Arrived very late one night off the ferry at Belfast, friendly team, clean warm room just a bit oldy worldly. Overall, a cheap option.

Lovely venue and vet food value for money

Outdated. Fixtures are poorly maintained, heater doesn’t work, shower curtain embraces you as you wash. Nice location, attentive staff.

Overnight stay in Banbridge

I chose this hotel as I was travelling back from Belfast and wanted to be in the area for the Game of Thrones Experience. It was ideally located and very reasonable including breakfast. Room was very spacious for a single. I'd recommend.

Bannville Hotel has the most friendliest staff, most clean and comfortable rooms we stayed in on our week trip to Northern Ireland. I would recommend and will stay again at this lodge!!

Could do a lot better!

Pros: plenty parking, easy to find, good food. Cons: very uncomfortable bed, 2 single beds pushed together doesn't make a king size, small tv, spiders in room, poor decor, fixed head shower / straight curtain pole does not make for a good shower experience, small thin towels, basic in-room facilities, stains on walls / ripped carpets in hallway, dated and very cheap cutlery in restaurant and no WiFi for the duration of my stay. Not a place I'll book again, sorry.

Family Event

Spent a lovely couple of nights in the hotel. Visiting for a family event which was catered for in the hotel. Very spacious family room and the staff were excellent.

Nice staff, rooms are getting tired and are in need of refurbishment. The corridors have been freshly painted, so they may well be in the process of refurbishment. Busy restraunt, although no issues getting a seat. Food is very nice and well presented.

It was for the purpose of getting a nights sleep before a long return journey and it was perfect. We didn’t need a pool or anything just a good nights sleep and a breakfast and it provided both perfectly. Very happy.

Arachnaphobes nightmare, technophobes dream

The hotel is in a good location, and the staff were friendly. However there was no disabled parking spots on arrival. Check in was easy and staff friendly. Unfortunately it was clear the room had either been left a whole between bookings and not checked or just hadn't been properly dusted. There were a lot of cobwebs, particularly around the top of the room and we had to kill more than a dozen spiders that has set up home and had time to build significant homes. As an aracnaphobic it left me on edge. Of we hadn't arrived late and been so tired we probably would have complained or found somewhere else to go as it was rather off putting. The walls are thin at the hotel, sleep was disturbed by other guests loud TV's, doors opening and closing and loud talking in the corridor. The other biggest downside was the lack of WiFi in the rooms, WiFi is only available in the bar/restraint not in the hotel rooms, which in this day and age is a bit poor in my opinion. It would be easy for them to solve and would make a huge difference to guests in my opinion. Sadly I can't say I'd go back to the banville due to the lack of cleanliness and theack of WiFi.

Shower was cold, water running down wall from room above on to toilet roll.

Exterior of the property is not that great but the room, bathroom were excellent. The staff very pleasant. But overall with the room, it was like great.

It was a lovely stay at Banville. It has a very chilled atmosphere there and the food in the restaurant is amazing too! 2 thumbs up!

Friendly staff. Terrible rooms

Staff very friendly, food was very nice but room quality was terrible. White painted furniture with paint chipped and flaking. Bathroom had mildew on seal at the floor under the sink

The staff and service was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were a little limited. Room was a bit tired looking with damage to the future and in need of update and modernization.

Great 5 night stay

Booked this for a recent work trip. We were both really pleased with the hotel. Great value for the area.. The food was all excellent with good service always. The room was very decent and comfortable. Will definitely return.

Lively stay

A very large room with complimentary breakfast. Comfortable bed and very friendly staff. Plenty of parking.

Hotel in the middle of some sort of renovation work. Area half done. Wet carpets in communal areas. Furniture tired.

Disappointing

Due to the partially painted doors and furniture,they are obviously in the middle of redecorating so difficult to give an accurate review.Carpets very old and grubby but judging by the amount of paint of them,they seem to be going to replace them . Staff were very helpful.Good dinner menu and large portions of good quality food,however quite bland.Huge breakfast ,again with good quality but soggy potato and soda bread and some of the meat items undercooked. Ok for a short stay.

It was under going some refurbishment at the time of our visit but the staff were very helpful and the food was great. Will come again.

Due to the covid rulings the kitchen closed early. However the food was excellent quality & value for money.

Such a beautiful hotel, the room was spacious and immaculate, the staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. I will definitely be back, and I would highly recommend.

est Place in Banbridge

From Check-in to Check-out, staff are always extremely helpful, and especially Lynn who goes out of her way to make sure all your needs are met. Food always great, and is always piping hot - just the way we like it. Thanks again to everyone for making our short stay enjoyable.

Demanded payment when checking in Was told in the morning when departing payment hadnt gone through ,even though i had a receipt Second payment taken Three emails sent as no refund was checked into a room which had carpet pulled up,and drills on the bed Returned to reception and got another room Had drove from kerry and had a full days work done so it was near 10 when checking in so just wanted to get straight to bed Weetabix wer three months out of date at breakfast the following morning

This was fit for purpose, and convenient for the overnight transit. Good value stay.

Liked that the hotel was clean. Having stayed here numerous times before, I was incredibly disappointed to find the staff alot less friendly than usually, the food having went down hill, the staff honestly couldn't of been less friendly if they tried. When checking out, the gentleman behind the desk may aswell of pushed us out the door. We didn't feel at all welcome and the place has definitely went down hill. We won't be back after that stay. Very disappointed.

Lovely warm welcome from friendly attentive staff for our 3rd stay here. Hotel is a lovely building set in nice grounds and has easy access to surrounding towns and countryside. Rooms are a good size, clean and well furnished. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We will definitely be back.

Ireland Tour

Room was large. Heating had been turned up high and was very hot. Possibly a little outdated but very old style comfortable. In a nice quiet location. Shower curtain tends to wrap itself around you.

Grandes chambres mais l’état général à revoir

Il nous aura fallu 3 chambres : la première le chauffage était à fond et impossible de le baisser ou d’aérer, la seconde le plafond des toilettes n’avait plus de plâtre et de l’eau coulait au travers, la 3e était la bonne. L’hôtel semble avoir été réhabilité mais tout n’a pas été repris ce qui donne une impression de travaux inachevés voire mal faits. Heureusement le personnel s’est montré compréhensif et est charmant.

Big party going on, lack of parking, lot of noice outside on parking and inside in the corridors. Took payment from credit card although mentioned on the reservation would pay in cash.

Wir wurden sehr herzkich empfangen. im hotel fühlt man sich wie zuhause sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der chef hatt mit uns sogar noch ne Rundfahrt gemacht, wir werden sicher wieder mal nach ins Banville house zurückkehren ,TANDRAGEE 100 war der hammer Besten Dank an alle Irländer liebe grüssse aus der Schweiz Coni and Fäger weiter so THANKS ALOT
