Needs more cleaning

It was okay but we had to keep asking for towels and the drain in the shower was clod. Location was very good and breakfast was very experienced for pancakes and eggs.

The room is spacious and a good location. A lot stains on the carpet in the hallway and the bed sheets. There is no blanket and only one thin sheet to cover. It was too cold to be able to sleep. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Dashida remembers everything we requested and responsed quickly. The housekeeper is very nice too helped us moved our luggage to the elevator.

Good value for the price but other than the initial stay, they don't clean the rooms. I requested multiple times a day for them to come clean, and even then it's a problem to get them to come and clean.. I didn't understand why they don't do it if it's supposed to be included in the price.

I enjoy the hotel.

The hotel is in need of a lot of repairs. There was exposed sheetrock outside of my room door and chaulk dust on the floor that was not swept up the whole week I stayed. There. I had to constantly ask for towels. There were none in the room when I entered. It took hours to get towels. The ceiling in my had water stains and bubbled from a leak. The gym was hot, not A/C, no fans. There was a leak in the gym ceiling.

This property is close to the metro.

Safe centric location.

Excellent value for a very nice, clean, good-size room and bathroom. Less than one block away from the Metro station (no need to cross the street). Safe, walkable area.

I didn't like that there were no hand towels in the bathroom.

This hotel is so dirty. They have a roach infestation. They only give you towels once during your entire stay. One roll of tissue during your stay. If your going by the other reviews of this hotel and the pictures you would be under the impression it's a nice hotel. Don't believe any of it. This hotel is nothing at all like it seems. The only good thing I can say is that the shower was big and the water was hot the way i like it to be.

Good place to stay

Counter personnel was very professional. Mr. Vincent, the supervisor was affable, cordial and very accommodating to the needs I experienced. One complaint I had to do to the counter was the ugly attitude of a room cleaner, a woman who came to knock my door at 7:30 AM to clean the room, but the real anointment came with her attitude towards me, very unfriendly, rude, haughty. I reported her to the customer counter, such individual diminish the good work of the other employees.

The area was nice

I would definitely stay here again because of it's strategic location. I stayed on floor 6 and it was very quiet. My room had a small fridge, blow dryer, iron and ironing board... Linen and towels were provided upon request. There is a kitchen on the top floor where you can prepare meals if you dont want to eat out often. There are fridges, microwaves, air fryers etc. There is also a pool and jacuzzi which I enjoyed. Shontal at the reception desk provided excellent service and she also speaks English.

Good morning .the room should be clean at less 3 time a week .which bathrooms utensil should be replace .for example towels, face towels etc.no one should not have to go front desk asking for things like .the television should have a bit more English channels. And last we was lock out from our room a number of time because of the key pad .that need fixing. Other then those things i was comfortable.

I understand that nothing is perfect in life. When I arrived to the hotel there was someone behind the counter to assist me. I got signed in and off I went to my room. There was something missing in bathroom. I went to the front desk and they took care of the issue. It happens. It was quiet and convenient to go to the stores and restaurants. The staff were pleasant and caring. Thanks!

It is a very basic hotel. Very clean. No frills. Convenient for transportation. Metro just around the corner. Staff was good with responses. What I didn't like was having to go to the desk to request toilet paper, towels and shower mats these are basic needs. The property should at least have a coffee machine or a kettle in each room after all there is a fridge. Having to go to the 7th floor for hot water or to make coffee was inconvenient. The property should also look at placing more washers and dryers. At the time there were 4 couples trying to do laundry. If you need some place for a quick visit this is the spot for you. Also if you wanted the room clean you have to request a day in advance. Thwy might want to also check the drainage of the showers which was slow. At night there was some slaming of doors from persons going in and out. We decided to try here as it was rated 8/10 however although there was the lack of amenities we decided to stay ust because it was clean and convenient to move around.

