Amazing Staff and and food and drinks. Place is small so staff rember you. Large clean rooms

I was told by the property managers that I would be refunded a portion of my room fees since the jacuzzi on my balcony was not functioning. When I got back to my home country, I tried to get a portion of my money refunded by the resort/hotel and they refused to give me anything. I paid the full amount and never got to use my jacuzzi. That was disappointing because I was deceived. Also, the elevator was not in service when I arrived and I had to carry my luggage up 3 flights of stairs. That was not fun. Other than that it was a good stay.

The staff were amazing. Gregory fixed my problems and allowed me to enjoy my vacation. The woman at the front desk, w/glasses, is just the kindess person i have met in a long time. Janelle in the elevator, put a smile on my face. The person who cleaned my room daily, thank you. My bartenders, you guus are the best. Tyrell, i got u when i get back. The servers were kind and accommodating. Finally, chef,'s kiss to all the chefs. I thank you and i will see you all soon. Love Keasha B

Staff was okay. Need to be more organized. Lacks structure. AC unit did not work throughout stay and no effort was made to fix it.

I encountered some inconvenience when I reserved a room with a hot tub. The hot tub was damaged. When I went to use it, I discovered the damage and promptly called the reception. They informed me that the hot tub had been damaged before my arrival. But during the check-in, they didn’t mention anything about it. Restaurants and bar close very early to be a hotel for adults. Every time I was going to request towels they didn't have them available. However, staffs are so friendly and helpful.

The food was good and that was about all. Tiny pool. There were holes in the furniture in our room, in the wall where I'm guessing the safe used to be, and the base of the hot tub. There was space on the wall with exposed plywood showing, where the TV was supposed to be mounted. Instead, it was sitting on the dresser beneath. Most of the staff were less than friendly and the service was something to be desired. However, Kyle and Savannah were amazing during our stay. We did visit their sister property during our stay and wished we stayed there instead.

Amazing child-free getaway

I travel a lot, both for business and pleasure and this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The room (307) was enormous, clean and the bed ultra comfortable. I like that we had both aircon and ceiling fan. Three-way French door to the balcony had a mosquito nets, and the hot tub worked! But what was the best was the food. Absolutely best AI food I had in any resort I have been. Great variety and lots to choose from. Smoked marlin was absolute top. Staff was very friendly, cocktails yummy and the beach was a picture-perfect! The hotel was getting sunbeds and parasols to the beach daily and they also came to the beach to take our bar orders and brought it to us! I hardly stay anywhere twice, but I will definitely come back to Abidah.

Service was bad.

Nice hotel but service was horrible. No porters available so one has to carry luggage to the rooms. Secondly, only one elevqtor in the hotel so when the elevator had problems one had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. My room was cleaned and the cleaner forgot to leave fresh towels. It took 30 mins, and three phone calls, before the towels arrived. At supper one night I asked for butter which after 20 mins, never arrived so I gave up.

Can’t write a review of this property as when my wife and I arrived we were told the room we had booked had a maintenance issue. This was only supposed to be for a night or two we were told, and were sent to Accra Beach. We were told it was a comparable hotel - it’s not - and that we would have an upgraded room - we didn’t. Upon arriving at Accra Beach, at around 600pm in the evening, our room was not ready. Nothing was offered by the hotel for the inconveniences, not until we complained, and even then it felt like pulling teeth. We will be back to Barbados, however, we will not be staying at the Accra.

Great location away from the really touristic areas. We liked the adults only aspect and the location right by the beach. Only two negatives: The beach loungers are only put out at 9.30 am and by two young men who had to drag them across the road from the hotel 3 at a time. This led to people hanging around waiting for them to set up. The food is very good with a variety of choices changing every day. However starters and desserts ran out occasionally with later diners having less choice in the evening.

