The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Parking was a little difficult, but one of the staff members helped me get a spot close to my room. The room was clean, it smelled good, but had a couple flies. The TV was a bit hard to operate unless you had just the right angle with the remote. Overall, a safe and clean place to stay and a convenient walk to the beach and boardwalk.

Nice stay

This was a family trip and we rented 3 rooms. All were clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was a bit loud but overall everything was nice.

It was nice and quiet the whole time we stayed there and the staff was friendly

Nice place.

This has been our second year staying here for the Oceans Calling Festival. It’s within walking distance to the festival and boardwalk and has well maintained manicured property with a pool and a little “bar”. Rooms are basic/generic and this year there was an additional parking fee but overall it’s a nice place with friendly owners /management

Bed bug beware

The room had a horrible smell upon entey. Then found 3 dead bugs on a pillow which i learned to be bed bugs, after getting bit over 21 bites.

Easy access to parking and the room. Well lit parking area. Enjoyed the outside seating on the 2nd floor.

There was no phone in the room , not enough wash clothes or towels , the window a/c unit blinds didn't close. no tissue

Overall it was a great place to stay. Clean, nice staff when we checked in which was easy and fast. Rooms are more modernized than the others down there. I did not like that that put a note ok your door saying you can extend you stay but when we went to extend they told us someone already had the room. So we used the other option which was $15 hr to extend your stay but we couldnt stay pass 1pm. The card that was use to pay for the extension was not the card associated with the room. We had two room but only extend one. Once we check out they charged my card $40 saying we did not return the keys to the room that was not extended and was checked out at 11am. When i asked about them charging my card she said oh dont worry about it. Outside of the card issue it was a good place to stay.

The rooms are very dirty and run down, with limited staff in the kitchen.

Kind folks & comfortable

Overall lovely experience, hosts were super nice and when we arrived early they were able to accommodate our early arrival. Please what we were not happy with were the outlets in the room from time to time did not work or very slimy and it was very difficult to figure out how to use the television. But we would definitely book there again.

My stay

The hotel floor was dirty but smelled like pinesol Bed Sheetz were clean and the bed was comfortable also there were holes where mice chewed and we had a baby mouse in the bathroom behind the toilet I attached a video of the mouse the staff was very nice

The property had no cleaning supplies in apartment beds were leaning to side broken night lamp very outdated it was overpriced.

Overall not a bad place to stay. Parking was $10 per day per car, which I don’t agree with. There was daily service with new towels and wash cloths. The Internet was pretty slow, but was at least included. The pool was saltwater, which was nice. But it is a little small.

Very disappointed in our stay. We got the keys and everything and we asked where is room 14, we were told it was across the street. So we put back our luggage in car, drove across unpack luggage and found out it wasnt really there. Packed our luggage again and drove back to original site and there it was. We just lost 40 extra mins of our daylight time. So we got in our room, AC is not even cold, there is sand all over the floor and no shampoo and conditioner provided. We asked at the lobby if they have any shampoo at least, they said no. Beds are flimsy looking. For high price they charge, I am very disappointed in this place. TV does not even work.

Waste of money

Our room was so bad we didnt feel comfortable staying overnight. We opened the door to a overly perfume smelling room, the walls were bowing out, floor were flimsy ( felt like we were going to go through them), bathroom not cleaned, beds were uncomfortable to sit on as well as it was stuffy and the air conditioner wasnt working well. Meanwhile the deadbolt on the door didnt work nor did the door itself close correctly.

Pricey

The room was a good space, didn't like the shower it was a bit small. The front desk staff were friendly. The Wi-Fi repeatedly disconnected for no reason and that was a little annoying as well.

This is my favorite place or my “go to” whenever vacationing. Thank you so much I will be back!

My experience for this place was horrible they need some serious remodeling to do for the money they charge us crazy the room had a horrible smell to it bathroom didn’t seem clean at all if i could give this place a 0 i would just so sad please spend your money elsewhere!!!

Worst hotel we ever stayed in. The pictures on Expedia are misleading and do not represent what this hotel looks like. Our room was dirty, we had towels with hair on all of them, and there was hair on the bed. The shower was dirty and there was no space to put your shower amenities. They do not offer soap, shampoo, or hairdryers. The window unit was gross and very loud. I did not sleep due to the high noise of the window unit. The lady who checked us in was extremely rude and the check-in took very long too. You also have to pay for parking.

Well that was an experience…

No hot water our entire stay. Tv remote did not work. Mini fridge was leaking all over the room. Maintenance did come up to the room but nothing was ever fixed or rectified. Hotel charged $10 parking fee for guests…??? Drunk people were running up all over and someone tried to come into our room at like 1am and continued to push on the door yelling loudly. Checked out first thing in the morning… won’t be back.

Quick stay… comfortable and accommodating

A quick over night stay as my band was playing in OC that weekend.

