The owner Kathy was awesome. Very helpful. Help me straighten out my reservation. Negotiate your taxi fee in advance. Several of us stayed there and thought that $15 US a person from the airport to the location was steep. Otherwise my stay was terrific!

My daughter and I traveled to Belize together for a homeschool getaway/ Christmas present! I was leery about this trip as it would just be her and I - no men- and it’s Central America after all. Cathy and Dan (the owners) were fabulous hosts, who were on site and available the entire duration. Ms Cathy or Ms Vinnie (the most beautiful and kind soul) were up and ready to prepare us breakfast every morning (at the requested time no less!) We really came to enjoy and look forward to our first meal of each day - as it got us off to a great start! Delicious! Ms Cathy turned us on to our driver … Toni… who my daughter and I used all week long. Toni was an excellent addition to our daily excursions! He picked us up and brought us back daily from our different destinations and outtings! The trip was amazing as a whole, but having a safe haven, good cooking and a reliable driver really catapulted our experience. We cannot thank you enough for your beautiful hospitality and care. Host Cathy is amazing. Knowing we were arriving Christmas Day and that nothing would be open, she had a wonderful dinner prepared for us…on the house! Rooms are super comfy and clean. She also organized an airport pickup and tour of Altun Ha (through driver Tony, also a gem). She even took the time to say goodbye as she needed to run some errands while we were preparing to depart. We’ll definitely be visiting again our next trip to Belize! Oh, and they have puppers!

The owner was very nice and provided a delicious breakfast. There’s a small pool but it’s all you need. It’s a close 10 minute taxi ride to the airport, but there’s nothing walkable without having a vehicle or calling a taxi. Room was clean and had a very nice stylish decor.

Cathy was very friendly and made our short stay very pleasant. Tony our driver was also friendly, professional and knowledgeable about Belize in general

I was travelling solo to Belize from Canada. I had a couple days to spare before heading to a conference on the island of Belize so I decided to stay at this gem close to the airport so I could explore the area a bit. The staff & owners are extremely accommodating and caring. I felt safe and comfortable. It was the perfect place to rest after my long travels. My room was clean and the shower was huge! The pool was right outside my room and was refreshing during the humid weather. Highly recommend!

Vinny & the dogs make the whole stay! Pool right outside the rooms is a great way to cool off. Rooms are cleans and quiet. Breakfast is delicious. Very close to the airport . Would definitely stay here again.

Last minute booking. Met Dan the owner and he checked us in. Great room, very clean, very comfortable, very quiet. Incredible breakfast made just for us in the morning. They even called a taxi to get us to the airport. Highly recommend if you need a place close to the airport.

Beautiful safe place near the airport.

Cathy and Dan are terrific hosts! This is our second time staying there and highly recommend The B&B on Triggerfish. The Belizean breakfast is wonderful as well! The beds are very comfortable and a welcome relief after a couple of weeks of not so comfortable accommodations.

Wonderful 1 night stay with friends!

We had an amazing stay! Kathy went above and beyond. We ate 2 meals while there and they were fantastic. We felt so welcome, like old friends Resort is a little bit off the beaten path, but close to the airport and a lovely property. Right outside the pool you have trees with iguana hidden amongst the branches, so peaceful and relaxing . The room was lovely, air condition cool, comfortable bed and hot water If ever back in the area, we will definitely stay at this establishment again.

Such a lovely place, with great hosts and hearty food! The room was immaculate, comfortable and the hosts just made us feel welcome and at home. It is a shame it was only for one night, it was a lovely evening.

The best place I’ve stayed at is cozy, nice, and makes you feel right at home. Great food, owners are super nice, and attend to all your needs. I needed a ride to town, and the hotel owner went out of her way to drive me. We would stay here every time I return.

Close to airport

Quiet unassuming great BNB

This little BNB was the best overnight stop on our way out to Ambergris. The owners and so friendly and the puppers were great little greeters. Bed was comfy and shower was great after a long flight. The pool was refreshing. Our dinner was just what we needed and the breakfast was enough for us to share, but we didn't. Taxi was sent to pick us up and take us back for our flight. I'd definitely stay here again is we need to before heading to the island.

This is a well maintained bed and breakfast with excellent service in a quiet and safe neighborhood close to the airport (10 min drive, 30 BZD). Stay here to be close to the airport and away from the noise/crowd of the city. The only downside is the lack of restaurants in walking distance so you’ll have to rely on the somewhat pricey but convenient (and tasty) lunch/dinner at the BNB. We liked the breakfast and the manager Vinny was great at her job!

This is the second time I stayed here. It is close to the airport. Dinner and breakfast are available. They even arranged a taxi to pick me up at the airport. I even had time to sit by the pool this time.

Comfort in Stressful Times

Cathy was an amazing host and accommodated three different families stuck in Belize City due to airline delays. She kept the kitchen open late, helped with getting people out the door, and even coordinated returning one family's personal belongings that had been left behind. I would relish the chance to go back and use the BNB on Triggerfish as the home base for a longer visit. Thank you again!

We had a wonderful stay. Cathy is a wonderful host. She connected us with a local Taxi driver, Tony, who helped with getting around. She helped us arrange excursions as well and was a wonderful resource altogether. I would recommend! The bnb was safe, clean, and close to the airport ! Just go ahead and book ;)

Great Little Inn Close to the Airport

We had a wonderful stay. The beds were very comfortable with quality linens. We were treated to breakfast in the morning before enjoying a quick dip in the pool before our flight. This hotel is very close to the airport and makes a perfect pit stop between international and domestic flights.

Perfect stay near the airport. Loved chatting with the owners and hearing their Belize story. Much better than a hotel in town.

Relaxing spot to start or end BZ vacay

Our host, Cathy, as well as some of the guests, provided valuable input on what to do and where to stay while in Belize. Even the cabbie that Cathy called for us would have been an incredible tour guide.

Friendly and accommodating

Wonderful check-in and access to a late dinner. Caution - The roads from the airport to the property are challenging in the dark - a lot of turns, foot traffic, and potholes, and few street lights.

The staff was wonderful! They made us feel right at home. The property is close to the airport so it’s very convenient for a stay before a trip.

Location was surprisingly inconvenient. Also must pay extra for breakfast. But nice people, good facility & good breakfast.

Beautiful BnB! Came for a quick overnight after getting delayed at the airport. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful shower. Wonderful pool onsite with gorgeous iguanas roaming outside. Had a homemade breakfast onsite and it was delicious. Kathy was super helpful calling a taxi for us and arranging transportation to the airport. Wish we could’ve stayed a few more days.

This was a true bed and breakfast, and the owners were fun. The property was easy to find and was central to all of the activities we had planned.

Comfort and hospitality near the airport

It’s very comfortable, and the people who run it are so nice. The food is good, too. It’s close to the airport, has good WiFi, and we recommend it!

We had a lovely overnight at this property located very near the airport. Hosts Dan and Cathy and property manager Vinny are delightful, friendly and attentive. They arranged cab transportation from the water taxi harbor and to the airport the next day.The rooms are clean and spacious and I enjoyed the lap pool right outside our door. The menu of house made meals is terrific. The chicken pot pie especially calls for a return visit.
