the quiet , the view from the room ,facilities of the hotel .very relaxing vacation
Wonderful views over the bay from the room balconies. Super nice staff. Good breakfast options and a short walk down to the beach. Highly recommended.
What made this hotel special was the staff that are employed to provide a service and that was exactly what they did with smiles on their faces. From the reception desk staff to restaurant, bar, spa, pool attendance and lets not forget the doormen and cleaners they were all pretty amazing. Let me thank you all for your service and making our holiday rememberable
Staff exceptional in friendliness and conduct. Every thing maintained well and beautifully appointed rooms
it was a beautiful clean welcoming hotel
Very friendly staff Very comfortable and eco friendly
We were the first checked in after they refined and reopened. Even though still unfinished refining… Was excellent service from all of staffs. Really enjoyed staying, all smiling faces especially Katerina, Alex, Aristos,Roshan,Andrea…Agatha..pool attendants..all were very diligent and organized workers..and sorry can’t remember all staff’s name. First impression of Cyprus is really unforgettable. Would really love to stay if our holiday in Cyprus again. Hopefully more warmer weather time.. April…is not perfect weather to enjoy but good thing is quiet. Another good thing is this hotel is child-free hotel. Enjoy your staying!
Beautiful setting great beach’s either side staff very warm and friendly beautiful views from the bedrooms excellent food good value holiday
the friendly and courteous attitude dealing with holiday makers in particular during the Thomas Cook Debacle, many of whom were severely distressed and in limbo . Staff would readily stop and engage in conversation about local amenity's and attractions elsewhere in Cyprus. My wife and I have been there many times and heartily recommend it to any potential holiday makers. Tony and Maureen Andover UK
Super location with views. Good service and excellent food. Very comfortable and restful.
Relax in style
Amazing spa. Great service and beautiful setting.
Excellent hotel. Very helpful staff at pool and bar. Our room faced west and so we saw some good sunsets.
Very pleasant stay
The hotel is about half-hour drive from Paphos airport. On arrival we heard those magical words "we have given you a free upgrade" which turned out to be a lovely sized suite with king-bed, two toilets/bathroom, living area and double sized balcony with sunbeds, table & chairs which overlooked the hotel pool and beautiful sea-view..so a good start! Hotel staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful & courteous. Pool is reasonable size with a further small round pool. Plenty of sun beds with a very friendly & helpful pool assistant. Food is buffet style with an all-inclusive option. We only had the bed/breakfast option but the evening meals looked delicious with a different themed food night each night. Nice bar with cosy outside seating in the warm evenings plus there is a beach bar during the day, half-way between the hotel and the beach with sunbeds on the lawn. Beach is very tiny & only 100 yards down from the hotel but larger beaches are easily within walking distance. Hotel is adult only and very quiet so if its a peaceful relaxing hotel you are after then I would thoroughly recommend.
Amazing views, great location, fantastic amenities, two beaches to choose from. Small issue with the cleaning staff but everyone else was excellent!
Pleasant hotel, but with drawbacks
The staff are outstanding: friendly, helpful and attentive. The spa was very pleasant, while the treatments and therapists are excellent. Overall, though, I was a bit disappointed with several aspects of the holiday. First of all, the pictures are somewhat misleading. Coral Bay is a deep "U" shape. The base of the "U" is a public beach, incredibly crowded and, at times, very noisy with music etc. The Thalassa is half-way along, perched on top of, one of the arms of the "U", so the view is of the hotels on the opposite side of the bay's "arm", the public beach (to your left) and then the sea off to the right. The bay is very busy, with tour boats (loud music intermittently and annoying, "Hi-De-Hi" type MC's giving commentary) - very intrusive, but it was intermittent. I chose the hotel on the basis of the "adults only" policy, and the pictures/description that it was in a secluded location. It's certainly not a party spot, but solitude was what I was after. Make your own choice based on that caveat. Secondly, ALL meals are buffet-style. Food was pleasant (not great), varied and plentiful, but I missed having proper restaurant service (no one used the abandoned a la carte room, at the opposite end of the hotel). Rooms: pretty basic, hard/cheap mattresses, thin pillows. Poor TV reception on satellite. Grounds - very small, just the pool and two terraces. If you want just the sun, the pool and to lounge about, it's a decent place to choose.
