Very pleasant and comfortable

Period style accommodation renovated, felt like we were in France or Italy. Dinner was a fine dining treat with our host and chef Daniel. Memorable stay.

Great for short break. Spacious room, a bit rustic, only a soft queen bed, Kingsize would suit the space better. Kitchenette well equipped, spacious bathroom, good air con. Quiet location, friendly hosts

Rustic and charming, but with all the modern comforts you could want. They really use a small space efficiently, so you feel cozy rather than cluttered, yet have everything you need right at hand. The location is perfect, with about 8 cellar doors in easy walking distance and the Riesling trail right down the street. A truly lovely stay!

Fantastic stay! Bedroom beautifully decorated, brand new bathroom, quiet and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and booked dinner at Terroir the 2 nights. It was wonderful and so convenient, we did not have to drive, we just walked to the restaurant, shops, pub and accommodation. A real good address with beautiful staff making the whole experience very special. I strongly recommend to book dinner at the restaurant Terroir, it s absolutely divine!

Great unit at the back of a restaurant and boutique stores. Bed a bit soft and dips in the middle but otherwise the room was great. Probably worth mentioning to guests when they book, they should also book dining. We hadn’t considered that and there was no room for us. When dining is limited, it is usually flagged by accom providers. Great pizzas nearby though.

A great getaway

A lovely cottage experience in the small town of Auburn. Very relaxing in beautiful surroundings. Friendly and welcoming staff.

A delight. A glass of wine under the peppercorn out the back was one of the highlights of my year. Make sure you book for dinner as well

Attention to detail and quality within the room. Short walk to the Restaurant which truly needs more a-claim. Historic and warm.

We could have done with another chair and a table as it was difficult to manage breakfast

Gorgeous historic cottage

The Terrior cottage is a historic building they have converted, it is wonderful. Very comfortable, the bed was a little soft but not a problem. There was parking along side the cottage. The restaurant was amazing and definitely recommend eating there. It was a set 4 course meal. I would certainly stay at Terrior again

Quiet and quaint, perfect.

Terroir was a great place to stay, a nice little boutique with a sensational restaurant on site. The rooms were spacious with all that you could need, including a minibar and fridge, huge bathroom, and facilities to make breakfast, including a toaster, plates, bowls, cups, and tea/coffee facilities. There's even milk in the fridge. The hosts were great and friendly, and the whole property has a homely feel. The rooms are behind the restaurant at the back of the property, and are nice and large, plus there's an outdoor area to enjoy if the weather is warm, where you can enjoy the beautiful gardens. Breakfast is not included, so you can do it yourself, or walk to a nearby cafe to eat if you prefer. The place is walking distance to anything in Auburn, and a short drive to other places and wineries in the Clare Valley. While here, definitely check out the restaurant, which focuses on farm-to-plate meals, and is spectacular! I'd definitely stay here again! Very nice!

Fanstastically comfortable bed

I liked the cottage feel of the room, was very quaint. Instructions to find the property and room was excellent. Would have loved a hand towel and shelf in the shower. Would like to see a small table in bathroom area to accommodate use of the power points as there no free points available in bedroom area. Water for kettle with bathroom tap was difficult. A/c was not working efficiently.
