A perfect hotel for your stay in Rome!

This was my first trip to Italy and so I was quite excited about my stay in Rome. The Terrace Pantheon Relais is a mere 4 minute walk from the Pantheon. A friend of mine recommended staying in this neighborhood. Three words immediately come to mind: location, location, location! This is the perfect spot for all of your sightseeing destinations, especially the short 4 minute walk to the Pantheon! I can’t say enough good things about the staff - they were ultra helpful with everything from restaurant recommendations to providing a brush which I forgot to pack. Everyone was so friendly. The room was clean and spacious. I was very pleased with my stay and would definitely return here the next time I’m in Rome.

Great location and walkable to many historical sites! Great staff that went above our expectations and wonderful breakfast and roof top bar. Our room was in the annex building and it’s right next door to the hotel. Easily accessible to everything. They assisted will getting us taxis. Bernard was very personable and helpful with breakfast.

This hotel is fantastic! The staff is SO helpful and nice. They arranged for us to be picked up at the airport, called restaurants on our behalf, and delivered things to our room within minutes of the request. It is in a great location on a quiet side street. I can't say enough good things about the staff and this hotel. My kids kept commenting on how nice everyone was. I would definitely stay here again -- They go above and beyond!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location can’t be beat, and the room was comfortable, quiet and had all the amenities needed. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, too.

Good stay in Roma

Nice rooms and good service amenities. As is common with Roman rooms, you’re not sure if you’re in an apartment building or condo or a hotel, every floor seems different, but the service was great. As was the location, cleanliness, and service. One thing that is difficult is getting a cab or ride share in the area. Limited pick up area makes for tight drop off/pick up. That’s my only negative about the overall experience there.

Great location close to the Pantheon

Location is very convenient, cental to most points of interest in Rome city. Staff were very friendly and professional, attended to every need we had as a family. The builing itself is very old so there's some quirks associated with it but overall stay was very positive.

This was a great experience. Everyone on the staff was so kind and attentive. We had to leave early and the even prepere us breakfast before hours in order to do not miss it. Special thanks to mr Mark B!

I would first like to mention the breakfast staffs are incredibly welcoming and helpful!!! Mark, Kiko, along with other staffs provided outstanding service during our 6 day stay in Rome! This breakfast crew went beyond to make sure everyone is well taken care! We really appreciate the genuine customer service from Mark and all the staffs from the breakfast crew. The greet us with enthusiasm when we wakeup, they also welcome us back with warm greeting after a long day exploring Rome. We are all humans at the end of the day, and they the staffs made us feel like home! Besides the breakfast crew, Marco and Glyde from the reception are also very helpful and friendly! If we ever come back to visit Rome, we will stay here again for the incredible service from the staffs! Hotel room is spotless and clean! Location is central to everywhere. On the improvement side, sound insulation isn't very good. We could hear the noises from the streets outside and from other rooms. We were still able to sleep though. Room is a bit small but we booked the smallest room so no complain here.

Nice room, high ceilings

A janitor walked in my room at 9:20am on my last day of staying without knocking the door. I said “excuse me?”, she said she was cleaning. In fact, I haven’t checked out yet. No apologized from this incident. When I told front desk this incident, the first thing they asked me was “was it male or female”, I said female. They seemed didn’t care about it as they should be. I was stucked in the elevator for over 40 minutes. When I tried to get clarification on what’s going on at front desk, they said they posted a paper in the elevator to expect electricity shortage. I entered the elevator on my own risk. Then my questions will be if you knew there will be electricity shortage to affect elevator, why you did not talk to us, email, text us or leave a note in the rooms or locked the elevator preventing anyone using? They didn’t think they did anything inappropriate and I was in traumatized and had a flight to catch, so I just left.

Beautiful hotel with a large comfortable room and bathroom. Staff was friendly and eager to help. Front desk staff was friendly, but not well trained. Recommended a restraint closed that day and unable to assist with a mailing.

