Stayed here with my family. It's a near to joker street and nearby eatery places.

Good location and service. Room was a bit noisy as it faced the main road. Room was clean.

Car park locates

The room is spacious , air con is strong enough and comfortable. The disadvantage of this hotel is the room facing the front door of hotel is disturb by the noisy sound of the midnight car / motorcycle racing. You are unable to sleep or Wii be wake up by the noisy sound, this is terrible, end up you can't have a good rest.

The shower water cannot go out .... so after bath floor happen 🙄 .... tell the staff then they change onother room for us .... overall not bad ... can come again .... location is good .... bot so crowded and nearby got alot of good food

Relax and enjoy

This is my second time stay here. My children enjoyed the bath tub, comfortable, clean, and relaxed. Only the parking need coupon other else is good.

near to tourist attraction (2 km) and surrounding got a lot variety of restaurant to choice.

Nice Stay

Friendly staff at the lobby. Easy to find carpark. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. I had a pleasant stay at Swan Hotel.

Wifi connection

Room is big enough for 2 person, nice and comfort, Breakfast less choices, need improvement, Location ok , Only problem is wifi connection, very2 poor sometimes unable to connect at all. They really need improvement on this. Otherwise ok for me.

Like the location, easy excess to jonker walk, mahkota parade. Standard of the hotel has drop, no toilet paper and tissue paper provided when check in, has to call up twice

Close to many attractions in Melaka, Jonker is very near so as malls and many restaurants. Although located near such places the hotel itself is nicely tucked away from the noisy traffic so we had a good rest.

I like the location, easy excess to shopping, food and jonker walk. I am return customer for this hotel, notice the service for this hotel has drop, we booked a room and paid for 3 adults including breakfast but the toiletries given only for 2 person and they still want to charge me for the 3rd person breakfast.

Stay was good but curtain had stain marks , breakfast was not too bad but shower sometimes no hot water in the morning which makes it unpleasant , but overall not too bad cause of the pricing can't expect too much

Acceptable stay

The Hotel was easy to locate being at a junction of a main road . The lobby is spacious. The room is good - bed was fine though the room lighting could be better. The only problem was the noise from the Road Racing at 2 am until 5 am. Could not sleep through out this period Not the Hotel's fault but if they could reinforce the sound insulation on the windows, it may help Breakfast was basic but filling An acceptable stay

Friendly staffs and easy parking. Food volume and varities during breakfast could have been improved else many will not be fed satisfactory.

air con is very cool, room is clean and staff are good and friendly. Just that this hotel near to main road. At night time, a lot of motorbike noise and its make us cannot sleep well.

Noisy weekend

Away from the busy part of the city. Ample parking available. Clean & spacious room. The hotel located at traffic light junction. Can hear illegal racers revving their cars & bikes throughout the night, especially on weekends

Nice Hotel

One Night with my partner. was quite good hotel. maybe need to improve the breakfast a bit, as there was not so much selection. Overall, its very good, and reasonable price.

Front office staff are helpful during checking in despite we are early they made arrangements to execute and made available for us.

I had already make a note to the hotel directly. Really not happy with the hotel n room given to me. The bed is so noisy. TQ

2 nights at Swan Melaka

Overall a positive experience for us. Not close to old town. Consider rooms not facing main roads as traffic noise ( motorcycles and loud exhaust ) can be heard. Avoid check in at night as staff level is low. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Location require transport to get around. Very close to Donald & Lin nyonya restaurant.

Comfort hotel for the price pay. Need to travel by grab To city rm5 for shopping.

Cosy Place

Stayed regularly when in Malacca. Cosy little corner with good facilities all around. Most importantly, out of the traffic mess during peak season.

The stay is good and clean. Quite near to Jonker Street and Mahkota Shopping Centre. Plenty of eateries around the hotel too. A good place to stay but limited rooms available. No Swimming Pool.

Room conditions

Facility and conditions can be improved. the bed room door lock was installed reversed. Door can be push open from outside the bedroom.

OK hotel with a noisy junction

Room was ok. Upon checked in the fridge n kettle was not thoroughly cleaned. The window in the room could not be closed tight. Breakfast had a decent spread of tasty local delights. I guess the big turn off about the hotel was the noisy location with nearby bars and mat rempits revving up and down the main junction during the weekend

Average stay

Stayed in room 510 & unfortunately, it faces the main road. Too noisy at night even after midnight, you can hear motorcycles racing. Window is spoilt so can't close properly which makes it worse. Towels are reduced to bath towels only (used to have hand towels too). Toilet has lots of stains and floor with hair Good thing is the location as usual. And check in is fast & good.

Exhaust fan in room very noisy, in night cannot sleep well.

