The bed was very uncomfortable

There was something very uncomfortable with my bed. The surface was hard in some way, had a really hard time falling asleep.

Thw hotel ia situated in the heart of some pubs,clubs,restaurants. Staff met us at the door and explained evwrything about the hotel and area. There was a little noise heard in the room but to be expected due to location

Perfect location

I checked in before my arrival with link sent by the hotel to my WhatsApp, staff greeted me and showed me my room, was friendly and kind, I strongly recommend Tania Hotel.

Great staff. Cristian was very helpful. Just be aware you have to walk to the hotel from the main road. We had lots of bags to drag in the rain. Our bad luck. But help was at the door and help up the stairs. No elevator. Everything is around this hotel. Bars, food, music, musems and a Starbucks.

Very friendly manager was always available to help and offer suggestions. The hotel is in a busy night life area and if you sleep lightly, they offer earplugs! Great location and accommodation for the price.

Nice Hotel & great manager/owner who will communicate with you always to make sure that everything is ok & will recommend near by resturants or places to visit

Good News and Bad News: Old Town Hotel

The Good News is TF is in the middle of The Old Town Party. One can easily stumble back to a safe cozy room after an evening of debauchery or enjoying local restaurants. The Bad News is TF is in the middle of The Old Town Party. This is LOUD on Friday and Saturday nights and even into the morning. If you're into the all night party scene this may be good news, but I have my limits. The small Lebanese restaurant next door was still BLASTING out Euro-Electro-Disco at 0700 Saturday. The hotel provided earplugs for a good reason! They work fairly well. Also provided in a nice-sized Euro-shower, a tea kettle, and bottled water (you are warned not to drink from the tap). Internet is excellent. I was kindly greeted when arriving and felt very secure the entire visit.

Everything is as described

They were great helping me check in early. I had a long bus ride and they worked to get me my room. They were very helpful. The hotel is in the heart of old town. It gets lively on weekends but they had nice sound proofing that kept the light and noise out when i wanted it out. Its kind of in the middle of everything. Tons of restaurants nearby and lots of friendly people. I even booked a couple extra nights. The room was great. I slept well. They had a coffee machine and my room was cleaned everyday i wanted it cleaned. I would stay here again.

Hands down one of the best hotels right in the action of old town Bucharest. Easy to get in and the management and house keeping is outstanding. Christian is a great manager with plenty of recommendations for food and entertainment!!! Will stay again in the future. 10 Stars 🌟. Phillip

The staff was very communicative and super helpful! The room was clean and they had special doors to go over the windows to help with the noise and I slept like a baby.

The location is really perfect, you have everything from restaurants, bars, clubs even comedy or shopping stores clubs around you! The area is definately the party area of bucharest, so theres much going on, however, the Hotel has impressively good windows work very good to reduce the noise The Hotel itself is clean and nice, wifi works well and I also liked the online self-check-in All in all great value for the price

The Hotel is perfectly located right in the centre of the city, I was able to reach pretty much all sightseeing locations by feet Also the Oldtown is very lively with lots of bars and clubs, so its a great spot for everyone who plans to go The Hotel itself is very clean, nicely designed, and the check-in and code-access system works well, all in all a great experience and will come back for sure!

For the price it was very central hotel had a room at the front of the hotel over the pedestrian street was a bit worried about the noise but I had no problem sleeping. A nice hotel I would stay again.

PERFECT LOCATION

This was my third time staying here Once on a football trip and twice on Stag do's. The location is PERFECT for a crowd of boys drinking. In the heart of the lively Old City. Rooms are only queen beds not two singles which would be the only downside

It was very loud, and there was not even shampoo.

Very very noisey. If you like to party and be right in the middle of the action this hotel would be for you. There are no elevators stairs only.

The are is a bit noisy however the hotel is very clean and staff very friendly.

It would be ok if the air conditioner worked and the window curtain were a little bigger enough to prevent sunshine getting in the room during a hot humid day

Great location if wishing to be in old town

It was a decent hotel, clean and safe. The rooms were standard size, the bed was comfortable, the pillows were much too large to comfortably support a small person's neck. Our shower did not drain properly, so we had to turn the shower off between lathering. This was a minor inconvenience - certainly nothing major/drain problems happen in hotels. The area is right in the middle of old town - some people might view this as excellent for instant sightseeing (as we did). While others might find it a bit noisy - the hotel has addressed this issue by adding noise reduction partitions to their windows - great idea and most helpful. Breakfast was large and plentiful - fantastic fresh made omelettes with your choice of filling (but the coffee was awful - so we enjoyed a coffee in one of the nearby terraces).

Hotel description about noise insulation is lye !!

The Hotel is in the centre of the Old Town but claimed to have noise insulation on the windows. I stayed in a junior suite and the insulation was on the living room window but not on the patio doors that go into the bedroom so you hear the music to about 4am. However the worst noise is still to come as opposite the Hotel there is some open space used as a street food market. When the street market closes they put 3 dogs into the compound and they bark all night .............. oh and the hotel didn't know the combination to my room safe and had lost the keys so it could not be opened. I won't be staying here on my next visit.

Great hotel,but right in the middle of the old town,so expect noise.

