I liked that the property was well maintained and the room was visibly clean

Ok for the price.

Hotel needs a cleaning and is outdated. The hallways have a scent of Indian spices or as someone from India lives on the second floor

My stay n 11/22 was brief yet not short enough

I arrived after midnight (approx.12:50am) to check-in. It was weird as they asked to see my reservation on my phone, then my ID, and of course my credit card. I figure how many other are checking in at almost 1am but whatever. I am eventually sent to my room after waiting for 10-15min for them (man & woman) to check me in. Did not appear they knew what they were doing. I get to my room 319 and the key card does not work. I go back and for the three times before they open the door with the ‘master key’. At this point I am tired, went to shower, and get a nap in before my 6am flight. Finally get in the room around 1:45am. There was no hot water. I was livid. I requested to be moved and was placed in room 213. I was able to take a shower and laid down at 2:30am. I left for my flight at 4:50am. The showers have mold, bed was decent, and the pillows were like mush. I would not stay here again under any circumstance.

Upon walking into lobby there was bad smell. No one was at the counter. I waited for a while and ended up calling the hotel to get someone to assist me to check in. Got to the room. It was terrible. The beds looked dusty and curtains had mold. I was in town from DFW for concert. We ended up driving back to Dallas same night because there was no way I was sleeping there

There was a chicken running around the Gazebo in the smoking section.

1) The window was open, when we first came into the room. The outside screen was pulled open. 2) The TV does not work at all, can’t even get local channels. 3) Ceiling fan switch was broken, had to use toothpick to change the fan speed. 4) The shower handle needs a special trick to make the hot water work. It’s a 3 step process that was not explained to us, and there are no instructions in the bathroom on how to work the shower handle. 5) Overall, the room had a lot of wall damage. Needs sheetrock work and painting. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

Comfortable Stay

We had a great stay. For the price and the location, you really can't beat it. The room was clean and check in was smooth and easy. The only complaint I had was that the room and hallways had an old smoke smell. But it didn't really affect our stay. The bed was comfy and I didn't feel unsafe in or around the area at any time during my stay. If you're looking to save a buck without compromising safety or cleanliness, this may be your best bet.

Air conditioner did not work in first room. Had to be moved to another. Went to use the gym. they shoved 3 treadmills into a 10x10 room. Had to jump over 1 treadmill to get to the next. Staff was great

The first room I was booked into it was an hour and a half before the AC started working at 1:00 a.m. the AC stopped working started blowing hot air I informed the front desk and they went and checked it out 3 hours later still couldn't get it fixed so just to open up the window on the third floor and I did at 7:00 a.m. they put me in a different room where someone had taken the iron for clothes and placed it everywhere but at least the AC worked the TVs in the whole hotel is in Spanish only no English this is the first time I have ever stayed at a hotel where all the TV channels were in Spanish the vending machine did not work even though it cost a dollar and a half for a cold beverage you could buy one at the front desk for $3

Was good

I had to pass the property, go to the next exit and turn around to get to the entrance. The bed was higher than my hips and I had to roll and crawl to get on it. The mattress was like a concrete slab. Worst, in South Texas on a July night there was only a ceiling fan! No A/C! All the controls were missing!

Terrible area. Terrible people staying here. Won’t be going back.

Room walls were peeling paint and stains on baseboards, stains in tub. And the air conditioner was wet making me feel like i was never dry.

The hotel was nice. Unique that had a sauna in gym area but not much known about. Only drawback was not able to get receipt @ checkout, and never received copy by e-mail either.

Checking in the hotel

I was completely dissatisfied after applying online making a payment signing my signature and giving a copy of my driving license but when I got to the front desk actually I was told that I was going to just only get my keys once I get there because they had all the information but when I got to the front desk young lady asked me for my information again and I just thought I shouldn't have not filled out my information on computer in the first place if they're going to ask me for the information again that's what I did not like at all

Well I stayed for more than 5days and when asked for new Room Management refused and started to belittle me and treated with No respect and I gave them several chances due to AC not working very well

Oversold our room type so the downgraded our family to a very tiny room with tiny beds ..... they said to contact expedia & they did nothing their Resolution was crediting us 20 bucks towards our next booking. Would not recommend them at all!

Great stay. Great bed, more than just waffles and cereal for breakfast. Had no problems whatsoever.

Worst hotel ever

The hotel was horrible. Low water pressure in the shower and sink. The sink was blocked up. Toilet bowl hardly flushed. The hotel was hot. So the air conditioner didn't work well. The hotel halls were dirty. And the workers at the desk were so horrible. I told them about the problems with the room and never fixed it or even try to accommodate me and my wife. Horrible hotel to stay in. I will never ever stay at this hotel or any of the other branches.