The location of the property was close to the beach and the airport. Although some of the staff members were friendly, overall we felt as though our requests and need for assistance were bothersome and a incovenience. The towel supply was scarce and many basic requests (like dairy substitute) were left unmet daily due to lack of resources. There was only one restaurant on the property so dining was held to a strict schedule and the menu was limited. Although there was a bar, it, like the pool closed extremely early and didn't have a wide selection of alcohol. The room was beautiful and large enough to accommodate our party of four even when we were initially told that wouldn't be the case. The staff were more than willing to assist us with switch our initial accomomdation and refunding the extra room charge at check in. Overall, it was a nice place, but was lack luster for an all inclusive.

An amazing hotel with an amazing ocean view!

Everyone was pleasant, food was great, small intimate atmosphere…..no lines for anything. Always room at beach or pool. Only problem was some days we had to wait for beach towels

A Wonderful Stay!

The hotel is close to our favorite beach, Christchurch. The meals were nice and the room was modern. The front desk staff deserves high marks for professionalism and courtesy.

Only one complaint: Lack of beach towels!

Million Dollar View

Although most rooms have water views, I recommend booking one of the grand oceanfront rooms. The view is breathtaking and the sunsets are spectacular.

I liked the secluded area and the quaint hotel. But having to wait 2 days to get a beach towel was disappointing..

Hotel is nice and quiet, spacious rooms, beach is perfect.

We reserved a king size bed room with a workable hot tub. Two single beds, a cable TV that did not work. Room hot tub broken.

This hotel is a absolute gem! The staff goes above and beyond to your every desire. I highly recommend this hitel. The veach us about a one minute walj abd they jerp it vkean. U would give this 10 stars!!

This was an excellent stay. The staff, one guys in particular kept the lobby area extremely clean, always wiping the glass and sweeping the floor. It is a great location with easy access to the beach as the property is not directly on the beach. The pool is located at the front of the hotel which is a lovely view of the sunset and the ocean or you can cross the street and the hotel has chairs where you can sit, relax and watch the sunset there. The beach is also opposite the hotel 1 min walk. The hotel places beach chairs and umbrellas daily on the beach for guests for your comfort. This property is the sister property to Accra Beach Hotel so you do get a 2 for 1 where you can access Accra beach hotel facilities for the day, multiple daily visit are allowed. The hotel arranges transport to and from both hotels. Free pick up is 10:30 am from Abidah to Accra and 4:30 pm from Accra to Abidah. Accra Beach Hotel has larger multiple pools and the beach is directly behind the hotel, but it is a more family hotel so kids are there. You just need to book the day before. When you visit Accra Beach Hotel you also have access to your All Inclusive Package at their restaurants and bars. I prefer the beach at Accra vs the one at Abidah but both are lovely. Overall this is a highly recommended hotel to stay at in Barbados.

First, from the moment we arrived, the staff were all welcoming and friendly. Front desk staff assisted us a few times with excursion information. Wait staff in the restaurant were attentive, and the bartender, Andre, learned our names on day 1 and greeted us every day. The food was delicious and varied every day. Our room was very spacious and clean. On one occasion our A/C stopped, and we were immediately given a new portable unit to get us through. The views of the ocean across the street were incredible. A definite hidden gem!

The staff was fantastic. The place is very close to a small beach, Miami Beach. The oceanfront room was clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi did not work, we were informed of this at checkin and were asked to claim a small refund with Expedia. The AC was functional but we couldn't get the temp to go below 22C and it was warm in the room. They were fine with the use of pool and beach stuff after checkout. The dining was buffet style and simple but good. Will stay here again.

Caribbean holiday

The Abidah was lovely. You could walk to beach but no chairs. Lovely to watch the sunset. Small friendly hotel with lovely staff. Sometimes found it hard to get a sun bed. Food great. Bedroom one of the best we have experienced and fabulous balcony with sea view. No queueing for food and a good variety. If you need anything just ask.

Short in service - no refund

Booked and paid for room with Hot-Tub - our hot tub (and seemingly those of a few other rooms) not working. NO compensation whatsoever received from the hotel, despite having paid extra for this amenity. Closet door broken, public bathroom not in operation, pool shower not really working, overall not well kept as a hotel

I loved staying at Abidah. It was right next to the beach, but tucked away and quiet for peace of mind. I especially love that you have the option to visit the sister hotel which extends the “all inclusive” services. The staff was really nice and personable. If I ever get the chance to go back to Barbados, I will definitely be staying here again.

