Valentine’s Weekend Stay
This hotel is in a great location - convenient to everything and surrounded by wonderful eateries. Our suite was comfortable, for the most part, but the couch was more like a bed with lots of pillows and not too good for just sitting. The kitchenette was adequate for breakfasts, which is all we needed, but there were no dish towels to dry the dishes. There was no place to eat except the couch (no table and chairs). The refrigerator did not have a freezer so I could not reference my ice packs. The windows were not soundproof at all, so the noise from the bars downstairs continued well into the early morning hours (like 4:00 AM!) The bed was comfy, the room was clean, the staff were so gracious and helpful. If we go back, I would bring earplugs.
Loved this hotel. Great location and room was perfect.
Nice larg clean very helpful staff price is good
Its a 3 star hotel
Some unusual quirks
This is a very nice hotel. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The lobby area is extremely small and there really is no conveniences in the lobby. Nowhere to really sit restrooms, etc. We did have a lovely room, which was a sweet lots of places to hang clothes and Drawers to put other items in. We were a little concerned, we were given one key to open the room door. Once inside the room, you cannot exit the room without the key. The key was a bit con Omi, and difficult to get the trick to get the door open. Our concern was in an emergency in the middle of the night trying to find the key to get out of that room to us seem like a safety issue. Also, if one person leaves the room, the other person is locked in the room and cannot leave because you cannot open the door from the inside we have never seen anything like this. The only other downside was no coffee maker in the room and the coffee in the lobby you were charged for and there was no milk available the day we were there. This is a conveniently located hotel, and if none of these issues bother you, I would highly recommend that you stay here.
Very clean and friendly staff
Excellent location to walk to most of the attractions. Front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful. Lobby area could be a lot a lot better. Suite was a good size.
From location to comfort, this small hotel was a joy to stay in. They have the peculiar service that breakfast is always served to your room, and although standard on what you get, we couldn't be happier with our food. Beds were great! If you do have a light sleep, ask to be placed in the higher flloors, since noise from the many bars and restaurants can be heard late at night. Would definitely stay here again.
The property was nicely put together and the front staff was amazing! However the property itself was decent. Not sure if worth the price but it was decent However, my main complaint was no hot water. I don’t understand how the hot water is limited??? I tried to shower after my wife and the water was freezing. I tried calling the front desk but there was no way to contact them. So I went downstairs and asked how to turn on the hot water and was informed there is a limited amount and I would have to wait for the hot water to return. He said around 30 mins. I waited two hours and it was still freezing water. Decided to shower regardless. Woke up the next morning and the water was still freezing. Besides the water issue the actual stay was decent. However, that is a major issue to have and one that would prevent me from returning
Fantastic location, party late and you’ll be fine.
What a difference a room makes. I stayed in a different suite for the 2 nights prior, but when I extended I had to change rooms. The second room was an attic suite. Everything was good, except there was not any sound barriers from the loud Friday night crowds in the restaurant below. The first suite had double windows, and it was very quiet. This one, not at all. I was only able to sleep about 2 hours. The hotel is in a great location, but this attic room needs help.
Great location, spacious room
The great location, along with the very spacious suites at reasonable prices make this a comfortable stay in a beautiful city. The beds were comfortable and I slept well.
Close to everything. Such al deal
Very large room with separate living room and large double doors going into the bedroom. My room had three separate balconies. Best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time…. Well maintained building.
Great place!
Great location, quiet street, accessible to all major museums and plazas. The room was large, clean and comfortable and the staff were very accomodating. Would definitely stay here again.
I always stay here because I love it
Great place to stay. The apartment rentals are spacious and modern!
Our room was large but breakfast option is poor. Just bread, coffee and some fruit. They bring it to your room. Will likely not stay again. Staff were amazing
Great hotel large room with many dining and drinking options nearby. Staff was helpful and friendly. Coffee shop next food and bar below- but Quiet and safe, 1 mile walk from /Atocha train station.
We loved the place and will definitely come back! Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are good
Right in. The middle of everything
Brilliant location. Lively neighbourhood that disappears as soon as you close the windows. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
Its off the beaten path but only about a five minute walk from Gran Via. The room was clean and fairly big with living, sleeping and kitchen. Only drawback is the room used a key which i haven't seen in years. It was difficult to open and close door until i got the hang of it.
