Excellent service, so clean and modern. Comfortable bed and modern facilities.

The service staff friendly and helpful. Room was large, dated, had two rooms small kitchen. Parking below hotel was tight and limited. Breakfast was real eggs made to order.

Excellent stay

We had an excellent stay. Swiss is a new, modern and spacious building with convenient parking in the basement. Room was nice, clean … and equally spacious. Staffceas friendly and flexible. We used the shared washing machine and dryer, it worked fine. Maybe only two `negative` things to mention … the tap in the bathroom was just able to reach over the sink, hence some water spill on the table top, and the breakfast was a bit `flat`. However, these are minor issues and only mentioned by spoiled guests 😊

ideal location, quality premises but why just 2 pods of Nespresso... that is pretty cheap and hence downgraded our review ... also the heat control devise in the room is very complicated and o instructions ...not good staff was great

Spacious room, very clean. Lovely reception staff. Decent gym facilities.

Great stay. The only thing that was a bit of a nuisance was the position of the tap in the bathroom over the basin meant that water spilled onto the vanity top and then on to the floor. Other than that the location and amenities were great.

Excellent choice

Everything was good enough to enjoy the Art Deco festival. Location, facilities, pristine room condition, and staff are perfect for us!

There was no parking for guests. You had to book it online so we were stuck with moving our car around to avoid parking tickets. This is a nice hotel. staff were friendly and breakfast was good. But there is no Sky TV or sports which was disappointing Overall i would rate this as a 3.5 stars hotel. Its close to downtown and an easy walk..

Lovely modern and clean room. Great breakfast choices and fast and friendly service by a guy who was cooking, clearing tables and overseeing the admin of the role! Would stay again

Property said city views we did not get city views Also if you wanted your room serviced it was $100 per day which was concerning Also the noise from the rooms above such as water running through the pipes disturbed the peace Staff were helpful however

Dining service wasn't friendly but front desk staff was friendly. Also on Monday mornings no hot breakfast as part of buffet breakfast

Everything was great. It was a bit of a disappointment that there was no warm food for breakfast on Monday as it was the chef’s day off. It would have been nice to be warned about it.

Lovely spacious room to spread out, quiet and warm. Just needed some cutlery, plates and bowls for self service food.

The mattress. Could feel the springs- bought a mattress topper but the mattress was unyielding and had a ridge where I was trying to sleep. No facility to make other than one cup of tea each for two people, had to ask for cutlery and a plate. Not even a small microwave or toaster. The suite had next to no furniture. And was not comfortable nor to a standard as advertised at 5 star…..Cat scratched wall;

Great position, walking distance to Center city, modern building, safe car park, we had an amazing holiday, thank you!:-)))

The staff were excellent, top notch breakfast and food , rooms were big with modern facilities, Overall great stay , would highly recommended 👍

Amazing place to stay

The suite I had was really big and was brand new, spotless and had a coffee maker etc. the staff really make it here, they are all warm, friendly and happy to help with anything, the breakfast was also fantastic with a great range of buffet and the choice of a cooked option as well, the eggs Benedict was delicious. The gym has cardio equipment and a weights rack and it's a two minute walk from the beach. I would definately stay here again if I was in the area.

The room was very well equiped with facilities for cooking 9which we didn't use) and washing (which we did). Room was a good size as well

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean. Our toilet seat was broken and couldn’t be replaced. We were told to take the toilet seat off and just sit on the bowl.

We are travelling with a small dog and this property suited us with big rooms and modern. 3 mins walking to Marine Parade

Disappointed to be charged a surcharge by the hotel, only using debit card which they require payment by and to swipe on arrival but then charged a surcharge

Modern well-maintained hotel near CBD (10 mins walk max). Good sized rooms and bathroom, well furnished with very comfy beds.

Great location for what I needed, check in and parking all super easy, room has everything you need with everything I needed, dinner in the restaurant was lovely and fresh and super quick service Definitely be back and highly recommend

Very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, very nice property close to shops and restaurants.

It is a great accomodation. Maybe if there is one area to improve it wil be the parking. But otherwise we have a great stay and value for money.

Really well priced. Couple of minor bathroom issues. Shower door leaked and toilet is in a very tight space. However neither of these minor issues detract from what is a very good hotel. Excellent breakfast too

A nice place to stay, friendly and helpful staff. Nice food at their restaurant. My only suggestion for an improvement would be a swipe card for the front door, otherwise you have to call on the intercom after 9.30pm.

Nice new hotel. Really liked the room and the food options. Was hard to park outside to get parking garage key and check in is my only criticism. No view like some of the other hotels but far superior rooms

Great accomodation Large Rooms the only downfall was that we wished there was a microwave. Otherwise fully recommend

Everything was just right couldn't fault anything

We’ve stayed at Swiss Belboutique several times now but I’m afraid we won’t be back. It’s simply getting the basics wrong. Room did not smell great (stale and musty), no plates or cutlery (aside from a couple of teaspoons), issues with hot water (or lack of it), being chased out of the room pretty much dead on check out time. Nothing 5 star about this. The one thing I will say is that you could see that all thre staff were trying their best (housekeeping were lovely). Maybe understaffed? Not sure but sorry guys, you’ve definitely lost a regular customer.

Art Deco to fit the city

A couple of nights in Napier on the route across NZ. The Swiss-Bel is located in a mostly commercial area, but an easy walk to city center for restaurants and shops. Reception was cordial and efficient, breakfast is abundant with nice diversity and parking is below ground and out of harms way.

Lovely clean hotel. Staff friendly. Occasionally could hear water running in pipes but did not affect stay or sleep. Highly recommend staying here.

For the money spent to stay here (which was to be a treat), the art deco light in bedroom had blown bulbs, there was black mould on floor in shower, it was not overly friendly, staff pleasant but not friendly and there is a difference. I’ve stayed in cheaper, cleaner and definitely more friendly places. Would I recommend, no ! There’s heaps of choices so I’d recommend you try another accommodation option if in Napier.

Fantastic could not fault. Clean, comfortable, good sized room. Early check in and late check out accommodated with no issues at all.

Clean and interesting decor.

A lot of noise heard from the roof, maybe birds. Also the telephone kept lighting up for some reason. Otherwise the room was fantastic. Great decor, plenty of space and the pillows were like clouds. A wonderful stay. Will definitely be back.

Only thing I did not like was the room wasn't clean enough was a bit smelling when we entered and there wasn't any plates or cutlery otherwise everything was fine.
