The shower could not be adjusted to a certain consistent temperature. Once turned on to comfortable temp, it would get very cold or very hot
Antonio went above and beyond in finding alternative accommodation and travel options, when there was a last minute issue with the hotel that prevented me staying. I was very grateful for his service.
Charming once you're inside. It was difficult to find and get into. (A locked gate, a locked vestibule, a locked door and then a locked room.) If my friend hadn't been able to be on the phone with the owner, I don’t know what we would have done.) Seemed like a sketchy neighborhood but we had no trouble. I would stay here again.
Perfect Final Night Before A Flight From Fiumicino
Truly a magical surprise. My family (wife and young son) and I often spend a night in Rome before heading back to the States and decided to try Fiumicino this time. That's Amore was a perfect cozy experience near the bars and restaurants along the canal that leads to the Tiber and it's just 15m from Ostia Antica which is incredible. Took us less than 30m to get to the airport the next morning as well. Highly recommended!
Good for a 1 night stay before the airport but it’s a small spot not for any longer in my opinion. Shared space which I didn’t fully realize when I booked but other then that it was okay
Close to the airport. Close to the river.
First, it should be noted that this isn't a hotel -- it's a divided room in an apartment in a rather questionable neighborhood (marked by two completely burned out cars on the street within two blocks of the address and a intoxicated, maybe homeless man trying to enter our shuttle while we were waiting at a light to get to the airport, also just a few blocks away). It has a complicated check in process and took two keys and a key card to get in. Overall the room itself was ok -- the walls could use a fresh coat of paint (lots of scuffs and there were song lyrics on the wall as decoration that were peeling badly), the sheet on the queen bed had a hole in it. The biggest problem was it was almost 100 degrees and the A/C did not work -- we spent a very hot, uncomfortable night waiting for our flight.
Maybe we were unlucky that the AC just didn’t work. That is basically the reason for 4/5 stars. Other than that, we got what we paid for. Thank you for providing really late check in, since our flight landed in Rome close to midnight. So by the time we were able to convince a taxi to get us there (basically all taxi drivers declined our trip due to proximity), it was after 01:00 am! All in all, grateful that things did not get any worse.
It was a very nice, clean room
This is the perfect place to stay for a night or two when travelling. We stayed for a layover and the service was excellent. Antonio is fabulous and provided us with instructions to get to and from the airport, as well as places to visit in the neighborhood. Antonio is very quick to respond and was so kind. This is a great place to stay for a low price and close to the airport. Thank you, Antonio!
No air conditioning at all. We had to open windows due to lack of air and it did not work. But even worse, flies and mosquitoes entered the room because the windows were opened. Barely any hot water. I got told you have to wait 5 minutes to have hot water. Sorry for all of those shower lovers but there were no showers, only bathtubs. And if you want air conditioning, good luck because the fan wouldn’t even blow air. House is clean and all but I wouldn’t really recommend this house.
That's Amore Fiumicino by the beach, beautiful!
There was an issue with our original hotel but Antonio was able to get us another location quickly that was close to the beach! Called That's Amore Fiumicino by the beach. The location was beautiful, lots of restaurants and great food! The place was comfortable, had AC, and necessary kitchen items. We only stayed one night, we were happy with the place
Great place to stay when you nees to be close to the airport. I checked in later than I wamted to so I didnt get a chance to walk around the neighborhood. There is a pizza place next door which is convenient. Antonio was great at communicating with any questions you had.
In general, the property is very convenient to the airport and the wharf where there are many dining options and some shopping. The immediate area around the property is more residential. There didn't seem to be much going on, but we were there on a Monday evening. Overall, the room was clean and generally comfortable, but the pillows were lumpy and stained and there were only pillowcases on two of the four pillows in the room.
