The apartment is large and comfortable.

Upon check in none of my VIP perks were acknowledged or provided. We were told that the free breakfast was not being offered due to it being the holidays. Things like this should be advertised as we paid extra to stay here for that reason. When we got to our room, there was no view. It said courtyard view but we were in a basement unit that looked at a sidewalk and a fence. We couldn’t even keep the curtains open due to people constantly walking right next to our window and looking in, it felt really awkward. The only nice thing was the heated mattress pad and heated bathroom floor.

Room was okay. The only windows looked out onto the walkway where everyone passes to and from so zero privacy which wasn’t helped by construction work taking place during our stay where we had builders outside our window starting work at 8am. We wouldn’t have minded this but we weren’t informed about this at all by any staff so was a rather sudden awakening by men shouting to each other.

Wish we had more time here

Unfortunately we could only spend one night here because we left for Franz Joseph the next morning. But, we were delighted when we arrived and saw this beautiful room…amazing view of the lake with floor to ceiling windows, it had a full kitchen, fireplace, living room and dining area. I could stay there for weeks and be happy. Only one downside is the distance from downtown. We took cabs. But, if you like to walk, it’s a lovely one.

Nice stay

Room has a lovely view and lounge is very comfortable with gas fire. however the bed was very poor quality mattress. No instructions that we could find to work dishwasher and the expel air when i turned it on whilst boiling jug smelt dreadful and is sagging in one corner. small problems only important if you want a good nights sleep. Cognizant that they are going to be refurbished but cleaning the expelair and a new mattress might be good remedial options meantime.

Enjoyable stay

Lovely apartment in Queenstown. Everything you need in the apartment including heated towel rail! Be aware you have to carry your luggage up steps or a ramp from the underground carpark. No lifts. Great views. There was even a gas heater that looked like a real fire! Novelty for us people who come from cairns.

Great apartment but complex is on the busiest street through town. Lots of traffic noise and cars driving by windows. Unit was clean but furniture will need to be replaced soon.

Lake views apartment

Worth paying the extra for a lake view, outstanding. Not to far from the town center. Nice staff and a spacious apartment with good facilities including washer and dryer.

Nice view and fireplace but at this price point you would expect a bath with some minimal outlook, a ceiling exhaust fan in bathroom that was not deafening, a couple of dressing gowns, perhaps a keyless lock so that more than one person could come/go and even a daily clean that included sweeping the floor. Also limited TV channels with reliance on chrome cast, no salt/pepper, no dustpan for self clean. They advertise discount at local gym but this is no longer the case. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location with epic views. Loved having a fireplace in the suite and great having full kitchen facility. Onsite parking, sad that there is no lift, a bit of a struggle getting luggage up to second floor although help was offered. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, would highly recommend.

Everything was fine except the bed! Absolute shocker! Too soft & lumpy…worst 4nights sleep ever! I know I should have said something….my bad

Housekeeping not done so wet towels for us and coffee and tea not topped up, body wash, shampoo and conditioner empty. Shower handle broken. Rooms very small and shower difficult to get into if any physical issues.

We felt disappointed at the original booking to the point of moving despite having just checked in. Thankfully we were moved to an A suite. But still the care in the place was average. I can’t thank the front desk enough as they managed to salvage a disappointing first impression with a room change. The advertisement of a court yard apartment is not acceptable

Distance to trundle bags over a path that was less than suitable for bag cartage was main concern. " Garden View" there was none!

There was nowhere to park when checking in. The TV didn't work and the traffic noise was constant.

I booked a room without the lake view. Big mistake. I also like hotel type of environment with restaurants and other amenities like a spa. These are flat out apartments only. Not what I wanted and so I only stayed one night and then moved to a nearby hotel for slightly a higher price and also closer to the city center.

We had mice in our first room. When we asked for a new room they said they were booked solid. We then stayed at another nearby hotel paid by Belsuites. The next evening we were given a Suite and reduced rates. It was a mess for us but all is now well.

Great location easily walkable to the downtown and wharfs areas. Room was small but comfortable. Carpets appeared quite dirty.

