Nice place nice people
My deposit did not come back. It is been 8 days now
Only stayed for a night but it was easy to Check in and the room was comfortable
10 minute walk from the shows we had planned. Staff was friendly and facility was clean
There was a built in water filtration on each floor so that helped with staying hydrated! The restaurant was delicious and convenient! Overall 10/10 experience! Staff was lovely and so helpful!!
Rooms were good and clean, no issues. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great walkable location
Amazing
No good
The place was okay . The elevators were too small for that many people staying and they only have two. The staff were using one which it was a pain to just go to the room.
Great staff! Walls are made of paper.
Bad elevator service for Saturday night
Great across the board
The staff was great, the location was perfect for being around time square and broadway and the room was clean and very nice, best sleep I’ve had in a while!
We had an excellent stay. It looks a little worn once you get up onto the actual floors but it was very clean and the staff was great.
Excellent
Checking in was terrible! Room to be available at 3 PM... was not - told 4:00. Still not ready. Went up several times. I told them on special request traveling with someone with that has terminal cancer. Did not get into room until after 5 PM. When you have someone with terminal cancer and they check in before 11:00 - & were fine waiting until 3 PM - my nephew needed to get in the bed & rest - to enjoy most likely his last Christmas in NYC with his family. This is uncalled for. Matter of fact, I will not use hotel.com again. Possibly if would of book directly through hotel - we would of had better service. Four people as well & they only give one key. Give me a break. I purchased this as a gift for them. Disappointed. Shower had only lukewarm water. The rm. was fine for NYC. Disturbing to not be able to check in at the time posted. This was a total turn-off - especially, when your trying to make a very ill man & his family a nice gift. Not acceptable. Terminal Cancer putting forth the effort to have one last Christmas of memories & can't even get into room on time. Shame, shame
Communication poor, Expedia communication to the hotel terrible, we paid for breakfast and we never got it included. Just an overall bad experience. I will never book through Expedia and I wouldn’t come to this hotel
Very good staff
Excellent Service
Ajilee, at front desk was so helpful making my stay a great time!
While I wasn’t able to check in earlier than check in time as I had hoped, the staff was incredibly nice and when I shared it was my birthday, I was given food coupons to use at the cafe or restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. The door to the bathroom was a sliding door which isn’t as private as a regular door, but was ok for me with the kids. There were two minor issues with the bathroom that may have been specific to our room and didn’t warrant a complaint—the toilet water kept running even with an additional flush, and the water pressure was intense in the sink. We figured this out and could adjust. Overall satisfied with this stay as the location was perfect for us to explore Times Square. And the attitude of the staff was positive, warm and welcoming.
Overpriced for the condition of the property. The rooms were ok, but the corridor and amenities need some serious updating, mostly considering the cost per night.
The location is excellent; it is 10 minutes' walk from Times Square, and the rooms are nice. I am not considering recommending it to friends because there are three tiny elevators for a 30-plus-story building. Cherry on the pie, our room was nicely decorated, but the bathroom's sliding didn't close the door, which was less than 30 inches from the bed. There were huge gaps surrounding the bathroom's sliding door, leaving little space, if none, for privacy, let alone letting all the bathroom's smells get out to the main room
The beds are comfortable, the location is convenient, and the customer service is excellent.
Good at all
Very close to Times Square and Hells Kitchen. Room was comfortable for three adults and our luggage.
Look forward for next stay at delta ny
It was good , could have been even better
Good location, small rooms and older hotel. Most hotels did not have double beds the weekend we travelled. It's a no frills hotel, but it did the trick for our short stay in NYC.
Location of the hotel is great but the hotel needs major updates.
Overall the property was quite satisfactory, clean and quiet, with all necessary amenities. However, the shower design was quite odd. As there was no separation between the shower and the bathroom floor as a result, the shower water just flooded all over the floor and I had to mop it up with bath towels. It was not a question of my turning the water on too hard, because water volume is regulated by the faucet. It's just a weird design that I guess is meant to be a fashion statement but it's actually quite hazardous for people who could fall in the pools of water.
Great staff
Staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean.
Great location and service.
Home away from home
The staff was amazing and very attentive to needs. The hotel was in the perfect location. Times Square was a block away, train station right out front, and there was no bar which really made it kid friendly. The food was amazing and decently priced and the size was bigger then most NY hotels I stayed at before.
Friendly staff
Great spot
Great location and nice room. Check-in was slow and confusing but front desk staff were friendly and pleasant.