Fantastic place, can't fault it !
What a lovely place, not too big, food was excellent, A La Carte was out of this world. Would definitely stay again, only tiny bug bear, pillows were challenging!!!. Staff couldn't do enough. Well done Sentido Thallassa
Good location
Hotel good and staff very friendly good location can’t say anymore
A place to chill
Great staff. Great location, sea and pool. Has spa and gym and tennis court Pity it about all inclusive which has downgraded it a bit
Nice peaceful hotel just at the end of Coral Bay.
Rooms, furniture and hotel decor a little dated and tired-looking in areas. Pool area clean and well kept, enough un loungers to go around. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Hotel well situated just at the end off the beach with another beach behind. Anyone over 16yrs of age is welcome. The main street, which is 10mins walk, is hustle and bustle, especially in the evening, too loud for most. Overall nice hotel, no problems, would return no problem.
So peaceful. Adults only. The ultimate place on Coral Bay to relax, unwind and enjoy great views, food and happy, helpful staff.
Break
Very pleasant stay just two nights ... everything above average
2nd visit, excellent all round.
Never again
A poor dated tired hotel.Needs a refurb. Breakfast limited. Only apples and pears. No watermelon no peaches plums grapes figs etc etc in the middle of summer. And i did ask.I got a sorry not today. Kettle that didnt work. No aircon in the gym. A rusty balcony railing. Had to ask for toiletries to wash. Poor service from a poor hotel that frankly wasn't worth the money. Overall a poor choice one we shall not be repeating we got deceived by the pretty pictures that frankly do not tell the whole story about this hotel
Coral bays best hotel for couples
Absolutely amazing hotel worth every penny lovely staff and complete relaxation so peaceful and quite was in suite 629 highly recommend it .
Great location
Fabulous hotel, and staff even better, bedrooms could do with updating, but spotlessly clean and comfortable, so maybe being a bit harsh Would definitely go back.
Great service boutique hotel spa north of Paphos
From the minute of the (very late) arrival when they complimented us with a cheese an fruit plate waiting in the room, to the excellent advice on where to find a cozy Greek Taverna and sparkling clean facilities, this boutique hotel is a ream gem.
Excellent hotel but no longer boutique
Much better than last year but crowded pool area. Coping better with all inclusive plus those few of us on bed and breakfast. Great that the a la carte restaurant has been reopened.
Just great!
Have been to the Thalassa a few times before, about 10 years ago, staying while on business. Have wanted to go back many a time and this was the first opportunity as the youngest of the family recently turned 18. The best holiday the family has had in a very long time. Super location - breakfast and out by the pool with the sound of waves in the background or take the steps down to the beach to bathe in the sea. If you dont have a car, a bus stop is around 5 minutes walk, from where the 615 takes you to the Harbour and onward connections for €1.50 pp. But there is no need to leave the Thalassa if you're on an all inclusive package. Food, made and laid out as if it were made for us and no other, gym, spa, pool, evening entertainment, bar, beach and sea are to hand or within a few steps.
Dounle booked on arrival?