The property is dated but the proximity to everything is great!
Very spacious and comfortable accommodations. Excellent, friendly staff. More nighttime noise than previous stays, could be heard in room.
Excelente atención y buena limpieza
Good Hotel
Good location. Friendly and highly capable staff.
The accomodation appeared to be a renovated old building. The "original?" staircase was badly work and even which without care could be dangerous in my opinion. The lighting in the room was only controlled by a Power Card at the door or at each Lamp. The room fely more like business accomodation rather than luxury. AND THE NOISE FROM SURROUNDING BARS WAS VERY VERY LOUD WAY PAST 1.30AM!! I would not recomend this accomodation for luxury or a good nights sleep.
Very nice to stay
Incredible staff to assist with many aspects of the bookings. Great location and hotel!
Suite Prado
Suite Prado is centrally located near all the tourist sites. The neighborhood has excellent restaurants and we enjoyed it very much. The staff is helpful and we loved their recommendation for breakfast/brunch ale Rollerie just down the street.
Suite Prado is a small and lovely hotel close to many restaurants (Spanish, Chinese, Mexican, Argentinian, Peruvian), cafes, plazas (squares) and places of interest. Staff were warm, friendly and very helpful, whether for information about the hotel or places to see and directions. Our room was well-appointed and surprisingly spacious: separate bedroom (comfy bed), and living room with a small kitchenette. We had a choice of three French balconies from which to view the street and activity. I would certainly stay at Suite Prado again and recommend it to all my friends. A lovely place. Our stay was Sept 20 to 23, 2023.
El hotel está muy bien ubicado , la habitación tiene bien espacio , cocina y refrigerador. También bien equipada con jugos , agua y bebidas 🍷.
The photos are very glamorous but the room was very sparse. The bed is super.
Our room was very spacious that featured a kitchen, and a living room. The bathroom was also spacious. Excellent location. Walking distance to Prado Museum and other Museums, parks, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and many others. International restaurants featuring foodsfrom Argentina, Peru, Mexico, India, China, Istanbul Japan.
Be careful!
I was appalled when I saw the kitchen you provided. It was not only disappointing but also broken. I immediately asked the concierge to change the room, but to my dismay, the next one I was given was reeked of cigarette smoke, making it utterly disgusting. I fail to understand how you can advertise this as a 4-star hotel and rent out such substandard rooms. Subsequently, I approached the concierge again, only to be assigned a third room in terrible condition. The carpet was dirty and malodorous, and the kitchen appeared to have been neglected in cleaning. A 4-star hotel, really?! Finally, I was given a fourth room, which was marginally better but still unclean and appeared as though it had not been properly tidied. The bed was appalling, and the bed linens were visibly dirty. This is a blatant misrepresentation of a 4-star hotel! I have attached photographs as evidence of the dismal conditions I encountered during my stay. I fully expect a full refund due to this false advertising, which can only be described as a scam targeting your customers. It is my hope that other potential customers will not fall victim to being cheated and deceived, just as I was with this 2-star hotel posing as a 4-star establishment. Lastly, I cannot comprehend why the person at the reception did not provide me with the standard of service expected from a 4-star hotel.
Suite Prado hotel the best in Madrid
Perfect location in the center close to every point in short walk. Great team and excellent service. We had great time and will book this hotel. We highly recomend this hotel
Great location and wonderful service by staff. Very clean with a small kitchenette good for small families staying for a few days.
Very clean rooms, excellent location
Area around hotel is very walkable and plenty of dinning options. Hotel staff not very friendly. Hotel beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Did not like having to return key every time you left the hotel and request it upon arrival.door locking mechanism is cumbersome.
Very Happy
Very nice hotel well situated near museums, good restaurants and other main attractions in Madrid. Rooms are very large and comfortable.
Great hotel, very clean and well located.
?
Good hotel
Excellent room and service for a hotel in the area. Difficult accesibility but possible
Amazing suite and location
Our stay at Suite Prado was amazing. The best part of it was the location - everything is within a 20 minute walk, lots of food options nearby. Sol station was a 5/10 min walk, and was extremely well connected to all lines The 1 bedroom suite itself was huge! Enough room for 4/5 people. It had a small kitchenette and mini fridge that worked great for us. Cleanliness and Service were top notch. We would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling with kids and looking for a place thats close to most places of interest or food options.
