Filthy and needing remodeling

This hotel was filthy and had no hot water. No breakfast and is in serious need of an update. Waste of money. Do not stay at this hotel!!

Good place to sleep, easy in and out access for the property. Stay here once a year on my way through the area

The shower curtain rod was broken and held up by one of the little shampoo bottle. The floor was sticky and unvacuumed. The room smelled musty and like cigarettes. The bedding was stained, and also and a bunch of hair under the covers. We were unable to get another room as the hotel was completely booked, as well as the other hotels in the area with firefighters.

Friendly staff, easy check in. Comfortable and clean.

Good for the price but my bathroom shower curtain had mold all over it and the removable shower head could not be adjusted to sit higher and would always slide down to the lowest position.

There was no breakfast available as advertised at the time of booking. Checkin clerk advised that they stopped serving breakfast “months ago”…..so why are they still advertising a breakfast? Very aggravating! Adds cost to the customer and saves Super 8 money. We picked this venue partially because of the advertised breakfast.

Melissa was the best to deal with at check in and was extremely helpful and understanding. Would stay again strictly for her hospitality. Good location that was easy to find and lots of parking!

The hotel is a typical chain hotel at the edge of a town. The interior is very dated and worn appearing. My room was basic but smelled of cigarettes. The front desk staff was very helpful.

Staff was nice. Bathroom had hairs in the shower. The fridge did not work. The bed was hard and old. You could hear everything in the hallway.

My room didn’t have an TV and the AC didn’t work.

The hotel was everything you would expect for a basic economy hotel. The area was clean, and I felt safe leaving my car parked out back. The mattresses and pillows were very thin and not very good quality. Outside of the beds comfort, everything was pretty basic and on par.

Another old hotel that they've tried to squeeze a little more life out of with minor face changes. Wouldn't recommend if you have other choices.

Property is pretty run down and in need of improvement. Our room had a musty smell we couldn't quite identify. Overall its ok for one night if you're in a bind.

Squeaks and mold

Everything was nice except the bathroom was moldy. All around the caulking of the tub was fuzzy mold. The handle to turn on the shower was also black with mold. Very gross. The pillows were ok but we had to request extras to make it work. The bed also squeaked really badly. Like woke all of us up Everytime our son moved. We were in room 107 and it was the bed closest to the door. The hotel staff was kind and gave us extra towels and pillows upon request. Also advertised breakfast but there was none.

There was still an old bedsheet under the couch. The room smelled terribly and the fridge was not clean. Also no breakfast was provided.

Our room door would not enfage or lock. Room 132. When we booked, there was suppose to be breakfast. Breakfast service has been canceled. Front desk had to be phoned to get personnel to the front desk . Apparently new owners but major upgrade required to book again

My room was double booked. “DO NOT DISTURB” on the door, no desk staff, and key did not work. What is more, the desk staff in the morning said that I would have to go to EXPEDIA to get the refund and Expedia has no phone number to call for a refund.

The breakfast room was closed till April!!

Front desk attendant was pleasant and efficient. The room was mostly clean, but I did find an old skittle and hair on the ground by the night stand. Rooms not very sound proof and appliances are loud. Room was very cold too with no extra blankets offered.

Don’t waste your time

Booked on Hotels.com arrived at 9pm to check in and no staff available. Had a sign posted will return at 6am. I had to book another room for higher price.

Comfortable

Comfortable but the room was incredibly hot.

Rated Just Above Roach

The property is dirty, staff largely unavailable, and hardly anything works. I absolutely do not recommend staying here.

Probably the worst motel that I’ve stayed in without something crazy happening. Was a pretty standard night, but the rooms are extremely old, the bed felt like it was made of just plywood, and the whole building smells like smoke. Really not worth the $80 I spent, probably worth more like $25. All I needed was a bed and it barely accomplished that

When we opened the curtains there was mold on the windows. Went for breakfast around 8AM, no waffle mix, no toast for the toaster, low supplies on everything One bonus, it was across from Dash Inn a good place to eat.

