I’ve stayed here twice now and this property offers everything you should need in Rome. Ideal location to walk literally everywhere, great spot near the best square, and the price is unbeatable.

Our first impression was ‘where is the hotel?’. No clear signage, we had to ask nearby shop. We can appreciate old buildings but this one needed a lot of maintenance. The reception area poky and very dark. Our room was exceptionally small Nothing like the description of the delux room which we booked. It dark even with the lights on, the curtains were stained, the bed side tables dusty, the bathroom wasn’t tiled so there was water damage to walls and the vanity had small pieces of timber which had broken away from the water damage. There was no where nothing to put our luggage on except the floor of which there was hardy none of. There was no hotel laundry service as mention in services offered. The only good thing was the location. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend any of our family or friends to stay here.

Perfect 4 days in Rome

I booked this hotel mainly for the location which was just across the street from Piazza Navona. We are a family of 4 so the size of the suite was bigger then I expected. The only negatives were finding it was a challenge after a long day of travel. There were no signs out front indicating it was a hotel and the pull out bed wasn't the most comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful especially with explaining the bus route and how to get to train station. Would definitely stay here again!

Property looks nothing like pictures. This place was actually depressing. I felt like crying when I walked into building. It was dark and in bad shape. The window curtains had stains and were about to fall off. The shower did not drain well and poor lighting in room. Area is centrally located and in walking distance to most places. But please do not stay here if you are traveling without a man in your group.

Loved how much room we had traveling with two kids 8/10. Conveniently located but also can get very loud at night

This was a truly amazing property right off piazza navona and convenient enough to walk the entire city. We explored 5 cities in Europe on this trip and the Suite Art Navona was easily the best hotel we stayed in

Great for families

Great little place. One block from Piazza Novona but still quiet enough to sleep. We didn’t hear any neighbors our entire stay. Great for families. Larger than I was expecting. The only downside is the shower is not private, which made it a little weird with teenage kids. Our room view in the pictures attached.

Great location!!

The location is amazing! Just around the corner to Piazza Navona, and the charming Via del Coronadi. Old converted apartment building. Friendly receptionist. And an elevator after the first 6 steps. A pizzeria next door for breakfast, but not included.

Amazing location! Front desk staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms and hallways need a renovation for the price.

Location was the best. A few stairs not suitable for people with mobility issues. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The location was great. The staff was kind and helpful. But at times the hotel would smell like a sewer. And our duvet actually had stains on it.

La habitación era bien pequeña pero para dos personas es suficiente, la recogían todos los dias, tenían jabon para bañarse, pantuflas y otras cosas mas para la higiene. Lo único que observe fue que los conductores de aire tenian mucho polvo y lo sentía cuando respiraba, de ahí en fuera no me puedo quejar. Otra cosa muy importante es que todo está cerca, incluso restaurantes para desayunar o comer.

We were super well received. The hotel helped us find transportation when our shuttle was canceled and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants. It's one block from Piazza Navona, surrounded by great places, the hotel has access safety code to get in and double windows guarantee a quiet nice sleep. And the bed is absolutely dreamy!! Will definitely stay there again!!

Nice location

In short: Location is the main attribute. Close to everything, 20 min walk. Plenty of restaurants, piazza navona 30 second away. Little worn out but in general ok

Everything was good

This is not a hotel. There is even no sign so hard to find. The bath room drain is blocked. No breakfast. It is overpriced.The only benefit is the location, that is all I can recommended.

Excellent service, even we check in late because there was train system problem but they still accept us....I am very well appreciated.. the hotel is clean, near tourist spot, near restaurants.. everything is excellent.. I surely referred to my friends or I still using hotels.com to my upcoming travel.

Terrible service and blaming

We stayed 3 nights at Art Navona. My rating reflects the way we were treated regarding the AC as It was not working. We notified the front desk and they said no problem, they would have a look. We returned later and was told it was fixed. When we got into our room it was hotter than it was outside. We reported this again to the front desk. They blamed us for changing the settings (which we DID NOT touch). Then said that we booked on Expedia and should call them to cancel our booking if we were unhappy (again, not accurate as booked with Hotels.com). Please note it should not be up to us to correct the hotel issues and there was no other availability around to even change if we wanted to!) The AC problem continued the entire time. At check out they waived the 30$ city tax which was good but this did not even come close to not able to sleep for 3 nights. The disregard for our room issue then the blame and telling us to go elsewhere was unacceptable. I feel bad for the next people in the room. Although the hotel is in a good location I would NOT recommend this hotel to other guests.

