The hotel is right in front of the theme park and it is for convenient that we chose to stay at this place. Beside that, there seem to be no other reasons. We expect the hotel room to be cleaner as what it should look from the outside.

near Lost World of Tambun, had to walk across. No in-room dining after 9:30PM. Smoking smell in non-smoking floor.

Me and my family had a great stay in Sunway Lost World Hotel last week. Hotel is nice with great hospitality and it's convenient for us to drive down the town for food. My kid and wife had a wonderful time soaking in the hot spring spa. Will come back again for sure.

Pleasantly comfortable stay and the breakfast had an awesome spread of many Malaysian favourite delicacies.

Lost World Concept is good but bed sheet was blackist in colour and dirty. We stayed on 1x night and forgot the 2nd night.

Average hotel with very good staff.

A must visit site. The water park and attractions are world class, and clean. Many exhibits in the petting zoo are not commonly found even in many well known zoos. As for the property itself, some minor maintenance work will help to improve it more. The breakfast could be located within the property instead of having guests having to walk 100m (would be challenging when it pours). A fitness facility would also be a great addition. The room safe does not have backlighting, so in the darkened area, it is very hard to see what's being keyed into the keypad. TV displays could be bigger. Staff is great - friendly and helpful

Returning here after about 4 years. The hotel room and staff are as usual. They are awesome, quick, and attentive. Had a wonderful time in NightPark as well. They increased the number of food options inside the park and prices are reasonable too. I hope Sunway Team can give more attention to the children's pool maintenance. I found the stairs are rusted and most of the slide's paint peeled off and lost the smoothness.

Just need to maintain ( regular check up & repair ) all item in the room. Don’t just trust non Malaysian workers there. My bathroom that time I found cockroach & small non dangerous insects. I’m not upset but that is my opinion. I’m not vip customer but can say frequent customer. My family just love lost world hotel. Been there every now & then. Also the price is to much for family room. Sorry for my harsh words 🙏. I’m not willing to be call for this thing. Thank you ..

Excellent hotel just directly at the Lost World Theme Park. We stayed for 2 nights. It was just so convenient to walk over to the theme park and back after playing on the rides and water areas. The breakfast area is over at the theme park entrance as well and that was really convenient. Breakfast was ok, although it could have been better with more variety etc. The toaster machine was rather slow and a long queue started to form. They could have just left the hardboiled eggs in a tray for guests to pick up, rather than having us to wait to ask the staff for it as they were so busy cooking the eggs. Another grouse was that there wasn't any sheltered linkway from the hotel to the theme park as it was raining on one of the days that we were there and we had to run back to the hotel in the rain. The service was excellent and the staffs were so helpful and friendly to the guests. There is a MacDonald's nearby that had recently started operating 24 hrs. It was good as there wasn't any eateries inside the theme park after 9pm and the last order at the hotel was 1030pm. Had placed a RM200 deposit using my (prepaid) Youtrip card. And the money was locked in. Had to wait till 7 days before they released the money and I could use the RM200 which my trip was over by then. Was a bummer as I didn't have much cash on me and the Youtrip card was my only source of funds (apart from CC). My advice would be to just use a RM100 cash deposit or a dormant credit card for the deposit.

The property is near to the theme park. TV is old and remote control was low battery. Very inconvenient as only one side with two lifts to rooms. Breakfast choice was limited, no salad bar, roti canai, choice of bread also limited. Not value for money.

Only shower and sleep

The property itself is quite good, and just across from the theme park. What surprised us, as we checked in at 7 pm or so, there were no restaurants on prem or anywhere walkable distance. No room service either. We were told to 'Grab'. The hotel is basically a place to shower and sleep after the activities at the park.

The add on of hotspring is good indeed. Room was average.

SHAMED please improve you food and beverage

We went there for our 3rd anniversary Thanks for the room upgrade. Breakfast Was very very poor. Not international standard at all. I can’t Imagine how other people think about this issues. I askaed for hard boil eggs... they said is not available...And we don’t serve here. I said just boil water n put the egg. 10 min is ready. Answer is no. No yogurt no salads for breakfast...no low fat milk...No pastry’s all... Breakfast spread super low quality Station 1 sausage , baked bean, hash browns Station 2 eggs counter very poor selection Station 3 curry noodles Station 4 fried noodles Station 5 coffee /tea /milk / water and watermelon juice. 3 type of Cereal, white bread , wholemeal butter n jam. Super low cost breakfast. What is The EXECUTIVE CHEF Role here? I’m super ashamed with this breakfast in this property. I didn’t aspect that this will ruin my stay.

thanks for the fast service and response from the front office and engineering guy to change my room as my room airconditioning was not working (it was pretty warm) after coming back from the park. breakfast was great. will definitely be coming back again. Thank you! :)

Overall, my partner and I had a wonderful stay at the resort. All the staff were so courteous and approachable. We had an issue with the aircon and immediately we were upgraded to deluxe room and the staff were so apologetic. When we checked out we were given a token of appreciation from the manager too. Great resort and an excellent amusement park. Even their breakfast buffet was commendable. Truly a great place especially for families with children to take a vacation. 👍👍

I like the complimentary hot spring tickets for 2 pax per night. Walking distance to the lost world of tambun, very convenient. However, the breakfast is below the expectation.

