The staff was friendly and helpful.

This was a great and convenient place. I really love the room and the historic colonial touches. The staff was very attentive. I would stay here again.

My sister, my cousin snd I stayed in September 2024 for my Birthday. The pool and the hot tub could use some updating. The building is older. They did a good job keeping up the authenticity of the property. The garden/flowers are beautiful. The food was also very good. Richard in Fine Dining was excellent along with the other staff. We had 8 family members/friends joined up for Dinner. 2 cousins for Breakfast. There were two particular staff that walking around watching and telling me that I already ate. Now, really, the hotel offers a breakfast buffet with my stay, then I should be able to try whatever is on the menu. I’m not a person that load my plate. I want to see what I am eating. So, I informed one of the manager (he was one of the two, and the server) that they should post a sign so people will know only one plate allowed. I am thankful they did not do this when I paid for family Dinner. Overall, I made the best of it and will not be visiting Terra Nova again. It was disappointing as this was not my first time there. I should have spent all my days at The Spanish Court.

The rooms are clean. The breakfast was great. The service for dinner was to slow.

The food is not as good as it was but excellent restaurants are in easy walking distance, so that wasn’t a problem for us.

The staff from cleaning to kitchen was amazing ...I wish i can pay them so much more for their hospitality !!! Only issue i had was the water in the bathroom i wanted to sit in the tub because of my back but water water was taking forever lol....next time ...Cant wait to go back !!!

It is a lovely colonial type building surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful grounds which separate it from a busy main road that you hardly hear. We checked in at 3am due to flight delays and the staff were competent and ver helpful getting us to our rooms. The breakfast restaurant was open and ver cool. The waiting staff were very good and it was a lovely leisurely experience. My grandson loved the pool. It was a brief but very good experience I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

There is some trees in the front with some benches, love place to sit in the mornings or evenings. The breakfast buffet was also great. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff was very pleasant.

My stay was good.

Cable vision service was out for 2 days. I felt very inconvenienced. The hotel need to settle this problem with the cable company. Otherwise I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the tasty Jamaican breakfast.

For such an expensive hotel I was expecting a little more. Don't get me wrong, it was very nice but for exemple the shower was a bit old (the floor). Regarding the service, some waiter/waitress were very nice but some others seemed like they did not want to work. For the breakfast we were put at a table without checking the cleaness after other customer used it (spot on the white cloth) - not what I expect in a 4 stars...

Overall, everything was fine, but what was extraordinary is that I had left $100 in the ATM machine and the front office staff had kept it. When they saw me, they asked if I had left a receipt and they verified the card number and gave me the money.

Wonderful breakfast, ambiance is great, lots of trees original to island. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I really loved this property. I've been to many hotels in New Kingston, and this was by from the best. Will definitely be my go to spot EVERYTIME I visit.

We enjoyed our suite (The Derby) and its amenities. The staff (Devon in the dining room and Fitzroy at the front entrance), were very kind, accommodating and gracious. We felt vey welcome! Thanks to everyone!

Lovely old school property with beautiful landscaped grounds, a bar and a breakfast terrace. The staff are just lovely. The service at breakfast is slow, but I guess it is the island way of life. A short walk to Devon House, and not far at all from the Marley Museum. Easy to find and well located. We loved our stay.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, the immaculate and spacious room, the convenient location that allow for easy access to local attractions and other dining options. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to families and colleagues.

A very disappointing experience due to the following: 1)Booked 2 rooms with 2 separate beds, however requirements were not met and necessitated lengthy discussions to resolve the issue 2) I was informed that booking would include use of pool,, but I was unable to access the pool throughout my stay. 3) Booked a room with a Jacuzzi only to find there was no Jacuzzi just a large bath. 4) Hand sanitizers not working 5) I was told that. Buffet would be £25-30 per head. I arranged for 10 people.to have the Buffet lunch and when the bill came it turned out to be $50 per head. POSITIVES Breakfast was excellent. Manager listened to above complaints offered a complimentary nights stay for next visit to Jamaica, however this was not put in writing, therefore this may cause an issue when attempting to utilise the offer.

They weren’t very accommodating although I alerted I was there for a funeral. Dinner service was extremely slow. It took almost an hour to get a ginger ale. The waitress was rude. I asked for 1st floor and was not accommodated

I enjoyed my stay all the staff was nice and courteous they made your stay very pleasant.

Overall good! They were flexible with VIP item - wine quickly substituted for sparkling water. I have to another hotel for years (at least 15 times) and they didn’t assist with an alternative because don't drink alcohol. This was excellent. There was a issue in the room that the overall rating to be compromised.

I always stay here when in Kingston because I like the quiet small atmosphere, along with the included breakfast, great staff and proximity to a lot of places. Thank you Terra Nova team.

Check in was smooth and easy however I was shocked to find out about a USD $500 deposit upon arrival. Food was good. Hotel is clean. Gym was ok. Am still awaiting release of my deposit 1 week after settling all my bills.

My check in and check out was done by the same person. Female with long braids and she was simply amazing and pleasant with a beautiful smile. She upgraded me, explained my amenities which I loved. I would definitely return

Overall the experience wasn’t too good but it’s not all bad. No mini bar, no welcome snacks, the toiletries was less than basic. The terra nova I knew back 8years ago is not the same unfortunately. The lady that checked me in the hotel on my arrival was good though…she made me feel welcomed she is what made the difference.

