The hotel as hall was satisfactory standard! Staff in general were polite. I think they can benefit from a customer service awareness course as some of them was below standard specially on the bar area in our arrival it took the guy 45 minutes to get us 2 club sandwiches and when they eventually arrived the sandwich and the chips were called.
I had a pleasant short stay at the Swiss Inn Pyramids. The location is convenient, especially if you’re looking to enjoy the surrounding golf courses and proximity to the pyramids. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The resort offers a peaceful ambiance, ideal for a quick getaway. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay near Cairo’s historic sites.
Had to change rooms twice with no resolution of malodorous stimulant fumes coming into room through walls, ceilings, floors, and AC vents causing unhealthy neuro & gastro symptoms including insomnia and lack of sleep. Missed seeing pyramid of Teti due to exhaustion.
Bed bugs
I noticed a large hair and dust ball on the bed cover. Housekeeping changed sheets, it took 7 different sheets to find a proper new clean set. One bed was too lumpy to sleep on and the last night I got two large bed bug bites. Very upsetting
Exceeded all expectations. Thank you
Very happy!
The Staff at our check in was not friendly. Everyone else was courteous and friendly. Staff at the Gold course were excellent. The housekeepers were superb. Dining was great.
Property is very good and clean
Was expecting more from a 5 star Hotel
They should make sure the room is properly clean before guests check-in. The toilet was disgusting when we arrived, like someone had used it and no cleaning after that! Have video evidence but cannot upload here
The hotel is really perfect and staff are professional. The food is the best.
Rates by nationality as Racism which is discrimination, pre-judgements or hostile behaviours directed at another person on the basis of their race or nationality , Question is Why 5 stars Global Chains didn't apply rates by nationality for the same reason no rates based on race
We travel to Cairo very frequently, mainly for Business, but this time we made a combination with our Daughter, to do some sightseeing and also attend our business in Sadat City, for which reason we chose this Hotel. Our Experience with the Management, Public Relation and Restaurant Staff was EXCELLENT with very exclusive attention to our needs and desires, for which we are very Thankful. However, the Hotel as is definitely not up to the standards of a 4 star Hotel
Under Mild not as I expected totally disappointed compared by sorrounding hotels
Not what I expected The service was average. I don’t believe this is a 5 star hotel...I found mosquitos inside the room and got mosquitos bites too. The room looks old and poorly cleaned.
I didn't like that the room wasn't clean enough, Not all the bathroom amenities were replaced, I found some used ones which was a huge turn off and made me suspect that the rest of the room isn't clean. The wifi was super slow and unstable, not suitable at all if you want to work or browse.
Terrible atmosphere, Egyptians Guys around swimming pool with screaming
Great overall experience.
The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean but slightly dated. Lack of a kettle etc but location and cost were good.
Great experience!
Fantastic place, great service, and friendly staff. You won't regret staying here, unlike the Hilton down the road.
Good for a few days stay.in the outskirts of town.Make sure to check all invoices before paying as they always give you the wrong totals.
It was so good Maybe I will try them again
3rd stay, enjoyed it immensely.
Third stay at this hotel. As usual it’s amazingly serene and staff is super friendly. Tried the dinner buffet for the first time and it was exceptional. Breakfast was also hearty. Rooms clean, massive shower room with great water pressure.
Would come again, just to relax.
Really enjoyed my stay here. Super friendly staff, spacious and clean room, and great breakfast buffet. Came here for a weekend and was far from the bustle of the city - all green and stone and zen-ish architecture; exactly what I needed to get away and take a break.
Disappointing
This is my 13th stay at Swiss Inn and sadly, standards have fallen in the last 3 years I've been there as a guest. Certain aspects, like the staff are fantastic, but let down by slow or even bad service. Food standard has fallen. Pool area is excellent as are the gardens. But with weddings a major source of income to the hotel, this is important. The refurbished rooms are great but there are some that are still 'dated'. A remark I overheard at the poolside.
Nice but should be better internet speed
The hotel it's nice to be in Egypt, room is clean and people are very nice and kind. The problem it's the internet, very slow. I've to restart in the room the wifi every 5 min. I couldn't video call my family by whatsapp
very nice hotel layout, very good maintain, clean. Nice rooms, professional and friendly personnel. Excellent view and directly connect to the international golf club. Very nice swimming pool but still very cold water.
I didn't like the way staff deals with customers' enquires. They ignor it n u have to ask again till they listen
Biggest mistake ever
Worst hotel ever unprofessional very dirty
I enjoyed every single day in it Absolutely all was perfect
It is a very good hotel compared to the value, I enjoy my time
I booked this room to have a staycation in Cairo after a round of golf. Positives were the pool and cleanliness. Check in/out was also quick and smooth. However, what got me was the room service. I tried calling down 4 times in a 15 minute period with no answer. The 5th time, someone simply picked up and hung up. I called back, no answer. I went to the a la carte restaurant on the 2nd floor, literally no one there. So I go downstairs where I know a wedding is going on because of the incredibly loud music (not complaining, party it up!). Am not allowed through. So now I'm stuck. Go back up, call twice more for food no answer. Wait another hour, then try again. Finally, am able to place order. Food was fine, reasonable service. I know this sounds like first world problems, but it took 2 hours for me to at least get ice and/or mix for my drink in my room, never mind the food. I even tried to go get it, but couldn't. Further, check out is at noon. I had just come back from breakfast at 9 when someone knocked on my door and asked if I was leaving soon. Now I'm getting the bum rush 3 hours before check out? Next time I'm paying the little bit extra for the Hilton next door.