Good stay for the price

It was amazing! Perfectly located and easy to walk to a lot of landmarks. The suite was very spacious and clean and had amazing air conditioning which was important because we visited during a heat wave! Would definitely stay again!

Great location from Piazza Navona. Front desk staff very helpful in getting us in even after we had a very late check-in. Basic, but clean and serviceable. Ideal if you need just a bed to rest on and plan to explore the whole day.

Good hotel, but watch out for the “SC” room

AMAZING location, but my room looked nothing like the photo and it didn’t even have a number, it was marked as “SC” and it looked like it was improvised, very different decoration from the other rooms (and for the worse) and I could barely fit in the shower. I got to peek at another room and it was totaly different. I wood recomend the hotel as the staff was very attentive, the location was just amazing and the room was fairly clean. Tho if you get the “SC” room, try to make the change because for me it was an unpleasant surprise. Ps. The “SC” room isn’t unbearable, but the other ones are much better.

Perfect location. Close to everything.Staffs were friendly too. Room is so tiny. Bed is uncomfortable. I can feel the spring of the bed when I went to sleep.ask for a blanket and we got a stained and old dirty looking blanket. I felt like it was not also cleaned properly. p

There was no art. The shower head was dirty, and the sheets were yellow stained. They asked us when we were leaving in a very rude manner. It was not well kept at all.

When i booked my room on expedia the amount was 180 $ ca and when i arrived there the hotel made us pay 201 euro wich comme up to 275 $ ca

Excellent location and great accommodations

Pros - One block away from Piazza Navona, short walking distance to Pantheon Trevi Fountain - Lots of good gastronomy nearby - Super friendly staff that was willing to help with anything we need Cons - Room was super basic with uncomfortable pillows I would definitely stay here again though as it was great value for money.

Great service

Very nice hotel! We were going to be able to leave our luggage at the hotel as soon as we got in that morning at 8am but our room was already available! We had a great view of the street from our room on the 4th floor. Our room was as pictured on line. The bed was a queen and very comfortable. The bathroom was very roomy and clean. The only negative was the sink was very slow to drain and no wash clothes (but this might be an Europe thing-Romania hotels didn’t offer this either). The hotel staff was very friendly and offered a map and places to visit. I always got my messages answered in a timely manner prior to arrival. They set up our taxis to the airport the day we left without worry of being over charged as you would run into from time to time. The hotel is located in a very desirable neighborhood with restaurants, coffee and gelato just around the corner! Taxis line up starts also just around the corner as well!

Suite Art Navona

This Hotel was centrally located in a great location in the Navona area of Rome easy walk to many areas. Taxi Stand just around the corner. Many good restaurants near by. Reception personnel were excellent and had good use of English Language. Good stay. Would stay here again.

Great location, rooms average

Rooms were small, the wardrobe was a rail above the only sideboard/table in the room with kettle on, not ideal steaming your clothes! There was a bad drain stench on our last 2 days, I did advise reception but no action taken, clean and tidy rooms, great location and some lovely restaurant cafes right outside

Would love to stay again

The hotel was a little hard to find, but it was in a great location. Centrally located in the city, steps from Piazza Navona, and really close to great restaurants. Unlike some of the other hotels that we stayed at, the walls were thick and we didn’t hear any of our neighbors.

Amazing customer service

Fine location, Not the best but far from worst

Stayed here overnight as part of a longer trip. Hotel was HARD to find. Asked a restaurant on the same block if they knew the hotel and even the workers there had no idea where it was located. Only a small sign indicates there is a hotel there. Convenient location near the Vatican but parking was a bit far since the hotel is in the Historic Zone (ZTL) and no driving was allowed when we arrived. Do not eat at the pizzeria located right under the hotel. It is not owned by the hotel but was in a convenient location so we had lunch there. Worst pizza I've had during any of my visits to Rome. The room was clean but not exceptional. The single staff member at the front desk was friendly. Overall, the amount paid for the room is in line with the amenities. If I had stayed in Rome longer, I would have chosen a better place, but this was being used as just a quick place to sleep before moving onward to lother locations.