Arrived at 11.00pm having booked and paid a number of months before to be told room overbooked. We were moved to hotel next door which we specifically did not wantb to stay in.
boutique hotel in Coral Bay
The system for checking in at the hotel was excellent, no waiting around, instead you were given an envelope with everything you would need and asked to return the registration form at your convenience. Staff were attentive and helpful throughout and did all they could to make our stay pleasant. Front of house staff were especially helpful. It was early in the season so the hotel was relatively quiet and the fish restaurant was not operating which was disappointing. Overall felt that the quality of the food let this hotel down, it was not 5* level and seemed to cater more for its all inclusive guests (the majority). The al la Carte choice of menu was very uninspiring which is a pity in a hotel that has 5* rating. We used the spa services which were OK, not exceptional, and we felt rather pricey. this is a good place for a relaxing break but not somewhere to go if you want evening entertainment. It is also quite a way from the main Coral Bay shops and restaurants if you do not have a car.
great hotel in a good area for all- would book again
Pool Area is very overcrowded .
The pool area is very disappointing, the pool,is small and is in need of updating. Lots of tiles missing. The grass areas are not well tended and cigarette ends etc are very visible.
Great value
This was a five star hotel, recently converted to a 4 star, so you get huge well appointed guest rooms, very comfortable beds, great sea views from all over the hotel and comfortable public areas. Gym is a bit sad but overall a great property
Not as good as last year.
The hotel is clean and comfortable with plenty of sun loungers for everyone. We stayed on B&B basis again, as we did last year, but were disappointed to find that they no longer offer items such as eggs benedict or bucks-fizz for breakfast. We also dined twice in the a la carte restaurant last year and were very impressed with the menu and quality of food, but this year, having looked at the menu, we decided to go into Coral Bay for all of our evening meals. The hotel now offers an all inclusive option, but we prefer to try a variety of local restaurants, so we cant comment on the buffet style lunches and dinners on offer. Overall, an enjoyable stay, but will probably not go back in the foreseeable future.
fully inclusive request
Booked bed and breakfast and asked to upgrade to fully inclusive. Paid 100 Euros a day for a couple which seemed excessive. Asked to extend our break for one extra day and was quoted 250 Euros which was a non starter. However we did enjoy the stay and would return again at the right price.
Good base for walking
Nice room but bed too soft; nearly everyone else was on an all inclusive package; spa had a good range of treatments; good base for walking
classy hotel small no noise adult only bliss
I would return to this classy hotel it was perfect for a peaceful few days in Cyprus food and staff fab
Great hotel overlooking the bay
Super staff, super location, no kids, no other hotels nearby to overlook us - fab!
A great stay, perfect for relaxation, recommended.
Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The high ceiling room was in a good condition and was thoroughly cleaned every day. Staff were very helpful and did all they can to make your stay ease and comfort. WiFi signal needs some improvements (Some major apps could not be used). Public bus 615 station to\from Paphos is very close to the hotel, and you don't have to wait more than 15 minutes for the bus. The sea view and the sound of waves makes the vacation perfect.
Beautiful location overlooking beach
This was our 4th visit to this hotel. The facilities are excellent and the food as always was delicious. With one exception the staff were most helpful and attentive. The hotel has undergone in the past few months changes to its accommodation and tariff, such that it has created an identity problem. It is trying to be all things to all the people. It is trying to maintain its luxury image but has introduced"an all inclusive" tariff. This has meant doing away with several suites and converting these to single rooms. In the dining room it has meant introducing buffet style lunches and dinners.A "A La Carte" menu has been introduced which is really a Table d'Hote menu, as there are only 5 choices.Whilst the quality of the food is excellent the choices are nowhere near as extensive as in previous years. The new tariff is creating anomalies. As our family booked at different times we were on different tariffs.Beacause of this one member of staff initially stated that we would have eat separately. This was unacceptable.
Coral Bay Thalassa Boutique Hotel - what a gem!!!
Short five day Easter Break on a half board basis. Best of both as Coral Bay resourt was next door and joined in with resort activities when the mood took us. Hotel is on a penisula so choice ot two bays for swimming & jet skiing. Staff are womnderful. We stayed on a half board basis and really good breakfast & dinner each day before venturing out in the evenings. I wish thay had a sister hotel in Nicosia or Limassol so that I can do a multiple town stay next year.