If you are looking for a nice, classy, clean and quiet place this would be a great choice. Management was great and very understanding. The beach was 2 min walking but part of the public beach.

Had a great time went for my bday in August alone and everythigg by was amazing . Staff was friendly , my room was amazing , food ,drinks were amazing as well definitely will be back

Perfect view of the Atlantic and excellent staff service. I would recommend having something available to eat during the day as an all inclusive hotel. After drinking and hang out nothing is available at the bar as the restaurant is closed 10 or 9:30.

The Abidah was clean, well maintained, and the staff was AMAZING. They made my stay comfortable, provided me with any information I needed and gave me the comfort of knowing I was safe. I do think the hotel is a bit out the way, nightlife is around a 10-15 minute drive from the hotel. The beach is just across the road and the pool is right outside. Meal times are on schedule, food is fresh and tasted great.

First and foremost, the staff were very good, they tried to make our stay as memorable as possible and helped us out with some local logistical problems. Very pleasant to work with. We booked an Ocean View room with King bed. The room was nice but the ocean view was very limited, which was disappointing. They found us another room, which had a true ocean view with 2 good size balconies and the room itself was larger. Super happy with the upgrade($$). Found the dining experience a little different. They only have 1 restaurant (which we knew) but didn’t realize they had set meal times. So if you wanted a late breakfast for example, you had to order room service.But you adjust your expectations and everything works fine. Food was pretty good with different themes each day, but not exactly a gourmet experience. Again, once if you adjust to what's on offer, you can enjoy the cozy ambience and new found friends. The pool is small but quite adequate but there were not a lot of people staying in the off season (Sept.) So it was not crowded. In peak season it might be an issue. The beach is a 1 minute walk and was a secluded delight. We went several times and lazed under the umbrellas and loungers. Again very quite and peaceful. The bar staff even provided beach service on occasions. The Abidah provides a free shuttle service to their sister hotel at Rockly Beach. The resort is much bigger and it has 2 large swimming pools close to a fabulous, white sand beach & warm Caribbean ocea

I appreciated the access to a private hot tub, but unfortunately, we couldn't figure out how to use it. Additionally, the restaurant manager was not very accommodating in helping us make our anniversary special. While we had an enjoyable stay overall, I didn’t feel it provided good value for the money.

An Incredible Hotel, A+++++

The Abidah by Accra is a jewel slightly off the beaten path. Imagine a hotel filled with wonderful people all laser focused on your every need. Now, while you are imagining that, dare to ponder this: this truly all inclusive hotel makes it impossible to spend any money on food, drinks, snacks, etc. Everything is aimed at dazzling guests with gourmet meals, exotic frozen drinks, and the best deserts on the planet. I was crestfallen when I had to finally depart. But no worries: I've booked this hotel three more times over the next six months. I cannot get enough of the gorgeous pool, the hot tubs on the balconies, and perhaps most of all, the incredible views of the sea from one of TWO balconies. This hotel should be 4 1/2 stars. They even delivered hot meals to my room when there were important news stories I did not want to miss. But, I didn't have to go to my room; there are two beautiful flat screen TVs at the bar. You simply cannot go wrong at the Abidah by Accra!!!

The staff at the establishment provided an exceptional experience, demonstrating pleasant and amiable personalities. The management team was responsive and efficient in addressing requests. The collaboration with their sister hotel, Accra, was a novel concept that offered a wider range of activities and was highly appreciated by guests. It is recommended that this collaboration be made permanent to attract more customers. The food menu could benefit from incorporating more Caribbean flavors, although the overall quality of the cuisine was satisfactory. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages were delightful. I highly recommend this establishment for relaxation and unwinding, while those seeking a more lively atmosphere may prefer their sister hotel, Accra.