Overall great

Got a suprise $100 security deposit at the door that was never mentioned online. Didn't think much of it so i just payed, figured id get it back. Me and my girlfriend stayed ther for 2 days and left the place in good shape just how we got it when we left, never got that money back. Moneys been toght lately so that definitely didn't help things at all back home. Thanks for ruining the rest of the month for us

Room 23 was very dirty and I mean very dirty. Would not stay again. Locks on outer doors were like the ones you find on bathroom doors. Did not feel safe. They also charge for parking by day. Over all ruff place.

The staff was great! I love this motel we will be staying every stay from now on. The pool was awesome sitting area extremely quiet and very pleasant!

Terrible property. Could not stay due to mice poop and roaches everywhere. Despite being a health hazard they did not give us our money back even though I was told and assured from the front desk manager they would refund our money. Not only did I pay through Expedia to purchase the room, I was charged AGAIN for the room upon arrival at a completely different price which is fraudulent and plan on having this place investigated. Total waste of time and money.

Best hotel to go to. Amazing. They hired a new staff member. And gave us the wrong keys before they left home. We got the wrong room and we called. They immediately came over and apologized and gave us the right key and made sure our room was good. Even though we got the wrong room, they treated the situation perfectly. No complaining no nothing. She made sure we were good before she left. Would definitely recommend

Cheap motel - you get what you pay for, read

Had bed bugs No air conditioning and temperature was unseasonably warm in high 70’ s And low 80’s Ending our two night stay after night one and requested refund Front d sk attendant said she would contact the Owner and will get back to me. As a f This comment, have not heard on the refund

Good time

It was a good place to have a good time with your couple, the installations was comfortable, quiet and friendly, the only thing that was not like it, the reception didn't provide the wifi password, the room hasn't conditioning air.

Had cockroaches climbing the walls. Floors were cracked and sharp to walk on. Shower was completely covered in mold. Whole room had a horrible smell. Ceiling fan was sooo loud.

No thank you

Although quite clean, the room left a lot to be desired. The beds were uncomfortable and one was unusable. The bathroom faucets were switched so I burnt my hand on the “cold” water. When I told staff I was told “sorry we are renovating”. Will not stay here again. I’ve stayed in places that cost half as much but were twice as good.

A pleasant stay

We stayed here for The Oceans Calling festival. For the price (I booked really early!) the room exceeded expectations. It's not fakcy but it's nice. We had everything we needed and the staff was very helpful!

We checked in early to go to a festival. We told the manager Candis, we would not be back until after 11. She promised she would leave the keys in the mailbox for us since the office would be closed. Got back at 11:30 no keys. Had to wait until 1:00am to get in our room and that was after calling the manager many times and contacting the hotel on Facebook.

They got a stove in the room

Room is great, the stove is great since I precooked food and brought it to the beach for my special diet. Warming up food on the stove made it so much better then having to microwave it. They did have a microwave too but the stove was nice to have. The pool is nice here too

Property was great, in a good location. Property was clean, rooms were cool. Parking was tight for $10 extra a night seemed like overkill, definitely bad business. Hot water ran out too fast in the shower.

Not a clean place to stay

The one positive was the location. The Inn is just a few minutes walking from the beach and boardwalk. Unfortunately, everything else was a disappointment. The level of cleanliness was awful. The bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned (there was pee in the toilet and on the toilet seat when we arrived), there were cobwebs and spiders hanging from the light fixtures, the patio chairs were full of paint chips and dust etc. The room was small, the walls were paper thin so you could hear everything outside, and the street lights shone through the window making it hard to sleep. (The curtains didn’t block any light at all.) We won’t ever be staying here again.

Awesome place to stay! The staff was so accommodating, and friendly. - I personally wasn’t a fan of the bed, but that’s not a problem. Just an opinion.

Staff were extremely pleasant, the additional hour on our departure date was a perfect extension, only complaints would be that when we arrived the room smelled like it was sprayed down with (more than enough) disinfection yet the floor was not swept/mopped because we let our 1 year old loose and she had black hands and knees and you could feel the sand and grime on our bare feet, also the silverware wasn't cleaned and even a white towel had some orange spots on it. Lastly, Im not sure the standard for this but the pool closed at like 8pm which was kinda wack considering we had to come back earlier than we would have liked with the 1 year old and then the 13 year olds had nothing to do but sit on their phones on vacation... I would expect at least until 10 on a beautiful Saturday Summer night at the beach...

There was nothing great, but nothing terrible about the stay. Would stay again for a budget option, just don't go in thinking that is going to be an extravagant experience and you should be satisfied with your stay

Nothing fancy, but clean.

The Burgundy Inn is nothing fancy, but it is clean. We did not hang in our room very much, it was just enough to sleep, clean up and get ready for the day.