This hotel was simly amazing, all the staff were extremely friendly and informative. The staff definitely made us feel over welcomed. The hotel within a great location with everything nearby. The only thing i would say is their were flies in rhe room and i got bitten three times. Also their were limited space to put your clothes away and my wife had to keep her clothes in her luggage.

Fantastic location near the Pantheon - easy to walk to restaurants, attractions and shops. It’s the staff who make this hotel though - all so friendly and attentive - quite rare in a city centre hotel. will definitely stay here whenever I am in Rome in the future

our stay at the hotel was nothing but exceptional. the hotel staff was super nice and helpful. the only reason i gave the hotel a 1 star is because of the one man at the reception. when we were checking out, he insisted to charge us €72 for city tax, which he claims that it was not included in my prepayment. but the invoice from expedia clearly stated that city tax in included in but need to be paid at the property, which is cnd$38. we were in the rush to leave and he is holding our credit card, leave us no choice to pay. he seems an experienced employee to us, and seems he has been doing this all along. if the case, i am not sure how many customers he has over-charged, who hadn’t paid attention to what their invoice stated or just like us, who has no choice but to pay in order to be able to leave on time. i will be disputing this charge once i get home for sure. would i stay in this hotel again? before the check-out, we were positive that if we ever come to rome again, this is where we will stay. but now, i guess it depends on the result of the dispute.

Amazing hotel. Great location, clean, friendly and amenable staff. Breakfast service is quite unique. Our children remembered the staff from 2 years ago and were excited to go back and see them. The service is exceptional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel!

The property was very well kept and the room was a great size for my family of 4. Since we were arriving early and allowed us to check in at 10:30 AM! The terrace was so lovely, especially at sunset. The property is in a wonderful location for sightseeing. The best part - the staff. Gly was truly a delight and so helpful before and during our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Spacious, modern room with comfortable bed and clean, contemporary bathroom. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Bus stop is just across the street and shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Loved the cafe next door. Would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Not far at al from the Vatican. A pretty easy walk. Excellent food , drink and shopping options all within walking distance. The decor of this property is also truly eclectic.

This is a gem of a stay in very close proximity to pantheon and other important tourist spots. Rooms are clean and very good friendly and professional service from staff. Will definitely stay again and recommend without hesitation

Great location helpful friendly staff boutique style nice rooftop bar

Very hard bedding. Also we were placed in an annex of the hotel next door without being informed. We didn’t appreciate too much this and apparently the annex rooms are smaller than the main hotel.

This was an amazing hotel. Definitely a boutique hotel (no large lobby) but perfectly done. Old world charm leading up to our room and then modern amenities in our room (such as a large new bathroom). They still kept some charm of the old building though - such as the original high ceilings in the bedroom. To get to our room, we had to walk next door through a large old door that had a small door built into it! This was one of our favorite parts of coming and going into our room. We also passed though an old classic courtyard, up one flight of marble stairs and through another thick old door before we came to our room. It was a very fun experience for us every time. The breakfast was amazing! So friendly and accommodating were the staff. The rooftop deck was a “hidden” gem. Not great views, but a perfect place to have a cocktail and relax. We took advantage of it every night while the kids stayed in the room! I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great two night stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Shared great recommendations of restaurants and areas to see. The room was clean and quiet at night. I highly recommend for a family of four.

Very happy with our stay and experience at the Pantheon Relais. The room was just the right size with high ceilings for a spacious feeling, the bathrooms were clean and worked perfectly. The breakfast cafe had the essentials to get our day started, and the rooftop bar/lounge was simple but a nice way to finish the day with a glass of wine. And best of all was the staff, all staff was extremely courteous and helpful, and they take care of your needs before you even have to ask, plus they all seem to speak many languages, so all of us international guests get the same great service. We were very happy with the Terrance Pantheon Relais, and would highly recomend it.

Perfect Location with friendly staff and nice and clean rooms.