Small hotel with a very small pool - went in low season and it was quite relaxing. Food was great!

This hotel was really nice and modern. The staff was the best part. We have food restrictions (vegetarian & allergies). The cooks and staff were so accommodating. They’d personally come to check in on us during meals and ask if we needed anything. Front desk was also so so nice, always willing to call us a taxi when needed or work with us for late check in, luggage storage etc.

I booked this hotel for my mum, she was extremely happy with the room, staff and food. She love the fact she was so close to the beach and easy access to the bus to town. Thank to all those that have made my mother’s experience great

The hotel was excellent! Service was outstanding from the time I checked into the hotel until I checked out. There’s one restaurant on the property with absolutely delicious food. Julius was so accommodating and thoughtful throughout the daily dining experiences. Can’t wait to return next year!

The staff was excellent and the food was out of this world !!! Everything was easy and smooth, transportation is easily attainable at the front desk via local taxis and the staff will be happy to answer any question. We checked in with George and Troy even took us out to St. Lawrence Gap one night in his own car!! We appreciated everything and I can’t wait to come back! The only con was it’s not a beach front property and it was hide tide so not much of the beach was left but still not a far walk from the other part of Miami Beach and Oistins is a 17 min walk !!

The staff at this resort was simply amazing, they were very professional, and friendly. There is only one restaurant but the food was great. I would definitely stay here again.

A Fantastic Gem of a Hotel!!!

The Abidah is an amazing place to stay. The room was gorgeous and clean. The staff are all guest-centric, catering to your every need. The pool is a work of art, surrounded by the most comfortable recliners in Barbados. This is now my favorite hotel on the island!!!

The staff was amazing! They were helpful and friendly. Nikki and Charlene went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything that we needed. Fabian, Andreah, and Ebony were great as well. The food was outstanding! We looked forward to every meal. We will definitely try to come back to Barbados every year and we plan to stay at the Abidah every time.

The property has around the clock maintenance issues. Elevator issues. Power outages with no backup generators to fill the gap. Free WiFi problems around the clock. A/C unit constantly not working. Phone in room not working. Staff not accommodating even if they have a hundred issues. I won’t not EVER stay here again.

I had a great time in Barbados and I really enjoyed my stay in Abidah by accra. If anyone considering booking this hotel, I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed. We took all-inclusive package. Everything was great, the hotel, service, food, drink and the beach!

There’s only 1 “restaurant “ in the whole building… the choices for dining is very limited but the food overall was delicious. The staff are always nice and welcoming. It was super hot in the lobby area and elevators tiny and hot and not well kept, saw a dead roach in there one night . The rooms are outdated

Underwhelmed

Waited over 30 minutes to check in, front desk kept saying they are cleaning the room. I did not understand why the room was not ready at check in time when the hotel clearly was not sold out the night but. Once we got into the room, we discovered that the jacuzzi was not working and had to call Maintenace. He took over an hour to fix the jacuzzi only for it to stop working again the next day. Then two maintenance men came to fix it again taking over an hour to complete which cut into our itinerary. Their definition of an all inclusive was very different than the ones I have been to previously. The food was limited, it was a mix between la carte and buffet. We could not get more of the items that were la carte. The jerk chicken was very delicious but extremely small portion. There was more staff than guests. The last day of my stay i woke up with a spider bite on my arm.

The hotel is quite modern, food at the restaurant was awesome along with kind and Professional wait staff. The room was nice and big with mini kitchenettes/ eating island and great shower. Downside for me was that I booked this room in transit with a flight out the next day so I had only one night to enjoy a nice resort. Flight landed earlier than expected and made dinner time which closes off for orders at 8:30pm and not 9:30pm as indicated on Expedia. The tourist tax collected at the reception desk at checkin was also higher than indicated on my Expedia confirmation and info on the property. I did show this to the reception and she too seemed surprised. I paid the higher tax the next morning at check out by converting cash to BDS. As said before the room is quite big with seperate showerstall and toilet. The bed is substantial as I opted for a King size. The pillows thought had a bit of a stale smell but I covered it with a towel which helped. Unfortunately the AirC stopped working in the middle of the night and the fan was quite loud when turned up to compensate for the warm room. I called the front desk first thing in the morning and a gentleman came right away to address it but it could not be helped. I had a morning zoom meeting and asked for a conference area or another room to host my meeting but recp said that nothing was available and that MainT would come in at 7:30am who were still absent even after checked out. It was the great breakfast that saved it.

