Budget hostel with everything

Nice budget hostel close to public transport and stores

Staff are super friendly and the communal areas are great! The dorm rooms are really poor quality and the beds are extremely creaky - so we were being woken every time someone turned around or arrived during the night!

The room was really nice, I had a great night. The Wi-Fi is not so good but other than that I have nothing to complain about the Hostel.

Good hostel

It was almost perfect. Very nice helpful staff. Good kitchen, lounge, and toilet. Clean and neat hostel. I came back from a date night and found someone sleeping on my assigned bed. Staff moved me to a different room and bed. So it was okay. 20 min walk from the bus center but closer to Old Town

I was specifically looking for the cheapest option for a room where I would have privacy, and on this particular day, that option was with Tatamka Hostel. My expectations were low, and I was very surprised with the quality in every category. Friendly staff, very nice room, (with 2 beds even though I only needed one) and a stress-free experience. I’ve already recommended it to a business associate, and would be happy to continue doing so.

amazing- but noisy

The hotel is on a very noisy street and could do with some newer towels as well as dooners and sheets that fit the bed. The staff were friendly and the service was good though.

Good place to rest very well

The overall experience is fine. It has a clean atmosphere at the time i came. Not a party hostel but enough space to meet people. The gardent is nice but kinda neglected, needs more "spotlight". Minus: the inside room lockers are weak and people complained breakage, afford more massive then. Facilities are decent: kitchen, free laudry and drying (powder at your expense).

Spotlessly clean,basic ensuite room. A little noisy and I was glad to be on the top floor! but very good value, and friendly staff

Good price nice location

I have stayed for five nights. It was all very good. Nice location. Hale hour walking distance to the city central and to the national stadion. Very worth the price. Staffs are friendly and helpful. She helped for booking taxi and any information you want. I had great stay.

Nice hostel

Nice place near the river and right by the Chopin museum. Complimentary towels and laundry was an added plus. They do have some construction going on across the street, luckily on the weekends they start working a little later. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Fun patio in the back and common areas are spacious for lounging and meeting new people.

If you are looking for a good HOSTEL, this is one!

It is a hostel and a good one. Simple place with nice cheap breakfast in great location! Near the river and plenty of stores if you need anything. Everyone was friendly and anything you need at any time just ask them! I had a private room. The bed was good, clean bathroom.

Good Value

The first impression of the hostel is not nice but as soon as you enter is completely different story. The staff wasn't very polite, although they spoke English. Breakfast was good. Quite noisy in the evenings and also we had trouble with people coming into our room at 12:00 o'clock at night as there is no safety with the keys. The hostel is close to the centre which is a good thing. The Wi-Fi signal in our room wasn't the greatest.

OK place

Its main selling point is its location. While on a back road it is only 10 mins away from the main tourist area of warsaw. I had a single room which was quite minimalistic but OK. Reception staff were friendly and helpful but I check out is 11 and I was kicked out of the room by the cleaning staff at 11.04 which I was shocked at most places give you a little flexibility. That said I would stay in it again

tamka hotel is more of a hostel and during our stay a large group of young students were present. however this was not a problem. it is a low cost value accomodation for warsaw with good transport links to central warsaw and beyond.

Stay Away

Firstly very disappionted to turn up to hostel Tamka, not Hotel Tamka as advertise. From the outside looks aweful, but work is being done. The HOSTEL was full of young students, making noise late into the night. Our room was one undecorated small box, while the students seemed to have the nicer room. The room had no paint on the walls, just finished in plaster, and wires hanging out of the wall. The receptionist forgot to mention to us that the room was a mess. And just to top it off, we were unable to pay by credit card. Not impressed.

Tamka - Looks can be deceiving!

Outside, this looks like a place you would stay away from. Inside, however, this is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and lots of free amenities (linens, towels, breakfast) made Tamka a winner in my book. Currently doing renovations, but don't let that deter you, great hostel at an even better price. In addition, this hostel is a short walk from the Old Town and the University, great sightseeing!

the bed wasnt too comfortable and there was a bit of noise but the rest was great i have never stayed in a hostel before but ever one told me most places dont have all the things this place has and the breakfast was ample the staff couldnt have been more helpfull and like all the polish i meet couldnt have been nicer short walk to bus and the centre of town

A Reasonable Place to Spend the Night

Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English; the breakfast was awesome (nice and hearty -- a welcome change from white bread and jam I'd been getting in Italian hostels); the location is good (close to old city and within a block or so of the Chopin museum) and easy to get to by bus from the airport. Renovations were under way that made the place a bit less comfortable than it might have been, but I assume that's temporary. I'm not sure I would choose the boy-girl mixed dorm again...boys are kind of smelly...And we had to choose between having the window open (very loud street noise) and having it shut (hot, stuffy and even more smelly). Other than that, it was a good place to be.