Great location
Pleasant hotel in great location. Had issues with hot water.
.
Great location. Great staff. Rooms are very simple
This is an incredibly well-located hotel. Restaurants, bars, museums, all near by. The staff is very helpful, nice, easy to talk to. I would go back to this place any time.
We traveled with other 2 families and we all Loved the hotel and location.
Good location and large rooms. Staff were friendly. Slightly dated interior
The staff is exceedingly helpful!! The hotel is nicely & centrally located with many places to around to eat. Able to walk to many sites. Inside the hotel however the furniture can really use an update. Very, very old & worn out. Their Wi-Fi is terrible! With no English-speaking channels on the TV and bad Wi-Fi it it left no chance for English-speaking people to get entertainment.
In a previous review, due to a misunderstanding, I gave a bad review. This is in fact a great hotel, the attention one get from the hosts is excellent. I have been staying in this hotel for several years in a row, each time I go to Madrid. I can only recommend it. Well located, great hosts, and the rooms are clean, as silent as they can be in that area of Madrid.
Hotel is nice and clean. Furniture is a little dated but overall a very good experience. I also noticed how quiet the room was. No outside noise or anything from other guests. The location was perfect. I don't think it gets any better than this.
It was very loud, hotel staff started cleaning very early and was talking extremely loud. One of our guests had birthday during the trip, it totally was ignored by hotel staff.
Great location
Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, spacious rooms, nice breakfast.
Too Class
Top class hotel in a great location. Rooms are a very high standard.
Always a great place to stay at- comfort, location and staff
not 4*
the hotel is okay - but not 4* as the rating suggests - the wifi doesn't work and the room didn't even have a working television. the staff showed no desire to solve any of the issues either
Staff very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable.
Lovely hotel and friendly staff
We had an amazing stay at Suite Prado Hotel. The rooms are set up like small apartments. There is a small kitchen with utensils and a refrigerator. There is a double bed in the main room and a pull out single bed in the sitting room. The hotel is in a great location, right across from a convenience shop and around the corner from loads of restaurants. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We were having issues connecting our laptops to the wifi and one of the staff helped us set them up. Breakfast is continental, breads and jams, fresh orange juice, coffee, tea. All brought to your room at no charge! I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back when we need a room in Madrid.
Check in was OK. He helped us for early check-in as we were jet legged. No iron in hotel!I Be careful, they provide breakfast at and after 8. NO breakfast before that. I have to leave hotel with empty stomach as I have to leave at 7:45. I paid money for breakfast. Front desk refused to provide refund for money paid for breakfast!! This is terrible. Hotel location is perfect. It is not a four star hotel at all. One can identify that by seeing a photo of front desk!
Suites Prado are one the best places I’ve stayed in any city. Very spacious, clean and conveniently located, not to mention breakfast served in your room at your own requested time...I don’t think one can find a better place to stay in Madrid They don’t have a bar, but there’s plenty of places to go eat/drink just next door.
We especially appreciated how helpful Frank, one of the front desk attendants, was. He has excellent English skills and gave us superlative restaurant recommendations. The complementary breakfasts were wonderful and large and brought to our room by smiling, efficient hotel employees. Our room was always made up and put in order, waiting for us when we returned from our touristy activities. And need I mention that the price was “right”!
Room description didn’t match room I received
When I travel I usually do endurance events so I go through room descriptions thoroughly. Comfortable room and a bathtub are extremely important and the reason why I pick one hotel over another. Well Hotel Suite Prado lied on their room description. The deep soaking tub I needed turned into a shower only. Pictures looked great but they definitely accentuated their newer features. Failed to show the cabinet that’s on its final hinge. The bag of half melted ice permanently stuck in the mini freezer. Or the now so comfortable bed. I was on the top floor and they let me store my luggage after checking out so that was nice. Severely disappointed with the room description. Felt cheated, paid almost double for the amenity I wanted and didn’t get it.