The room we paid for was not what we got we got a two standard queen room when I paid for a two queen with a pull out couch shown on Expedia very upset.

Couldn’t check in. No one was at the front desk and would’t answer the phone. Had to go get a room at a different hotel.

Very convenient to I-90

Bed is fine. But the floor is dirty especially in the bathroom found hair and dirt on the sidings. We only stayed for one night so no big deal.

Dried mud in stairways and common areas, not swept up for at least several hours. Air conditioner gave off a "dirty fridge" smell. Ashtrays and garbage cans at entrances overflowing. Couldn't open a window as room backed onto an alley behind a car-wash that ran all night. Screen appeared to have been pried out of frame from outside at some point. You get what you pay for though, and this was a very budget motel Despite the cleanliness issues the bed was comfortable and I got a good night's sleep for the single night I was there.

Great hotel, very clean

We booked this hotel because we wanted to be able to walk.to downtown. It was easily a mile, not .6 like the description said. So we checked in, thinking the worst. The woman didn't speak good English and couldn't answer my questions, so again, we didn't know what to expect. Room turned out to be great. Very clean and we got a corner room which gave us extra space. Loved that they didnt have carpet. Suggest updating location description is all.

Bare bones, almost.

Room had smoke smell. Clerk gave us a new room. Tv did not work. Clerk gave a new remote; still did not work. Ice machine, vending machine, juice machine all out if order. Next to nothing in breakfast lounge.No waste basket in bathroom. Faulty faucet.dirty floor under the bed. Bed comfortable and room quiet.

Disappointed

Very run down. Very limited selections for breakfast. Broken ice machine and broken vending machine. The ramp was helpful. The new check- in guy was helpful.

The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke & the ice machine was out of order. The exterior could use a broom & dust pan. Cigarette butts need to be cleaned up. Old junk car parked outside should be towed away.

Bed was nice. Poor breakfast, at least that's what they called it, and no creamer for the coffee.

The room was fine but ice machine, orange juice dispenser out of order. There was prctically no breakfast. Don't say a breakfast is included and then not provide any.

No breakfast and no staff availabe this morning

Checking in was a nightmare. No one speaking English to help with check in. No vending machines or Ice machines. Breakfast bar was very limited. Had to ask for coffee to be made. Only 4 slices of bread available for toast. No cereal or fruit. THIS WAS ONLY AT 6:30 IN THE MORNING!!. Sorry but we will not be staying at this Super 8 again!!

Very limited breakfast selections, only toast, cereal (2 types) and waffle. Juice machine not working. Booked a non smoking queen room and first given a smoking room. Have stayed at super 8s before and not impressed with condition of rooms. Very slow check in process and key machine not working. Person at front desk had to take each guest to their rooms.

Check in lady went out of her way to make us comfortable

The staff was pleasant. I gave 1 star because I wasn’t aware no front desk from Midnight to 6 a.m. until someone got locked out of their room. Room keys kept going out ( not near cell phone or other cards) The last day my nor my husband’s worked and the desk clerk was late . I tried the # on the sign and to date haven’t received a call.

Breakfast could’ve been better…area around property needs attention.

Our room smelled really bad. the bathroom had trim peeling off around the bathtub/shower, which was dirty. the AC unit was loud and turned on and off all night. woke up exhausted. this place needs to be bulldozed.

There was black mold in our room. It smelled. Worst hotel ever. Ended up leaving and going to another place.

Even though we had a prepaid reservation there was no one at the desk to check us in. According to the hotel across the street at least 5 other people had this same problem. I left a note requesting a refund. Don’t take a chance on this motel

The front desk and cleaning staff were really nice. One of our two rooms was good. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The other room smelled like an ashtray. It looked clean, but it smelled terrible

It was ok, used our free stay. They had our reservation, but "no rooms". They found us a room with 2 queens, so that was fine. Bit dated in fixtures and could have used some TLC.

