Dont waste your money here.

It was disgusting. The floor and walls were dirty. There was no plates or utensils in the kitchenette. The tub was dirty. We bought product to clean it out. The hot water "ran out" and was cold before filling the bath up. There was no air flow between rooms in the family suite. There was dried snot stuck on the door frame at a high height. We have photos of eveyrthing but the attachment link isnt allowing me to add photos.

Quiet... everything you need nothing fancy

Had to ask or extra shampoo and lotion. Used to always be readily available.

The staff here are wonderful, kind, and very helpful. The pool is probably the best in south Edmonton. The breakfast was huge with good hours and lots of options. There's plenty of great dining options close by, and it's really convenient to get in and out if you're coming from the airport or the south. The only critique is the room we stayed in was due for a bit of an update. Totally worth it for the pool and the great staff though.

Really clean pool and hot tub, clean room. Had a problem with noise from the rooms on each side of us, front desk staff quickly dealt with it and had onsite security. Stayed with young children and it was great. Good breakfast, fresh and hot.

Not the best hotel.

I stayed on the main floor. it wasn't quiet from the parking lot and the floor above. the in door heating/cooling unit wasn't working properly. I set the temperature at 20C and it runs all night. it was so hot that I had to turn it off

The hotel was great for our short stay

The shower tap didn’t work as it looks like it is striped no in between temperature hot or cold. An inch or more of water from the shower didn’t drain

Reasonable price and well organized hotel

Staff and cleanliness were 10/10. Breakfast was good. Water pressure and linen were mediocre. Pool was great, kids loved the water slide. Great price. Would stay again.

The staff was nice and friendly. The area around the property was less than desirable. There were homeless, dumbest divers, drugs and some mentally ill people. I had my kids, they didn’t notice it but I walked the dog and often and saw it all. I don’t fear for my safety but also wouldn’t stay again.

Our overall stay was great. The staff were very courteous and room was clean.a lot of attention and care was put on the reception area to keep it clean. The only complaint is the ice on the parking lot. It’s sanded, but still very icy all over.

It was quiet and on the main floor. Got to relax and warch some tv. Loys of shops in thenarea. We r a regular customer for years. We leep.comoling back all the time.

Good place to stay with kids. Hot tub and pool were quiet. Waterslide was strong and fast. Breakfast was basic grab options as well as hashbrowns and pork sausage. Close to everything we needed. Walmart, Denny’s, dollarstore ect. Easy drive to the mall and zoo. Would stay again

Run down rooms. The carpet was needing to be stretched, the charger on the lamps didn’t work and the toilet sounded like it was going to back up.

Good for a short stay

Breakfast was so so- some variety, but hashbrowns were horrible the first day. They had waffles, strawberries, yogurt, boiled eggs and cereal too. Hot chocolate was good. The coffee was not the best. Beds were comfy, pool was nice enough, but a bit cool. Waterslide was fun and hot tub was decent, yet could have been hotter.

We typically book yhis hotel for company meetings. Love the area. Can grab everything you need in the one parking lot. Room was a bit hot but outside that we always enjoy our stay

Dirty around the property, dirty pool area, rusted out pool emergency exit door! Cleaners don't do a great job in the room cleaning! Hotel is in a convenient location has a hot tub and pool with waterslide and rooms are fairly comfy!

Renovation notice was posted about the hotel, 9am to 5pm. Would not have a complaint to make if the renovations actually started at 9am and i wasnt woken every day at 8am to banging directly above me. Once renovations concluded, there were 4 families came to stay at the hotel. I have kids, theyre a handful i get it. But constantly running up and down the halls and knocking on guests doors. Nothing was done about it. Breakfast options were delightful. They have marked Veteran parking, unbelievably proud to see that at a business. Love them for that.

Great location, comfortable beds, rooms are a little tired looking.

Walls in the room was never washed or kept clean.

Out dated but comfortable

The stay was comfortable enough. Room was clean. Only complaint is they had those plug in air fresheners in the room and it was over powering. Hotel is in need of a facelift, out dated and the carpet was coming up in our room. Kids had fun in the pool. Hot tub was out for resurfacing. Breakfast was ok.

Modestly priced. Good value for money especially with the complimentary breakfast.

I really enjoy my stay. The staff was really friendly and very professional.

Clean friendly

I asked for a room close to the lobby but was all the way at the end of the hall. My Dad has difficulty walking and this was a struggle. There was a dog barking 2 rooms down all night

Pleasant place

We arrived at 3 am the clerk was friendly and efficient at checking us in as we had a long travelling day. Breakfast was hot egg, sausages and hash browns. Other stuff

Need to update. Bad odour. Remarkable staff. Your construction crew not very professional. Heard cursing and complaining in public spaces

Enjoyed our stay

The room was clean and comfortable. Had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The breakfast had lots of choices. Our only trouble was no fault of the hotel. There was something that brought lots of families with children, and some of them thought it would be a good idea to let their kids run up and down the hall screaming.

She was slow like a tortoise that was the longest check in in my life

A quick overnight with my family. A lot of activity in the foyer which made it hard to hear. Kids loved the pool tho.

I tried to stay an extra day but when I tried paying with my debit, they gave me such a hard time. I sat at front desk 20 mins, then they told me I needed a credit card (again). I had already provided a credit card when I checked in. Why can’t u just use the same credit card?? Sooo frustrating. Jacuzzi room was clean so that was good

The pool was very well maintained. I was in it every day and had zero red eyes or heavy chlorine smells.