Great hotel. Friendly staff. Need to do something about the entertainment for guests
great views, relaxing waves
Hotel is completely surrounded by ocean views. Nearby beach is tiny--good for relaxing sound of waves right from your balcony or even laying in bed, but not enough beach to lay out on the sand and sun bathe. Rooms facing the front of the hotel gives you sunset views. Rooms facing the pool/back gives you sunrise views. Would highly recommend getting the pool/sunrise views because the front of the hotel gets noisy from the sound of a hotel generator. Cute little village nearby with some restaurants but not a lot. This hotel is good for a relaxing getaway but not for a vacation filled with activity and going out on the town. Checkin counter was just a large desk and I was a little uncomfortable because they wrote my credit card number and expiration date on a piece of paper laying out on the desk. Was glad to see the paper gone when I came down to the lobby later, but anytime my info is written down for no good reason, I get nervous. I didn't think that was necessary--they could have typed it into their computer immediately rather than writing the number down. Nearby coral bay hotel has a lot more restaurants, bigger pool and patio area, however it's also busier/noisier from more guests and doesn't have as many floors (which limits the ocean view).
Loved it
Great location, beautiful views from window, right near the beach.
Good hotel
It is a nice hotel.
small hotel, beautiful location, & welcoming staff
Always great for a peaceful relaxing stay, we keep going back!
Lovely hotel on the beach
This was a great place to go for a quiet, relaxing winter break. It is right on a safe sandy beach. All rooms had lovely views of the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely hotel in great location.
We visited family in Cyprus, so picked up a last minute booking here. Hotel was great, exceeding our expectations. Welcoming staff, beautiful location on the cliff overlooking both Coral Bay and Corallia Beach.
Rest and recuperation
A place to renew your batteries, easy access to the beach but a lovely pool and hot tub at the hotel. a few little extras that were appreciated, fruit kebabs at 11am cold eye pads to refresh you eyes from the heat. a 2euro 50 bus ride will take you to places to eat and run frequently. There are plenty of activities on the beach for young people. This was our secind visit and will be returning again.
Very quiet and relaxing
Beautiful location with gorgeous views. Great food both lunchtime and evening menus....will be going back.......
Thalassa
I've stayed all over the world in high quality hotels yet none have allowed my mind the freedom to relax the way it was able to here. Although the hotel was fully booked you never felt the need to rush to get a sun bed or find a table or be served. We stayed in room 66 - it has a fabulous sunset view of the sea which is nothing but stunning and a place we visited every evening with a large vino. The room has twin beds and a fabulously large bathroom with jacuzzi bath alongside shower and twin sinks. Good food, quiet atmosphere ( no children ) and a team that deliver G&T on demand by the pool ;-) The evening meal in the restaurant is good if a little expensive and for breakfast the daily routine of eggs benedict and juices make for a lovely start to each day. If you wish to venture away from the hotel a little then I wholly recommend the local Italian "la Vigna " for freshly cooked food. So If you are looking for a totally relaxing time then look no further....
Worth a visit
Nice location. Coral Bay beach is enjoyable..clean sea, and clean sand. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly.
Not a 5*
Very disappointed with this hotel. The only positive with the hotel is it's location which is right on Coral Beach. Only two people out of all the staff here were friendly, that being the barman from Greece and the girl from Slovakia, the rest of them could not raise a smile!
Great location!
Nice hotel but overrated! We paid for a sea view but we got a side sea view! Room smelled mold! Poor service in general for such hotel.
Great Hotel for Pafos Area
A great hotel that offers a seclusion from the bustle typically around a beach. While we originally had an issue with the air conditioning the first night of our stay, the hotel staff responded quickly at 3 in the morning to fix the issue and resolve our problem. The wait staff was courteous, prompt and efficient (especially George at the upstairs bar!). He was also very entertaining.
