Was gracious enough to offer a discount when my room wasn't ready for check in.

The only thing i didn’t like about this stay was that the room was DEFINITELY not cleaned. Dried food on the drawer pulls, fridge handle, and a boat load of dust and food in the corners of the room. I cleaned it before I could sleep. Other than that it was great. No restaurant.

Lobby is beautiful amd my room was very spacious and clean. Parling is limited near the building I stayed in. I arrived in the evening and it was a challenge to find parking and then to locate my room. Improved signage would help. Wifi connection is lousy. Shower was fantastic. Id recommend this place, but be sure to arrive during daylight

Great place to stay!

Room felt like a small dark walk out basement suit on a parking lot with garbage bins as the view. Not private, shared entry , idling diesel trucks, and not restful at all unfortunately. Missed my expectations. A table to eat at (to go with the one chair) in the kitchenette was missing. Room was not ready on arrival and waited in the lobby for 1/2 hour without the hospitality or apologies from front desk.

After what i thought was going to be an awkward start turned into a fantastic two week stash with complimentary upgrades to a suite. The staff were attentive and helpful at all times and i really could not have wished for a better place to stay. I will go back.

I loved my stay!

a nice little getaway- we had a studio so not very big so for a couple days it was great, but for a longer stay I would suggest a bigger space. The property was in excellent shape with snow cleared on all the walkways. trail to beach had some snow/ice but the 3 foot drop to the beach may need attention for anyone with any mobility issues. Quiet time was adhered to by other residents. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful little get away

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bathroom had some ceiling damage inside the shower. Overall it was good.

Nice place, rooms were nice and clean, comfortable but a little noisy from the shared entry and doors opening and closing. Overall great place for the price.

Had a problem with checking in and the room when we first checked in. However after talking with Katy who was front desk supervisor we were upgraded to a suite! It was my birthday so just added to the day. I would recommend this resort to anyone, you will come back!

Very quiet nice hot tub and gym very easy free parking the bed was very comfortable In the shower was very powerful and nice. The only downside I had was the sink in the bathroom was so small that you couldn't wash your hands in it

More lighting around property especially buildings numbered should be way more visible..ie: glow numbering etc. Heating system was very cold for the studio suite for the cold winter nite that I stayed. When addressing concerns I wasn’t given another room, only told it would be fixed in the morning.

What a property layout! Exceeded expectations. Looked for a deal in the winter, and got one! Loved it!

The room was small which was fine but couldn't believe how hot the room was. Was surprised we needed air conditioning in winter. We did not use any of the amenities but we did take a walk around and they all seemed quite nice.

No window, very dark suite

Even if the room was clean there was absolutely no window in the suite, was very dark, so was able to indicate very is a body wash and where is a shampoo. There was no place to work with a laptop, bed only.

Amazing place, close to the ocean. Outdoor hot tub. Best part was the massive outdoor wood burning fire place.

Great place to stay.

Checkin was great, property looked nice but our room was like a sauna. The heat was shutoff but bathroom floor still warm from radiant heat. Tried to sleep with portable AC on but too loud.

Beautiful, quiet and clean with a fully equipped kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. I would suggest leaving a few dishwasher tablets for guests as well as having a standard later check-out time as 10:00 is very early compared to most resorts.

Great townhomes

The townhomes are amazing for a family stay!

The suites, 1brs and townhouses are excellent. The studios without view are in the dark in the back. They overheat even in October and the space is poorly laid out. The only closet is in the bathroom. OK for a single traveller I suppose.

Everything is beyond our expectations, I love the ocean view outside our townhouse, my family had a great time there.

Very cozy place to stay

My friend and i had a lovely stay. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Our suite was beautiful, clean, and the beds were so comfortable to sleep on. The front desk staff were very friendly. I definitely would stay here again.

Great location

Quiet, new, comfortable, well designed. Found a few dog hair from previous tenant and the heat pump was occasionally noisy in the night's deaf quiet. (Just to write something wrong - none of it was really disturbing.)

Almost perfect but some hiccups

We stayed in a beautiful 2-BR condo with a sliver of water view. The condo feels new with lovely finishing and tall ceilings. You need a car to get to restaurants because there are none on-site, but you have a full kitchen for cooking if you bring/buy your food supplies. A major downside for us was the bed in the master bedroom. While it was very comfortable, it had definite indents on each side (as in it no longer "bounced back") and more of an issue was that it sloped downward toward the head - enough of an angle to feel like you were sleeping with your feet up. We stayed three nights and put up with it because I did not want the hassle of moving. The other bedroom also had a very comfortable bed that my mother said was "perfect". Each condo has wifi, which is nice. It was supposed to be password protected but ours was seemingly the only one that was not secure. And because it was not secure, I was unable to work on that network. I did ask for the wifi to be re-set, and was told the maintenance person would be around in about a half hour, but no one came. When I went back to the front desk a few hours later, the attendant gave me access to the Sunrise network (THANK YOU!!!!), which allowed me to work although the signal was not always good from our condo. All in all, it was a beautiful place to stay. Those two issues were small but quite impactful especially since I planned to work from the condo one day. If that is sorted out, it will be perfection.

Check in was a bit difficult. Woman at front desk said she would call us when room was ready. She never called.

Our weeklong stay using 3 separate townhomes at once was fantastic Staff super friendly Would definitely stay again!!