Good location, view was excellent when you pay for the lake view room. Staff were friendly, buffet was so so, it just have some breakfast materials which can be all purchased at grocery store since they don't have a kitchen. Room's hardwares are aging with moderate wear, especially the wood floor, which is dirty with accumulated dust, area rug needs to be replaced

I wouldn't book the room I had again - Guest Room - Courtyard Facing - as there was no courtyard and the walkway looked down on my room, so I spent most of the time with my blinds closed. Overall though a good place to stay, clean, 10-15 minute pleasant stroll to Queenstown CBD, and bus stop 1 min away to most areas around Queenstown.

Positives: Good location, easy walk into town. Large apartment with good parking. Clean and well appointed. Negatives: bathroom fan really, really noisy and could not be turned off when using bathroom. Blinds across road frontage are completely see through from outside when lights are on. Road noise quite loud.

Stayed for 2 nights. Very accommodating with holding bags early as we explored town. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Clean room. Quiet. A 15 min walk to downtown. Only issue for us was coffee maker did not work so went without.

Wow. Amazing views and really nice, clean modern space. We only stayed one night, but once we got there wished we had booked more.

Staff are friendly However not easy for senior guest. Many step for check in -out No in door Jaquese and need to make reserve but last reserve is 7pm. Too early!!

Their marketing states “pinnacle of luxury”…. In what universe? No view of the lake but of a very busy road. Noisy. Car passengers looking in your window so no privacy. Toiletries, sheets, pillows etc very low quality. Avoid!!!!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, attentive service that made us feel truly welcome. The suite was beautifully clean, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable, but the highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view—waking up to the sight of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains was pure magic. The location is fantastic! It’s within walking distance of all the best Queenstown attractions, including the Skyline Gondola, amazing restaurants, lively bars, shops, and even the stunning lakeside beaches. It was so convenient to explore the town on foot, yet the hotel still felt peaceful and relaxing. If you’re looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and perfectly located place to stay in Queenstown, this is it! We loved every moment and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Room was small, but had a nice (tiny) kitchenette. The hotel is a long, but good, walk to downtown.

Nice place, would recommend getting a lake view room as garden view all i could see were feet good past, neighbors were loud coming and going with slamming doors, price was good for the time of year.

Delux room is the second room of a condo. Room was tiny, AC didn’t cool the room in the afternoon. Floors were filthy, small kitchen area is damaged near the floor. We received one day of breakfast on our 4 night stay… fridge wasn’t restocked. Overall the s was a very disappointing experience.

Close to city centre (15 min walk) and very accessible off the main road. Rooms were small but had everything you need. The breakfast was a nice touch! Would stay again for sure.

Beautiful scenery enjoyed it all the time

Nothing to like about this place. The receptionists are rude and always seemed bothered when asked info. Always looking at their computer screen when talking to you, no eye contact. And it’s definitely not a 5 star by any standards! At the most a 2 star. Old and dirty, smelly carpets, uncomfortable bed. They need to renovate and upgrade the furniture in this hotel. AC was working very weakly and makes some annoying creaking like it’s on its last life. There are many better hotels closer to the center of town. This place is about 20 minute walk to the center, ok to walk during the day, but too dark to walk back at night.

This was classed as a 5 star, there is no way we could agree to that. Our room was really small and only had one chair so where are we supposed to eat? We had court side room and although no view of the lake which is fine I did expect the room to be better sized. Even if we had outside benches it would help. Just very glad that the weather was gorgeous and meant we weren’t cooped inside. The situation and area of the accommodation was gorgeous the views of the lake and the ease of getting to places. Was good . We paid high prices for this accommodation and expecting 5 star. The lake side rooms may qualify for that but not our room. (Court side room)

Staff are friendly and nice. Its super easy to get around. The room is spacious and has everything we need. Bit of Lake view but more of a highway view because I was assigned to a lower level room. Room had a constant strange smell. Need to keep the windows open at all time to get rid of the smell. Previous visitors hid a used bowl in the cupboard. Quite gross for us to find it and put it to the dish washer.

