Good

The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I believe it was Marissa who first helped us when we arrived and she was just a lovely person. Iris helped us rent a mobility scooter for my mom and she was terrific too.

Overall its not a bad hotel, the rooms need some work. Its relatively close to the parks which makes it a bonus and The Pizza Press restaurant is attached and they are pretty good.

Very Dated Bathrooms

Hotel is dated. Bathrooms are in very poor condition, laquer on the vanities chipping, spider was in the shower, the dryall on the ceiling in the bathroom is wet, there is water damage from the room above. Room itself was fine. But for Disney prices, hotel is in dire need for a refresh.

Great location for Disneyland!

The people working were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately our room smelt of mold, ac didn’t work, and our bath tub leaked and had to switch rooms.

Had blood on carpet in our room lots of broken tiles in bathroom, cracked sink. Floor was filthy. In need of carpet cleaning and repairs!

Anaheim hotel is a perfect stay for the Disneyland traveler. Close to the park with great amenities. A total thumbs up! The mid century vibe is wonderful.

Nice hotel

We always try staying at this hotel when we go to Disney, its close and clean. Beds are super comfy. They have a pizza shop if you need to get something to eat. Staff is so friendly.

Great grounds - lots of fun things to do. Super clean, convenient, and cute! Will definitely return.

Very cute, retro modern, beautiful pool, lawn games, close to everything

Great location for visiting Disneyland, but the property itself is not in great shape (peeling paint on metal roofs, structures not well maintained in back areas). The front buildings (lobby especially) are very nice. About a 10 minute walk to the front gates of Disneyland and California Adventure. The room itself was fine. You get what you pay for.

Everything was good

Great location. But next time I’ll be staying somewhere else. The conditions of the lobby and exterior are great. The rooms are outdated, the carpet smelled, and it was very humid and muggy in the room, which made it smell like mold. The bathroom fixtures are in desperate need of a remodel.

It’s called a hotel, but it’s more like a motel. The lobby was nice, as well as the courtyard, but the actual rooms/buildings are in need of painting and updated bathrooms. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The service in the restaurant was painfully slow. They said they were busy serving breakfast to conventioneers. It was a 6 minute walk to Disneyland, which was convenient.

The Mid century modern look is stunning, detailed, and so adorable.

This was a great hotel very close to Disney, made walking each day very easy. The pool was AMAZING! We arrived early and they had our room ready which was a nice surprise. Help me arrange transportation back to the airport. The only downside was the bathrooms are so tiny, it made it hard to get ready in the morning. I would definitely stay here again!

Really great location and the hotel was nice! Room was clean, a little dated. If you have the option to get a room with an upgraded bathroom I would definitely recommend. The bathrooms felt a little dated.

would stay there again

Because of Anaheim Hotel's poor electrical system, we had a medical emergency. The medical device my 7 year old daughter needs to be plugged in to charge. Every single electrical outlet in the room was faulty, This is a device which has never had issues charging in other hotels and in our home. When this device fails, my daughter requires medical intervention.

Great location

The outdoor areas look wonderful and pristine. Inside of the rooms look good ,but definitely outdated and a little old. Real close to disneyland which was great and the pizza press is delicious

Honestly nothing like the photos shown online. I was incredibly disappointed. Our room was falling apart and SO small. The bathroom door barely opened enough to the point where you would have to squeeze into the corner behind the toilet in order to close the door. Convenience factor was nice to be across the street, but I would’ve rather walked 10 more minutes to have more space and a nicer room.

Old hotel but renovated and close to Disneyland

We LOVED the room with 2 king sized beds! Enough sleeping space for my 2 boys (9 and 5) and my spouse and I! However, we thought these rooms included the patio or balcony and it does not. The room was big, but no outdoor space we were hoping to use for our stroller. Room was clean, however, We noticed moisture build up on the window after using the shower and a bit of a musty smell when first entering the room. Bedding and towels were clean but carpet was old and left my kids with soiled socks after walking around on it. Service was great and hotel amenities were awesome. We also enjoyed pizza press. We could tell that this is an older hotel, but it was nicer than others that are with in walking distance to Disneyland.

There was no milk or any breakfast unless you order the previous night.

The place is Run down; im for sure there is a mold in the bathroom, in this price range , ill find another visit to the disney nest time.

Unexpected charges

I was never given a final receipt and payed $200 more than what we booked it for. Then was told by front desk that $100 dollar would go back on to my card. And never received that as well. Still waiting on my final receipt explaining the additional $200.