Fewer rooms feels more special
This is a very pleasant hotel which has very good restaurants. The Lebanese dining area is particularly good. It is close to it's 5* rating and for this area probably correct - it wouldn't be 5* in a major city. But then the price reflects this. There are nice touches, plenty pool towels, soothing eye pads from the Spa brought around to guests at the poolside, chilled flannels in the heat of the day. The Bar prices are certainly 5* and the Spa also. The Hotel is close to the local bus service and this connects to Paphos in about 20 minutes. €1.5 per single journey during the day. This is ideal for shopping or seeing the archaeological sites nearby. Taxis are also plentiful. The Hotel does not welcome children under the age of 8
Superb hotel
Lovely 2 night stay in this excellent hotel.Great staff ,seriously comfy beds, lovely position on headland means a different beach on each side, good breakfast etcWould have liked to stay longer..
Quiet hotel, very close to beaches
Having recently stayed for 1 week, the hotel was very clean, and the staff helpful and the location next to Coral Bay beaches and the harbour is excellent. Parking was very easy, and our room overlooking the pool area was sunny first thing, then shaded later which kept it cool. The hotel was very quiet, and if you want a very relaxing break then this is a good place to stay. We did not use the extensive Spa area, but were told by other users it was good, although some treatment seemed expensive, others were free to guests. Rooms very clean, with towels changed twice daily. Breakfast was always good, and a great place to eat overlooking pool. There were always sunbeds available first thing, but later on in the day it was difficult to see which beds were still being used, and which ones had been finished with, but fresh towels were always available, and the fresh fruit skewers served by the pool were great . Going down the steps to the sandy beach and clear water was a great way to start the day, then returning to a shower and relax by the pool. If you want some evening entertainment then this is available within 5 minutes walking, or 10/15 minutes to the main Coral bay area, but for a quiet evening then stay at the hotel. They will also change half board basis to be for lunch or evening, so that gives flexibility if you want to go out at night. It was very relaxing, and we would definitely return again, and if you like good food, swimming in the sea and pool, and relaxing.
Beautiful hotel for a peaceful stay
A friend and I stayed at Coral Thalassa Boutique Hotel & Spa in early April for 5 days. We wanted a quiet, relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of London and it was exactly that. If you want a party holiday, this is not the place to stay! Set in a quiet area the hotel has the ocean on either side for spectacular views. The pool area is so relaxing and pretty. We were upgraded on arrival and had a large bedroom with a lounge area and two bathrooms which was great! The beach is very close-by down some steps but we found it to be quite seaweedy and so stayed mostly by the pool. Only downside is the pool temperature - freezing! The local area – Coral Bay- is rather tacky so for dinner we would either eat in the hotel (delicious but not much atmosphere as it is low season still – the buffet breakfast is also lovely with a wide selection), at the fish restaurant of the neighbouring sister hotel (also delicious) or we would get the bus from the end of the road into Paphos Harbour (only 1.50 euros, takes about 30mins) where there are a selection of restaurants (we would recommend Theo’s Restaurant). There is a supermarket a few minutes walk away which is useful. We used Rocky from http://iwantataxicyprus.com/ for our airport transfers – 38 euros each way and would recommend.
Boutique Beauty
Just had a weeks break at Thalassa with the family and we can truly say it was a fabulous hotel with the best staff. On arrival, received free drinks whilst completing Check-in procedures. Gifted a room upgrade FOC, possibly for stating the holiday was a treat after completing the London Marathon. Room was a two bed suite on the 6th floor with three large balconies for views from sunrise to sunset. Rooms were very clean, spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was multiple choice of everything and anything all fresh and well presented. On my reservation I advised of my food allergy which was discussed on my arrival and resulted in the head chef reviewing his dishes and advising me what I could or couldn't have. I was then presented with a marked up menu to assist with food ordering. All Staff deserve mentioning for their service, attitude, thoughtfulness, care and consideration. A truly enjoyable stay in a fantastic hotel with exceptional staff. Loved it.