It was a nice stay. The place is close to the airport, there is a regular shuttle, good pizzeria right next to the hotel. The owner Antonio was very nice, helpful, easy to communicate and reliable. He speaks good English which is rare enough in Italy out of our impression. He gave us a ride to the port at much better than regular taxi's price and met us in 7 days after the cruise. He left us at Vatican and while going back to Fiumicino brought our baggage to the other hotel in the area that we reserved before. It was very helpful and valuable. Highly recommended!
this is NOT a Hotel, it is a converted 3 bedroom apartment, NO STAFF, no front desk, nothing, Showed up, to a locked outside gate in an apartment building. one of the other renters let us in the locked security gate and gave us keys. NO contact until after this total mess, then a text message informing us that we were in the wrong room and had to move, there are only 3 rooms. You can hear everything including conversation from the other rooms. There are only 3 rooms in this place, total screw-up, FALSE and Misleading description, breakfast is a total joke package low quality, one for each, with a small packet of jam, the other renters also agreed that this is not what was represented.
It was convenient to the airport and served its purpose well!
A perfect property for our needs. My wife and I stayed one night with our two daughters (10 and 12), and took advantage of the shuttle service to the airport in the morning (8 euros per person, kids half price, took 10 minutes to get there). The host was communicative and helpful, the property was easy to access and clean. Breakfasty snacks were included, which was a nice touch. On the evening we arrived, we walked to Fiumicino town centre, which was nicer than expected with sea views and plenty of options for eating out.
Excellent overnight stay
Great customer service
We received excellant customer service from Antonio. Our stay was in transit and we arrived very late to the property. Antonio helped us through the late night and made sure we were comfortable I would recommend this property to anyone.
This is not a hotel. It’s a BNB. The walls are filthy dirty and covered in black mold. We slept a few hours and left. I wouldn’t stay here again.
We booked this hotel close the airport so we could fly out extremely early the following morning. I received a text from Antonio the morning before our check in stating there was a problem with the room and asked if he could offer us a different location, which was an apartment, for the same price. I stated that would be fine and he also assisted with helping me arrange a taxi for the following morning to the airport. Antonio was very helpful with everything and I really appreciate it. However, after a very long day of traveling in an unfamiliar area,it was disappointing to finally arrive at the changed location of the hotel to find that it was in a residential neighborhood with no food anywhere close and the airport was about 5 km away. The reason we picked the original location was because of its proximity to the airport, knowing that we would arrive early evening and there were several restaurants near to grab something to eat that evening before a very early flight. While the changed location gave us a bed to sleep there were several other frustration such as we are a family of 3 so there was 1 bed and a sofa bed, but the sofa bed did not have any blankets in the location to put on the bed. There were no trash bags and the hot water came out as a drizzle. It was very disappointing. We also had to walk 15 minutes each way in the dark on a road with hardly any shoulder to find food. Thankfully the taxi driver did show up as I had no way to get to the airport otherwise.
Great stay.
Excellent communication by host. Easy to access room & great location close to the airport. Will be on my list of preferred rooms for the future.
It's close to airport, clean. This is not a normal hotel it is more like an Airbnb. Nobody in person to talk to. Only we were able to contact through WhatsApp. You kind of have to figure out things your self. Overall it was a good place to stay the night to catch up our flight next day. :)
Great neighborhood with many good places to eat and drink. Close to the airport with a connection to a reasonable shuttle service. Antonio was very very helpful in giving direction from the airport to entrance into the property. I would definitely rent again.
Close to few restaurants Close to airport
Perfect for a long layover with a family.
We had a long layover in Rome, so came out of the airport to get some rest. Antonio arranged to pick us up from the airport and sorted our taxi for the morning. Room was very clean and comfortable and there was even some breakfast and water there for us. Everything we needed to get some rest.
Appartement propre et confortable avec un service irréprochable.
Antonio did a great job. He gave us an early check in, was inconstant communication with us and set us up with a taxi to the airport. 5 Stars all the way around. Thank you.
Very nice host, bathrooms sink and a shower need some deep cleaning and fixing. Other then that it’s good for the price. It’s not a touristy zone but the airport.