Room was clean, quiet and comfortable.Pool and hot tub was very good. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was sub par. Juice and hot beverage selection was fine but poor selection of cereals, breads and hot cooked food was dismal. Sausages were not hot, hash brown sticks were cold and tasteless on all 3 days.Layout for condiments and food could use a makeover. The hotel overall was good but the breakfast was very disappointing.

Nice suite

We were upgraded to a king suite since the only available king room they had was pet friendly and they were saving it to those who needed it. But lucky for us, it worked out well since we loved having a kitchenette and a place to eat our takeout for our 2 nights stay. The room is also quiet so it was perfect for my wife's recovery after her surgery. The pool and hot tub are also clean. Staff are very friendly and nice.

Overall, everything was pretty Great. Staff was friendly. Breakfast had good options. Hot tub felt prickly on bottom, don’t remember it being like that before.

Comfortable Stay

We stay at this hotel often throughout the year. We have always found the location to be clean, and the service is always good. The complimentary breakfast is great for getting our day started. In most stays, the beds have been very comfortable, however I do think that the beds in the room that I stayed in this time are close to needing replacement. We also noticed that the water pressure was not as strong as it has been in the past. Overall, our stay was still comfortable, and we will be booking with Super 8 again.

Nice spacious room, although can hear walking above very easily and possibly the neighbouring room but with fan setting on in the heater/ac unit, easily can create an ambient sound to cover that. Including free breakfast is very nice, decent options. In room coffee maker is very key. Pool was okay, too bad no deep end but the slice was fun. Some rust on the ground of the slide support, hope it doesnt mix withr pool water. Overall quiet experience with many shop options near by.

Very easy online check in. Did not waste anytime on the reception, they already had my room key ready. Had a nice stay.

Had to change rooms cause room smelt like rotten feet and bed was hard and shower head barely worked and mold in corners of shower as well as dirty. Mini fridge didn’t work very well. My milk went bad. There was dog poop all the way down the hall

I go for the hot tubs ;) I love thrifting and Good Will is about a block away in the same area, and Value Village is a couple of blocks south. The hot tub is great, its lovely and on the hot side of warm, but not so hot that it takes a while to get in, or you turn red shortly, or you cant stay in because its too hot. Denny's is right next door so thats convenient...hotel is easy to access off Gateway and Calgary Trail

Enjoyable stay

The slight oddity of the bathroom design in no way inconvenienced or deterred my general use of the facilities. Having the sink outside of the bathroom is strange, and if I shared the room with a family member or friend it might then be inconvenient due to the lack of privacy. But for my stay it was not an issue.

Nice affordable accommodation

I was surprised to see security guards outside.

Lack of pillows and towels, no toiletries except small soap and you need to go to reception to get it.

The staff was accommodating, friendly, easy to talk to. The breakfast was good. The pool was a bit cold for our liking, but the kids didnt mind. Hot tub wasn't available but maybe next time. Would stay there again.

Three nights.

We spent three nights at this hotel and found our stay to be comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff were great in cleaning the breakfast area for the next guests. The hotel was quiet. We missed the hot tub as it was out of commission during our stay.

The staff was absolutely amazing and very prompt to address any concerns. Housekeeping, front desk and maintenance staff were all equally friendly and accommodating, which was very awesome. Unfortunately, the property is in BAD need of updating. I was reminded of the hotels in stayed in, in the 80's as a kid 😅 The continental breakfast had delicious sausages and hash browns and lots of different types of juices and yogurts!

Booked this place to enjoy the hot tub. But unfortunately it was packed with screaming kids from early morning until closing. Obviously this happens in hotels. Didn’t feel like paying another $100 to get a room upgrade with a jetted tub. Would be so great if hotels would have adult hour just before closing! If you can avoid staying on the 1st floor right by the lobby, I would recommend that if you want to avoid the noise of kids and ice machine etc. Other than that, nice staff. Good free breakfast. Cozy king bed. Small TV.

I loved the staff they where polite and friendly. The room we stayed it was not so great. The beds where uncomfortable, tile in bathroom felt like we would fall through the floor and the other locking mechanism in the door was very faulty. Remote was taped together so batteries wouldn’t fall out. Also I requested extra pillows did not receive them. The door to the bathroom should be replaced and the toilet everytime you flushed we thought it would over flow.

Could use a renovation

We chose this hotel because it had a room with two separate sleeping areas AND the second sleeping area had a bed, rather than a pull out sofa, like most we’ve stayed at. This was a bonus ! ! Unfortunately, that was where the good ended. We arrived to find no one at the front desk - a sign saying be back shortly - which translated into 15 min plus and a current hotel guest about to flip his lid because he’d been already waiting for who knows how long ?!? (checkout wasn’t any better. Line up was backed up to hotel entry doors) Might have let this all slide (don’t typically leave reviews) however, when we finally got to our room, the room itself smelled as though someone had just left after having a huge family dinner (definitely not western cuisine). Because it was late, and it took as long as it did to get into a room, we had little choice but to stay :( We opened doors, turned fans on, did our best to mask the odour. The A/C - fan was in back room, position mostly behind the bed, so it did very little to move any air. It would be useless to cool front room, unless it ran all day (which would mean the back room would be better fit as a fridge, than a bedroom) To top off a poor experience, complimentary breakfast was mediocre at best.

The property was clean and the staff was friendly. I found the mattresses a little hard however if you like firm mattresses that is a good thing. The breakfast was good with a variety food types. The parking lot was was nice and FREE
