The hotel is excellent and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and polite. They made it a joy to stay there. The rooms are spacious, well kitted out, regular cleaning and private pool maintained daily. Few if any complaints. Some parts of the stone fabric look like it needs replacing or cleaning but it’s highly functional. The views from the pool bar area are v pleasing and the New Year party excellent. The commute from the airport is tortuous but our hotel driver did his best to make up for it but 3-4 hours for a 40km journey is almost as long as the flight from Perth. This is not an issue if you are staying a week or more. And the staff make up for it with their welcome 🙏

This is a wonderful family- style boutique hotel with great design, atmosphere vibe and service. In the short time of my stay (5 days) I have become great friends with staff. It’s more than a friendly environment, it’s a home you want to come back to again and again. Thank you so much, Tejabisma, we love you ❤️

This hotel is excellent, super clean, great position, gorgeous views and great faciities we loved it! Walkable to all facilities and right near the monkey forest. We hired Aris as our taxi driver and he was amazing very knowledgeable and made us feel very safe as the roads are just crazy! Dirah the receptionist was just so helpful and all the staff were just lovely, so genuinely polite and friendly - we felt so welcome, we will be back, thanks to all!

Le Tejaprana Bisma est, sans aucun doute, le meilleur hôtel que j’ai jamais fréquenté, et j’ai beaucoup voyagé ! Niché dans une zone calme d’Ubud, il offre une proximité idéale avec les restaurants, bars et temples, tous accessibles à pied. Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée, au calme absolu, avec une piscine privée offrant une intimité totale, sans vis-à-vis. Le personnel est d'un professionnalisme remarquable, toujours attentif et souriant. C'est un petit hôtel à taille humaine où l’on se sent immédiatement bien. Mention spéciale pour le spa, dont la qualité et le professionnalisme sont irréprochables. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est exceptionnel : petit déjeuner à la carte avec un large choix, incluant des spécialités indonésiennes, et le dîner est tout aussi remarquable. Chaque repas a été d’une qualité extraordinaire, mes félicitations au chef ! Le service de navette est également très pratique. Un plus unique : chaque matin, des singes en liberté visitent l’hôtel. Enfin, la piscine chauffée est un véritable atout pour se détendre. Un séjour inoubliable !

Fabulous

Best place to stay in Ubud. Location is great for all the restaurants. Hotel and staff are incredible. They do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your stay. Will come back.

love our villa with personal pool we stayed at. First stay in our Bali stay where the shower had good strong water pressure. staff was amazing and super nice, outstanding Balinese hospitality and well spoken English. villa is very well maintained, quiet and peaceful while still being walkable to busy shopping area on Bisma and Monkey Forest street. 5 mins walk from the Monkey Forest so will see monkeys roaming into the villa. we were presented with daily fresh fruits and bottled glass water. our daily breakfast is made to order from menu. food and cocktails were all delicious and we don’t say that lightly. Their happy hours is buy one cocktail, get one free. their mango sticky rice is very good and I ordered this a couple of times. they do offer activity such as yoga and even have dance performances there but we didn’t have time to participate. the only downfall is when catching a Grab car (app ride), they can only come down on Bisma street so alot of time we are stuck in traffic getting back to villa but not their fault. Grab scooter isn't a problem though. traffic is just very typical in Ubud.

Amazing place to stay, this is our second time here and it’s located wonderfully. You can stroll into central Ubud within a matter of mins and yet it’s set back far enough so the villas are tranquil and peaceful without any noise of traffic etc. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond. If you are looking at booking this place then just do it - you won’t regret it!

Incredible venue. We had the AC leaking water and was resolved very very quickly. Other than that, food and views were fantastic. 0 issues.

Beautiful respite in Ubud

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. The room was very nice with a view of the field and forest. We had a few monkeys around also. It was a very peaceful respite from the crowds and traffic in the Ubud area. The restaurant food was delicious and we actually ate most of our meals there as we wanted the peaceful setting after a hectic and tiring day of touring. Ubud is a somewhat central hub for visiting the other areas too, but you will spend a lot of time in traffic and driving distances. Ubud is crowded as narrow streets but many cars, scooters, and people all trying to get through. If you want to explore a lot of tourist spots then stay here. Tejaprana Brasma is the best in the Ubud area. If you want to just relax and enjoy nature then I would choose a quieter area of the country or just stay at the resort. For comfort issues the bed and pillows were firm for me but we made some adjustments that helped. Again if you want to stay in Ubud then this resort was excellent.