Great location between Austin and airport. Breakfast was useless, no coffee and no one around to refill. The room was clean and bed comfy although beginning to show wear and tear on closer investigation

This was exactly what we needed it to be for our trip for the total solar eclipse--convenient to the airport, downtown, and all things solar eclipse. First, I'd been so stressed that we could lose our reservation, as prices kept going up as the eclipse date neared, but it turned out to be needless worry. Our reservation was perfect, everyone was so nice; especially the lady at the front desk. And I have to mention that on our last day I was wrecked to hear a man berating her for a problem with his reservation. Now I'm sympathetic to frustration with reservation problems, but he was just mean--mocking her accent (Indian), belittling, and threatening to write a "5-star tune-up" (what?!?). Anyway, regardless of whose fault it was that his reservation was messed up, I'm pretty positive it wasn't HERS and she didn't deserve to be treated that way. That must've been a hell of a weekend for EVERYONE involved in hospitality, transportation, safety, restaurant, etc., etc. Austin was swarmed by people, and she and the rest of the staff were great. Anyway, I just had to say that--so thank you Super 8!!

Never again…

Room was dirty and had bad odor. First room assigned smelled bad I asked for another. Replacement room was only marginally better. Furniture was chipped, stained, and deeply scratched. Would not consider staying again. Chose hotel because of Wyndham name. Wry disappointing.

Spacious quiet room. Very limited breakfast

My room was spacious and quiet. Well worth the price. The breakfast however, is very very limited. No fruit. No cereal. No eggs. No meat. No toast or bagels. If you don’t like waffles, you're out of luck.

Needs to be upgraded, the beds were comfortable but the hotel in general is looking a little big old. The complementary breakfast was a little sad all they had was coffee and waffles.

Some things were not in working order, but I did not bother to complain as it more a bed than anything else. Also, no tea bags anywhere to be found for us teaholics.

Overall, the hotel is fine but the service is meh.

There is a sign at the lobby that indicates no smoking in the hotel and a $500 charge if you’re caught smoking. Totally understandable. But they charge $5 more per night for a “No Smoking room.” That’s just shady, misleading, and greedy. No mention about complimentary breakfast upon check-in and when I asked if they had a piece of fruit or muffin or anything upon check after I realized in an email that breakfast was included, they said no. That’s absolutely pathetic. Your guests pay for a night stay that includes breakfast but you can’t toss them a damn thing when they realize upon checking out that a breakfast was included, and your front desk attendant failed to mention it or the breakfast hours… I don’t care. Go hungry was the message I basically received. Do better.

I chose this hotel since I’m driving through and thought to stay somewhere with the free breakfast option. There wasn’t one.

The manager who works the daytime is a completed bimbo, who has no reason being in customer service. Apart from her it's not a bad place to stay, however she is a real buzz kill

The proximity to airport and price was why I selected this property. The desk attendant said no more than two phrases to me and handed me a key. The key card scanner was broken. The room could use a good cleaning. Beds are not comfortable and one of them creaked. The fan is set to two set temperatures and could not be turned off so the room got very hot or cold, ceiling fan worked. I understand I got what I paid for, I was thankful to find a vacancy on short notice when I missed a flight, but would not stay there again.

The bed was very comfortable. However the pillows were not. Three pillow's for a King size mattress is not enough. Only two towels were provided for two people that is not enough and the towels were small need bigger size towels.

When we entered the. property it looked so beautiful. The rooms looked well kept as well. Alas, the bathroom floors were sticky and the table not wipe off and sticky. The staff who checked us in was very friendly but the women who checked is out was little rude. Also the internet was horrible. It kept disconnecting and the speed was terrible. Breakfast was fine

Power outlets in bathroom didn’t work, housekeeping threw away our personal shampoo, and just before we left pulled the sheets back and found a large blood stain

This is a budget hotel. We knew that when we booked it so It was fine. Nothing special but nothing bad either

This property seemed transient or like a lot of day labor workers were living there. It has a lot of secured doors and implied safety concerns. My room was clean but dated. I need a quick access to downtown Austin yet inexpensive room- it meet that criteria

Excellent hotel!!

Room had no security lock, low water pressure and luke warm water. Shower had moldy areas that I noticed while bathing which ended up getting in bath. (Look under shower panel on wall, its stuck in the crack.) If you are tall you will love the shower as it is super high. But if your 5ft be prepared for the water to feel cold. All in all ok for a one night stay, but wont be back in the future.

Place was mostly clean, but our bed sheets had stains and i saw a couple baby roaches in the bathroom.