Superb hotel in fantastic setting
We only booked this hotel the day before arrival and were not disappointed. Our room was large with wonderful views over the bay. All amenities are first class including the gym and spa. We upgraded to half board which proved to be very good value as we were able to choose three courses from the a la carte menu. The food was good, but dinner was somewhat overshadowed by breakfast which was quite superb, with an excellent choice of hot and cold dishes, fruit, pastries etc. As we had a late flight, we were offered a late check out time and then allowed to stay round the pool before showering in the spa centre. Being early in the season, the hotel was very quiet and provided us with a wonderfully relaxing experience. Will definitely return in the future.
Last minute booking, so only stayed one night. Was so welcome'g in all aspects. Pity weather was not too good as it has a wonderful setting. Breakfast was a feast, even champaigne!!! Definately stay there again.
over all amazing
We travel the world and see many 5 star hotels... The overall experience is excellent.. Service really tops! The hotel was very welcoming in every way.. Attention to details.. Only thing that bothered us was they turned the air con off and for us english 25•c is hot but I guess for visitors from hotter countries its cool.. Also very nice sandy beach and not to forget the stunning views from rooms.. This hotel deserves a excellent review
Chill out hotel
We spent a week here the 2nd week in October The hotel has lovely views of Coral Bay and its a short walk down the steps to the beach. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff looked after us very well. The beach bar and restaurant both served excellent food. Being end of season there weren't too many other places very close by in the evening unless you fancied walking up to the main strip; which isn't that far. The indoor pool was a bit chilly but the outdoor pool was lovely and we always managed to get loungers and towels. The bar/restaurant prices are typical of a five star hotel, that's not a criticism, just setting realistic expectations. All in all a very relaxing week.
Excellent location, fantastic views
The hotel is in a beautiful setting with Coral Bay to one side and an adjoining bay to the other. The lounge and pool side facilities are lovely, extrmeley comfortable and well maintained. Touches such as fruit kebabs during mid-morning and soothing eye masks at lunch time around the pool make it feel very special The rooms are well equipped but ours was in need of some maintenance. The floor had deep scratches in the wood where bedgs had been moved and the desk and table needed a revarnish. A pity such little things took the edge off a top class hotel. Having said that it didn't spoil our stay and we would definitely revisit.
Two day break to celebrate an anniversary
My partner and I took my parents to celebrate their wedding anniversary. The hotel was wonderful. The staff where so friendly and polite. Our rooms where excellent. I booked 2 double rooms with a sea view. Only 1 room had a spectacular view of the sea the other had its own garden with very limited view of the sea, but which was a nice surprise for my parents and as we only stayed 2 days this was ok, but had we stayed longer I would of asked for a room change. I would defiantly stay here again and will be looking to return next year for a longer stay. The spa is excellent but did not have time to use it. Only criticism was there where enough sunbeds but a lot of them had personal belongings left on them for over 2 hours and no one using them. We spent half an hour looking for a sunbed that wasn't in the shade and we couldn't find the pool attendant to help us. This was very annoying we where not the only people looking for an available sun bed. The available sunbeds we where unable to move as they where on the grass area and couldn't get them passed trees or other beds. Overall though we where really pleased with the stay.
Prime seaside location
The position of the hotel with sea views from every angle was stunning. Our 1 bedroom suite with two bathrooms gave us space and comfort. Fabulous view from our double balcony. Our room was peaceful and well soundproofed adding to the totally relaxed feel of the hotel. All staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel food was excellent including the room service food also. The spa was excellent and beauty treatments offered were varied. I tried the exfoliating body massage which was divine. The surrounding area of beach and mountains in the background was lovely, however beach could have done with a good clean and was not very enticing to spend time on. However we did swim in the sea before returning to the poolside at the hotel. Overall excellent hotel and very relaxing stay.