Abit expensive for that location not so convenient

Room spacious but under construction so day time will be noisy if you happen in room. Check in strictly 3pm even left hp to front desk to call me if got early check in, totally no response.

The design room very nice and confort. Service tip top. But the only problem is noise. Motocycle and drunk chinese people make noise. Even they laughing like crazy at corridor!

The rooms are not what i booked

The room picture shown and the actual stay is different. Based on what i book i suppose to get a garden suite with bathtub facing out not bath tub facing in the room. Facing the main road, noise of the motorcyclist will kill your rest. Open carpark is dangerous too because too little parking. Furthermore the hotel is under renovation and no information at all so they assume we can accept with RM250 per night and i can stay better hotel than here. Feels cheated , i will not recommend this hotel !

BOOK GARDEN SUITE BUT THE ROOM FLOOR IS DUSTY AND OUR LEG IS BLACK. ALSO THE ROOM GOT A LOT OF BLACK ANT. THE MINI FRIDGE FULL OF BLACK ANT. WONDER HOW LONG THE ROOM IS VACANT BEFORE WE CHECK IN. THE FRONT OFFICE SHOULD GET THE HOUSEKEEPING TO CLEAN UP THE ROOM BEFORE THE GUEST CHECK IN. THIS IS MY 3RD VISIT TO SWAN GARDEN HOTEL. THE 1ST AND 2ND TIME THE ROOM WAS OK AND CLEAN. IS ONLY A NORMAL ROOM. THE SUITE ROOM SHOULD BE MORE BETTER RIGHT.

Not recommended for family

Spent one night at the hotel, very noisy during late night becouse movida club is just across the road. Illegal race also contribute the sound pollution.

The hotel is convenience.

However at night the motorcyclist make a terrible noise and might disturb your sleep. I didn't took breakfast in the hotel since they asked us to wait in the lobby and queuing for seat.

A very nice hotel

Swan Garden Hotel is a very nice hotel with friendly staff, delicious foods, free parking & WIFI access and the most important thing, they have spacious and comfortable room. My family enjoying staying there & will definitely stay the same hotel again for the next visit.

We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel served breakfast. Room was comfy and size was not too small for 2 persons. Should put more effort in the toilet. There were no tissue papers. Towel were thin and black

Overall experience was great with good hospitality..just that the housekeeping needa lee I think up.. stained pillowcases and blanket

For the price, nothing to complain. Room is clean and good condition, cold aircond. At night, the environment of the hotel is a little noisy. Breakfast buffet should prepare more vary of food.

Room allocated at first was not made up after previous guest left. New room allocated was not too clean either. Breakfast spread was so so. Check in counter staff was friendly

Needs alot of improvements.

A day before the check in,the hotel supervisor Mr KC called me up to inform me that i need to transfer money to confirm the reservation as they only accept credit card for reservation and not debit card.I told him i have no credit card and he asked me if i can register the check-in at 12pm on the day itself and informed me that my reservation will be cancelled after 3pm if no show but according to a pamphlet on the counter,it says that reservations will be cancelled after 6pm so which is correct?Saying that,the supervisor was rude & sarcastic.Such horrible service.The check-in process was smooth,i was attended by a lady.She was nice & polite.The room was okay but the shower curtain was dirty,the cabinets needs to be fixed,one of the light bulb in the room has already blow.The breakfast was okay but there was not much selections to choose from.There is no transport from the hotel to bring you to the main area.The checkout process was smooth as well.Overall it was an okay experience.

Hotel with nice lobby and rooms

Great hotel which is close distance (about 2KM) drive to Mahkota Parade. The twin deluxe room is super comfort and spacious with fridge, led tv, safe deposit box, wardrobe, and hairdressings table. Recommended for family stay.

last minute cancellation of my booking

the hotel staff called in one day in advance before check in, i didn't pick up the call but returning few hours later. the staff told me that they cant find my booking as the supervisor who calling me earlier on. they said i can check in as normal on actual date. The next day, the supervisor called again 12 noon on the actual day by telling me that we can't check in to their hotel as the drainage system in hotel affected numbers of room(my room as well). I do not know how true is his story. Best thing is that they already made an arrangement for us to another nearby hotel - 707 hotel (2.5 star hotel). Maybe same boss, or they rented out my room to other people, or their rooms really have drainage problem. 707 hotel is sucks too, room with 2 cockroach, no breakfast, the wifi is sux. I will never consider this hotel and 707 hotel.

Great location!

Good location & getting more new restaurants & spa around. The room service is bad called few times nobody answer & sound proofing is not ideal..can hear next door & upstairs walking & talking.