Lots of complaints but also some good things

The room was nice. Great bathroom/shower. Coffee was delicious. Property and Room amenities were nice. Beach access and beach was not good. There is a drop off at the end of the trail which would make access difficult for some. The beach is not Sandy. Our room location was very disappointing. Two rooms were attached by a communal entrance way. The doors have a gap at the bottom so there it is not sound proof between the rooms. Our balcony doors opened up into the stairwell rather than a balcony which was noisy and not private. In the morning, the room service cart was rolled around in the stairwell which sounded like an earthquake. Air conditioner was really noisy. When booking the room, none of this was communicated in the description. The value versus staying somewhere else for a bit more was not worth it.

We had a great time at the resort loved all the amenities. Only disappointment is the gym .

The 2 bedroom studio suite is beautiful. Amazing stay. With stunning views. Mark at the front desk is super friendly and helpful.

There are many option for lodging in this area. This resort is unfortunately understaffed. I called and asked for fresh towels - nobody showed up. I called again in the morning and the poor girl at the front desk told me I would have to wait until 8:30. I told her I needed to get to the ferry - she said she would have to lock up to bring me towels. I needed access to laundry for my trip… and the place came with a one load laundry soap package. On the second night I asked for more and I was told they were out. Was it completely awful? No it wasn’t - but there are enough other places in the area that I won’t stay there again. I think they just need to dial it up a bit.

Bad front door

The place was very nice. I have stayed 4 times now. But this time the front door was atrocious, took forever to get in and out. Very annoying

Room way too hot!

We got to the room and despite the thermostat being down, the room was 80 degrees and smelled like a sauna. We called the front desk, and they said they had a resort wide boiler malfunction they were fixing; the previous day they had no heat. This was not communicated to us at check in, either online or picking up the room key. They offered an equivalent room but it was likely to be no different, or pay for an upgrade to a bigger unit that might be somewhat better. We declined, hoping things would cool down, but it only did by leaving the one opening window open and by leaving the air condioning on full, which was so noisy it was hard to hear the TV and difficult to get a restful sleep. Hoping for at least a partial refund

It was WAY TOO hot and no window, no view, could not sleep in that heat, no vent , no control , shower was broken ,noisy, not good at all....only hot tub was good and front desk person....

The check in person needs to learn customer service skills. The room was filthy-I am still waiting for an email from the woman that checked us out for conformation of our discount.

Very clean fun family friendly place.

I enjoyed here but as I was only staying one night a 4pm check in to me is extremely late, with pool facilities and an early start the next day 4pm doesn't allow any time to enjoy being there.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Check in was fine. Went to our room to find it was a tiny dark little room with no windows other than a little sliver of one that looked out to the parking lot. Tried to phone the front desk but the phone didn't work. When looking to see if it was plugged in, found an empty chip bag beside the bed. The air conditioner unit was a portable one right beside the head of the bed. Went back to reception and Mark helped us get a new room which was upgraded to a junior suite which was much better other than the fact it didn't have a/c which made it extremely hot. Mark came to our rescue again and brought a fan which helped a little. We were under the impression that it was beachfront where we could sit and relax. That wasn't the case. It was nice to sit by the pool after a couple of days of travelling. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely hard which made it impossible to get a good sleep. So glad we only were booked in for one night. Certainly wasn't what we were expecting.

Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort was the best value I have had in a hotel in a long time. For a very affordable price, I had a beautiful room that was clean and modern, and included good hotel shared amenities (pool/hot tub). Additionally the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend, and will go back.

Room was clean and modern. Lighting was very poor in the bathroom, difficult to put on makeup etc. No room service on second day, room not cleaned. Shower was missing a the door, unless the intention was to get water all over the floor.

Weird room design, zero noise insulation

Room had zero noise insulation. Felt like people next door were in our room. Massive gap under main door added to the noise from next door. Window and side door onto the outdoor hallway was also noisy and lacked privacy. Room had no temperature control so we had to have the portable AC on all night, which was also noisy. Not a great night. Modern clean room was only positive

Mixed feelings

I stayed at this property as a business traveller. They texted me the day of check in and if I wanted to check in early, it would cost me $50 however early checkin wasn’t available. Check in was 4pm. I arrived at 3:30 to be told my room wasn’t ready. I was tired from previous travel and said I would wait in the lounge u tip it was ready. I was never notified that my room was ready. At 4:15, a different employee was working the front desk and I asked it my room was ready and she said all rooms were ready. I picked this property because of the price and because of the gym and hot tub.Gym was subpar but the hot tub was nice. Nowhere onsite to get food or coffee to go, not even to go cups in the room. Nice that there was a small kitchenette with a couple of dishes. My room was overly hot. It was snowing during my stay but I had the heat off and the window open. One day was more hot than the rest and I asked what was going on. I was told the boiler was having issues.

It was a nice place ! Very tiny. And walks very thin but other then that good stay

The place is nice, but the fact that we pay a lot and there is no coffee or teas or extra towels or blankets was bothersome. We had to go to gym to get ice. It’s still a great place to stay but the price is high for the quality.

The resort is quiet and comfortble. Just one advice. Could you add two chairs or sofa inside the room in winter seasons because no seating area to have a drink or eating something in the queen bed studio room.