An Excellent Experience.....Would Stay There Again
The hotel staff was genuinely interested in giving us good service from the front desk to housekeeping to 24-hour room service...they were professional, friendly and polite. The breakfast buffet was the best...there was everything you could possibly want to eat for breakfast, whether American or Egyptian food, including an omelette chef, potatoes, pancakes, sausages, a big array of pastries, freshly made falafels, fool (fava beans) with all the fixings, eggplant dishes, cheeses, cold cuts, breads, cut up veggies, fruit yogurts/mousses, hot and cold cereals...buffet was clean, very well serviced and food was fresh. Hotel and grounds/gardens are very well kept and clean with a peaceful resort feeling. Our room was big, quiet, and clean with a nice balcony over looking pool and golf course. But the bathroom grout was not so clean, the towels were a dingy white, and the bathroom fan didn't work. Also the beds have a thin mattress. Plenty of closet and drawer space. There is free onsite parking and free WiFi with a business center open 24/7. Free bottled water is just one small bottle a day. The minibar is an empty fridge. Security checks all incoming cars at the gate to the parking area. Even though hotel is off a major thoroughfare, which is convenient, it is set back a bit so you don't hear the traffic noise. It is down the road from the Mall of Egypt and very close to Dream Park. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.
Mixed Feelings
I was staying here for three nights on a business trip. The hotel was well located for my business requirements. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and well appointed. The only negatives were:- 1. On one night I was kept awake until 03.00 am by several guests who seemed to be partying outside on the terrace next to my room, which was on the ground floor facing the pool. 2. There is just one restaurant at the hotel and the choice of food was ok, but not brilliant.
Good location but many inconveniences.
Here are the facts behind this rating during our stay: - Very slow and unreliable WiFi connection that is not suitable for business requirements. - We couldn't book a local taxi through the reception staff. - Though requesting a late check-out before arrival, staff didn't confirm except on the morning of check-out date giving us only one extra hour. - We couldn't hand over our laptops after checkout and before traveling. - Smoking is allowed in the business center, and there is no dedicated area for non-smoking guests. - Staff is almost requesting tips for carrying our luggage to/from the room.
Another Nice Stay
Apart from a pre-paid room simply not being available to me on check-in, I enjoyed my fourth stay at Swiss Inn. Housekeeping and laundry as well as the attentive service from the staff at the Lobby Bar and restaurant deserve special mention. Also, Mr Hassan, Ahmed and Mohamed of the bar and restaurant. Thank you and will see you soon.
Not bad as regard money value
Not bad as regard money value, bad pillow, tough bed, TV remote control was not working, no warm water to have a shower at night
Good sevice and delicious food
My kids like it Good service Delicious food Cooperative stuff Nice stay
Fabulous but has flaws
I returned to the Swiss Inn because of its location, good wifi and excellent food. My room was overlooking the pool and gardens and had a good choice of tv channels. Not particularly comfortable chairs and a 'mini bar' that is just an empty fridge. Complimentary water on arrival, not daily. The food and bar service is excellent but I get so frustrated at being let down with slow or complete lack of service in other departments, namely housekeeping, room service and reception (although check in was excellent). I may return again but there are other options in this location
Not a bad hotel for the price
I stayed at the Swiss Inn for the entire week of my Egypt trip. The hotel is conveniently located between the shopping district (i.e. the Mall of Arabia and the Mall of Egypt which is still under construction as of December 2016) and the tourist sites such as the Pyramid of Giza. Moreover, it is also about a 40 minutes cab ride to get to downtown Cairo. Going back to the hotel, the two amenities that the hotel offers are free wifi and an outdoor pool. The wifi is really slow during the day. However, if all you need to do is to check and send emails then the bandwidth is sufficient. As for the pool, its relatively small, but people generally do not use it (at least I did not see many people in the pool during my stay). As for the food options offered by the hotel, they have a decent selections of "American" sandwiches and drinks; they are overpriced. There is a McDonald about 5 minutes walking distance of the hotel for a cheaper alternative. Staffs at the hotel are friendly. I'd strongly recommend tipping the bell person and your housekeeper. There's noticeable distinctions of room-cleaning when you leave tips for the person and it's a small price to pay. Overall, it's a nice and clean hotel to stay for a cheap price.
The overall was O'K, except the Reception Service, which was very poor, as well the Guest Relation Officer, which have no any idea what is his responsibility in the lobby and what is his duties.
Great hotel, Awesome price
Perfect hotel size for a family with super heated pool and nice clean and updated rooms. golfing in one of Egypt's best golf courses next door was soooo good. Breakfast was super good with anything your heart desire.
Cute and quiet
This hotel was very nice for the price. Its about half an hour away from the airport. I personally don't recommend calling the hotel for pick up as they use a taxi service and the owner (while a really nice guy) will try to talk you into using his company to tour the area and in doing this he takes you to quite a few places that are clearly owned by his friends on the way to any sights you want to see. It wasn't a huge inconvenience but I could have done without it. Also his prices were high. Everywhere we went was $50 USD. The hotel itself is great. Awesome breakfast buffet and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Its very quiet and picturesque. I would recommend it.
Clean room. Courteously helpful staff.
Comfortable experience! I enjoyed my stay at Swiss Inn so much.

Swiss inn pyramids golf resort , cairo , egypt
Me and the family had a nice weekend , the swiss inn pyramids golf resort also had a tasty breakfast and dinner too and a big land scape .
Horrible experience
I think that the CEO of this group and the manager of this location should take another look at the condition of the hotel in general and the rooms in particular. It is dirty and hard to get any service within resnonable time. Left over shampo and conditioner are used all over again. Waited over 24 hours to get some bottled water, and the food is just as bad as the service. Also, the manager is never available.