There are not enough words or space to write about this magical place—the facilities are wonderful, the staff is very attentive and the spa is great. There is a driver for the hotel, Made, who is fantastic. He drove us to great places, told us about the history of various parts of Bali, and was extremely knowledgeable. If you stay at the resort, I recommend that you ask for Made to drive you around to see the sites. You will not be disappointed!

Staff are wonderful, they are very friendly and remember your name. Their spa facilities is good with nice treatments and the room are nicely decorated. However, I found stains in the bed sheets and for the bathroom, I would recommend warm lights than white lights which is more cohesive with the ambience of the room. The property is located in a more quiet area of Ubud, not near to the main shopping area. And the view of my room and the yoga area is amazing and serine.

Wow, I have so many words to describe this magical place, I can write for days and I will be short. The hotel have an a perfect view, so clean they clean the hotel twice a day. they very very educate, kind, friendly , Ha, Atik, Gus, Weda, Yoga, Dah, Aditya, Aris, Made, Abu, Desai, Swan, Eva, Kucik Ayu, Ahis, I stay there for 7 days and all of them do not have words to describe them, BUT an special shoutout for Mr, ANGGA, uff he was my daily driver and guia, I give thanks to my God for put person like him on my life, unfortunately was only for a week. Overall the hotel have excellent food, excellent location, Bali was a really dream destination for me and all those people make it better. Thank you crew.

I never bother with online review but had to write one for Tejaprana Bisma. This is where you want to stay if you want to be able to walk around Ubud but feel like youre a million miles away from any hustle and bustle with the most amazing staff once you reach your accommodation. We experienced the best hospitality of our lives staying here, the staff were absolutely lovely. The rooms are immaculately clean, the facilities are excellent. The plunge pools in the rooms are great and the infinity pool by the restaurant has a stunning view at sunset. The food is delicious! Staff are great at gelping to solve any problem big or small (e.g. the air con in the first room we stayed at was a little loud so they happily moved us to another room as soon as they realised it needed repair)

One of the best hotels we have stayed in!

This was a comfortable well maintained hotel. The room was excellent with private plunge pool with sun loungers. The staff were exceptional, always cheerful and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We booked a tour with driver Made, who was an excellent driver with perfect English and a great knowledge of the island. We thoroughly recommend this hotel and would use them again without hesitation.

Amazing place to stay if you are in Ubud. Close to all amenities and walkable to most places. We loved our stay at Tejaprana. Definitely recommend 10/10. Great hospitality and friendly staff.

Couldn’t have had a better time in Bali. We stayed in Bali for 7 days at Tejaprana Bisma and absolutely loved it. We got woken up by monkeys almost every morning, our villa was very clean and they give you cute little night stories every evening. The staff are absolutely brilliant, super helpful and very approachable. We’ll recommend the place to everyone back home!

We had a really great stay.

A beautiful experience I can not fault any thing with this property .The staff ,the food and attention to detail is exceptional and the morning parade of monkeys along the wall to our room was just the icing on the cake. Thank you for a lovely stay we will be back

The staff were so friendly and personable. Our room, overlooking the forest was fabulous, with our own plunge pool - very private. Resort is located in a quiet area, but still walkable to dining options, monkey forest, art market and temples. The food served in the restaurant was good quality.

Cute boutique hotel with wonderful service. We had a great stay here and enjoyed the spa. Highly recommend a massage or spa service during your stay. We booked a massage for our arrival date which was very relaxing after a long day of travel. We enjoyed our monkey visitors in the morning from our room view as well. Loved how peaceful the hotel was and again how great the service was day after day.

Exceptional!

Pure paradise & luxury from the moment I arrived. The property is beautiful and quiet, it was rare to encounter other guests outside of the restaurant area-it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The room was very spacious & the bed most comfortable. Loved the private plunge pool, even though it was not used as much as planned. The property is close to Monkey Forest so expect to see the monkeys around, an added bonus! The hotel is perfectly situated in Ubud-removed from the center so that it is quiet but in walking distance to most of town. The food at the restaurant was excellent quality & options for any diet……..and a massage (or two) at the spa is a must! What truly made the stay extra special was the staff. In my travels around the world over time, there is no comparison in my experiences to the hospitality & graciousness of the staff at Tejaprana. Always greeted by name and with a smile, each person was genuinely invested in our stay. Special shout out to Aris, who was our driver & tour guide who is so kind & gracious to teach us about the Balinese culture. We loved it so much that we ended up coming back & spending the last 5 nights of our trip at Tejaprana-simply because of Aris and the rest of the staff. We did not want to leave!