Lovely relaxing holiday
We spent a week at the Thalassa in September and were impressed by the beautiful location, excellent facilities and welcoming staff who helped with any queries promptly and courteously. Highly recommended for a quiet relaxing holiday but within easy reach of Paphos and other beaches nearby. We had a hire car but there is a good bus service into Paphos where you can catch a bus to other parts of the island. Highly recommended and we would go back any time!
Great hotel . Nice and quite no kids !
Great service. Looking forward to a return visit. Thoroughly recommend
Great place for couples
We arrived at the hotel in our hire car on a very hot afternoon. The doorman came out immediately to welcome us and when we checked in we were upgraded to a suite; this was great as we are 2 elderly widows, so it was lovely to have our own bathrooms. The hotel is built on a promontory and has sea views on all sides. You go to sleep at night with the sound of the sea lapping on the shore. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfasts were superb and were served in the dining area overlooking the pool and the bay. The pool was looked after by a team who were out early in the morning laying fresh towels on the sunbeds. Mid morning they came around with skewers of fresh fruit and later cool flannels. It is a small luxury hotel and is a romantic place to stay.
A relaxing and welcoming place to stay
This is an adult only hotel so quite quiet and relaxing. It was always easy to get a poolside lounger. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. I stayed there with my son and the tennis court was always free. Didn't use the spa or restaurant so can't comment. We had a hire car and there was always ample space. The views are great because the sea is on both sides of the hotel. There is easy access to a sandy beach - not always the case in Cyprus. Breakfast was always good, the rooms were clean and efficiently serviced. To be honest it was hard to fault the place!
Perfect quiet luxury getaway for couples
Amazing location on the peninsula with wonderful clear sea either side. Beautiful hotel reception and outdoor seating area, complete with cream sofas, contemporary ornaments and candles. This is a quiet, small hotel for those looking to unwind, enjoy great food, excellent bar service and in our case fantastic sunny weather. Our sunset facing room was small but comfortable although the air con could have been more effective, but it was particularly humid. The place is immaculate and the spa, which I didn't really use apart from one fabulous facial, was welcoming and spotless. The staff are extremely professional and friendly, especially the lovely George, Olga and Magdalena at the Beach Bar and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back, if the grandparents will have the children again! Much thanks to everyone at Thalassa.
Great hotel for a couple seeking relaxation and go
Staff were exceedingly pleasant, helpful and polite.Food was excellent and menu varied.Altogether a pleasant experience
Lovely getaway
We spent 4 nights at Thalassa Boutique Hotel. It is located in a stunningly beautiful spot. Great position to photograph sunsets and sunrises. The pools at the hotel are beautiful. We preferred walking across to Arapis beach for a swim. The reception staff and service was exceptional. The rooms are comfortable clean and all staff were polite. Breakfast was included in our package. There was a good selection of cereals, fresh fruit, and yoghurt, also a selection of delicious honeys. The hot buffet could do with some tweaks, eg, the bacon tended to be rubbery rather than crispy, We had lunch at the hotel couple of times. The steak sandwiches were disappointing, the mediums and medium rare ordered were raw. Also, there was a lot of sinew. On the upside, the roast vegetable sandwich was good, the spaghetti bolognese was perfect. In general, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return and recommend it to others.
Thalassa Boutique Hotel & Spa | Hotel in Pegeia | Travala.com
Enjoyed our stay here. It's a smaller hotel (compared to the Coral Beach next door), so it's much quieter, especially as there are no children. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel. The outdoor pool area was really well maintained and the staff were very attentive (perhaps a little too attentive?). However, the indoor pool looked a little 'tired', looking like it needed some attention. The breakfast buffet was varied and well-prepared. The hotel restaurant for evening meals, despite being very good, was at the expensive end at around €100 for two people for a two-course meal with wine. The local beach can be reached from the hotel, and there are plenty of other places to each or drink within a few minutes walk, or a 20-minute walk into the local town.