The hotel is excellent for travelers. It's clean and quiet.The front desk is super efficient. The location is a convenient 10 minute walk from the bike path along the bay as well as a neighborhood supermarket. I would gladly stay there again.The only negative aspect is that during the three night stay was no room cleaning and the garbage piled up.But that was a relatively small negative aspect in an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The property is centrally located and within walking distance to most amenities. The building is always kept clean and the staff is extremely courteous and attentive however the physical aspect of the building can be improved. The whole building needs a good paint job, the hallways need to have better lighting and improved physical space (hallways are dark and in poor state). The elevators are quite small for such a large building and are constantly being repaired. The pool area has great potential but it is also in disrepair; the pool floor is missing half its tiles. My room was big and comfortable; everything worked. you have to ask to have your room cleaned daily and they ration the towels and the bathroom paper (I dont know why). I was there for 9 days; the room was cleaned 4 times and not once was the bathshower floor cleaned. Overall, B-.

A/c vents and ceiling were moldy. Pool was in need of repair and was murky.

The staff was WONDERFUL! Chantelle was very helpful and tended to everything we needed, which we truly appreciate! The rest of the staff was very attentive and courteous as well. The hotel could use some remodeling in the rooms and attention to cleaning as well as a possible mold issue. Other than that it was convenient and priced accordingly.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed with its accommodations. Ome night stand!

Only one night, Inwas busy all day and got back shower and lay down!

The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was kind enough to upgrade me to a suite because I had a child. The WiFi was very fast.

The wifi used to down,no wifi at all at a certain time. And no free breakfast in the morning…

I would definitely recommend. I would have liked for more cleaning during the week or equipment to keep the room clean. We were out early and came back late at night but still would appreciate cleaning a lot.

Three tries before i got a decent room.

Firstly, the room needed cleaning properly. Secondly, but more importantly, a staff member stole my 14k gold earrings whi h I left for a few hours in my room.

The staff were not friendly. Our basic needs were not met. We requested washcloths and were given face towels. After staying 2 nights, we only had two bath towels. Would not recommend the hotel to my enemy.

Clean room by noon.

Not a complaint but they should clean before or by noon. So when we return by 13:00 hrs or later the room is clean. Not sure why they do that. I had to ask at the front desk to get the room clean.

The kitchen sink is always dirty with meat bones and food, broken elevator, room service must be requested 24hrs in advance so any mid night mishaps, you’re on your own. Poor lighting, one wall light and two lamps, very dim. Information displayed around entire hotel only in Spanish. Staff wasn’t friendly and seemed annoyed to assist. There isn’t any city view. The windows are white wash so you can’t see anything. The hotel is centralize to everything, rooms were clean, comfortable bed.

Central air-conditioning ducts were very noisy at night in the room, particularly with the air-con switched off. Otherwise freezing cold and just one sheet/no blankets. Asked for a blanket on several occasions but no positive responses as it was freezing with the air-con on. The ducts made it sound as if I was trying to sleep in a machine room. Also no room cleaning over weekend.

I reserved two nights and my key card timed out after one. Luckily I had two beds in the room for one person. When I turned down the first bed the sheets were stained. Looked like blood, so I slep in the other bed. After my first nights stay, I was out in the city all day. When I returned to my room it had not been cleaned. i had to call the desk for towels, soap, and shampoo. Nice hotel but poorly managed.

Breakfast at the hotel was horrible. Its close to everything but the hotel needs an upgrade.

Really nice area. The hotel is also alright . There is a pool and jaccuzi on the 7th floor. They can really improve by updating the hotel , two of the elevators didnt work . Everything else was fine its also a building where people live for long term too.

The hotel is on the same corner as El Carmen metro station with nice restaurants, fast food and a full grocery store within 2 blocks. The neighborhood is safe by Panama city standards. My king room was updated and quite large. The staff seemed experienced and check in was easy. There is lots of room to lounge in the lobby and they have a restaurant. My favorite part of the hotel was the clean enjoyable pool. Outside on the same floor is a very large terrace with an area to prepare food and eat. The walls and doors are paper thin and my room needed a bit of touching up. For the price and location, I will be back.