We had a beautiful valley view room with modern features. The private plunge pool was absolutely stunning. I wish we had more time to enjoy the villa. The spa in the resort was also amazing. The best massage we had on the entire trip and it was well worth the above average price. The service at the resort restaurant was also great. The front desk staff was lacking some customer service qualities.

An absolutely spotless and beautifully designed resort. The staff were very friendly. The villa was amazing, clean and very beautiful with its own plunge pool and outdoor stone bath. Could not fault a thing even the location was great, right near the main district and next door to the monkey forest.

Everyone was very helpful and took great care of us. Our guide Angga was the absolutely best ever. He showed us a great time while there. We visited all the must see places on the island.

We loved our stay here. The property and our room was up there with the best we have ever stayed at. We used the spa each day of our 4 day stay and they were amazing. Location was great - in a quiet location but an easy walk to anywhere we wanted to go. All the staff were fantastic which made our stay even better. Thanks everyone, we will be back.

Incredible Experience!

We have traveled extensively in Southeast Asia and Tejaprana would rate as one of the very best resorts we have ever stayed at. What stands out the most is the fabulous staff. From the airport arrival driver, to the front desk staff, to the restaurant servers, to the room attendants, they were all above and beyond. Warm, friendly, personal, and oh so very helpful. Our 25 year old daughter flew in for a weekend surprise for my husband, and the staff was so wonderful about ensuring it was a full (and unforgettable!) surprise -- so charming! Standout among the staff was Made as our driver and local tour guide. We cannot say enough about Made -- he made our trip incredibly special with his attention to detail, sweet thoughtfulness, and diligence. We will be talking about him for years!

A gem of a property situated down a quiet side road but within a short walk of Monkey Forest and the amenities of Ubud. The individual villas are beautiful, well equipped and very private. We loved spending our time reading under the covered daybed or cooling off in our own private pool. The staff are friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. We ate several meals in the restaurant and all were excellent quality. Their signature massage was one of the best massages I have ever had. We loved our holiday here and would return in a heartbeat.

A must for your visit in Ubud

I've been to Bali several times and have stayed in many different hotels, resorts and villas, and this is the best place I have stayed, by FAR! The room is incredible, with private plunge pool, amazing stone bath and rainfall shower, with blackout curtains and a king bed! ❤️ The staff were amazing too - so friendly and professional. And don't get me started on the breakfast - great coffee and huge delicious meals. I'll definitely be back!

Stunning Hotel with Amazing Staff

The staff was incredible and super friendly. The property and rooms were fantastic and quite large with beautiful views. We went to the spa for massages and pedis and had a private yoga lesson and it was all perfect and relaxing. The restaurant food is delicious and the chef who made the traditional Indonesian duck meal was amazing. We loved our stay here and hope to return. Tejaprana Bisma is a true gem.

Dreamy Bali getaway

The Tejaparana Bisma is an incredible place to stay in Ubud. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The customer service is fantastic- staff members remembered my name and went out of their way to over-deliver on any request I made. The property is tucked away in a quiet area, but is in close walking distance to tons of dining and shopping options. And proximity to the Monkey Forest meant I got to meet lots of neighborhood monkeys nearby. I opted for a room with a private pool, which was magnificent and such a treat. The king size bed was so comfortable, rain shower was awesome, indoor and outdoor seating areas were great for relaxing. Loved the hotel breakfast overlooking the infinity pool, definitely a highlight of the stay. I will definitely return for a future visits, this hotel is so special.

Absolutely Heaven, we are definitely coming back. We did have the best room 106, pool and views to die for. Monkeys visited every morning and night. It was like being in a zoo. Not scary at all. Staff were amazing and friendly. On the day we were leaving, they all said goodbye, even the chief. Coming Back!!!

What an incredible place! The entire staff was so wonderful, the views were heavenly, and the accommodations were something out of a dream! We will be back over and over again!

Great staff at an awesome price

The staff at 101 were super friendly, helpful and accommodate our every need. The breakfast was tasty and the hotel is very cheap for the level of service and quality it provides.

Top-notch service and quality

Our favorite hotel on our trip to Bali! It's a quiet/small resort with great service. We felt doted on the entire time. We were offered iced tea at check-in, they brought our bags to our room for us, and each staff member remembered our names and would always say hi to us. They have a terrific pool with a great view, and the included breakfast is three courses! Three courses! I would highly recommend anyone wanting nice accommodations to stay here.

It was amazing. The view was amazing and peaceful, the staffs are friendly and helpful. Would love to come back again.