This is a wonderful hotel with the most hospitable staff. So much consideration that you really do feel taken care of. First, the rooms are spacious and clean. We felt that the beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms were easy to use. Housekeeping was so kind in keeping us updated everyday with sufficient towels, toilet paper, and clean beds. Second, the breakfast was wonderful. You can choose from various savory or sweet options, and the bar staff will ensure that you get your coffee(s) or whatever other drink the way you like. Third and finally is the location. I argue that this area (literally a straight and close walk to the Pantheon) is the best center location for all of Rome. You can easily find a clear route to the Vatican, Trastevere, colosseum, or Trevi and Spanish steps. If you ever need a taxi, just ask the front desk to call one for you and they arrive in minutes. Overall 10/10.

The only complaint I have is the beds were hard! Everything else was awesome!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and quaint. Perfect boutique style hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was AMAZING!! I would definitely stay here again if and when I go back to Rome. Location was excellent also. Close enough to the tourist hot spots but far away enough that you weren’t in the constant crowds. 5 stars for sure for this excellent hotel with an even more excellent staff!!

The staff at this hotel were exceptionally kind and helpful! The location was also perfect - right in the middle of all major sites. The only very minor issue was the slightly inconsistent elevator, and having only a single bartender most times on the lovely rooftop bar. This hotel is highly recommended!

Great location. Able to walk to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and many other attractions. Great restaurants close by. Staff were so friendly and accommodating - responding immediately to any requests. Would highly recommend!

The staff are all nice and given us a warm welcome. They go above and beyond to make us satisfied on our stay. They always asked if we need anything and how they can help. Very neat place to stay.

The room was amazingly pretty with high ceilings. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of room for three people with 3 large luggages. The air conditioning was strong and adjustable. Bathroom was modern and had great water pressure. Best part was the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful with our luggage, transportation and dining recommendations. Their email communication prior to our arrival were timely and fast responses to any inquiries. We walked everywhere for the short time we were there prior to our cruise trip. The location can’t be beat!

My wife and I would go back in a heartbeat!

Do yourself a favor: Look elsewhere.

Our stay here was utterly disappointing as well as uncomfortable. The air conditioner in our room was malfunctioning, and even after a full night of letting it run at the coolest setting, we slept in a hot room. Despite repeated requests for assistance, the hotel staff displayed a shocking lack of concern, offering nothing more than empty apologies and feeble excuses, passing the buck all the way. I've never heard so many people blame "their colleagues" as I have in this place. Their unwillingness to rectify the situation left us sweating and sleepless throughout the night, rendering our stay a very regrettable one. Steer clear of this establishment unless you're in the market for a stay that's synonymous with discomfort and disappointment, and are willling to put up with staff that are politely going to ignore your every request for help if you need it.

Great stay and wonderful staff!

This hotel is in a great location for walking to major sites in Rome. It has a great rooftop area for enjoying a glass of wine and enjoying the sunset. Also the staff was extremely helpful with transportation and directions and anything else you might need help with during your stay!

Lovely hotel. The staff is very helpful and always available. The building has a beautiful old look with modern luxury feel- Rooms are spacious and elegant and beds are real King size and very comfortable. Bathrooms are small, but well done. Would definitely go back!

Hotel is very good with a great location. Rooms are nice but the biggest issue is that there is absolutely no storage area - no drawers, no shelves. Nothing to even keep your toiletries in the bathroom. In that sense it was inconvenient. But otherwise good hotel, very convenient & in a safe location. Central to all attractions.

We loved this romantic, chic and newly renovated hotel/former palazzo. The renovation preserved cool details like the 20’ room ceilings with original molding that make even a small room seem expansive. Modern amenities make everything easy and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Don’t miss the great rooftop views and bar. This hotel is perfect for couples who want a romantic getaway after shopping and sight seeing in fantastic Rome!

The hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent. Geyzeff at recess was awesome. She was super helpful in many areas. The hotel is easy walking distance to tons of food, shopping, and attractions.

The power system is not adequate to run the air conditioner. The room is beautiful but very warm to sleep. The staff is very helpful and kind.

