Good
overall stay was good
Good hotel, friendly staff but could be better
Pros: Great food Clean and spacious rooms Cons: Wifi was almost non existent Pools were not heated so it was impossible to swim in during winter
Sure, this trip was the best since a while iam gonna do it in this amazing hotel again ❤️🥰😍
Solid hotel on the Red Sea
We stayed just one night. It was ok; nothing great. A nice getaway from Cairo. The dinner and breakfast buffets were pretty good compared to others in Egypt. It was a holiday weekend so it was very busy, but the staff were competent and able to handle the large crowds. We were even able to check-in a couple hours early (which we had called them about, but they had not guaranteed). The beach was about a 10-minute walk from our room, which was fine, but for those with small children or with mobility issues there was a kiddie train that shuttled people between the beach and the lobby. No photos since we were staying just one night.
Very clean and good service
Reception not helpful, they forgot get back my ID after check in and checkout, bar guy asking for money I don’t why we put all checks on room, asking also for late check out for urgent meeting they refuse that..
Great place to chill
Didn’t supply enough drinking water. Poor customer service when I ordered medication.
Thank you Mr. Mina in reception, Qurashi and Mina bellmen, Abd ElRahim and Nader (dining) for making my stay welcoming, comfortable and enjoyable.
Thx for a lovely stay
As a first time visitor to Stella De Mare Sea Club, I would highly recommend it. It was so peaceful and quiet. The staff were very helpful. The buffet breakfast and dinner (half board) had a good variety of food. The beach was great and the landscape (green grass and trees) was so nice. The accommodation had everything we needed. I received a wonderful surprise (a birthday cake and card) from Stella De Mare family for my birthday which fell on one of the dates I was there. Overall, it was a lovely and memorable trip.
toilet is not clean
It was amazing everything perfect Except water for drink the hotel charge resident for it more than trible the normal price
Every thing was great except drinking water they charged us for it expensively if they fix this they will be totaly awesome
Beautiful place
Close to Cairo and nice facilities
Good
Excellent beach, location around 1 hour from Cairo. Excellent food quality, quantity, and variety. Very good aqua park Excellent landscape and garden Excellent transportation to and from the beach
it was excellent. we enjoyed everything
Overall, our stay was wonderful. Staff are a great treasure to the property. Room was clean, spacious with a nice decoration placed in the room for our anniversary and a delicious cake, special thanks to Melisa and Abader from G.R and Kirollos from H.K. Food was so delicious with a wide range of selections everyday. The restaurant staff and chefs were so nice, very welcoming and hospitable, so attentive to our needs especially chef Medhat and other chefs. We had a lot of problems with the internet connection but thanks to G.R & I.T team they changed our room and the internet became a bit better than before. The other negative thing about the service is the quantity supply of water bottles in the room. We were limited to 2 bottles per person for the entire day, which is not enough consumption. we hope this thing can be considered for a future visit. Lastly, the entertainment program can be modified to include a different variety other than just the singer and DJ every night. At the end, thanks to everyone who helped us and made our stay an amazing one. Regards, Mr & Mrs Lewiz
Overall very good. Staff were very professional. Great water sports activities at the beach. Just wished we knew about it earlier rather than at the end of the trip. But food and the area was great.
The staff is veryyyy rude , unfriendly, inflexible, veryyyyy slow if you asked them to get you something.. except the waiters at the restaurant
The food is fantastic (mainly your seafood meals), wide varieties ... Egyptian, international & Asian meals were really tasty ... 😋👍😍 The friendly staff is a main plus point. Safety makes the place ideal for kids accompanied by their families. Regards
We had an okay stay at Stella Di Mare. Pros: - Nice clean, spacious and very comfortable rooms. - excellent staff, helpful and friendly - good food with the half board Cons: - tennis courts are in horrible condition and charged for access - need more fresh fruits at the restaurant (banana, strawberry, anything in season) Overall we had a restful stay, but we wished billiards and tennis was free for hotel guests. It's good value for money overall and would recommend if wanting some sea experience on a budget.
It was pleasant and the kids club was good.
We loved our stay, the staff was great and very helpful. Especially Mai she supported us since we arrived and was a great help. We will definitely go back.
Pros. Clean, friendly staff. Good entertainment. Cons. Extremely expensive bar. $20 for a shot of liquor and more for mixed drinks! They charge for drinking water. (No sense)! Wi-Fi is a joke. Even if you pay extra to get Wi-Fi in your room. You’ll never get it. Overall. We liked the place and I highly recommend it.
I don’t recommend anyone who is not Egyptian to stay at this hotel. Service was less than average in many situations. Workers were not respectful. The list can go on but my overall experience wasn’t satisfactory.
