Staff members and overall property was great but the noise from the party on lower level was too much when local starts to arrange party on week days instead of weakened.

Disappointing Stay - Falls Short of Expectations We were very disappointed with our stay at Tanoa Waterfront Lautoka. While advertised as a 4-star hotel, it felt more like a 2-star experience. Basic Amenities: Only one bed sheet was provided, which is unusual even in many 3-star hotels. Poor Hygiene: The bathroom had visible mold in the shower and around the soap dispenser, which was concerning. Lack of Utensils: The room was not adequately equipped with basic utensils. Soap Dispenser Issues: The soap dispenser in the shower was either not working or empty, forcing us to frequently exit the shower to use the dispenser in the vanity. This lack of attention to detail by the cleaning staff was disappointing. Suspicious Taxi Arrangements: We suspect collusion between taxi drivers and front desk staff. The hotel quoted us $25 for a short 10-minute taxi ride to the local hospital. We hailed a taxi outside the hotel and only paid $5. This felt like an attempt to overcharge tourists. Overall: This accommodation is more akin to a 2-star motel than a 4-star hotel. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and the apparent attempt to overcharge us for transportation.

very friendly staff going beyond what you would expect

Have been using this hotel/property for the past 8 years, sometimes 3 times within a year. Have seen the property deteriorating with less and less maintenance. Service is top notch with friendly staff. Property definitely needs attention

Was a great place to stay for our first night in Fiji.

Staff were awesome

The place is good, i mainly go there because of location it’s close to everything. The drinks at the bar are overpriced except beer. the bartenders charge extra to make money for themselves.

Not a good experience overall. My clothes from the laundry area got stolen. My souvenir that I bought for my family also got stolen from our room this is terrible and not safe

The fact that it's located not even 5mins walk from the main shopping was great.

Good dining room, choice of food, helpful staff. Position away from main tourist areas.

No bacon, food was cold, had to make your own coffee, why not flatewhite coffee!!! no coffee machine, also head overseas visitors complaining to staff about something.

Joe at reception was great, friendly and helpful but another member of staff named Cara was so very rude and should not be in hospitality. I stay here regularly and it is usable very good.

I liked the friendly staff Everything was great except for my information was disclosed to some stranger like he took out information which room am staying in how I made the payments through and he was allowed to call me through the room extension like I was upset how could they disclose information without asking me.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the meals were good. Lots of choice on the free breakfast but unfortunately they were cold every morning

Great place to stay if you just want to relax and do nothing. Food is delicious, staff are divine, rooms are beautiful and walking distance to shops if you want time away from the motel. Would definitely stay again.

Best hotel in Lautoka city

Stayed for a few nights and we were very impressed with the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and well air-conditioned. Great walking distance to Lautoka city centre to get food, shopping, buses and taxis. The hotel grounds were very well kept with a great swimming pool that was comfortable temperature. We would definitely consider staying at other Tanoa hotels in the future.

Reception was good.and welcoming.Room size was good.Got locked out as entry card failed next day.No lifts so disadvantage to disabled and vulnerables.

All staff very friendly. Very strict about checking time. They should replace water daily.

The hotel had a nice pool and the room was clean and had good facilities. The restaurant was a limited menu and the breakfast didnt have many options.

Very nice and quite place.

The room was dirty with stained sheets and hair everywhere. The floor had soap left and AC was not working. The staff did not care and was rude. Never staying here and told family and friends about condition as well.

Safe and quiet

Amazing staff and amazing customer service. I stayed there for 12 days and had a blast.

Had issues with the original room had to look for a manager to switch bathroom was moldy air-conditioning was leaking water inside the room sheets were dirty had blood stains. The only individual they seem to care was the manager that helped us and few staff that we met at night that help us change the room.

You get what you pay for at these properties

The very friendly staff, cleanness of the property. Last in 2019 when i visited the room and bedding wasn't done daily but now it's done daily and is tidy very nice. the very best i like was breakfast served very nicely and I am vegetarian and was well looked after every day we had vegetarian meal with nice tropical fruits and freshly squeezed juices all good

No porter to help us taking the bags to the room and no one show us the way to our room. Car park area is very smelly coming out from the drain chamber.

The Executive Rooms are 2nd to none, wonderful staff always smiling and alway did their best to make your stay wonderful which they did for us. Breakfast was very good , restaurant was lovely and service very good. Room service food great had to wait a little but understandable as being flat out. Chicken fried rice impeccable!!!!!! Room 302 is like the palace , fantastic room , housekeeping congratulations very high standard. Cateringcteam do an amazing job and especially when put under tge pump you may have a little wait but they never send you a faulty meal all food was excellent. My 13 year old is adicted to tge Brownie served with icecream. Ive stayed previous and always a great stay with excellent staff. We also had massage and my daughter had her eye lashes tinted. Very good prices and the serve from both ladies 5 star , the massuse is 5 star plus her massage is heaven you have to give her a go. I have been booking with Tanoa for two years now and I see the breakfast is saying almost every day you need to change the menu asap.I felt gross eating hash brown n sausages with porridge,and eggs .everyday.And at both the location. Staff are wonderful and great

Disappointed. When i went for check in a male employee told me to wait 10 mins in the lobby and room will be ready in . I waited 1/2 an hr. And than i asked the girl . And she called room service and no one answered. Than she asked another female employee. Than i was told to wait another 15 mins. I was very tired. And thats not acceptable. I always travel and stay in this hotel. This is the first time i got this kind of service. Not happy.

Welcoming and friendly reception

A restful night's stay with a cheerful welcome at the reception.

The staff was great and very helpful. The only issue was the water leak in the bathroom was a bit annoying but overall it was a great stay.

Neighbor hood is not for walking, the facility is in poor condition, the restaurant has poor service and unacceptable food, and the service is mediocre

Will not return

Not great, asked 3 times for extra towel (as had 2 towels for 3 people) and a hand towel took 2 days to get towel and never got hand towel. Had no hot water for 2 days and finally left early after having a rat in 2 of our 3 rooms.

Place to stay in Lautoka.

Excellent service. Timely response to requests. Friendly staff who are willing to go the extra mile to meet the needs of the guests.

We always stay at Tanoa and this time it felt a bit different with new team members who maybe were too new to know how visitors are looked after, as all services were slow - otherwise we love the venue. Their pineapple pizza was to die for. It was yumm.

The hotel is clean and tidy with a great pool The town it’s in is not the most beautiful but the weather is warm or hot the people are kind and embracing

The tv was not working for the past few days as confirmed by reception. Called reception to enquire only to be told that I.T was working on it. The issue remained until I had checked out. However the staff was great.

Wow really amazing staying in this Hotel .

Liquor was missing on 12 December 2023 after the cleaning was called in around 5:30 pm onwards in Room 412 as the cleaning wasn’t done in the morning! Reported to the Reception on our final day; took all the information and said they going to review the camera so after a while they came back and asked to report to the Police - we didn’t have enough time to report to Police; bit scary, after that I had to lock all our stuff

Room is small but was okay for a one night stay.

I loved my stay. it was quiet and peaceful. Staffs were very friendly. I do like to suggest that I think hotel should provide laundry service rather than guests washing their own clothes and also may be think of adding more food varieties to breakfast.