Amazing staff well located

What an amazing customer service. Everyone was amazing and made our trip better. Hotel is well.located but on a busy street (we stayed in the west building) could get loud in the morning with all the cars Everything was fine

You get what you pay for

Walls are paper thin. We would get woke up constantly by neighbors. Rooms are small and hardly any room in the bathrooms. Not super clean but we got what we paid for. Employees are super friendly and helpful though!

Quiet no frills property nice place to sleep close to boardwalk and the ocean staff is very helpful all you have to do is ask and if they can do it they'll do it. This is an older hotel in the downtown area inexpensive place to stay in Ocean City Maryland. Just remember you're not staying at the Ritz.

It was near the beach

Cute little place to stay. Mini fridge and microwave in the unit I rented.

We could only check in and hour and a half after check in. When we finally got in the unit, there was a leak in the kitchen sink and bathroom sink, the sink upstairs had a clog that was not fixed until later the second day we were there. There was no hot water the entire time we were there. This is a unit that slept 16, they gave no linens for the 2 sofa beds, that were covered in sand and dirty as could be. We had urine in one of the trash cans upon arrival. We had to go to staff multiple times during the trip. It was very disappointing.

Small TV and rooms floor was dirty

Paid $700 for two rooms for two nights. July 4th and 5th. Do not trust the photos! One room, bad A/C; took until almost 10pm to fix after multiple conversations. No rugs, sand get everywhere. One room bathroom door so warped that it couldn’t be shut and hinges missing several screws. Floor was sagging and felt soft. Neither room could use both locks. Poor maintenance and upkeep. Charged me $20 to park before check in and then $20 to park during my stay. Ice was $6! Window A/C wasn’t installed fully. You could literally peak through it to see into the room (see pic). Felt unsafe. Showers were terrible. Bed were very old and desperately need replaced. Stains on sofa. Just looked dirty. We wouldn’t sit in them. Picnic table umbrellas were broken. Smelled like weed everywhere. No soap in one room. Staff was friendly enough but this place was a major disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Don’t stay here. It did smell clean and floors looked at felt clean on check in. Bathroom as well.

On two different nights that I stayed here, there were insects crawling on my bed. Customer service was not good and the air conditioning did not work. Would not recommend at all

Awesome weekend away. We stayed 3 nights and couldn’t have been happier with location. The staff was super friendly and very attentive if needed. They let us park and use the pool prior to our check in time since the room was not yet ready. We arrived around 1..check in was 3 and our room was ready at 3 exactly. The location is perfect! Our room was the perfect size for 2 (couple in their mid 20s) We would definitely stay again!

I got a single room and it was so hot and humid. The air conditioner barley worked, then the next morning I tried to take a shower and the water wouldn’t get warm at all. I checked out after one day

Don’t stay here no AC

Not a good place to stay AC did not work had to open all windows doors either had punch marks or cracks. Railing outside was not sturdy so if a child was to lean on it could break. Tv don’t work remote did not work. Water in shower sucked took forever to get it warm. I do t stay here again unless it was updated.

Will not be staying here ever again!!! You get what you pay for that’s for sure! Even though the bed looked clean, everything smelled like smoke!!! Could not breath! The rooms have disgustingly dirty carpets!!!! SO GROSS!!!!! Literally could NOT take my shoes off at all!!! Little tip.... by replacing the carpet the rooms would reek less of smoke!!! And those who would like to smoke, have 1 designated area, NOT outside the room with doors open. DISGUSTING!!!!!

Not the cleanest hotel & definitely not what is advertised online. Hotel did not have enough on site parking spots. However, the front desk staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable despite the rundown appliances and appearance. Just for somewhere to sleep, the hotel isn’t terrible. Definitely not worth the price I paid tho

Loved the location! It was perfect for our bachelorette weekend!

The property is only a few blocks from the board walk which was fantastic! Although we did not use the pool we saw others enjoying it daily. There was constant cleaning and renovation to the property which was very nice to see. Our room came with a small tv that had many channels however! 3/4th bath, dresser and a couch that could be turned into a bed. The room was perfect for my boyfriend and I. There were little details within the room that were flawed however with how great the staff was Im sure these will be taken care of!

Absolutely DISGUSTING place to stay. Parking was not even available and had to park down the road. False advertising with kitchen, nice rooms, etc. and we arrived to a SMALL nasty 1 room 1 small DIRTY bathroom. Towels have brown stains all over them. Dirty toilet, shower, and mirror. Ceiling fan has about 2 inches of dust on it. All of the trim has dirt in it. The door did not even properly close. I would not recommend this place to a mouse.

wedding /vacation

No complaints, it was a little dark, maybe could of used more lighting, the blinds could of been a little better, the shower curtain was a pain but all in all was great.

Such an old unkept place. No ice, coffee, etc! Staff is EXCELLENT & goes out of their way to make a bad situation BETTER!! 😏

Close to the beach and boardwalk, we would stay there again.