Excellent vacation
Great destination. Rooms are very clean. Pools are super clean and many spots so you never feel crowded. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The beach is clean and the water was so clear. Food was good and again the staff was brilliant. The only observation is that the facility is a bit dated and and will benefit from technology upgrade.
Great hotel with great staff and pool , water park is awesome , food is also very good , only the room is a little bit outdated but overall great experience.
Excellent hotel… Sara the guest relation manager is very professional and supportive… the staff are very professional and friendly… I have to say that I had Avery bad experience with the bazar shop there and don’t recommend it at all … you can buy from the shops in the village
Great
Ok hotel... Nothing wow
Horrible check-in, good facilities and food
The overall experience was okay but the check-in process made for a miserable start of our weekend. Key-cards didn't work so we had to wait for 15 minutes until they realized they had to change our room. The replacement didn't have the bed arrangement that we had requested. The bellman falsely claimed that this was easily remediable with a quick phone call. Instead, the response was it wasn't fixable and that we should be thankful for getting a replacement room as opposed to the management letting us sit in the scorching sun with our luggage until they pulled their act together. Even the replacement room was very challenging to get into because only one key worked and sporadically at that. The nail in the coffin was when they refused to make dinner arrangements for the remainder of our party who were running late and checking in around midnight, even though they were paying the full rate!
Good and comfort , the food quality need to be more better
Very friendly staff and clean room, the food was good and the service was great
There was nothing we didn't like.... everything was perfect. I particularly loved the way breakfast and dinner were served. They managed to provide an open buffet while being safe and efficient. The staff on all levels were extremely nice, polite, and genuinely want to help and make your stay the best ever. My wife and I are definitely coming back!
The room furniture is rundown and there was very loud music playing at the beach
Wonderful Resort - Just Needs Food Like Movenpick
Positives: The room was as good at the photos, absolutely beautiful. We had a standard room. The grounds are kept up very well. The pool was lovely and warm. The beach was excellent! This included the service, the beach-bar, the bathrooms, the beach chairs and little train that comes every 10min to go in between the hotel and beach. There is an excellent grassy and large, gated playground if you have small children. It's on the property near the beach. The man who attended our room, Karam, was so wonderful and made our stay even better. He was just so polite and took good care of us. Negatives: Really, the food at the buffet was pretty sad. Cold and dry "french toast", cakes that all taste the same (no taste), foul (beans) with no flavor, eggs boiled until brownish, and just a general lack of food cost put into the selection. I get the feeling they are economizing. Fruit selection was apples cut into chucks with about 1 grape for every 3 cups of apples. My friend compared the Sea Club buffet to North Korea. We did 1 dinner and 1 breakfast, although we had paid for all 3 days. Luckily the Italian restaurant at Stella Grand across the way was amazing. The Asian food restaurant was also alright. We paid to eat there. We paid for breakfast at the Grand after that. Their buffet was a little better, they had coffee, fruit and cereal, and the food was prepared and kept warm better. If food is your thing, I can't recommend Stella in Sokhna.
Thank you for great time there and good hospitality
The staff was amazing. Very friendly. The hotel rooms are old. Old furniture old tv.etc. The hotel charges to play at the pool table. Maybe a little to desperate for extra money.
It was good and has great access to beach. Nice rooms and views fi pool
Beware the bed bugs!
Our stay was great except that I got about 100 bed bug bite, and my wife got about 25. We have been gone a week and still are recovering!
It's a quite place for relaxation, nice beach and the room is spacious and clean. Animation was not much and at night not much things to do. The wifi was not free except in the bar area
Worst day of my life
We were a group of 3 couples , all Egyptians (and proud), we booked 3 double rooms from hotels.com , totally paid by visa , showing with a confirmation number. When we get to the hotel , they asked us to pay extra 2800 pounds because we don’t have the British nationality !! Knowing that nothing mentioned this in our reservation. So it’s not totally our fault. The hotel didn’t try to help us to find a solution , they left us helpless ( can you imagine)in the lobby for 6 hours and we started to contact the site . The hotel insists either we pay the extra or the reservation will be cancelled and we it’s your problem with the site !!! I wrote on their page on Facebook that we were treated in an unprofessional way , very rude ( they didn’t insult us but they treated us in a rude way as if we have to beg them ) , then they asked us to remove the comment on Facebook and they will give us another rate , we refused. They lied to us telling us the site has cancelled your booking and the site didn’t, very unprofessional, they have a problem in the guest relationship way . I booked hundred times through different sites from internet and this is the first time I was treated that way. Negotiations for 6 hours in vain and finally we decided to leave the hotel after loosing a whole day of our vacation!! And this is why ?? Because one of my country’s hotel rates me higher than a foreigner !! Once again sunrise hotel WE ARE EGYPTIANS AND WE ARE PROUD. Not recommended at all
Bad experience. Weird regulations distributed our holidays
The location is very unique... and the nightlife usual you have something to do