Great location for Disney

You can’t beat the location to and from the park, the hotel is very convenient. Just keep in mind it is a bit older and the bathrooms need a lot of work. However, the employees are very nice and it feels very safe.

The room wasn’t very clean: lots of dust and stray hair around. The room was pretty run down, for example lots of places where the paint or baseboard was chipped. Looked like an old hotel in need of upkeep.

Nice location, clean rooms, nice pool. Bathroom is outdated and shower faucet is difficult to operate, be careful if you let your child shower alone because they can easily get burned.

Short Disney trip

Bathtub was not clean Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Room was ample.

Pros: Clean property and lobby, plus a large pool. Quick walk to Disneyland. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Cons: Dated and a bit worn. I never got a hot shower - water was lukewarm and then would turn cold. The crooners music got old. Still searching for the best hotel near Disneyland.

Lovedd the convenience and access to our vehicle. Evening staff was delightful. Close proximity to the Disney park. No elevator to room but there was a ramp. Only down fall was a broken vending machine near the ice machine. Wanted a juice beverage but machine was broken

Our regular place to stay.

This hotel has old bones but tries to update every so often. The pool area is great. The beds are comfy. And it’s such a quick walk to the parks.

This property is one of the worst I have stayed in recent years, property is in dire need of repair and the staff just kept saying how old the property is. Old is not an issue in a well maintained building. Pictures and actual room are night and day different and bathrooms are borderline usable. Guarantee I won’t be returning to that place.

The lobby was well updated and looked nice. The room was not great. The shower had a hole in the wall that was poorly patched and water was definitely going into the wall. The shower also took hours to drain after each shower. Did I mention that someone else's hair was all over the shower walls when I got there, too. Blood stain on the baseboard in the bathroom. The AC didn't seem to work, luckily there was a fan in the room. The room was just very old and not well maintained. However, the proximity to Disney was great, and was the only reason why we picked it. Likely will not stay here again unless they go through a renovation.

Disneyland trip

The hotel is within walking distance to Disney parks. The rooms are very nice. Pizza place on site. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Easy parking and a good pizza place nearby. I forgot to tell them I was staying at the hotel and didn’t get the discount until I had breakfast before I left.

We love this hotel. The staff is great. They have done so many improvements but the rooms are starting to age and need serious TLC.

Great for Disney Family stay

Hotel location was perfect for Disneyland, which is why we chose it. A very quick walk to and from the park entrance. Two king beds was plenty of room for our family. Bar and food options were great and easy. No elevator for luggage just a ramp and stairs. Beds were not super comfortable and only two pillows on each bed, which was unusual. Also the bathroom towels were small and very rough.

The rooms were clean and very good size.

Surprised

My family was shocked by how wonderful this hotel was. We usually stay at a newer more modern hotel, but they were sold out this trip, so we stayed here. Not only was it still close to Disney which we like, but it was beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained for the age. My wife says that we are staying here from now on.

Location is the biggest positive. Easy walking distance to Disneyland. Bar and restaurant at the hotel. Pleasant staff. Property is showing its age, but met our needs.

Great little spot. Only complaint is the beds were a bit hard so plan for that. But we were less than 10 minute walk to disneyland, and there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance.

No Cleaning, Old Facilities

This hotel is fine, with a good location in proximity to the Disney parks being its primary strength. The rooms extremely show their age, and are probably more worn and dirty than you may be used to in hotels elsewhere. I’m not sure they have maid service during the stay because no one cleaned our room during our three night stay. The sheets smell old and the towels are very old to the point that they just push water around. We reported the lack of maid service to the front desk but nothing was done to fix it, just an apology at checkout.

#1 thing about this hotel is location! Remember that while staying here. Walking from the lobby to security at Disney take 8 min. Pros: Lobby is clean, great lobby bar and great bartent. The Pizza Press is a great option for food, amazing that you can make it all vegan if need be. Nice outdoor shared spaces with chairs, games, and hammocks. Hotel feels like a apartment complex converted into a hotel. Pool and hot tub were great after a day at the park. Cons: Property is slightly rundown, there are no elevators to 2nd floor rooms (does have a ramp at the far end of the buildings). Ice makers didnt work in our building. We stayed in a double King room, beds were soft, but only had two flat pillows on each bed. While they seemed to have "upgraded" bedding and dresser and lighting in the room, the electronics and other things are still old. TV is not a smart TV, the coffee maker is old and had hard water stains, bathroom did not have hand soap, only face soap. Walls are extremely thin, so be prepared to hear everything your neighbor does. Overall - would stay again for location and pool.