The room was newly renovated, modern and perfectly appointed. The staff provided exceptional service. If I walked by a staff member no matter the time of day, they’d ask if I needed anything (i.e. coffee, water…). The breakfast had a great variety of tasty food. Then there was the location. A block from the Pantheon and other ruins. Walk to many piazzas and restaurants. A taxi cab stand was right around the corner. From there you could go anywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to a return visit.

Great Location!

Terrace Pantheon Relais' location is one of the best in Rome. It's no more than a 15 minute walk to anything (other than Vatican and Trastavere, which are a little further). The room was comfortable. Bed was nice. Hotel was pristinely clean. Rooftop bar is nice. Breakfast is good. Only 'negative' is the hotel isn't a traditional hotel in the way it's laid out, which we did not realize. Our room was on a floor of an apartment building (w/ apartments above us) that was next door to the hotel lobby/breakfast/rooftop bar. That was not a problem but was unexpected.

Gorgeous property and incredible staff. We would definitely return

This hotel exceeded expectations. The locations was perfect and we walked to almost everything. The front desk staff was the most helpful of anywhere we stayed in Europe. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing we would suggest to the hotel to improve is the comfort of the mattress and softness of sheets. Other than that it was perfect!

The breakfast staff was super friendly and happy! The front desk girl that checked us in was very helpful with tips around city and very friendly. The roof top bar is beautiful. Unfortunately the bar tender told us there wasn’t any menus as they were being printed so we went ahead and ordered 2 mojitos a beer and a red wine. He didn’t seem very confident in his skills and took about 15 mins to make 2 mojitos. He also brought a red wine that tasted like it was opened a week before. We received our bill and it was around $50 euro. This is the highest we’ve paid in the whole city! My husband then went and chatted with the front desk man and told him that they need to have menus upstairs as we would never have ordered drinks knowing their price we could have walked 20 steps and found another beverage. The front desk staff was very rude and short with him. Stating that’s the price and there’s a menu. The room was great and clean. A little small but that’s ok. The only downfall of the room was that the bed has a plastic mattress cover under the sheet. It made the uncomfortable bed even more uncomfortable. New beds would be good idea. Other than that the hotel is nice and in a perfect location. Carrie & Richard james.

The hotel service was amazing. I cannot say anything negative about it or any one. They really bend over backward to make sure you are well taken care of. The staff at the breakfast (which was FANTASTIC, BTW), were so accommodating. If you needed anything, they were there instantly. The food was so fresh and the cappuccinos!! YUM!!! The furnishings are beautiful and modern and the room and hotel were extremely clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again. My only issue was the AC unit made a crackling sound pretty much every time it kicked on - but once I put ear plugs in, I was fine!

Fantastic staff and location

Great hotel in a fantastic location - close to all main areas of interest, restaurants and shops. The reception staff were so professional, friendly and helpful, especially with restaurant suggestions and booking a car to and from the airport.

Relatively small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely located within rome with good bus links though most monuments are within walking distance.

El personal fue muy atento en todo momento. La localización del hotel con respecto a los puntos de interés más importantes es excelente. Las habitaciones muy cómodas, limpias y muy bien decoradas y ambientabas. Todas las mañanas nos ofrecían café antes de salir a recorrer la ciudad y siempre nos ayudaran para conseguir transporte desde y hacia el aeropuerto. En general me encantó hospedarme en este hotel y lo recomiendo por completo.

Perfect location and Amazing Staff

We stayed at the Terrace Pantheon Relais for a Thursday-Monday in November. The location was perfect for all of the sights that were important to us and easy to walk to all the highlights. The room was spacious and clean. The highlight, however, was the staff. From the moment we arrived ALL of the staff seemed to be bending over backward to be helpful and welcoming. This included the front desk (Marco, GJ, and others) the cleaning staff, the bartender on the cute rooftop terrace, and literally everyone we interacted with. The team here is doing something right and they jumped for our every need. I would highly recommend this hotel. The cost/value was great.
