Lovely hotel - lots of people
Great location if you are flying out earlier morning and a great looking hotel. The room was lovely and great bathrooms. There is a lot of people with 600+ rooms so bar area was packed. Food was ok in the bar - nothing special. Would be back again
Couldn’t fault it, the service at reception was great, room was so clean and the decor was great! Really good value for money! Will be returning next time I am going to Belfast.
Best Hotel
One of my favourite hotels with beautiful Xmas decorations, friendliest staff and gorgeous rooms. Food amazing
Staff very friendly. Reception area very welcoming when we arrived. Lovely breakfast
Superb hotel and staff
Staff are always very friendly and professional
Sarah from Reception was a Star, looked after us from beginning to End ! Nothing too much trouble !
The staff were so amazing and helpful and had a huge sense of care in what they are doing. The gentleman at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and also the gentleman who was at the restaurant and then the bar once that closed. Both of these guys really turned a frustrating situation around for me. They got us into dining last minute and I couldn’t ask for more! Thank you all so very much! I’d love to go back one day!
My partner and I had a wonderful stay here. It was ideal as we landed at George best airport and it was only a short drive away. We were greeted at the front desk by this lovely gentleman who made us feel more than welcome. Helped us with where to get food despite the late hour. He even stored my partners insulin in the fridge somewhere safe. The beds were very comfortable and we had no disturbances all night. Highly recommend!!
Lovely spacious hotel, great location
Still delivering on Quality
As always the hotel and especially the staff were amazing
Comfortable stay
The weather was as expected….grey. But luckily dry. This is our second visit to the hotel as our son lives out here. Lovely hotel, the evening bar service was a little “lack lustre”. We stood at the bar where there was one bar staff member sweeping up glass, but no acknowledgement from him to let us knew that we were waiting, and when we were served he didn’t seem friendly at all! Checking in was quick and easy, the room was ample with a massive bed that felt like you were sleeping on a marshmallow… so comfy! The rooms were also quiet and bathrooms very clean with towels changed daily.
Granfd very comfortable and quiet
Disappointed
Disappointing, Slow check in, poor housekeeping.
Great option near the George Best City Airport in Belfast. Ideal as a base camp to start exploring the Irish northern coastal route
Spotlessly clean, we had a twin room ,the beds were so comfortable, excellent quality bedding, towels. The hotel smells fresh ,is very clean and good breakfast. Plenty of free parking available
All good
Delighted with the hotel. Very clean and spacious. Lovely atmosphere
Restaurant! AVOID
Food was overpriced, and chicken undercooked! 2nd night asked for onion rings, never arrived, stilted apology
The hotel is nice with a very good restaurant. The facilities are a bit limited with no fitness center. The staff was very friendly. The location is in a residential area, there is not a lot to do within walking distance. If you have a car there is plenty of parking.
Lovely hotel and staff were very friendly, I would stay here again
Great base for a tour of Northern Ireland
We had a lovely stay here on a family weekend away - staying in two interlinking rooms. We are at the restaurant after a late arrival (maybe room service would have been easier) and a Sunday breakfast (delicious!) - staff were helpful, rooms were comfortable and clean, location worked well for us with free parking.
Wonderful stay in this hotel. Staff were fantastic and made the stay very comfortable indeed. Special mention to the front of house who was really helpful and also the quality of food and beverage was great.
Stormont Hotel
Absolutely lovely hotel; good customer service. Definitely recommend.
We have stayed here many times, Very good hotel and great breakfast and shower
Porridge with whisky
Staff are lovely. Food is great, porridge with whisky.
Suited needs well Clean and good location
Small review
Very good restaurant, excellent bed and pleasent staff
Great place to be. The facilities are great, and the breakfast was scrumptious.
One of the best hotels in Belfast, the staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The family room was spacious, bed/ pillows comfortable and every one had a peaceful sleep.
Warm and inviting. Staff very friendly and eager to assist with queries. La Scala Bistro offered an interesting menu. My Vegetarian meal was fabulous! Will stay again.
The hotel is a comfortable, friendly place to stay, very convenient for the two Belfast airports. Breakfast is quite expensive - £14 or £18 - OK if you can manage to eat quite a lot! My other reservation about it is that the complimentary water in the room is in cartons like milk cartons. I felt that was quite wasteful, as we never drank a whole cartonful, so I presume the rest just got poured out.