It was amazing to see a hotel which doesn’t have soap, towels, or basic needs. We called reception so many times it got tiring.

Este hotel sólo ofrece lo extremadamente básico. Sólo sabanas, no otra cubierta de ningún tipo, sólo 1 toallas de baño, un jabón para la ducha y para el lavamanos o papel higiénico, lo queda en el rollo es todo, limpieza del cuarto la tienes que pedir así como el papel higiénico. Al ir a la recepción y pedir asistencia te encuentras con una mezcla de empleados unos buenos, la mayoría indiferentes y el rudo. No puedo decir como era la vista desde mi ventana porque no se veía nada, ya que condensación entre el doble vidrio es permanente. Al parecer es un hotel de larga estadía con lavadora (no funcionando al momento) cocina pública, vi un par de estos huéspedes en las áreas públicas. El pasillo en mi piso estuvo sucio con migajas por los dos días de mi hospedaje. Pero esta al lado de la estación del metro y eso es muy conveniente.

It’s very humid and moldy, the rooms and the whole hotel smell terrible and have a lot of humidity and filtrations on the walls and ceiling, causing mold. Also is not very clean, they don’t clean the room very often. I stayed for 4 days and they only clean once because I asked. There’s not even water to drink in the room, you have to buy everything you need to eat and drink. There’s no utensils available like mugs, glasses, forks, etc. you can have those only on the 7th floor where they have a little space for you to make food, but every guest have to wash their on dishes after they finish. Si there’s no guarantee you used a clean utensils. For me it wasn’t a pleasant stay, I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. I prefer to pay a little more and stay in somewhere better. The only nice thing was the location of the hotel.

They were sastisfied with their stay but was of the same opinion.. hotel needs updating. And please lose the carpet in the halls it was a nightmare trying to get our suitcases rolled down the hallways

Easy access to transportation

There was black mold on the ceiling of our room and no one cleaned up our room during our 4 day stay. We had to ask for toilet paper from the front desk.

Location is great

I was bitten by bugs (mites) the first night of three. I asked for a room change and they refused. I slept in a chair that night to avoid being bitten. I left with 1 more day paid for because they refused a refund. Its been three days since I left and still trying to rid my body of this infestation.

This place is run by nasty panamenias. Hot water isn’t hot ! Its just warm. So they save electric on you not to pay. Its really bad. Hot water is first thing that matters. Brigit from the reception treated me like a pig when came to pay. Throwing papers and pulling hard the scanning mashine. She needs to work at the bocatorenia. Thats the perfect place for her. I complained and asking free night and breakfast. Next day restaurant didn’t want to serve me saying it’s cost money from the menu. I complained again. Next day they told me they don’t have milk for the coffee. Jajaaa. Can you believe that ? I tried to contact john the general manager who didn’t reply to many emails I tried to reach him. Maybe Christopher the manage the reception didn’t want to pass him the emails after I asked full refund for that panamenian garbage. Also they dont clean the rooms everyday. Save yourself the hassle. If you read this I strongly recommend to avoid this place !

It's a place with great location. Walking distance to metro station, restaurants, bars and plenty of stores. Very close to the ocean front area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing I could say that it could improve is the weird smell in the elevators that could be because of the flooring, but besides that, all is good

Great Stay, Great People

Studio Coliving was a great fit for us. Our Spanish is not very good but all of the staff was very helpful and we had no problems at all. The location was very good (a short Uber ride to the “Old City”), the fast Ferry and Mira Flores. We were at the hotel for 3 days and were lucky enough to meet Kira (an Uber driver who lived at the hotel) on our first day. Her English was great so it was easy to get around.

Everything is very good about the property and the staff.