Nothing bad to say
The same was surprisingly Spaces the staff members were too kind
From California with Love.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Delta Hotels by Marriott New York Times Square, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! One of the standout features of my stay was the exceptional quality of the staff and management team. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere. The front desk staff were not only professional but also genuinely welcoming. They took the time to ensure my check-in process was smooth and provided insightful recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options. What truly impressed me was the management team's commitment to guest satisfaction. During my stay they make me feel valued and cared for. This level of attentiveness is a rarity and speaks volumes about their dedication to providing an outstanding guest experience. Throughout my stay, every staff member I encountered—from the housekeeping team to the restaurant staff—exhibited a remarkable level of professionalism and friendliness. They were always willing to go the extra mile, making my experience even more enjoyable. The Delta Hotels by Marriott New York Times Square is not just a place to stay; it’s a home away from home, thanks to its incredible team. I left feeling refreshed and grateful for the wonderful hospitality I received. If you're looking for a hotel in the heart of Times Square with a staff that truly cares, look no further!
It was clean and updated. Bed was comfy. Location was good.
The location of this hotel is great. The staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were surprisingly spacious for a New York room. The reason I won’t be staying at this property again is because the bathroom shower was doorless and the water from the shower filled the bathroom floor because the slant of the floor to the drain wasn’t steep enough. We ended up having to save our used towels to make water barriers so that the shower water wouldn’t cover the entire bathroom floor. If a doorless shower doesn’t bother you, then this place would be a great place for you to stay!
Great staff ,very clean and organized
NY college trip
Walking distance to Time Square ,Rockefeller Center, theater district. TINY shower /restroom. Decent for one night. Parking $35/24 hrs garage 3 blocks away.
Bathroom door doesn’t shut all the way and water gets everywhere in the shower.
NYC is always noisy, and not the cleanest.
Clean and property run
The bedroom had a good size and in general it looked good, my only problem was the shower, it didn't have a door and the water was all over the floor. Overall, it was a good place.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Delta Times Square and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed throughout our stay. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and offered all the modern amenities I could ask for, including fast Wi-Fi and a comfortable bed. The location of the hotel was also perfect—within walking distance to major attractions and easy access to public transportation. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the attention to detail and the impeccable service. From the concierge’s helpful recommendations to the housekeeping staff’s efficiency, every aspect was handled with care and professionalism. I would highly recommend Delta by Marriott’s at Times Square to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious stay. I can’t wait to return. 😊
Okay
Perfect place for my friends and I to stay for our visit! Very centrally located for all the sights we wanted to see. All the staff we encountered was great and extremely helpful:)
Staff top notch and it's a great facility.
I know it’s New York and it’s not the hotel fault for the trashy street… Hotel had a very musty odor and atmosphere. Showers were outdated. The smell ruined the stay for me only stayed 1 night!
Cheaper parking options than most of the other hotels in Times Square. Manager at Delta was nice enough to make special accommodations for us because there was no microwave in the room. Staff is awesome! Maintenance man that helped us fix something in our room was great as well.
Not a great stay. I was given a room key at check in. Went up to that room and there were people already in it. They had double booked the room. Being able to walk into someone else’s room in New York City was scary. We had to double lock our door just to make sure they wouldn’t allow anyone to enter our room like they had me do to others. Wouldn’t stay here again.
It was walking distance to transportation and atracciones places.
Liked the fact it was off the beaten track. Area more quiet than expected. Decent hotel and will stay here again in the future. The walk in shower’s design did not allow for the shower water to flow directly down the drain. The water pooled in one area and flowed out of the shower. Had to put multiple towels down to catch the water. Overall glad we selected this hotel, and will stay here again.
Nice Hotel
The desk staff was friendly and accommodating; breakfast in dining room was lovely. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the cold lighting, cool colors, and minimalist decor felt more like a hospital room. The doors do not close quietly, and it seemed like the cleaning staff and visitors were slamming doors every 5 minutes. Nice hotel, great location, but the constant loud slamming of the doors was enough to make me choose to stay elsewhere next time.
Nicole was welcoming, helpful and just lovely at check-in despite a very busy afternoon. Hotel room was clean and comfortable; perfectly suitable for our little family of 5 (one kiddo slept on the small sofa). Sure, the elevators were often slow to arrive (or full) and the block was a bit dirty, but the location otherwise was great for access to the subway and major sites. Overall very reasonable for NYC, especially for the price.
My only complaint was the bathroom needed updating. The shower was an open plan into the rest of the bathroom- no raised platform.
No
When you pay couple hundred for a room ans service was not good! Not even a water. The water quality was horrible, brown water came from the faucet. I could not even wash my face. Floor was not in a good shape! You see the buses running all night from the window. NO VIEW FROM TGE ROOMS!
Hotel very nice and very close to Time square couple minutes walking and next to the shopping grocery store and liquor store also restaurants. The staffs were not nice the lady on desk very aggressive and not co-operate with us. They were changed our room and down gread the room, room was designed for disabled people. Other than that perfect hotel close to public transportation.
Very nice hotel! Would recommend, very close to time square, which is a little bit noisy at night but part of the experiences!
Love my stay
Weekend in NYC
Front desk staff was very polite upon check in and greated us each morning. Elevator was a bit slow at times. Good coffee at lobby bar. Clean room. One block away from Times Square. Will book again.
