4 day visit with 20 year old daughter. We shared a twin room which was great. Firm comfortable beds.
2 night break
Great breakfast, clean room, comfy bed. You don't need anything else, do you? Excellent service, and would definitely stay again.
Excellent Value for Money
Decent room, excellent breakfast, and good location. We will definitely return.
Highly recommend
Had a very good stay at The Albert. Highly recommend :)
4.5
Very comfortable beds. Friendly family hotel. Very convenient for the tower ballroom and local amenities. Would stay there again
Very happy stay in Blackpool
Very friendly staff at the hotel. Very helpful us feel welcome. Very good breakfast (freshly cooked after you had ordered) with plenty of variety. Non-cooked options were available. The room I stayed in was very clean with a good shower in the en-suite bathroom. Only a short walk from the Tower and Winter Gardens. I would be very happy to stay in this hotel again if I need to stay in Blackpool.
A lovely stay, nothing to moan about.
We were a party of 3, 2 adults and a 9yr old niece who lives with us. From the start we were made welcome by Jennie. We arrived a little early but Jennie told us to take our things up and then just go and do what we wanted to do. I stayed downstairs while Norman and Meadow took out things upstairs( I'm using a stick at moment ) Meadow came down full of things to say about how lovely the room was :) While we were a little high up, it's an old establishment in a seaside town, it's more or less what we expected. The room was lovely, very clean , bright and fresh looking . We spent time on the front and piers etc , before going back to get changed for our night out at Viva la s Viva , ( enjoyed by all, especially the princess of the night .. Meadow ) We all had a good night sleep, no negative comments on that from any of us. Breakfast, excellent! George is a very amenable host, he was taking the orders and waiting on out front . Jennie was chef, the full cooked breakfast was lovely, I only ate the bacon from mine, the rest was shared between Norman and Meadow. It was very hearty. No complaints at all. There's cereal , fruit juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit etc for you to help yourself to .We would certainly go back to The Albert Hotel :)
Amazing from start to finish.
Great stay as always
Great stay lovely friendly owners/staff. Located few minutes from town center great for winter gardens
Good location, friendly and reasonably priced. Nice breakfast.

No problems at all the hosts could not do enough for me lovely breakfast nice room everything I wanted.

Great stay. Typical seaside b&b. Friendly owners. Comfy room. Hot shower.. Lovely breakfast.
Classic B and B
Lovely typical B and B Beds were made up lovely and nice little extras in the room . Nice and quiet which surprised me got a good nights sleep . Thank you .
Great value, clean, and friendly Blackpool hotel.
Great value for money, clean and tidy rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, and very central Blackpool location. The only downside was the room being quite warm, although a fan was provided.
nice hotel
nice hotel breakfast was very nice and they were so helpful
Good value for money
Convenient location, breakfast did the job (would prefer wholemeal rather than brown bread). Sociable, friendly service. Bed comfortable and spotless. Very nice touches in room with bottled water, Turkish Delight (which I took for my wife), biscuit. Shower and shower room more spacious than a lot of single rooms. Place in general is quite tired with carpets etc which could do with replacement and or spring clean, but I appreciate cost is a big factor given what can be charged. All in all good value for money, and I would return. Wifi good on 2nd floor, and stairs could be a problem for some less mobile.
great value for money
had a good stay ... hotel 3 mins from centre of town.
area bit tired and dated
it was. nice fine for a short a break
Very welcoming, room was great beds were comfy shower was nice and powerful! I would defo stay here again
A very pleasant stay
The hotel is only a five minute walk from the tower and the beach. The room was comfortable and very clean. I was in Blackpool for a film shoot and the hotel wasn't far from where i was filming.
I hate the water was not hot at all i report to the hotel them do nothing about it i will never used that hotel again the breakfast was good.
Had a lovely stay here from Friday till Monday ,the breakfast was lovely and couldn't do enough for you, room was clean and tidy with chocolate and plenty drinks in your room and TV,beds were comfortable and clean so I would deffo stay again.
Convenient and clean hotel.
Friendly welcome and a lovely breakfast.
Owners lovely and most helpful. Rooms a little dated and could do with a spruce up however the beds were comfortable with lovely clean white linen. Plenty on offer for breakfast. All in all a lovely place to rest your head for the night and close to the beach, bars shops etc.
Better than the average budget hotel.