Price was good, but you get what you pay for. This is not a bed and breakfast. Breakfast was a few packaged bread somethings. Awful. There is no reception at this property. No one to check in with or ask questions. Owner requires you download some stupid app to communicate. Very disappointing. Hard to find; Hard to get in; hard to leave; hard to pay; Noisy. would not stay here again and do no recommend.
Sorry but this accommodation needs serious improvement. The host never even came to greet us. There is no breakfast, just old wrapped toast and not even fresh milk to put in your coffee. No extra towels, or keys. The air conditioning was not on when we checked in and it was very hot in Rome. When I told the host we needed a taxi to the airport he sent me the number of a taxi company. I asked him to make the reservation as I could not contact the taxi company and the taxi company wanted 30 euros for a 5 minute car ride to the airport. We instead took an Uber for 13 euros. That’s Amore doesn’t seem to put any love into their accommodation. The balcony door was broken and was not locking so anyone could come in if they wanted to. In the common area there is a camera which says to me that the host does not trust the guests. Will not return.
It was easy and to access it from the airport or the town. It is a good place not only for one night stand but also for many days to discover the town. The people are friendly and very helpful.
Great communication from the host!
This place was alright for one night. Communication with the host was great and place is close to the airport. However not a hotel and not a b&b. Beds were fine but bathroom, bidet, toilet and shower were very dirty.
The room was large, comfortable and clean. The property is a short drive from Fiumicino Airport. There are plenty of decent food and drink options nearby, this is an actual neighbourhood rather than the no man's land you often find near airports. Check-in was easy with clear instructions, the management are very helpful and responsive via WhatsApp and were able to assist us in arranging an early morning taxi. Can't fault this place at all, very much recommended.
Nice small town with a fishing port. Getting into Amore is a challenge if you don't have phone service, but a helpful neighbor helped w wifi access.
Easy check in and close to the airport. Clean and nice amenities
I enjoyed how helpful Antonio was with directions and photos before I arrived.
Perfect
This place surprised me! I got it as it’s cheap and near the airport. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it was and my complimentary breakfast in my room. Also the balcony was lovely Really good communication from the hotel allowed me to check in by myself which I liked!
No Uber during night
Just Ok place for overnight stay, Ju.st word of caution Uber does not go to this area during night. Streets were deserted at night
Wonderful location
It was very pleasant. The owner is very welcoming.
Wonderful location
The owner is very friendly and very willing to accommadate in anyway. We stay here everytime we travel through Rome. It is close to the airport, walking distance to the beach and restaurants.
The heat barely worked so it was hours (3) before it was warm enough to get undressed. There was no breakfast aside from a couple prepackaged pastries and jellys. Part of the reason we chose this location was the reports of a fantastic breakfast. I did not receive instructions prior to arrival on how to enter the unit and I had to wait for the host to come by to accept payment because I didn’t have cash which I assume was to be left in a hidden location. On the plus side, it is affordable and close to the airport. Once you established contact with the host via WhatsApp, communication is prompt. With the abundance of places to choose from, I will stay somewhere else next time.
Great Stay!!!
this B&B is near FCO. We had an early flight so this place is very convenient. about a 10-15 car ride to airport. Because of COVID restrictions, breakfast was left in the room prior to our arrival. Also even though the place is located near the airport, did not hear any airport noises.
no one received us when we arrived wifi did not work
Proximity to restaurants. Quiet.
Property was nice inside, Antonio went out of his way to get us checked in. Was a little noisy in the building
Excellent service. The owner went out of his way to assist with transportation from the airport, arranging for shuttle services and any other questions. Very courteous and prompt service; quiet and private property. Highly recommend it.

The property was in a nice residential location within walking distance to the marina and loads of dining. Our room number 1 was a great size for the two of us. Only there one night but very comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t anything to talk about packaged buns and jams. Coffee machine was in the common area to share with the other room rentals.