Ruined by the beginning...

Worst check-in experience in over 25 years of business travel. Incompetence combined with downright hostility. Not recommended for business travelers who are used to a certain level of cordiality and professionalism.

This is my second time staying at this location. No complaints. My neighbor was smoking quite a bit and it seeped into our room but the front desk was wonderful about it. The location is amazing

Absolutely incredible!! We called the hotel upon landing (10am) to cheekily ask if we could leave our luggage till our room was ready, the woman spoke excellent English and said they’d try to get our room ready early, they upgraded our room and had it ready for 10:30! The lovely receptionist gave us a map and explained to us where is best to go places to eat etc. The location is perfect for exploring and every member of staff we came across were so kind and polite. The room was stunning and modern with a gorgeous view of the city! Such a hidden gem! Will certainly be booking again!

Excellent location right next to Piazza Navona, a beautiful area which is also vibrant and safe at night. The room was spacious and clean, shower could be better. Staff was friendly and helpful.

If location is the only thing you care about then this is the hotel for you. The hotel room was super small. It did not have a luggage rack or dresser. The lighting was poor, very dark in the room. No iron, no ice, no washing machines. The room was dusty. The tv remote control was filthy. The sink in bathroom is on a wood shelf so the water is rotting the wood. The sheet covering the comforter was stained. The staff were always very helpful.

The location of the hotel was perfect for getting around. the hotel was clean however the only negative was the mini bar was not replenished, nor the coffee, tea and milk. We had to ask for water and were told to drink the water from the tap!!

Incredible place to stay in Rome. The staff took care of us as though we were family! Sharing tips, helping with tickets, arranging airport transfer, etc. Honestly one of the best hotel experiences! The room was clean and the location was perfect to walk to the many areas of Rome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Close to Piazza Navona, Pantheon and lots of vibrant, cobbled side streets. A little difficult to find but once you do you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful hotel and great location

This hotel was amazing! The rooms are average size - much bigger than anywhere we got in Paris and Rome. The staff were super helpful with maps and recomendations. Breakfast here was incredible.. gluten free options galore and so much on offer! There’s a self serve laundry next door and plenty of restaurants and bars within 2 minutes. Only downfall - the shower was tiny.. bathroom huge but shower was maybe a meter wide and very squishy!

Great location near Piazza Navona. Easy walk to Vatican. Room did not appear as in photo, e.g. there was no art - strange given title of hotel. It was not so much a hotel as a few rooms, e.g. no lobby.

The entrance to the hotel can be missed (no signage). Besides this the staff is friendly and extremely helpful.

Friendly staff, excellent location

Daniella was an absolute dream, speaking English and helping us with our Italian, she was so very helpful. It was like having a good friend to share our experience with. The hotel is a perfect location. Close walking distance to Piazza Navona and the Vatican. Also right on a major bus route if legs are tired.

Great hotel with excellent locatuon

Suite Art Navona is really a nice hotel with excellent location. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Going back to the airport they set us up with a great car service. They also did an excellent job giving us an overview of the city. The rooms are simple but nice. Our room had these terrific windows we could open to get fresh air in and had a wonderful view of the city. The best part of the hotel is the location though. Right next to Piazza Navona and some wonderful restaurants. 25 minute walk to the Colosseum, 15 minutes to St Peters and Spanish Steps. Overall would recommend staying there for the location and staff.

Lovely hotel in excellent location in the heart of Rome. Within a thirty minute walk of all the major attractions. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to help you and freely give advice where to visit during your stay. Very highly recommended.

Friendly staff

Suite Art Novana was in an excellent location in Rome within walking distance of many sites. We passed the Pantheon and multiple statues and fountains daily. The staff was amazing and the rooms were comfortable. The only thing I had an issue with was the shower. It was pretty small and without a place to hold your shampoo/conditioner/soap. Did I mention that the staff was amazing? Very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here.

MUST READ REVIEW....