Ideal for party people

I spent 3 nights there and it's a bed-and-breakfast located in the heart of the night life area. If you are into the vibrant Bucharest night life, you will surely like the location. I spent my first night partying outside but not on the second night after a long-day sightseeing. The music was so loud that I could hardly sleep even with the window tightly shut. It's weekend, so don't expect the music would stop before 6am. Again, if you are into night life, you will love the surroundings. The room is well-furnished with a comfortable bed and enough electric sockets and even a kettle. There's no elevator, be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs. Walkable distance to the airport shuttle station as well as some other tourist attractions. You can always find something to eat nearby and be accompanied by crowds of party people with energetic music.

central location for tourists

Great Location in the middle of all the Cafes, Bars and nightlife.. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was aliitle bit on the hard side and could use an upgraded mattress otherwise the room was great for A/c and convenience. There are no lifts to higher floors.also the hotel is located in a pedestrian zone that requires you walk aprox 500 mtrs or 1/3 mile with your bags and a bit of a chore to find but worth it for the location... one last note if you plan to bring a guest they will require ID

Right in the old town

I can recommend this hotel especially if you want to party in old town area because from your room you can hear the music until 4 am ... The room was nice and clean. Breakfast good. Quick check in and check out.

Bucharest

Arrived late and taxi not allowed to go direct to door so a walk of around 400 metres with luggage. Hotel is in a noisy area but extra noise screens on window does work. Staff all friendly and helpfull

The reservation I received from Hotel.com was not recorded at the hotel, It means that hotel.com never forward the reservation to Tania Frankfurt or Tania Frankfurt never received it . At the end, I was given a room that was not ready yet. The hotel was fine and I even got a discount. Hotel.com failed!

Verry nice stay will do it again in the same hotel

It was good,the place of the Hotel is verry good.The working staff are well trained always smiling and verry helpfull.The room is a little bit smal.

Can't get more central than this hotel

I was there for work and thought this would get me some cultural experience on the side. The hotel was comfortable and as described in their advert. Service is good as the staff genuinely try to provide things that may be lacking initially. You must however be aware that at night it's noisy; not just run of the mill noise, it's really loud. This is due to live music played by a neighboring venue from Wednesday to Sunday so you get two quite days at night per week. The music carries on till at least 4 am and double glazing can only stop so much. So not advisable if you have to wake up early for work or are a light sleeper. However if not working, to compensate the old town it's self opens after 10 am.

If you have a family you may not like this hotel. That's only because of its location. The hotel is located right in the middle of "Old City" where all the pubs are. If you're single and like to party, this is the place for you. You don't have to pay for taxis or anything, you are with walking distances of everything. Also if you want to venture off the subway isn't that far away either. I will stay at this hotel every time I go to Bucharest.

Good hotel for the money. Location: Historical center and close to everything. Located on streets full of bars, nightclubs and restaurants. It's quiet inside of the room/hotel thanks to thick windows that block the noise. Good hotel if you like to hangout. Not so good if you look for quiet location Breakfast: This one is interesting. It has a restaurant-like breakfast. There is a menu where you can choose from. For instance, you could order: Omelette with peppers and vegetables. Yogurt. Fruits. Coffee. Hotel staff would cook and bring it to you in a few minutes. Rooms: Not too big, just the right size for me. Clean and modern looking. The pictures here accurately show both larger suite room and single/double rooms. There also seems to be a bar area downstairs (I am not sure if it's under same ownership) which was empty every time I walked by. There are plenty of other bars and restaurants within 1 minute walk.

This hotel deserves 5 stars out of 5 when it comes to customer satisfaction! The lady manager is awesome, and the staff is very accommodating. Do not hesitate to ask them for help. The location is the most central you can get (Kilometer 0), a NO-CAR touristic zone in the middle of the city, however, taxis are within 2 minutes of your hotel, and they are very cheap. You will feel like royalty at this hotel. Very quiet in spite of the restaurants and bars in the neighborhood (the walls and the windows are soundproofed - made in Germany). Clearly, they invested a lot: better quality beds, luxurious cotton sheets, bathrooms are up-to-date, new hardwood floors, sparkling clean stairs, rooms and lobby, delicious, very healthy breakfast of highest quality. I will stay here again when I come back to Bucharest! I live in the United States and I traveled the world. You will not find these high standards with such personal touch from the management in most hotels. They will give you attention as if you are the only guest... I also have to say that the other customers of the hotel and the restaurants nearby are high-quality and quite well behave for a central zone. Very cosmopolitan zone, clean and elegant! Do not hesitate: enjoy the bar and restaurants, get a massage, a spa treatment, and shop for souvenirs in the surrounding boutiques...

Hotel a tre piani senza ascensore e nessun cambio per tutte le cinque notti trascorsi (né lenzuola e né asciugamani). L'unica cosa da salvare è la posizione. L'Hotel è risultato al di sotto delle mie aspettative. Suggerisco ad "Hotels.com" di essere più chiari negli annunci: una volta avete scritto "tutto compreso" ed all'arrivo in Hotel mi hanno fatto pagare in aggiunta la tassa di soggiorno, ora il prezzo comprendeva la colazione ed all'arrivo in Hotel mi è stata negata. Senza colazione io "quasi sempre" rinuncio alla prenotazione. Ho scelto questo Hotel perché comprendeva la colazione, diversamente avrei scelto un'altra struttura con lo stesso prezzo.

Ett bra litet hotel som har nära till allt. Dock passar det inte om man har svårt för hög musik natten lång.

Positif : Centre ville. Prix bas, très bonne wifi. Négatif : L'hôtel est situé dans une rue piétonne extrêmement bruyante toute la nuit. Les rideaux laissent passer la lumière pendant la nuit. Le lit est de mauvaise qualité. La douche fuit. Plusieurs ampoules grillées dans la chambre. La réception est ouverte toute la nuit, mais comme le réceptionniste dort, il faut téléphoner pour qu'il vienne ouvrir la porte;
