Again , our stay are amazing😊😊this is our 2nd times staying here , with same view, and really very happy with our choice. All the staff here are very helpful & friendly . They really make our stay feel welcomed. I received flowers and cakes from the hotel for my birthday, and on arrival day too for our anniversary 👍👍👍. Definitely will come back here again. Very clean with good air-conditioning room . The cafe breakfast good too.This times round the weather are so good. Cooling maybe because of year end soon. We really love to stay here because of the location as well. Cos just within 10 mins walking distance to BTS station. And i would like to said Thank you to all the staff here. We will back here soon , see you guys soon.😁😁 Thkq very much🙏👏👏

Terrible experience

Dislike this stay! Checking in process took an hour. Booking information was not sent to hotel. Front desk wouldn’t check me in and asking me contact agency on my own instead of assisting or checking with agency. Easy NOT being handy at all, 11pm at a rainy night. Hotels.com could make the call to neither hotel or me. Over all checking in process was terrible. Hotel claim not receive agency information. Agency claim hotel not reachable, and just let me wait at lobby till midnight.

I have stayed at this hotelat least five(5) times and enjoyed my times there but this time was disappointed that they lost my reservation and I had to pay more for the suite than I was quoted in my resrvation

We like about the location of the property is very convenient, clean, beautiful and staff was very friendly and attentive. I only thing we want to suggest is if there is 3 people in the room. They should be a towel for each person.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a good stay. The food was good. Location was convenient to the metro and it was easy to get a taxi or a grab. Was a little far out from the airport though. I would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding service

Hotel Aircon system requires major overhaul

The aircon system is stuffy and the whole room is not “ freshed “ - feels like there is a virus inside that cause sleepiness, running nose and body aches. Breakfast noodles don’t taste good and porridge is not warm, quite disgusting to eat if your Asian taking the breakfast.

Overall is okay and you feel 80s. Only the swimming pool is a bit disappointed. It's old and small. Breakfast is good and staff are helpful. Also close to subway and night food market.

Very satisfied with everything there. I'm very happy that I had choose this hotel for our vacation there.. really very comfortable to stay here , spacious room, only if have bidget near toilet bowl that would be perfect definitely. spacious cafe and quite convenient to mrt station, just a walking distance. Hotel Cafe staff are nice too , especially Noey very hardworking person. .Breakfast also good and alot of varieties too. Definitely will stay here again if we come by Bangkok.

Terrible miscommunication front desk employees

I was bumped off my early morning flight and decided to stay at the Swisshotel. When I arrive at 6:30am they told it was too early to check in and that they were fully booked, so I would not be able to have an early check in and would have to wait till at 10:00-11:00am for housecleaning to make my room. They told me that I can sit in the lobby and they will inform once my room was ready for me. I checked with another girl at the front desk around 9:00am and she said the room was still not ready, however, she reassured me that they knew I was waiting and as soon as the room was ready, they would come and get me. At 10:30am, I checked again with a different front desk girl, this time my room was ready! How long was my room waiting for me? I think the girls at the front desk dropped the bomb and made promises they didn’t keep! It wasn’t super busy up there and I was super tired sitting on an uncomfortable couch in the lobby. I wanted to complain to many but was more tired and anxious to get to my room! I realize that the normal check in time was 2:00pm, but don’t make promises you can’t keep and especially from 2 different people! The hotel hotel is nice and elegant overall but being a service oriented industry, it could be a 5-star hotel with 2-star staff!

The Hotel accommodations were excellent as well as the staff. The breakfast that was available for purchase was really outstanding as far as quality and price. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I would do it again!

Great hotel with best breakfast

The staff at Swissotel is exceptional. They were personable, and friendly and attended to our every need in a timely manner. The hotel is adjacent to the metro system which is very convenient when going into the city center. I recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when I visit Bangkok.

80's grand Euro- style architecture in black granite and marble. Front desk staff were marvelous, polite and helpful as well as efficient. Check-in was a snap. The restaurants were also much above the standard hotel fare offering Swiss delights as well as local cuisine. Everything seemed to be made fresh on or near the premises without the usual perfunctory desiccated and tasteless pastry/dessert board and the stale bread. I recommend the lunch buffet in particular. Rooms were spotless and the spa bathrooms had a separate shower and tub areas. The rooms were also angled so that all rooms get a view after the 8th floor or so. The rooms were also very spacious with all the electrical amenities such as water boiler, smartTV sets, good selection of channels in English, bathrobes, slippers, toothbrushes/toothpaste, etc.

