It has ample parking and very pretty appearance with an external fireplace and a terrace garden. The staff was friendly and welcoming. My only disappointment was with the misleading information on the Expedia website stating breakfast is available. Moreover, I double checked with the night staff if it will be available and was reassured that it does. It resulted in me getting late in the morning for an appointment as I had to buy breakfast from outside and leave in a hurry.
The staff were super sweet. I love how I could borrow an umbrella and bicycle. The location is perfect and walkable to great shopping, food, and a bike ride away from beach and Stanley Park. My bathtub was not draining properly which was very unfortunate but then after I alerted the staff, they got someone to come fix it right away while I was out. Also, the light switch by the bed was really small so I couldn't figure it out at first. The staff helped me figure that out though too. What was also really cute about the staff was how they offered a non-alcoholic drink and snack in the evening. They also always had the little fireplace going and I saw people always enjoying that space. The palm trees are pretty. There was constriction noise during the day but luckily I was out during most the day. There was a lot happening in the city while I was there and I used the maps at the front desk to help me navigate! Overall, it was a really cute and convenient spot and good value.
Great staff, and a perfect location for what we needed. Will definitely stay there again.
Great location and very friendly staff.
It was nice clean and at a walkable distance from Rogers Arena. The coffee job adjacent to the hotel was super convenient as well. Overall a good stay and would stay here again!
Very noisy at night with sirens from the hospital across the street and the checkout was not the best
Great hotel with friendly staff, great location
Rooms were clean and ready for us staff was great too. A great place to stay
Smells bad
It was pretty good and nice
Would stay here again.
The property could do with a little upgrade. That having been said the staff were very friendly.