Location location
The people in charge of cleaning did not clean glasses and cups. The beds were individual ones set together. Very uncomfortable for a couple. It is true I did make and error booking a single room, but they charge for the additional person making no allowances for comfort. We have stayed in this hotel a number of times. The staff is great, but this time we were not as happy as before with our room arrangement.
The Suite Prado is conveniently located with a short walk to Sol ( central city), shopping areas, etc., but also a quiet area. Nearby Flamenco club, restaurants and grocery stores ad well as a short walk to The Prado museum and a minor basilica all make this an ideal location.
Everything was fine. Justo soñé small spaces, but that’s to be expected in an old city, in downtown.
Fantastic location and good value for money. 24 hour reception with very helpful, friendly people. Large suite with separate rooms, very well equipped.
Large room in central Madrid
Huge room with a great, central location.
I really liked this little hotel. Great neighborhood to walk around. Convenient to everything I needed. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Good hotel
Good hotel. Clase yo restaurans bars Transportación. Excelente. Locación
Very noisy at night, can't sleep. The noise is both from outside streets and inside rooms. Shower room does not drain well so the water went out all over in bathroom.
Simple but spacious and in unbeatable location. I would stay again!
Grest
Perfect
They gave us a room with shower room only for disabled. The problem was a shower room which is easily over flooded due to how it was installed- had to call in housekeeper twice in evening.
Nice hotel, central location
Lovely hotel, happy-to-help staff, central location. No breakfast room so buffet breakfast brought to the room which was on time & filling.
Good location, not good if you would like to sleep
Pros: The hotel has a combination of old charm with modern a room. It was very clean and in a place where there where restaurants and bars were close by. It is very close to the Prado Museum. Cons: Very noisy at night as you can hear the cars and people from the bars and restaurants until very late at night (think until about 5 am). Not a good location if you need to sleep and wake up early.
Though I was only there for 1 night, I had a good stay. The staffs were proactive and represented the hotel well . Thank you
Good location
Very comfortable and spacious rooms in a great location, a short walk from restaurants and tourist destinations. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Good central location
Found that Suite Prado Hotel was centrally located, close to the route of the Madrid City Bus tour route, the Museo Thyssen, the Prado, etc.
Short walk from Puerta del Sol and Prado museum. Clean, tidy. No complaints!
Room was great. Spacious, clean, great A/C. Great location. Quiet.
The staff was extremely cordial and helpful. communication was excellent. the room was lovely and most comfortable.
They could not pick us up using their shuttle. And when my flight got canceled they would not refund us the money even though it was only 12 hours after we made a reservation. And we had 24hours to cancel.. I WANT MY MKNEY BACK!!
No sitting area. No restaurenr. Elevator bad. Noisy. Its not a hotel. Its a old small 4 story building conberted to a hotel. No failities of s hotel.
Remodeled and good size room. Double sinks in the bathroom and mini kitchen. Central location and walkable.
Great location near Puerta del Sol, very affordable. The staff is very friendly, helpful and try to accommodate all your needs.
Location good for access to tourist sites
We were in and out frequently. Rooms were always in good condition. Large rooms made it easier to get together with our family members (we had rented 2 rooms). Very relaxing.
Wonderful hotel with ample rooms
This hotel has very comfortable rooms and great supplemental beds. First time I sleep in one that is comfortable. Great location and service.
Not from what we have expected from the photos.
Room was run down, many quirky issues. You could use the sink & toilet at the same time, very tight bathroom in poor repair. Light bulbs burned out, tv remote not working & patched with tape. Windows looked out onto other rooms, no view or privacy. Noise from front desk entry was heard all night long. Overall pretty crummy.
Great location, helpful staff, spacious and clean room.
Location is amazing!
Experience was great! We loved the hotel and defo would recommend it. The location is close proximity to sights, restaurants, bars etc. Also we had no problem of noise. We like the idea of receiving breakfast to your room every morning however it can get repetitive as you only get continental food. Therefore after having 2 croissants for 4 days can get boring! The rooms were all suites with a lot of space making it feel like a home away from home.
Great location! Close to everything. Room was much bigger than expected and a good price! Some of the room could have used some maintenence and upkeep but overall it was really a great stay.

It was an easy walk from the parking lot. The area was safe and convenient. The room was HUGE and had beautiful windows. We loved it!