The tv of my room is spoiled, shower head wasnt working very well. However , the cleanliness was good and the housekeeper are very attentive and helpful. The staff are very friendly and helpful in general! They always try to offer help when required!

Excellent in all regards though not as central

I stay here for a few weeks a year. It was selected by the company where I work, not by myself, but I was pleasantly surprised. Very helpful people, very attentive, spacious bathroom, clean, nice places to eat on site, easy walk to MTR and night market, nice pool and fitness area. This is a great value, and the only real drawback is for tourists who are not experienced travelers, since it is not directly on top of or adjacent to a mall like some of the similar hotels in central. On the other hand this is a more real area, with local flavor. This is hard to beat for the price and the staff are really great. I rarely give good reviews, but I have stayed here for weeks and been happy with it.

Free breakfast ( lot of fruit ) . Chinese, Japanese,Thai,Korean & western food. Close to MRT station.

Very busy with conferences and gatherings. Several nights I was woken by noisy patrons returning to their room at 2am and 4am respectively and on the final night there seems to be a party in the adjacent room. A great pool but disappointed it was closed one day for a function and there was no food or beverage service pool side.

This is a great hotel. 5 minutes walk to the nearest MRT station (Huai Khwang) and just one stop to the night market, they have good foods there.

Just few minutes away from the train station. Happy to have free upgrade. Bathroom condition is super terrible. Water supply in shower is not strong enough and unstable water temperature. Water came out and the whole floor footed with water if using the bath tube! The sink faucet is so strong that made the counter all with water!

Provide a hotel shuttle to places of interest - shopping malls, Grand palace.

It's located very near MRT station and nearby with popular night market with lots of food choices to choose from. For the hotel room it's clean and spacious. Lobby is large and grand.

Great hotel

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (one very late check-in). All staff were great and hospitable. Food (buffet/breakfast) and drink was lovely also, I did not dine in the second restaurant. Pool side is nice and clean and the pool was great to. Vallet staff were great for arranging taxis. The coffee/snack/cake area is nice. Bar was fine, didn't use much. I will stay here again and will receommend to all my team.

I had stayed in many luxurious hotels before, the Swiss standard is by far excellent in many ways, besides a few problems with certain staff, I would highly recommend to stay at this hotel. The room service staff especially exceeded all my expectations.

Everyone was very polite and I only have extremely positive experience with all employee's of the hotel. Front desk Doormen Concierge Beeakfast staff and obviously the cleaning ladies !!!!

Excellent value for money. Though an old hotel the rooms have been recently renovated. Not sure if the whole property has been renovated so be sure to request a renovated room.

An oasis;literally!

The hotel is located amidst an urban hell of flyovers, infrastructure construction sites, mega malls and their cat parks, yet with all is calm sophistication, especially the pool which sits in a tropical garden, and is a joy! The property is probably 20 years old and Centara have given it a very effective rejuvenation, though the rooms are on the small side. Nevertheless the staff are lovely and so far the club lounges offerings have been top class. Would be delighted to stay again.

Thanks for the beautiful bouquet of white flowers they gave me for our Wedding Anniversary! and the rose petals shaped into a big heart with two swans on top of the very comfy bed! For the good food, great selection at the Executive Lounge. Thanks to the friendly staff - Salinee, Parida, and most especially to Thansarut! We felt like home because of their hospitality. GOD bless you all! We hope to come back, location is very accessible, the subway station just a few steps away from the hotel and malls around the area.

Good but Short Stay

Hotel was some distance from the main shopping area - Pratunam and MBK - including the temples Wat Arum. Good thing it was just next to a subway station. Was able to go outside Bangkok because of efficient a tour company. Must go back to try BKK’s street food and Thai massage.

Hood hotel for Asian clients

No one speaks English. Took 3 people to figure out how to get to cruise port. Difficult to make yourself understood. Hard to get directions or any city info. Room was good but very very cold and thermostat did not seem to work. Not recommended for North American clients.