Nice and comfy

I managed to get this room at a good deal.. Very cheap which made my stay even more worth it. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were also very friendly. Plus, the breakfast buffet, although it was nothing to shout about, but the buffet kept our tummies really full. Good value for money and will definitely recommend this hotel to friends :)

Front desk staff was not customer driven no curtersy. Room not ready although we checkin late. Lobby was untidy with driping acond.water from the celing. Hotel not secure.

Stay one night in this beautiful hotel, very convenient to have local food, from food court to restaurant. massage is next door. hotel breakfast serve chicken rice, what a surprise! but the food quality isn't that great. Overall a good hotel and friendly staffs.

Great for location but so so for hotel service

Good location with great food nearby such as Japanese food, famous teochew restaurant and nonya food. But hotel service needs improvement... Booked two rooms but they claimed that there was only one. Waited for more than 15mins for them to clear up the paperwork for check-in. And I ordered laundry service and yet the shirt was returned unclean but folded nicely as if it was cleaned. Didn't have enough time to argue back since we were checking out the next day & we collected the "uncleaned" shirt at 10pm+ where hotel has skeleton workforce. So my hubby had to wear the unclean shirt the next day during check-out. :(

nice lobby. but dark lighting in room, corridor, and lift make ppl feel uncomfortable, and also we heard some 'disturbing sounds' at mid night in my room....

Dirty and slippery toilet

You can see mold in shower tiles obviously. The shower floor is slippery and dangerous. Hope the hotel can look into the cleaniness and the hazard in the toilet. Thanks

The Swan Effect

New hotel just outside Malacca Town. Clean rooms, nice looking lobby area and friendly staff. The breakfast needs improvement. There isn't enough continental food for choice. Also if you want to go anywhere you must take a taxi. Every ride into town will cost you between 20-25RM. There is a fantastic massage place next door which is truly a bargain. The hotel itself doesn't have any facilities as yet either.

Nice hotel with closed to Jonker Walk

I have been checked in on third floor for 3D2N which is superb experience for me. I got my room with private balcony, along the hall Baliness decoration is calm.

Clean room, comfy bed, noisy environment due to located nearby traffic light and night clubs. Noisy aircon and switches. Need better noisy isolation. Breakfast is ok with local food. Counter staff is friendly and helpful.

No Working wifi and bad attitudes staff

Not a good stay or the worst stay we had in Malacca all these years as it was spoilt by the hotel supervisor and front desk people. Wifi is not working and I should have taken the advises by previous Hotel.com users and feedback. When we tell the front desk supervisor and subsequent front desk staff, they gave non acceptable replies such as we are still looking into it or I am using Apple phone. But for 24 hrs...meaning till we checked out, the wifi was still not working. Never come back to this hotel again. :(

Air con water leaking

Not really happy as air cond water leaking and nearly caused my husband fall down. Night time air con quite hot, believe is due to air con leaking issue. Morning when we out for breakfast, we told the staff in charge about this air con leaking. We thought they will show their sincerely apologize to us and will offer us either one free night hotel voucher or 1 meal voucher at hotel.But they didn't. But to be honest, when we told their staff about this incident, they quite efficient to check the air con and staff keep apologize to us. Although they had sent someone for repair. But when we check out, air con still water leaking. Haha! seems like repair not very well.

Free wifi wasn't working well but room was clean and housekeeping took initiative to provide extra towels when we requested for extra bed.

1.this hotel is very new and clean. 2. However WiFi signal connection are very poor aye level 4. 3. Very nice local breakfast provide. 4.only provide outdoor car parking.

bad service from hotel

the room is fine clean n tidy. but the service is quit BAD . late check in and out process , even on the labor day only one staff who is working and need to queue for 30 minutes.. they should know on public holiday there are many guest who stayed in.. not friendly staff he dont even smile with the customer.so please improve..

3 days 2 nights

It was a great stay for 2 nights. Eventually, the rooms aren't soundproof. You can definitely hear next door talking. On the 3rd floor where we stayed, you can hear the road's sound pollution especially around Midnight. However, the rest of the facilities are going well. Parking on daytime will be a little hard to find especially during holidays.

2 nights stay

Room is great. Easy parking and breakfast is decent. Wifi is very bad.

FAR FROM TOWN . OTHERS ALL OK. STAFF AT RESTAURANT VERY HELPFUL. IF THEY HAVE SWIMING POOL WILL BE BETTER.

Overall ok but need to improve the bed size. Their King size seems like Queen size bed.

Comfortable room

Comfortable room with small family. Walkway from lift to room smell bad,should have air freshner.Parking was easy.Not satisfied with breakfast,tasteless and not much choices.

Satisfy were the location away from crowded area. Hope can get more spare of blanket whenever request by guest for extra.
