Very walkable to Sophia Hagia & Topkapi. Location was very quaint in old part of town. Free breakfast. We took advantage of the Spa on premises which was marvelous. Staff was helpful.

Everything from photos is the same like in reality. Everything was very clean, staff was very competent, we got all answers that we needed. Breakfast was amazing in the near restaurant.

The property was really close to Grand Bazaar, we love the staff, very friendly and ready to help us with everything, they had accommodated for us the Bosphorus tour as well as the rides to and from the airport.

Great staff and central location

To say the rooms are compact is an understatement. We felt we were in a crewship. Barely room to walk around the bed and a bathroom so tiny we had to open the door all the way and walk in to have room to close the door. The staff was the best part of this hotel; always helpful a d attentive. Also location since we were able to walk to several places of interest within 15 minutes

In the room the air was broken , and im reported to the staff at front desk to fix and don't do it nothing, let me with out air conditioner until the night before we check out, room very hot, no ice in the Hotel.

Awesome araff and Hotel

Our room was thru a dirty garbage filled alley in a tiny Basement room that boy even our suitcases fit with the stench of sewage .. more like a dungeon with steep narrow stairs access. We checked out and moved to another hotel . Stay away from this dump. The rating and reviews are phony. Still waiting on refund

Great Service

Good location, unless walking is a problem(hilly). Near the famous attractions in the old city, lots of restaurants but a more expensive area obviously because of the tourists. You also get harassed quite a lot in the area by vendors desperate for you to spend some money. Room was as described, good shower, decent bed and good pillows. Air conditioning worked well, tea and coffee facilities were a bonus. Stay didn't start well with lots of hairs on the bedding. However service and help were great. All issues were resolved, staff were friendly throughout and made you feel welcome and ultimately we enjoyed our stay. For a 3 star hotel we were satisfied. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were happy to make omelettes for you. I would say however for a longer stay you could do with a little more variety as it soon became a bit repetitive. Lot's of cats everywhere and very popular in Istanbul so be wary if you don't like them although I do. Very good stay overall.

Hotel located near to the SultanAhmet square only 2-3 minutes walk. Breakfast area accros the Street which is really very reach 😊 We use steam room and sauna free with special request 😊

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and the staff could not be more accommodating, they go out of their way to help you with anything you need and make your stay as comfortable & enjoyable as possible, especially Ali at the front desk. The hotel is Close to major attractions and Tramway. The spa was amazing. Make sure you don’t miss it, you will get a discount if you are a hotel resident. Breakfast was very good with generous portions. I highly recommend this hotel. I will happily be back next time I visit Istanbul.

I really enjoyed the spa experience I booked. However, hotel experience was poor. The rooms we were in were stuffy and small. We weren't provided a safe as promised. The shower head wasn't working and we had to use the tap to shower which was extremely difficult. The sink in the bathroom was extremely small and a shelf right above it made it difficult to do simple things like wash your face. Also, chocolates in our room went missing twice after cleaners had been in the room. Staff were helpful but wouldn't recommend this place nor would I return.

Staff very friendly and willing to help at all time. Walkable distance to town and shopping. Loved the Turkish breakfast. 5 star all the way!!!

Can't comment on the typical hotel room because we booked an Annex room which is located 100 meters from the main building. That room was rather small, which we were aware of. We weren't ready, though, for a room so close to the Annex' main entry door. Very noisy. Breakfast, served (not buffet) in the restaurant outside hotel, was very eclectic and satisfying.

Great customer service and very hospitable

The annexe part of hotel is not fit for purpose. Be careful. 1st night we put in a basement room next to the buildings boiler room.So very noisy-diffvult night to sleep. I booked a room with a city view. We looked up to car wheel arches from our very small wiindow.towels paper thin and duvet was a double put on a queen. 2nd night put in a room on 1st floor right next to the front door of building. The door is not insulated- each entry and exit was loud and noisy. And we heard each time upstsirs room flushed their toilet or used their shower. No chairs in the room to sit.No spoons to use to make hot drinks but after looking inside kettle it wasn't worth it. No fire exit information in room and right outside the annexe building cars tightly squeezed up close which makes entry and exit to annexe building diffcult and a risk if needed to leave building. The hotel recommended a dinner cruise using a leaflet which they had it was NOT what we got when we turned up to boat. I felt we were misled The positives was the perfect location for the 3 day city visit-walking distance to The Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia,Blue mosque,Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace. The amazing food and the friendliness of the people for that i was grateful. I wish I had stayed in the main hotel i persumed the annexe building would have been similiar. Istanbul experience was still amazing.The accomadtion and cruise were disappointing. The hotel gifted us a table cloth each-thank you.

I had a terrible experience staying at this so-called hotel. I had booked a large room with one double bed and one single bed, but when we arrived, we were told that all the rooms were booked and were given cheap rooms in a nearby building. The conditions were not up to par with what we had expected. I feel that Expedia should not continue to promote these types of hotels on their website.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Sultan Suleyman Hotel and Spa. The staffs were so friendly and kind. They were very accommodating helpful. The breakfast service was also so great. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were also very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there mostly because of the friendly staff and great food. The rooms were very, very small but the location was great walkable and overall very nice. So thank you Sultan Suleyman staff!!!