Staff was wonderful

Everything was perfect. Great staff and accommodations. Every night had a themed dinner and the food was excellent. You won’t go hungry. Always a spot at the beach with chairs and an umbrella. They provide a beverage cart at the beach as well.

Boutique experience, great food, quiet and relaxing

The air conditioning on the second floor was broken. We asked to switch to another floor or upgrade to another room with working AC and the hotel staff would not accommodate us because they said there were no other rooms, although we met others guests checking out on the 3rd floor (these guest had a mobile air conditioner that was provided to them because their mini split wasn’t working either). We spoke to several other guests that had been there for days and said the AC had not been working forseveral days. After hearing other complaints from customers, we decided to check out. The hotel would not give us a refund. They said we had to contact Expedia but all Expedia was willing to do was give us a $25 credit when the room cost us $490. We will not stay with that hotel group again, and I will not be booking through Expedia in the future.

Great food! Compliments to the chef Clean rooms and facilities Disappointed with small pool No room service No beach service. Had to walk back to hotel to get drinks and back to beach. Asked for towels couple of times and never got them I had to go collect. Staff need training on customer service, lacked attention for customers and more interested in chatting to each other. Loved the taxi driver though!

Work trip

Stayed for just a night I thought the room was very nice spacious and clean. Good breakfast with friendly staff and a nice beach area just in front of the hotel

This is a beautiful hotel in a quiet part of the south coast. The staff were great. When I arrived at the hotel, someone was available to collect my bags for me from the car, and before I was finished checking in I was given a welcome drink. The room is spacious and housekeeping did a great job every day. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to enjoy the hot tub or the sunbeds on the beach or the complimentary shuttle to their sister hotel - but knowing that these options were available was definitely great. The food at the restaurant was good every day, although I think the menu could benefit from more Caribbean influences. The bartenders and their drinks were all great. Overall, a comfortable stay in a clean hotel with friendly staff. Would visit again.

A good hotel in a great location.

This hotel is in a great location. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and tidy. My only criticism would be the lack of sun loungers (only 14) and umbrellas (only 4) around the pool, there was definitely room for more. Having said that, the beach across the road had plenty of loungers and umbrellas free of charge. Also there was a lack of space to hang out around the bar and lounge.

Absolutely loved our sty here. Hotel is clean and quiet. Food and drink are excellent. But what really makes it is the staff. Especially Andraih! Really hope to have a trip back here again soon.

A very nice adult’s only hotel

A great adults only hotel in a good location. Opposite the beach and a short walk from Oistins fish market which is the place to be on a Friday night for good food, music and entertainment. The hotel rooms were clean and the hotel staff were friendly, polite and very accommodating. There were a selection of starters, soups, mains and desserts available with each meal and the afternoon tea option was also a great addition. A secure underground car park is available for those who arrive with a hire car. I would definitely recommend upgrading to a room with a hot tub as It’s a great way to watch the sun set while sipping a cocktail.

The staff were all friendly and the food was exceptional. When we arrived there was no safe in the room and the TV did not work, both these issues were handled quickly. The other issue is that the hot tub did not work and we could not be switched to another room. The main reason Abidah was chosen over other hotels was the hot tub so this was very disappointing and I feel I should have been compensated in some way.

Abidjan is a lovely adult hotel with a friendly and capable staff. I had a few issues my first day, but they were dealt with well. The pool area is well kept, but there are no grounds to speak of. The chef is outstanding with many years of experience and after chatting with him, you know he loves his work. I really enjoyed my stay there and would not hesitate to return.
