Easy to check in and key pad locks on doors were easy to use Large space with comfy bed and all necessities including coffee maker and mini fridge The room was cold and the duvet was small and thin but asked for an additional one and was supplied with no problems Shower was basic but usual even The property itself is surrounded by night clubs and strip clubs so was noisy but the hotel provided ear plugs There is no lift so if you have accessibility needs this place is not suitable Other than that was perfect for what we needed in a location that ensures close proximity to all that is essential to see and do in Bucharest
DO NOT STAY HERE! This is more of an Airbnb than a hotel. No staff is on site. They never emailed me my access code so I had to call. And I had to call several times a day since the code for the front door never worked. Other times that door wasn’t locked at all. There is no elevator and a lot of stairs that were on sensor lights which took a few steps to light. Dark! The shower glass only covered half which placed water everywhere. The hotel is in a street that’s not drivable. I had to walk to another hotel to get a taxi. By far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Don’t stay here!
Ideal location if you want to stay in the centre of the Old Town.
Absolutly no heat verry cold and nobody said anything we only found out when we arrived and the lady told me that we cant have a refund
The property is located on a street that feels quite rundown and not very nice to look at, however once inside everything was spotless and the rooms were very comfortable. It is also right in the centre of the old town, with lots of bars and restaurants at the end of the street. The main thing to consider if booking here is mobility. The property description didn’t state how many stairs were in the property. My group had three rooms booked and all were up steep flights of stairs (there is no lift). The junior suite in particular is up an extremely high amount of stairs, lots of which are a bit unsteady and spiral staircases. Also, the rooms are split across two buildings which also wasn’t clear when booking. The buildings are next door to each other, but this isn’t ideal considering how many stairs we had to go up and down to get to all of the rooms. Overall, I’d stay here again if it was assured I’d be able to get one of the rooms on the lowest floor.
Perfect ubcation in center of city
Lousy place
Very disappointing place. They have no front desk service at any time of the day or night. You depend upon a code you have to enter to open the front door electronically. But the manager “ forgot” to give me the access code so you will struggle to get their attention to get inside the hotel and you are just arriving from the airport. Then you see how this electronic access/ device is a challenge for everyone because the try to make it work attemptyin battery change, or entire device change. If you are there during this challenging times , you will be locked out of the hotel and the surroundings of the place are deplorable , the street is very dirty ( I mean the garbage and the rats are everywhere. Well , it is the old town, the straight cats are well feed) .The caretaker /,house keeping employee from India is very nice and helpful and to be praised . You can hardly clean yourself without a shower system . My advice: pay 10 dollars more a day for a real hotel .this place is not worthy the headache . Good luck trying to get into the Hotel and then with the terrible noise till 5 AM every day . The municipal cleaning crew of the street will wake you up at 7 am . Very lousy hotel , for more than 90 dollars a night, as Bucharest is a very nice but affordable place to visit . Very bad hotel to stay .
Stay
Key punch no elevator and no reception is the low point of my stay . Overall,However all else was well great location and clean room
Great location but avoid heavy bags
Upon arrival we couldn't get in the hotel as there is no manned reception. We should have received an email with an entry code 24 hours before arrival. The email never turned up. However, a quick phone call to the provided number and this was sorted. The room was clean and adequate for our needs. Unfortunately, there was no hot water but once again, a quick phone call and this was fixed within an hour. Great location in the heart of Old Town but the trade off for this is the late night noise outside. So if you want quiet night then find a hotel that is away from the bars and clubs. But, I must add that the owners have done all they can to reduce the noise, just open your room window to hear the difference. Directly across from the hotel are 3 craft beer pubs so if you like your beer with a little more flavor than generic lager these are the place to drink. Also just down the road is a sports bar with a Karaoke bar next door, and on either end of the street are fast food places. The only hiccups were the lack of a lift inside. The hotel is split on 5 floors and you would not want to drag a heavy bag up to the highest floors. Also the door entry system is glitchy, there were a few times when we were stuck in the hallway a few minutes because the room door lock didn't respond when entering the door code. But these are minor points. Overall, I would recommend hotel
Do not stay here!
They were horrible, we had no water no shower no toilet, and no way to contact them because they have no one who works there! I brought this to their attention and they knew there was no water and admitted as much and refused to refund anything. I have never had such horrible service at a hotel in my life!
Enjoyed the stay
Good location in the old town right by many bars and restaurants. Although right next to bars the noise inside the room wasn’t a problem as mentioned by other reviews. Response from the hotel was fast when contacted via WhatsApp. Rooms were clean.
Sure glad they supplied ear plugs, you’re going to need them. Old Town is a dump! Majority of building’s abandoned and run down, quite a rough neighborhood. All the bars in the area are all the same, loud with mediocre food. If you’re looking for a party place and don’t need sleep this will do. They should warn you you need to go up 4 flights of very narrow stairs carrying your bags. The place was clean.
City overnight stay
Great location in the centre! Nice large room with comfy bed. Glad earplugs provided as noisy. Dangerous old hairdryer provided which blew up on us. Would be nice to have greetings and good byes but great value for the location and space.
Great stay!! Thank you!!
Really good location to Old Town. Room really clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place! Old town is very lively well into the early hours which didn’t bother us but could be heard from the room. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!
Nice location right in the old town. Quite a few places to get food including grocery stores.
The best experience in the historic center
It was a pleasure to stay in this location in the historic center of Bucharest. Very good value for money. There are many terraces and shops nearby, and public transportation is easy to get to anywhere in the city, including the subway.