The floor was dirty and so were the linen and stained. The toilet was inoperable. After complaining about it they didn’t send anybody to look at it. Included breakfast was not available, their answer was we have nothing to serve, so there is no breakfast today!!!

Our room was missing a TV remote and they couldn't find one that would work. We reserved a room with a fridge for medication and our room did not have one. Also the shower did not work. The faucet was broke and you could not turn the water on. There was no breakfast. All that was available was toast and oatmeal but there was no milk for the oatmeal. It was a horrible experience.

Stopped at hotel due to a snowstorm shutting down major thoroughfares. Clean rooms and friendly staff. No breakfast next day but not hotels fault. Truck couldn’t make it due to he road conditions.

I was charged twice, once by Expedia and once by the hotel. I was only told when I checked out, that there was a pet fee of $15 per dog ( I have 2). This should have been included when Expedia allowed me to reserve. I should be due a refund of the double charge.

Just needs a little attention by maintenance on a minor thing or two, but would definitely stay again.

They don't clean your room if your stay more than 3 days. Which is fine, but I asked to have our room clean on day 3 and they never cleaned our room. We ran out of towels and coffee so I had to go to the front desk only to see a sign that said "back in 5 minutes". Waited over 25 minutes and nobody showed. Finally got towels the next day. The AC unit was disgusting and bugs in the windows everywhere. Our light in the bathroom blew out the last night. Just a terrible experience.

We were unable to check in as we were late arriving and the front desk was closed. Called the number posted numerous times but no one answered. Had to sleep in the parking lot. Am trying to get a refund for that night but no luck yet.

I don’t care what type of bug it is….

This place was disgusting. First, I had to lug my suitcases up half a flight of stairs to get to the lobby. Then we were out in a room on the second floor. When we asked where the elevator was, we learned they didn’t have one. We proceeded to lug our suitcases up the stairs, only to get to a room that smelled and had bugs in the bed. We showed the picture to the front desk and he laughed at it being a box elder bug. I really didn’t care what kind it was… I wasn’t about to sleep with it. We were given a new room, on the first floor— so we had to haul are luggage down the stairs. The building was dirty and dilapidated, with serious odors. Not impressed.. to say the least

Friendly front desk staff. Easy acces, easy parking. Safe area. Close by restraunt and fast food. Fair price. Good comfortable room and bed.

Dont stay here

Room was dirty. We had 2 queen beds but they only left us 1 towel in the room. Tub made a huge noise while taking a shower like we were gonna fall thru. There was no elevator so we had to lug all our crap up the steps. Electricity went off thru the night for about 15 minutes.

Building rundown

Very nicely updated, clean. Everything was very nice. Would like to see breakfast area maintained better. It wasn't stocked very well. Very few if each item Juice machine was broken. There was no carton of juice to substitute for that. The milk wasn't refilled when empty, coffee wasn't refilled. Waffle batter was half water and half lumps, wasn't stirred at all. If someone would take of of breakfast everything would be perfect about the hotel.

No hot water and bathroom toilet was tricky but it’s a fine place to rest your head after a long travel day.

My elderly parents arrived near dusk and there is a curb that is not very visible. My father tripped over it and injured his knee. The staff seemed unconcerned and very unreceptive about the suggestion that it be painted for better visibility

The room was clean but disappointed with the lack of food for the continental breakfast. Ended up skipping and leaving without.

Mixed bag

I checked in rather late (10pm) & the staff was friendly and accommodating. Location & parking good. Linen was clean and the room was quiet. Sink in the bathroom was broken. Shower was great and I did everything in there . Room supposedly came with breakfast but there was only one slice of bread and some picked over boiled eggs. Everything else was broken or empty NO accommodations were made there.

Faucet in bathtub was hard to pull to get water on. Dried pee on toilet. Uncomfortable beds.

Staff when I checked in was very friendly, place very dated, outside unkept. Stated on website that they had breakfast. Next morning inquired about breakfast they said they ran out last week. Will definitely stay elsewhere next time I’m in the area.