One of my favourite hotels!!
Amazing staff, beautiful hotel and fantastic. Food. I absolutely love this hotel and great location for Belfast city centre, ferry terminal or airport and huge car park.
Convenient to see family
Avoid holidays and request 3rd floor
The hotel itself is very nice. If you are looking for a quiet stay request staying on the upper floors. We were there for one night on a longer road trip through Ireland and ended up there for New Year’s Eve. We were not out celebrating as we had to be up very early to be in the road early for our next stop. We were on the first floor and the people that were in the rooms all strong us keeps going in and out of their rooms slamming doors, arguing, shouting, doing what they do from when they checking in until about 10 when I had to call down to the front desk. There was another guest who also added to the enjoyable experience by letting her toddler scream in the hall way. How some people have zero manners is beyond me. The staff were extremely accommodating to my needs and helping resolving the rude guests. Unfortunately the lack of manners of others have ruined the experience and I cannot recommend this place, unless you request or pay more for the higher floor and further away from the main staircase.
Comfortable stay
We really enjoyed our stay in the Stormont Hotel. Philip on reception was so friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was delicious and breakfast was tasty too! An excellent hotel and we would not hesitate to book the Stormont Hotel again. Thank you!
very clean property, lovely inside decor, helpful staff and good facilities
Great stay
Very nice and friendly
Such a lovely hotel will definitely be coming again it’s so lovely and the staff are always there if you need help.
Fantastic service
As usual our stay was fantastic. Finnuala, Clare, Vic, Anna and Dylan, Brendan and all of the staff were all so welcoming, friendly and professional. Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable.
5 star
An excellent stay, I will definitely be returning!
Ulster rugby
Up to see Ulster play or 2nd time we have stayed
Hotel was ok.
Lovey
Loved this hotel , once I worked out the glider it was easy to get to and from
While the room was very nice, it was too warm. Opening the window resulted in our sleep being disturbed as there was an event going on at the hotel and the guests were quite loud when in front of the hotel on the drive.
Comfortable, clean and close to Belfast city airport
Friendly staff very helpful with bus and train information re getting into Belfast city, hotel was very clean, I did fine it a bit strange that they didn’t accept cash when I tried to pay a bar bill with a 50 sterling I was told it wasn’t legal tender and hadn’t been since last October I still think it’s odd also the breakfast wasn’t good value for money
One of the best in Belfast
This was my and my fiancé’s 3rd stay in the hotel. It is always excellent. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bed is big and comfortable. The tv is a bit awkward to use for an old fart like me but grand. The rooms are quiet and a pleasant environment. The hotel bar is a wee bit soulless but the staff are lovely which makes up for it. We used the restaurant on night one. It was a little slow and a tad underwhelming. I had the tikka which was in my opinion was made with a paste possibly pataks. It was made with fresh chicken and peppers added but wasn’t anything special considering the price. My fiancé had the chicken supreme which was all very tasty if sparse. My fiancée is not a big eater but was still hungry. It came with one potato albeit very fancy. Again fine if the price reflected it but it doesn’t. The sweets were fine. We didn’t have starters it was 25 minutes for mains to arrive in a restaurant with 8 customers. This felt longer as we were seated at a window and the evening sun was boiling us! The best way I can describe the food is that if we’d got it in a Wetherspoons we would’ve been happy but not blown away. The breakfast was great on both days. The staff again were very pleasant and helpful. The car park is spacious with plenty of space in each parking spot. With an Uber being between 9-11 pounds to Belfast city centre it’s a great option for a city break, with the ability to escape the hustle and bustle to the quiet hotel. We love it and will be back!
I really liked the staff, so courteous, thank you
Spacious and clean. Friendly staff. Just in front of the Stormont Estate.
Also stay here for business and love it
Great hotel, friendly staff and quick check in
Parking was good at the hotel and the hotel was well situated to use the Glider bus service. Whilst the hotel had a restaurant, there were no bars, restaurants or convenience stores within easy walking distance.
Fantastic Hotel
Amazing Hotel, food and service. Loved our duck
Lovely hotel beds were massive and really comfortable, breakfast was lovely
Pleasant Business Trip
The hotel was warm and friendly, food was very nice, rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be booking this hotel.