Everything are okay and just nice, we are happy with our holiday trip for this time at Lost World Hotel. 😘😘

Enjoyable Stay at the theme park hotel

Overall was very good, hotel room was clean and quiet. Hotel is located just opposite the theme park. The only downside was there wasn't enough place for food around, except those in the theme park itself. The breakfast provided was a little dissatisfying: limited options, taste just ok. The food within the theme park seems to do better than what's served in the breakfast place.

I just didn’t like the fact that we have to walk very far for breakfast and the breakfast has not that many choice.

I took room + Night park Access Ticket package and it's really worth the price. Had an awesome time in the night park. Rooms are clean and the amenities are great. A special thanks for the reception team to make our check-in and check-out process as smooth as possible. Friendly and very helpful. Not forgetting housekeeping guy who makes us really welcome and really speed in delivering our request.

Really had bad experience during my stay!!! Overpriced compare to the services they offer. (I was told that it’s hotel policy, they don’t clean our dirty mugs & didn’t do our bed??) However the manager came to apologised.. Not recommended unless u don’t mind dirty room.

Great place for family

My all time favorite hotel and hot springs. Good security, a place with great fun and exciting activities with clean and comfortable beds.

The hot water for the shower does not work properly. We had to use warm water instead. When we requested for sugar, our request was not entertained at all.

Both check-in and check-out took a long 15 mins! Longer waiting time once there were others in line! Inefficient in that area. Otherwise, all good!

Family suite is just above PappaRich restaurant, convenient to get food if you don't feel like driving out. The stay would be excellent if there's a covered walkway between the hotel and theme park. Breakfast is at the garden terrace which is at the theme park's side.

Best hotel ever

My family having enjoyable weekend staying in Lost world hotel.

They have the rooms renovated and overall it is cleaner than last time I had visited in 2017. The room looks more brigthful and lively. More water play areas are coming soon which we hope to see them in our next visit. However, as we are vegetarian and there not many choices available for us to choose either in breakfast provided by hotel and food in lost world. Perhaps , you can think about it to make at least one or two dishes with indication that it's vegetarian. .no onion and garlic and eggs. Hope to see this improvement in future and in our next visit.

Price is overrated. The buffet breakfast is quite limited & clealiness at the buffet area needs to be improved.

Friendlyand helpful. There are security guard guarding u ( stop the on coming vehicle ) when ucross the traffic light to The Lost World.

Friendly staff & traffic control staff. Room is clean but sound proof very poor. Complementary 2 tickets for hot springs is really worth. Will book again if going ipoh.

Stay with hotspring facility

We love to stay here for our anniversaries as we love the hotspring. Room is very spacious. Nasi lemak with fried anchovies for breakfast would be lovely. The temperature of the hot shower in the room is below our expectation. Some unpleasant guests came from other planet with cow brain do not know how to close the door properly. Was so so annoying with the banging noise and the wall vibrate when we were sleeping. Probably staff need to remind all guest before they stay though it is a basic mannerism and common sense. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Immediate action been made after notify some issues. Overall this is a good hotel.

Does not meet expectation for the price charged.

The room is spacious and can easily fit 4. However, for the price paid, the facilities are not up to par. There were some work done in the bathroom (tiling and grouting) and splatters were left on the wall tiles. The worst was the lack of hot water supply. The reason given was that the hot water was centralised and because the room was the furthest away, there was insufficient water pressure. This is unacceptable for the price we paid for the room. Overall, a disappointing experience and will not return.

-VE Requested for the TV remote controller battery change - housekeeping did not come. Requested for an iron - housekeeping did not come. Got a wood splinter into my palm from the room door. Breakfast is at another building - entrance of the park (which was not communicated to me during check in). Floors are tiles. Long walk to the lobby from room. +VE Room is clean. Very near to theme park. Fast check in. Close to a McDonald's. Pappa Rich in the same building. Very quick check-out. 3 storey hotel - short elevator rides.

Overpriced, can only be considered for 3.5 star hotel

We checked in during a heavy down pour and was given a room at 2nd floor. Not even 10 mins in the room, we noticed water seaping in from somewhere. It was our first experience of a hotel room being flooded. The only redeeming part was that the lady at the reception was quick to respond and brought us to a new room. Facilities wise, it's very basic. Not value for money except it is accessible to the theme park.

Though weather is hot but enjoyed activities at Lost World and loved the massage spa.

If going to theme park , best to stay here. Also good value for money as hotel provides discount to the park and free entry to night park. Only drawback is there is no room service for food and also there is nothing outside theme park.

It was good stay, efficient check in and check out. However we didn't get type of bed we requested. It is understodd first come first serve. Excellent front line staff.

Nice place, very enjoyable kids so love swimming but not enough coz swim at night only. Will come again for second time and stay longer.

Overall is nice in term of services, cleanliness, facilities, however the system at the theme park is some how out of control, maybe due to crowded. Besides, there is not much option on outside food, probably need some famous local food nearby the hotel but inside the theme park.

Only choice if you want to stay near Theme Park

Very basic room and the soundproofing was very poor. 1 of my room air-con was not work properly but the staff deal with fast response. It provides free ticket to hot spring at night and discount for purchase of extra entrance ticket.