Well located to walk to town this apartment had beautiful views over the mountains and lake

When we were starting to look for properties to stay at in Queenstown we came across Swiss Belsuites. The pictures made this property look awesome! The check in was straight forward and easy. We had booked the lake view one bedroom super suite. When we walked in the front door our first impression was average. The floors were noticeably scratched up and the carpets appeared to be in rough shape. There were scratches all over the walls and the baseboards appeared dirty. The kitchen was very bare bones. We had expected to do most of our meals at the apartment over our 3 day stay and found the cookware was very worn out and old. The AC in our unit was decent, however every minute or so would make an annoying buzzing noise. Most of the furniture in the apartment appeared very used. The coffee table looked dirty and the couch was unstable with one of the legs clearly broken and smelled of wet dog. Besides when we checked into the suite, we never were able to really experience house keeping as they arrived at 4 pm each day when we had already returned from a full day of activities. The first night we had a very rough sleep as our neighbours next door were loud and we felt as though we could hear everything through the walls. The view from the living room is lovely, but sadly I don’t think that makes up for the higher price point of the suite.

Amazing Views

We really enjoyed our stay. It was within walking distance to town, close to restaurants & shopping.

Location is great. The town center is 10 minutes by walk. The staff was courteous. I think the floor plan isn’t ideal esp if you get a courtyard facing unit. It can feel quite cramped especially when the blinds are closed.

Had to wait to check in, limited space to eat in room, several furnishings in poor condition

It was a like a normal hotel, small but fine for our 2 night stay.

A little bit of a hall to get the luggage up to the room without an elevator, but other than that, enjoyed our stay.

The property is nice and clean. It is only one km away from the city center which is very convenient. Most rooms have a view of the Wakatipu lake which is beautiful. The hotel has no lift so it will difficult for older people with heavy luggage.

Nice place

Unit was nice, two bedroom with two bathrooms was great for our family of four. I was a bit disappointed with the view. We were in a ground floor unit in the back building, from the photo’s it looked like you were right on the water.

The location and view from the property were amazing, but it was noisy because it's right next to the main road. The room service was disappointing; we put up the sign requesting cleaning for two consecutive days, but no one cleaned the room. When I reported this to reception, they explained that the staff were off due to the holidays. Despite paying a premium holiday rate, no one cleaned the room during our entire three-day stay. For the price, you’re better off staying elsewhere

Location was the best part.

I would definitely not recommend this place. Absolutely no value for the money paid. We were disappointed. The only thing good about this place was the view. There was no help and we had to struggle to drag our luggage up 2 flight of stairs. The room air conditioning was not working. It was only working in the living room. Bedroom was stuffy and this place needs an uplift for sure. The “breakfast” was not a breakfast at all. They threw a few pieces of bread and 2 small boxes of milk in the fridge with some cereal. We had to Uber to town for everything.

Loved the amenities, especially laundry. Staff were great. Decor somewhat dated and worn.

Extremely disappointed - poor value

Wow, what a massive disappointment to what we were expecting for the money invested. So disappointed. Noisy, very poor breakfast provision, apartment was very tired (needing maintenance), extremely expensive for what is provided. We will never stay again nor recommend to anyone.

We enjoyed walking into the city centre, and the convenient bus stop. Lovely view from the apartment. Expensive though, especially as the rooms were not serviced through our entire stay.

Check Security Deposit Is Returned

Stay was fine, but had to battle to get my deposit returned. Even though I paid in full up front a considerable amount for a room for five nights, they still asked for a security deposit (fine) to cover damage or theft. This was not released for over a week after check out, so had to contact my bank and ask them to chase it (otherwise the hotel could keep the money). Not very good from a customer perspective.

Pick something else

I won't recommend this place. It is in need of update with dirty carpet, peeling furniture and painting. The outside looks nice and the accommodations definitely are out of date.

The view was spectacular! Within easy walking distance of town centre. Shopping and other amenities close by; bus stop beside complex. Full kitchen with great assortment of cookware, utensils/tools, crockery and glasses.

Lovely property with beautiful views... breakfast was dismal. Waste of money for frozen bread and some fruit. Otherwise ok property.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. We wanted to upgrade our room and it was fine with no problem.