Rugby
Hotel and staff where fantastic we only stayed one night as we were up to see a ulster rugby game .
Lovely hotel
The hotel is lovely, overlooking the Stormont Estate. The staff were very attentive and lovely. The bistro food and breakfast was lovely. The only issue i had was the bedroom walls were thin, we could hear the people in the next room, not just voices but what they were actually saying. Didn’t appreciate it at 1 am -until approx 1:45. Also the hotel is around half n hr out via the bus. The glider route 1 runs past the hotel and stops at the side of the entrance to the Stormont estate.
Lovely guy checked us in and food and service in restaurant first class room was ok but it was the noisiest room I’ve stayed in people standing outside shouting right at our window keeping us awake until 2 am which was very annoying fir this reason I don’t think we will stay again but staff excellent
Very noisey! Lots of banging from upstairs. Someone was having a good night or they were moving furniture around at an ungodly hour.
Beautiful hotel / friendly staff
This is a very nice hotel. The room was very comfortable. The hotel restaurant was excellent. Most importantly the staff were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.
We stayed for 5 nights. Towels were not changed and the bathroom was not cleaned at all for the last night and barely cleaned on the other nights; towels therefore remained wet. The toilet was constantly dripping, making an annoying noise. The lights above the bed didn't work. The room was small although it was advertised as a "superior " room which we later found out was the lowest category! The restaurant was not open in the evenings and there was no fridge in the room. There was no provision of gluten free foods at breakfast. We were woken on 2 of the nights by false fire alarms. When we expressed our concerns on discharge, no note was taken of the issues.
Mine was just a brief one night stay but i was very happy with my room, comfortable bed and excellent shower! If i was doing the trip again i would be very happy to stay at the Stormont.
We stayed the one night, Room was large and very clean, Bathroom was the same. Staff are excellent
Beautiful stay. Great breakfast and bed comfortable
Simply lovely
Lovely hotel, beautifully friendly staff. Sadly it was only a 1 night stay but would dearly like to go back! And the ‘feel’ of Christmas was just lovely
Great hotel
Great stay only one night for business but great room, lovely ambience and good value for money !
comfort 5 stars
great hotel and 1st class service as always the queen size beds are will be the best i have ever slept on nothing comes close to the nights sleep you get only niggle we had the was no yellow duck in the bath other than that would not stay anywere else in belfast but here
Excellent accommodations, very comfortable with parking on the property.
Beautiful hotel and great location. Ideal for travel with bus links etc
Fantastic Hotel
Great stay, nice venue and convenient for the airport. Restaurant serves great food and rooms at luxurious.
I had a lovely stay at Stormont Hotel. The room was very nice and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the Reception staff and housemaids were all very polite, friendly and helpful.
Everything was perfect. The parking space, the breakfast, the room was exceptional.
Lovely rooms, beautiful public areas and terrific staff.
1) waiting for a few minutes at the bar for a drink. The two bartenders doing other things, never acknowledged me. Could have said "I'll be with you just a moment". It was a 3rd bartender that came out to attend to me. 2) I had 3 restaurant servers, I didn't know what happened to the first waitress that sat us and took our order. A different waiter served the food and asked how it was, and another waiter checked on us and took our dirty plates away. I then had to beg any waiter to get my check to pay with no guidance where to pay. With them or go to the desk? We just arrived and was extremely tired, so we just went to the desk to pay. 3) I used Expedia to reserve this room and it said AC was listed. When I get to the room, no AC in the room. In their own website, nothing about the AC listed under rooom amenities. I checked Google maps for the hotel and it's listed AC, scroll down I then see, ac in some rooms. Get it straight, ac or not. Thankfully, we left the windows open and at present it was 48 degree weather......thankfully!!! What happened of it was the summer for others.....? It was a great deal to stay a day and we just needed a place near the airport but I am picky with customer service. That needs some fixing.
Unlike our previous stays our room was in the Original hotel. The floor boards creaked, a bed side lamp had a failed bulb and we had road noise from Upper Newton Ards Road. Also, the wash basin tap was stiff and difficult. Not a good room
Lovely Hotel
This was a lovely hotel which was good value for money, while slightly out of town it was considerably cheaper than all others.
Excellent standard as usual, stayed there several times and the staff are brilliant, hotel is clean and tidy. I would recommend this hotel to anybody.
