A great find!

I had to spend the night in johannesburg after landing late evening from NY, to catch an early morning flight the next morning. I was looking for a very reasonable accommodation for the night and Terrylin reviews online were nothing short of fantastic. Im now able to second that sentiment. Stephen and Joy were absolutely wonderful. They take very good care of their guests comfort and safety. There was another couple who was also catching an early morning flight and they connected us so we could share a taxi together. They had already arranged for the taxi before I woke up. Thank you both for making the start of my South Africa journey so comfortable!

Nice place close to the airport

If you are looking for a place to stay near the airport and you are traveling by car this is definitely the best place when you look on the value for money aspect.

If you need some peace and quiet, no disturbance, no hassle then this is your hotel, its cheap, its easy to find, friendly staff. Professional manager. Excellent and fast service. Its at the center of everything, next to town, close to the airport and quiet neighborhood

Perfect stay for a short visit to Joburg

Great spot for short over night trip to Joburg, 2km from airport friendly host +extra clean. Great family room bunks + Queen. Could not ask for a better spot for our visit in this gated house.

Immaculately clean b and b quiet and relaxing

Steven and Joy were great hosts. It was like staying at a friend's house. It's not your traditional backpackeers, the building is immaculately clean and it's a great place for a quiet rest if you have an early flight out of Johannesburg as it is very near the airport without airport hotel prices. The owner were great conversationalists and fill you in on all the need to knows regarding South Africa. A cab to the airport should set you back around 150 rand although Uber may be cheaper. Don't go there for a party go there for some nice rest in a safe environment.

One night in Johannesburg

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean including the bedroom, lounge area, dining area, and kitchen. We were provided tea and biscuits (cookies) and rusks for breakfast free of charge. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this place as well as stay here again. Wifi was available and was not expensive. Great place!

Great value for money. The host, Joy, is very nice and she even helped us order for food. We were there for two nights (before and after a safari). The shuttle to the safari picked us up at the airport. As the hostel is located very close to the airport it was perfect for us. Thanks again Joy