Not a good Hostel or Hotel????

I asked in advanced how to get to this hotel from Main train station, and the information was incorrect so I have to take a taxi the charged me 10 euros. . When I got there it was a Hostel and not an Hotel, how it said at the expedia web site. The only positive was that a girl who talked me in spanish which surprised because it was the first time I heard someone speaking my language. She send me to the 3rd floor with no lift and my belongings were too heavy. Some rooms were under construction, still my room was The room had no curtains, the internet service was weak, the cleaning conditions were bad, the ceiling was broken. I asked to have dinner in the surroundings and there were no restaurants available. They send me at 10.30 pm to main station again with some slotis coins because I couldn`t change money. Finally I didn`t go because it was too dangerous. I slept very badly, I was hungry and really I didn`t feel well. In the morning I had very poor breakfast with no sufficient facilities. I explained all this to the recepcionist next morning and she didnn`t care, only she showed indifference.?! So for me unfortunately was a bad experience.

The mattresses could be better and it was a little bit noisy from the hall outside the room. Otherwise everything was good.

Generaliy, it was good.But there is no air condition, then a little hot so a little bit unconfortable.

Good location, clean and well-run, traffic noise

Excellent central location near museums (Chopin, Copernicus), the river, and the metro. Facility was very clean and well-maintained; room was hotel quality, and staff were helpful. The main disadvantage was significant traffic noise from Tamka Street, including motorcycles late at night. 3rd floor walk-up with luggage could be a challenge for some guests.

Normalerweise war ich in diesem Hostel gerne Gast, aber ob ich noch einmal dort übernachte, weiß ich nicht. Ich habe den Aufenthalt überhaupt nicht genossen. Dafür muss ich nicht verreisen.

Very good experience!

I really liked this hostel, i stayed 2 weeks. Dorms are ok (but bed are very very noisy) and in the 8-bed dorm the sunlight wont disturb you. The living room was perfect to me as i work remotely with many tables and sofa. High level breakfast for a hostel! I truly recommend this in Warsaw!

ショパン博物館までは徒歩数分ですが、旧市街や新世界通り、SKMの最寄駅までは徒歩で10分以上かかります。またシングルのお部屋は4階でしたがエレベーターも無し、部屋にはテレビもありません。フロントが24時間対応、共用の洗濯機や乾燥機は無料で使える(慢性的に混み合っていますし、私が使った時には不調でしたが)、宿の真向かいがミニスーパーなど良い点もありますが、地方都市なら四つ星ホテルに二泊出来る価格とデメリットの部分を考えると微妙なところでしょう。ワルシャワには手頃な中級ホテルが見つかりづらいので候補にあげられるかもしれませんが、内容をよく吟味して、ご自分のニーズに合っているかよく検討してから決められた方がいいでしょう。

Sympatyczna obsługa

Niedogodność całkowicie niezależna od obsługi hotelowej - sen utrudniają nocne popisy motocyklowo-samochodowych dawców organów (jak zwykle w centrum Warszawy). Wpadka personelu z "okłaczonym" prześcieradłem została usunięta przez dostarczenie czystego, ale już bez jego założenia na górny materac piętrowego łóżka.

Not for sleeping well

Very noisy street. Snoring roommates. The reception was out of earplugs. Could not sleep at all.

Best to stay in Warsaw

清潔感以外は良かったです

決して悪くはないのですが、部屋のシャワーを使った後、なぜかシャワーブースの外がびしょびしょになります。 あと、Wi-Fiが弱かったのですが、それをスタッフの方に伝えたらスタッフさん用のWi-Fiを教えて頂き、そちらは問題ありませんでした。 あと、都心部から少し離れるので周辺の設備が良いとは言えなかったです。

A very big room with a private bathroom and really huge closets for a luggage. Silent with the windows facing the backyard. A big kitchen with a dinning room. A towel included. They take 20 PLN deposit for the key. Biedronka supermarket just 5 minuts away, Żabka in front of the hostel. 30 minutes from Pałac Kultury, 10 minutes from Wisła.

Auberge agréable, situation géographique pratique. peut-être un peu bruyant