Stayed at the hotel for a extended weekend stay. Hotel location is great and close by to all the must see places on foot. However i room smelt like a sewage. I reported this to staff and they said could not do anything as no spare rooms. They said will advise manager Antonio to contact me. I waited 3 days for Antonio to contact me and he never replied to my complaint until i returned back to the UK from the stay too reply to my email complaint. I feel disappointed that he never had the courage to discuss my complaint while i still was at the hotel. I was advised that they where aware of this smell from the toilet. So if that was the case clearly the rooms that smelt so bad (certain rooms only) then they shouldnt be made available to book as we would of paid the same as any other customer so why would they get a room that does not smell and we get one that smells from the guttering??

Close to many attractions in Rome

Hotel is within walking distance of many great attractions - Vatican, Trevis Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps and both shopping districts. Nothing fancy, but clean, airy, surprisingly quiet for the centre of Rome and great air conditioning. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect boutique hotel in piazza navona

My husband and I have stayed at suite art navona many times since 2012. This boutique hotel is perfectly situated near piazza navona. It is a well kept, modern beautiful hotel with staff that are courteous and helpful and go out of their way to help and assist their guests. One example is on our recent trip to Italy ( we just stayed there sept 19th) there was a bottle of wine and welcome letter in our room and as we travelled to the amalfi coast for a few days from Rome we left our luggage there in storage so we only had to travel with backpacks. This hotel never fails to impress us we will be back again!

Perfect location!

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again if I return to Rome in future. The hotel is in the perfect location with the Colosseum to the left when you leave the hotel (about a 20 minute walk) and the Vatican to the right (15 minute walk). There are bars and restaurants next to the hotel, with Piazza Navona two seconds around the corner filled with restaurants, fountains and buildings. The hotel is very secure with large wooden doors at the entrance only being accessed by an external key given to you by reception. This makes you feel very safe and comfortable. The room is modern and interesting, with a comfortable bed and rain shower in the bathroom. The lighting can be a bit difficult for ladies doing their makeup due to bright lighting in the bathroom, but nothing a bit of guesswork can't fix. The staff were polite and helpful, and the room also has tea making facilities, a mini bar and a hairdryer. The lift going up to the rooms is also a work of art in itself with a beautiful iron door. Overall, I loved my stay in this hotel and would thoroughly recommend to others.

Perfect for a couple get away

Me and my partner stayed here for our first holiday together and our 5 year anniversary. On arrival the receptionist, Anthony, was very polite and friendly, giving us his undivided attention where he provided a map with suggestions for dinner reservations and tourist attractions. We were also provided a front of house key to enable us to leave and return whenever suited us without feeling like an inconvenience. The hotel room itself was minimalist, refreshing and provided everything we needed (especially the air conditioning, which we lived for in the 40 degree heat!) and we was given a room with a beautiful view to top it off. We were given space and always returned to a clean room every day, as if by magic! The hotel itself was central to all the main tourist attractions and surprising streets around every corner, so to save some euros me and my partner decided to walk everywhere - we averaged about 27,000 steps a day (shattering, but so worth it to visit every recommended attraction from the Baths of Caracalla to the Colessuem!). This was just our choice and we could have easily traveled by metro or bus, but then we would have not experienced the beautiful sights and interesting culture we discovered along the way! All the staff were professional, friendly and inviting, and we would definitely recommend and return 100% - thank you!

Great Location

It was a very good place to stay in a great location. It is well kept although it had a little old smell to it. Otherwise everything else was great. They are very helpful and as I said the location is great. Walking distance to food, shops and many sites.

Great location, very comfortable.

Hotel staff was very friendly both at time of checkin and checkout. There was little bit of a view from our window out onto the street below and the double paned windows kept it very quiet. The room was a bit small as you would expect for Rome. It very comfortable. There are hardwood floors which might be cold in the winter but they give you slippers - we were there in summer though.

Great suites, people, and location to enjoy Rome

Great suites, staff, service, and location. Even when we had a minor issue with the wifi, the team was took it very serious and addressed our issues quickly. The suites are new, well designed, and clean. The location is very easy to walk from to many great Rome location at day and night. We will return.

Great location, great concierge

We stayed there a few days at the tail end of our Rome trip. If I'd known that the location and hotel was that good I would have stayed there the entire time. Location is fantastic, especially if you want to be close to the river. The concierge was very helpful and the room spacious. We had a great view of the street which is a hub for transportation, sights and great eating and drinking.