Everywhere is so clean. Every time when i walked around, i saw many staffs were cleaning. And all staffs are nice and polite. The infinity swimming pool is cool! Not crowded and i can enjoy with the whole pool. The room is clean, shower water supply is strong. Private pool is clean. Overall is excellent. Have restaurant and massage near the hotel. I must book again when i come bali next time.

Exceptional

We had a great time at Tejaprana bisma. We here for 2 nights it was very satisfying. Good breakfast,very private,great view and location(walking distance to the center) Room sevice was convenient until 2am. All staffs were kind, friendly and professional! Especially thanks to Dewa and Ariani!! Spa massage was the best in Bali so far. We will definitely stay here again.

From the main pool there is a great view of the rice terrace. And just a short walk to the main streets with great shops and restaurants. The staff are 5 star always friendly and curtious

Gem of a hotel in Ubud.

Fantastic hotel - a little gem in the centre of Ubud. Staff could not be more helpful. Room with private plunge pool overlooking the forest was stunning. Would definitely go back!

Peace of heaven

This property was fantastic. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The staff was very helpful and went out of there way to make us feel at home. The food was fantastic and Made was an awesome driver. From picking us up at the airport to dropping us off at our next stay he educated us about everything Bali. Will definitely return!

We have had an amazing time staying at this villa. From checking in Ita was helpful and kind in every possible way and it was a very pleasant process. Our room was with the Rice field room and luckily was away from the side of the villa which was close to the construction. This was very important as the noise would made our stay not as pleasant so be sure to check with the villa if you want to make a booking to see if your room is near the construction side where they start early in the morning and finishes late at night. Breakfast was pleasant with ample choices and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. There is also complimentary afternoon tea being served every afternoon and it was a good touch for the guests. All in all this was a great experience and we would recommend our friends and family to stay and experience this wonderful villa

Amazing hotel, with some very minor issues.

Wonderful 1 bedroom villa. The condition of the room was great, the pool area was a little dirty. The water also didn’t look the cleanest, but it was fine. The outside bath was really nice! It did seem a little exposed though. Although I don’t think anyone could see, it seemed like it wouldn’t be hard for anyone to peek. The free welcome spar was nice, although the therapist wasn’t very friendly( especially when compared to the other wonderful staff) The housekeeping was a little bit annoying as they came at 9am as we were coming back from breakfast, so we had to disturb them. The breakfast was amazing, really good quality and as much as you want (but not buffet style) In fact the only bad point about the restaurant was they often used the wrong crockery, like an express cup for the milk (to put in tea) so it made a mess. The only really negative point is the distance to central ubud, it takes a good 15 minutes to walk.

This is the place to stay if you plan on being in bali! They were on time for pick up and drop offs to and from the airport. The place is very close to the center of Bali and you can get transportation to various places easily. Ubud has a lot to offer. Most tours are usually an hour drive from here. The Bisma is very modern and new! Although there was some construction around it was very peaceful ! The location is just 2 minutes walking from Monkey Forest and central Market in Ubud. So no need to get a taxi and be stuck in traffic! They offer a variety of delicious meals for breakfast lunch and dinner with a beautiful view. We ordered almost all the dishes for breakfast and some dinner dishes. The smoothies for breakfast are delicious. 3-4 courses for breakfast at least. If you like to drink I recommend the pina colada! You won’t find a better colada anywhere else in the island. Each room has a private pool and rooms are very clean. I love their lemon grass scented body wash! I would defiantly stay again!

It was very neat that everyone had their own villas! They were spacious and quiet. The location was also impeccable... you are super close to everything (walking distance). There are lots of stairs at this resort, but it’s also built on the side of a mountain, it was understandable. The staff helped us with our bags and it was never a problem. The restaurant had a beautiful setting - the menu selection was small but delicious - but there are lots of places to eat around the hotel - so we always went exploring. the street to get to the hotel is tiny and was under construction... but really great things are coming ... so small inconvenience, but totally worth it.

Lovely property

Beautiful property. Stayed in a pool villa with rice paddy view. Would give 5 stars but the floors are dangerously slippery and the pillows too hard for our liking. Otherwise perfect.

Best hotel ever! The staff were friendly and accomodating. Food was very good too. Rooms were very clean at all times. The hotel has a traditional look with modern facilities. Ubud is a great city too. Overall 10/10.

Great hotel with comfortable spacious rooms, nice private pools, and a lovely view from the main swimming pool. Good food at the restaurant with a good range of local and international options. Location does mean a solid 10-15 minute walk into the centre of town.
