Great Value! Recommend
Had a shared kitchen that was well stocked to help us prepare our dinner. Used their free bikes to get us to the boardwalk. Did not actually see staff so i didnt give rating. Had a Great stay!
Very quiet. Clean. Close to the town centre. Bed was very comfortable.
One of the best places in Stewart to stay!
Great stay and location!
This is a great location for many wilderness experiences. We had access to a kitchen and a lovely Mexican restaurant within walking distance. The view from our room was awesome. We were able to go back and forth to Hyder, Alaska for grizzly bear watching at Fish Creek. It was so much fun. We also drove up to see the Salmon Glacier; beautiful. The road was quite an adventure.
Great room, comfy bed, convenient walkable location.
We enjoyed our stay. Owner was great.
Loves our stay here!
Good stay for family. We can stay in 2 bedrooms with connecting bathroom. Will stay in the future. All clean! Coffee and tea provided.
Courteous friendly clean
Second time in Stewart, An amazing place to visit.
All went well
Well, it's certainly not a luxury hotel! But supplied us with what we needed a bed and bathroom for the night. It worked for being in such a remote place like Stewart, I wouldn't want a big fancy hotel built there. Sure glad they had a nice fan as it was very hot. Girl who showed us our room was very nice. Husband couldn't fit into the shower. I managed. Quiet, peaceful, thank you.
Clean…. New.. comfortable and friendly staff!!👍👍😊
There was not an en suite bathroom for the room I booked…it was advertised as that…in the hidden small print…but manager managed to find a room in another location with a bathroom. Seems that one manager has keys to all accommodation in Stewart. All done on line/with codes…
This is such a cute quiet little town with the friendliest people. I truly enjoyed staying here with my pup!
The room was not as advertised, only had a bed and desk. Washrooms were out in the hall. Mold in the closet.
Check in was as simple as walking into my room. The owner left me a message explaining the self check in. Room was clean, simple and comfortable. There is a shared common area with a kitchen, cookware, dining table and couch with TV. Short walk around the block and you will find a few restaurants. I enjoyed my stay at the SML!
This place is clean, economical, easy access, immediate communication. I would stay again next time travelling to Alaska. Thank you.
It’s a beautiful town. The rooms are interesting but cozy. Shower wasn’t to warm but otherwise a great place to say

This lodge has its own unique feel, not a chain hotel for sure! The rooms are honey and worth what you pay in the area. Will be back