Possibly the best hotel stay I’ve had in the area. Great pool and spa. Staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and spacious. Looking forward to my next stay with my daughter and husband. The walk to the park was excellent and better and faster than other Disney Row stays I’ve had. Will be coming back for sure

Easy walk to Disneyland.

This Hotel is just a block away from the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. The room was large and gave us plenty of space. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great stay and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

I’ll come again

The staff was kind and attentive, the room was great and had what we needed. Within walking distance to everywhere we had to go. We felt safe walking thru the property and we LOVED the 60’s vibe and historic feeling.

A room with the view of the race track is phenomenal. Unfortunately, the view from our room was the top of the roof.

Loving the facelift. Love coming back

Always love staying at the Anaheim hotel. They are doing some facelifts so the hotel is looking beautiful. Rooms are refreshed. Pool area is big clean warm and music is always on point. My only ick was their new bed pillows. They were flat as a pancakes. I have to use four just to make a decent pillow.

Friendly and accommodating staff, early check in was a breeze. Room was clean and comfy, the bed was perfect! So close to the park, easy quick walk. Will be staying here again!

I thought this was a great hotel!! The rooms were great, area around the hotel was beautiful, only note was the bathrooms seemed dated and not up to par with the rest of the hotel

Walking distance to Disneyland with great restaurants nearby

hotel is dated but excellent location and the staff was very friendly. The service at the Pizza restaurant was terrible. One morning I sat there for 20 minutes without getting a menu and eventually left. Not a staff member in sight. I also came back one day at 5 or 6 pm and my room wasn't cleaned yet. Seems like the place is short staffed.

The rooms are run down and dirty, the only good thing was the bed was comfortable.

Not that clean

There was a broken glass at our room upon arrival, there was hair in some of our towels that we could not use and the tub also had hair. For the price we are paying I would expect better quality towels and cleanliness.

Was there during the Half Marathon race weekend and we were put in building facing the street to the race. Music and announcements started at 3am both Friday and Saturday. The hotel should of put people in the race in building 7

The walls here are very thin, we could every word from the guests in the room next store.

Clean, convenient, friendly staff.

Disney trip with family for the “Run Disney” event. First time staying at this hotel, and it was perfect. We literally walked out to where the race started and ended. Very convenient for the event. I really liked that housekeeping cleans the room every day without you having to ask. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Definitely will stay here again…

Disney stay.. OKAY.

Room was okay. Had multiple dead spiders bite me and also were dead surrounding the floor each night. Bathroom was in rough shape with deteriorating countertops and the shower knob falling off we couldn’t access the water. Tub was also deteriorating but the location was great!

Our room was clean, however the windows amd doors alow for noise to travel easily, so we could hear our neighbors' bed squicking, kids yelling outside. It served the purpose of being a walking distance from Disneyland, but the noise was definitely inconvenient.

Bathroom was dirty when we checked in

Staff was all so nice! The property is older so it shows some wear. Great ambiance.

Outdated facility, no complementary coffee in the lobby, the dog poop station was out of poop bags the whole 4 days we stayed there, my husband bought bags for the poop station, our room was so hot and it took hours to cool down, on our morning walk we saw a dead mouse laying on the side walk, beds were uncomfortable and had a dip in the mattress.

Staff was kind. Location was great to get to the parks. However the property is a little run down, the bathroom was not appealing, we had no hot water in the shower except for the sink. Lastly we were not told about an event being held right in front of our room. The guests at this event had the area smelling of alcohol and smoke.

Excellent Choice for a Disney Trip

We decided to try the Anaheim Hotel for our Disney trip since it was a bit cheaper than the Grand Legacy. I loved the Mid-century Modern vibe, and all the little details reminding me of my childhood. The employees were all nice and welcoming, and I really appreciated the lobby bathrooms! Very spacious, accommodating several people, which is important when you are a family hotel across from Disney. Travelers (especially with children) often need the restroom IMMEDIATELY upon arrival at a hotel, and it is disappointing (to say the least!) when you are greeted with nothing more than one (or two) "one-seater" restrooms. We ate at the adjoining Pizza Press restaurant when our day at Disney was done (too pooped to go anywhere else) and found it to be a good, un-fussy place to end our day. Will happily stay there again!