Great hotel friendly staff will be back again
Hotel accommodated my 2-3am check-in, and were very helpful with luggage storage and taxi requirements
Good hotel, but more attention to detail needed
Nice hotel in a good location, but let down by minor points. Housekeeping hammering on the door at 8.10 in the morning (“Do Not Disturb” sign not provided). Room not serviced on one of our three days. Benches directly outside our window attracting noisy smokers from 6am (no aircon meant the window had to be open). Bar can’t provide an Aperol Spritz “we can sell you the ingredients but will need to charge for each item as a separate drink”! All easy to resolve and wouldn’t stop us staying again, but could just use a little more attention to detail.
Not a 4 star hotel
My wife and I booked what was supposed to be an Executive Room. Aside from not having air con (none of the rooms do despite what you see on some review sites), they did not even provide complimentary water (the outside temperature was 25 degrees) or glasses in the bathroom for dental hygiene. There was no mini bar and the main bar closed at 11pm - they offer nothing to residents after that time. From what we could see the only thing we got above a standard room was a dressing gown and slippers, which given the lack of air con, was the last thing we needed. I would say this hotel should be rated as 2.5 star. There are many better available locally
It had lot of parking and the ambiance in the hotel was relaxing.
Don’t stay here
This place was terrible. First, when we arrived 3 hours after check in started the room we were assigned had not been cleaned. Went back to the desk - 45 minutes later we were given another room, right next to the lobby and road and was very noise. Second, we ordered “soup of the day” which was Potato and Leek, which our 8yo loves. The soup that was brought out had onion all through it, and when asked where is the potato and leek, we where told it’s French onion…..third, they advertise 24h room service. After not eating the soup bought to us we tried to order room service to be told “sorry, kitchen closes at 9:30”!!!!!! Really? What happen to 24 hour room service?
Lovely bed, good room. Food excellent.
Beautiful hotel… lovely room with an amazing view.. will definitely stay again
Nice place to stay.
Great stay. would stay here again.
Easy Parking
Easy parking. Close to Belfast City George Best Airport. Comfortable bed. They provided us with a fan for the room.
Great value rooms but on the cusp of refurb.
Woken by drunks at 3 30 am No hot water in morning
Night away
Staff friendly and helpful, great stay as always
Lovely hotel, nicely situated beside Parliament Buildings. Easy to get to city centre on fast and cheap public transport. Friendly staff.
Amazing Service and Stay
Stay was great, Aaron was amazing, we had been advised to wait a few minutes for our room and honestly I probably didn’t listen but we waited for almost an hour and the room was ready long before that so completely my fault for not going up and asking again. But even though it wasn’t their fault, Aaron offered us free breakfast to make up for it and continued to help throughout the day when I couldn’t get the hdmi to work on the tv. The other staff were also great, anything I asked was answered then and there, can’t recommend the place enough. Room was lovely, massive bed that you just sink in to, very nice bathroom and the tv was very good quality, rooms a little warm but it was summer and that’s to be expected. Overall an amazing stay and will be back
Stormont Hotel - Amazing
wonderful, from start to finish. freindly and professional staff. Exceptional service from Niall ( The manager) who made sure my stay was the best. Highly recommended
Impressive lobby rest a total let down
Looks impressive but looks can be deceiving room dirty on check in, said they’d send a cleaner no chance demanded a new room dinner was a disaster over an hour to get a starter in a restaurant with 5 other tables in main coarse was awful potatoes rock hard tasteless expensive rubbish in my opinion
Great EV facilities, annoying TV
Handy EV charging in car park, 22kw. Annoying tv ad selling “last minute dinner deals” constantly pop up on tv. Somewhat tacky and not befitting if this hotel, also v annoying. Otherwise a good stay.
Comfy beds and good service.
I stay in hotels a lot, when i got into bed, i noticed it was particularly comfortable. Thats important! Also, i ate in the bistro for my evening meal, i didnt get the name of the lady that served me, i was on the upper tier, she was excellent. She was bouncing around the tables, had a great rapport with diner. Well done!
The property was in excellent condition and the bedroom facilities pretty perfect. The breakfast was very good and had a huge selection and the staff helpful/ However we were a wee bit disappointment in the offer in the Bistro so only dined once there. Overall we would definitely return and would recommend the hotel to others.
Overall a great hotel. Room servicing was a little disappointing.