The signs are not very easily visible. The room is too small to be a 5-star accommodation, and the carpet could be replaced. The bathroom is pleasantly clean and appropriate size.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Aussicht auf eine stark befahrene Strasse, nicht wie es von uns gebucht wurde. Trotz Reklamation kein anderes Appartement erhalten. Bademantel nur in Kindergrösse vorhanden. Kleines Badezimmer kaum Platz für die Zahnbürste. Tablar an der Wand nur noch die Halterung vorhanden. Handtücher nur für 1 Person vorhanden. Nach Reklamation besser. Der Boden im gesamten Appartement war nicht sauber und wurde auch die ganzen 4 Tage nie gesaugt oder gewischt. Teppich fleckig und auch sonst eher abgewohnt. Wifi für Fernseher funktionierte nicht. Wir würden nicht wieder buchen, weit entfernt von 5 Sternen.

2 nights in Queenstown

Didn’t really know what to expect after reading the mixed reviews, our stay is 100% positive. I booked a 1 bedroom apartment, and received an email immediately after the booking confirmation the bed configuration. The apartment is very spacious, clean, and modern, with an unobstructed view of the lake. There is free parking in the garage underneath the apartment. Downtown is 15 minutes walking distance away, although uphill walking back from DT. Airport is 10 minutes away. Convenient location, super happy with the stay.

Really beautiful location overlooking the lake and the mountains. Rooms are spacious and the kitchens well stocked with everything you will need. The road traffic never stopped as Queenstown is popular but earplugs solved that challenge. Also bus from airport stops right at the hotel. Walkable to town and across road from lake walk.

we stayed there 3 times using Queenstown as a base. Second time around, they upgraded us to a suite that had a living room and kitchen. It had the most amazing views of the lake. Also just walking distance to Queenstown Town center. Management was also really nice and accommodates early check in

Very nice property a little walk (1.25km) from the main Queenstown dining and shopping area. The hotel rooms are in very good condition with modern amenities; all in working condition. Heating, fire place, heated beds. Bathrooms are a little small. There is no shower stall but a shower over a small, tiled tub. However, the to get into the tub would be a task for an older person. Its quite a step one has to take to get in and get out. Daily housekeeping is only clearing of the bins, towel replacement. Washing machine, dryer all in good working condition. The hotel is right on the main high way leading in-out of Queenstown so there is constant movement of cars and trucks. We stayed on the ground level two bed room apartment. It had nice, wonderful views of the lake. However, the views from the upper level apartments would have been much better. Choose the upper level apartments if one has the choice.

Calm stay at Queenstown

Overall stay was comfortable. Change for Towels was never occured during our stays for three nights. Equipments for preparing for meals were sufficient. Airconditioning was difiiccult because it is automative and cannot adjust by ourselves. Thank you.

Great split level apartment with excellent lake views. Undercover parking was a bonus.

Great option for a comfortable Queenstown stay

Great experience, comfortable rooms. Make sure you get a Lake-View Room. The kitchen amenities and fireplace in the room were excellent touches that greatly contributed to a wonderful stay at this property. Its about 15mins walk to the central tourist area in Queenstown.

Bathroom fan was too noisy and wired with the light. Laundry was shared with neighbours...gross. Iron on the floor. Too far to carry bags to rooms with no lifts. Artwork needs updating...old unattractive canvas print. Couch fabric was horrible and looked it. Disappointing for the price. Book an upstairs room so you don't look across the highway.

No privacy

Convenient location and excellent views. No privacy from the street, which I didn’t mind but when there’s crawling traffic and a sidewalk outside your floor-to-ceiling windows without proper curtains. Our Tv setup was very dated and none of the streaming services worked (but worked fine on our devices). The place has some signs of wear, but still very lovely and clean.

Walkable distance to town. Fabulous views. Very well equipped. Great stay.

A little way out of down town Queenstown. But excellent.

We rented a suite. It was a bit on the small side, but had everything we needed. We even had a washer and dryer (free) that we were able to access right outside our door. We were about a ten minute drive to downtown Queenstown. Be sure to take the gondola up the mountain for a beautiful view of the city. If you are adventurous ride the luge down the mountainside. It was safe and fun! In the evening go into town and walk along the water. Outdoor cafes, bars, and live music. It was great!!!!