Quiet stay… pleasurable

Don’t waste your money. First they double charged me. The room is not what I expected. The TV/cable doesn’t work, no iron in the room. The thing good was the breakfast. I left the next day.

There were some hiccups: The waiter at the restaurant was not clear on what a dairy allergy meant which caused me to have to send her back with the meal she brought. Next, I was checked into a room above the bar with loud music - they were able to change my room when I demanded a refund and while the staff was helpful I found the check in agent to be initially curt before finally being a bit warm. Also, when I used the green washcloth provided during my shower all the dye from the washcloth came out. Thus, I would not choose this hotel again but there were some good enough features that might make it suitable for someone else.

Terra Nova for all the years I have know serves the best food. This remains the same. However, I was very disappointed in having no Television,tno shower from the bathroom ceiling and the old coffee makers in the room. Overall, I had a great stay because the staff were S1, everyone we met. Thanks Guys for such lovely service, we hope to visit again and see if there are any improvement

The staff takes very good care of its guests. Beautiful boutique hotel. Old works charm with all the modern amenities you would need for traveling.

Turn Nova is an older historical building in Jamaica. The rooms are quite outdated and have a musty smell. However, the property itself is lovely, with a great pool and excellent food. I would recommend improving the rooms.

the staff was friendly and helpful. The jamaican breakfast buffet was exemplarary. The pool areas needs an upgrade and cleaning of leaves and other debri and guestb staying at the hotel were cleaning the pool by manually removing leaves

The property had more plants and green than concrete. It had a homely feel. The staff was excellent especially the dining room. The food quality was great for variety, taste quantity and service. I was completely happy.

Beautiful, traditional property. Had the good fortune to stay in the Blanche Blackwell Suite, absolutely sumptuous, stay there if you can!

The hotel was nice. As far as food, I only ate breakfast at there but it was good Jamaican breakfast. I enjoyed the lounge (music, violinist on Thursday and DJ/nice vibe on Friday). Why I may not stay there again is because the WiFi did not work in my room (it did, however, work on the lower floor and in the lobby) and there was no television service. I was not feeling well and just wanted to relax in the room with some entertainment, but there was nothing for me.

Front Desk staff were very courteous and professional. They addressed every issue and situations presented.

The staff are excellent, there was an inconvenience with no television service, it was beyond their control, I would recommend going there to stay.

Both the service and facilities were below average

I stayed in room 110 which was closer to the Casino parking lot, therefore, it was noisy. Then the persons across the hallway keeps slamming their doors and the persons above me keeps flushing toilet and constant walking. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were rough. The staff were super friendly and I love the breakfast. I enjoyed the on-site entertainment especially Jazz night.

Upgraded facilities. Professional service from staff. Efforts to maintain standards. Comfortable room but could be more sound proof. Could hear guests in adjoining room and walking in room above could be disturbing if prolonged

The wait to access the room was inordinately long - over three hours After waiting that long there one would have thought some form of be compensation e.g. complimentary meal or part refund on the room for that particular night. All you were told was 'sorry for the wait'. Tired, hurgry and sleepy after travelling by air and ground transportation foral most 6 hours very disappointing to say the least. You asked and I responded .

The first night was beautiful. I Was enjoying all the service that I taught that I was to receive, but to my surprise the next day I didn’t get all my perks That was stated and had to call twice for someone to come and clean my room 🤔🤔I was very upset about . I must say that the premises very well kept, slept beautiful on the bed very comfortable beds,Breakfast was nice., I must say all staff very nice very polite.as I said the first night I felt at home second night wasn’t What I was expecting, specially about getting my room cleaned and only got one bottle of wine. Nobody brought the other one don’t know what happened to it and then I didn’t get all my perks

I loved how it was tucked off a busy street yet still quiet and nicely laid out.

A great place to stay in Kingston, JA. The room was excellent. The food was world class. The Manager’s Reception was special - a great way to say “guests we appreciate you choosing to stay at TN while you are visiting Kingston.”

Everyone was very friendly expect I had an issue at the bar with cold food, and bartender wouldn’t help. The breakfast was amazing and the staff kind.

I would stay here a thousand times again. The service was impeccable, the food was great and the staff were all friendly, courteous and attentive. I only stayed a night and they treated me like a queen. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a hotel in Kingston.

Great stay! Would stay again

This is not a large hotel with many rooms. Property was quiet with lots of parking. The suite was very clean and spacious. My main issue was the lack of good quality cable news channels in the room.

This one occurrence

Our stay at the Terri Nova was absolutely enjoyable. The room was very spacious, clean and beautiful. The food was amazing however on 7/18/ 2024 I had family and friends over for dinner and was embarrassed at the length of time it took for us to receive our meal after shearing how awesome the service. After more than one hour of waiting I had to ask for a cancellation of the order. It was only them that someone came to address the situation because we were basically ignored after the drinks were served. My guest left with a negative image that defeated my goal.

Overall a good stay but it was very difficult to get transportation even when the hotel when arranging it for you.

Terra Nova is our "go to" hotel in Kingston. The staff is amazing and the property has enough space to walk around, a pool big enough for a swim and a gym for adequate workouts while on vacation. You need to try it. Great job again Terra Nova.