Backpack was stolen from the room itself
Deberían incluir desayuno
overall good nothing to complain . everything nearby
Nearby times square, close to shopping, transportation. The surrounding area was dirty. It took us hour and half to check. Staff was accomodating and helpful gave us upgraded room on top floor and 10 dollars gift card to use at their resturant or bar due to have delayed check in.
Bathrooms are very small and bed rooms too. Super friendly staff!
Very good
Spontaneous NYC trip
We stayed for one night. Very comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and good customer service except we booked a room with a king bed and got two doubles instead. The bathroom door kept coming off the track so it was hard to open and close. Also the door would fall off at times. The shower didn’t have a door or curtain so when my partner took a shower water went all over the floor. Can only get ice downstairs by the front desk - no machines on floors. The hotel felt secure because you needed a key card to move on the elevator and the staff were at the desk overnight. Great value for the money overall!
The front desk hospitality was subpar unpleasant and a bit combative
We will definitely stay here the next time we are in the city.
Very nice
This was the worst four star hotel experience I’ve ever had. This is a two-star hotel masquerading as a four-star hotel. In fact, I have stayed at a number of two-star hotels that were better than this. We paid over $300 / night for this hotel, and it was a terrible waste of money. The bedroom floor had many damaged tiles on it that were a tripping hazard. The elevators made you wait at least 15 minutes every time we called for one. The bathroom shower had no shower door, so any time anybody took a shower, the entire floor of the bathroom would get wet. I had to call the reception over five times in the first 24 hours and ask for extra towels to soak up the water on the floor, and they just kept ignoring my request. I asked them for daily housekeeping, which they did not do, until the third day of our stay there. The customer service was terrible. Every person I spoke to at the reception had a different answer to my questions - nobody seemed to know what the hotel’s policies were. One woman even told me she had no idea the shower didn’t have a door, so the people working there don’t seem to know what the rooms are like. When I finally got through to a manager, she just said there was nothing she could do about it.
Excelente Hotel, buena ubicación, limpieza, comodidad para dormir, buen trato y seguro.
.
Nice hotel, terrible staff
The hotel was quite nice, but unfortunately, the staff had overbooked and when our AC wasn’t working in our room, we could not get moved or upgraded. It was 78° with absolutely no air, and we slept terribly. The staff didn’t seem to care at all about our problem. Very disappointing
Great hotel!
Staff were great! Front desk were very friendly and helpful. Other staff we interacted with were always polite and gave a friendly greeting. Room was modern, spacious and very clean. Everything was well maintained and new. Loved how there was lots of storage and that there was a garment steamer instead of an iron. Lack of shower door made it difficult to keep the rest of the bathroom water free! Made the whole floor wet for the next person. Very close to Times Square and within walking distance to lots of great attractions.
Loved it nice and clean place
Very nice staff
The staff. Staff is horrible. Very rude and inconsiderate especially when asking for simple tasks. There was two staff members during our entire stay of two weeks that were helpful. Asking for help for a ride back tot he airport be careful. No confirmation email just a handwritten note stating it’s confirmed. I’ve stayed in NY many times and have tried many hotels DO NOT STAY AT THE DELTA MARRIOT. Staff up front is horrible. They lack complete communication skills and room service and the cleaning of the room smh it doesn’t exist. Please don’t waste your time or energy for this hotel.
For the price its location and quality was spot on
Great stay
the property was very clean. the bathroom could use a real door.
Great place
Awesome staff
The design of the room.
The site is in a very convenient location from where it is really easy to branch out and reach any NYC location you wish to visit. The place is reasonably quiet and clean. The staff are kind and helpful.
Nice place
Bathroom was always a mess up at the time to take a shower because get wet all over and the day check in bathroom need more cleaning. I booked a double room and bed were pretty small like twin bed if you shared the bed was uncomfortable. The location it’s was close to everything and the service was good
walkabale to time square
Pay for parking every time get out and in.
Dining options weren’t good Although Marco the host at Good nephew was very kind and professional. Food at the Restaurant at the end of the night was disappointing Grilled cheese sandwich wasn’t grilled and the other food orders wasn’t good either. Check in was good We did valet parking and called for the car at 656. At 845 I had to ask as they said it would take 45 minutes to 1 hour to retrieve the car. called after 2 hours and the front desk said they will call . So that was disappointing as im not sure what was missed there. Thank you!
I loved the hotel, very convenient location and parking available at a great rate!,everything went perfect for our stay
Impossible to find a park spot. No microwave in the room. The room was very small. Very expensive.
Great stay!
Great location, staff awesome, bed most comfortable ever slept in.
People were nice, rooms were good, nice location.
Nicely surprised and enjoyed my stay.
Clean, updated rooms. Friendly staff. Made for a wonderful stay in NYC.