Annual visit to Blackpool for illuminations with my daughter. Booked The Albert Hotel based on location price and revues. This is the standard budget hotel in Blackpool. It's in a good location and the owners were very nice friendly people who were trying very hard to make this one of the better budget hotels. Clean comfortable beds, good shower with plenty of good towels. Excellent breakfast, quiet location but within a stones throw from the Tower and all that goes with it. Only down side is there is no parking but anyone who knows the area knows that this is not unusual. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice budget hotel.
pleasant stay great breakfast
Just great
Stayed at this hotel for 1 night with my wife and what a great stay it was, It is a credit to the owners who go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we have stayed at many hotels in Blackpool over the years but this was by far the best for many reasons, the breakfast was fantastic and very well presented, the room was quite small but neat and tidy with not just tea and coffee making facilities but biscuits, chocolates ,sweets, cordial and hot chocolate, the owners certainly try to cater for all tastes, we look forward to returning to the Albert in the near future
Excellent value and pleasant experience all round!
Three of us stayed at the Albert Hotel in a triple room last Sunday night. The amenities which are included as part of the room rate are excellent compared to other properties in Blackpool - tea and coffee facilities in the room, a small welcome gift, cooked and continental breakfast in the morning. We went out for the Illuminations in the evening but I understand there is also a bar and the prices looked very reasonable. I will also single out the Albert because of its helpful, friendly, and diligent owners, who answered my questions I had before our arrival, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. It's clear to me that they work hard to look after their guests and keep the hotel in the cleanly condition we found it. I recommend the Albert to anyone wanting a pleasant B&B experience in central Blackpool.
Was not very up to date room very small no heating
Thank you all at The Albert
Was very pleasant, staff/owners were very nice, very inviting a warm.
Great Hotel
excellent hotel, lived up to expectations, hotel was very clean and well organised, room was really comfortable and the extra treats were lovely eg bottled water and sweets. The breakfast included was gorgeous loads of choices to have.Owners were very nice and made us feel very welcome, would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to blackpool
My visit
As a place to lay my head after a long day at the beach / Pleasure Beach / Amusements, the Albert Hotel is fine. It is not the most glamorous of hotels but the clean rooms and warm friendly service certainly makes up for what it lacks. The breakfast was superb with a choice of a Full English, toast, cereals, fruit, yogurt and a selection of drinks. The freedom to come and go as you wish is very welcoming, and even late night / early morning entry is possible. The Bar was very well stocked with a large selection of bottle ales, beers, lagers and ciders. There was also a selection of wines, whiskeys etc. Jennie and George are very warm and welcoming hosts who have recently taken on this hotel. There is work to be done and they are both aware of this and are working extremely hard to rectify any problem areas and to improve the hotel. I doff my cap to both Jennie and George and wish them all the luck for the future. Hope to return soon.
Albert Road hotel
This hotel was really nice the owners were very welcoming friendly and helpful Breakfast was lovely Recommend this hotel
Lovely room, delicious breakfast
Really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and immaculately clean, very comfortable. There were even some flowers in a vase waiting for us. The location was very good, central and not far from the beach and town centre. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, showed us to our room and made us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent. We had a lovely stay.
The rooms are a little dated but the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and the tea and coffee facilities in the room were also very good
Superior, centrally located Blackpool B&B.
Very helpful and friendly staff made for a pleasurable stay. Room was comfortable, with extras such as complimentary toiletries, sweets and chocolates. A quality breakfast was served in the nice dining room, which was functioning as a bar café in the evening, including an unusual selection of bottled beers.
Blackpool personified
The Albert Hotel sums up Blackpool: well meaning but grotty . The room was tiny and the shower - toilet - sink was small to say the least . The room obviously hadn't been dusted in a while but the TV and drinking facilities where good. The breakfast food was excellent but seating was disorganised and inadequate . The lack of parking which admittedly is the same for most Blackpool B&Bs is a pain. Overall it's cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for .
Monday in Blackpool
The hotel is in a decent location but has no parking. I had to park half a mile away as parking on the street is limited to 90 minutes and the nearest car parks are have very limited spaces. I booked the hotel as it had a bar and I was with my 12 year old daughter and thought we would be limited as to where we could go. Unfortunately said bar is only open Thu to Sun but the owners recommended other hotels on the street open to non residents which were excellent. We were woken in the morning by water coming through the light fitting on to the bed meaning we had to get up earlier than intended. We were told this was due to the shower in the room above. This spoiled what would have otherwise been a pleasant stay.
friendly owner good value of money love the breakfast
Alberts, October review.
Fine accommodation in a good position. Close to the main centre of Blackpool, Tower, Winter Gardens, 10 minutes walk from the train station. Breakfast was good and prepared and served to your table. Would definitely go back. If you struggle up stairs ask for a lower floor. Good value.
